up for this tier list I'm going to put

the weakest stuff on the left side of

each tier and the stronger stuff on the

right side of the tier our first add-on

we're going to deal with is steel toe

boots so steel toe boots decreases

recovery time after hitting an object

Steelo boots slightly decreases the bump

penalty I don't think the add-on does

much at all I think the add-on's pretty

good if you use it with the other bump

add-on like low kickback chains which

I'll explain probably later but I mean

it's not like an add-on that's like

really bad that's just going to make it

detrimental for Billy it's just an

add-on that barely is going to like make

an impact with games I mean that being

said I would put this add-on definitely

in uh D tier next we're going to deal

with dad's boots dad's boots increases

the chainsaw Sprint turn rate by 30% so

I mean dad's boots compared to stelo

boots it actually does a little bit of

value I feel like the add-on is

incredible great when you have it with

another turning add-on it could probably

do a little bit of work with any of the

other add-ons here as well for Dad's

boots as much as it makes a bigger

difference in

games I'm going to put this at least in

D as well because it does give you a

little bit of more turning but the

Turning isn't like super big or

something that like I said just like

with stel toe boots isn't like uh pretty

impactful I mean on the other hand it's

it's definitely better than stoe boots

anyways because the Turning you can

notice more okay next add-on is going to

be cracked Primal B where survivors hit

with chainsaw are damaged for a single

Health State and it increases overdrive

Generation by 15% the thing with this

add-on I really feel like if you're

using this against good teams this

add-on is completely F tier like it does

not do much but if you're using it

against like bad teams or all right

teams considering you know how Base Kit

Billy feels with overdrive this add-on I

would say would make it to at least D

tier in a way despite all that like I

mean like a really good Billy will make

this add-on pretty good but this at the

end of the day this add-on is kind of a

meme add-on after all if you're really

trying to play it very efficient with

this add-on I would definitely put

cracked primer bulb in F tier and I

would say F tier because keep in mind uh

most of the maps are pretty hard to

curve most of like the spots that you

really want to hit uh Bly Curves in it

could be impossible so despite even with

overdrive sometimes you may not prepare

yourself for the overdrive play and

other times survivors going to be too

smart to play pretty safe and pre- drop

despite you having more overdrive

generation your overdrive uh like only

last for 20 seconds when you're dealing

with survivors that know what they're

doing if you have cracked Primal bulb

and your chainsaw is not insted down you

are going to struggle a lot so like this

add-on will be way more detrimental than

it will be you know like showing like a

little bit of a value in away all right

and the next add-on and I know a lot of

people say this add-on is completely s

tier is counterweight counterweight

decreases the chainsaw Sprint's initial

turn rate by 70% so the surprising thing

about counterweight is this add-on

literally makes the so-called controller

sensitivity at least 70% less so like

let's say the controller sensitivity is

at least like 30% you don't even have to

change your control sensitivity by the

way but basically what this add-on does

is once you start sawing you literally

cannot turn your chainsaw like your

chainsaw will only go forward in the

beginning portion of the Chainsaw Sprint

it's basically playing Billy but curving

is completely just gutted like it's

impossible although you could still turn

normally after the initial chainsaw

Sprint I would say this add-on is all

right if you're trying to hit cross Maps

but this add-on is really really really

awful if you're trying to hit back ribs

because to use this add-on efficiently

you would have to chainsaw directly on

the survivor's back and not give them

distance because if they make one small

Juke you can't slightly flick your mouse

or you can't slightly flick your

controller stick to even hit them with

the saw although like comparing this

add-on to crack primer bulb I mean if

you're going against Bad teams or or all

right teams I feel like you could still

do work with this add-on anyways with

crack Prim although for counterweight

I'm not going to lie as much as I

normally say it kills the fun for Billy

this add-on feels more detrimental then

it does uh feel like beneficial in a way

so I mean honestly I got to put this

add-on directly in F tier like all the

way in the back it's it's a terrible

add-on unfortunately I I can't say this

add-on can make it to like deter

the next item we're going to do is

thermal casing decreases the speed at

which the overdrive meter dissipates

when not using the Chainsaw by 20% all

this add-on pretty much does is that it

makes the speed of the overdrive

dissipation when you're not using your

chainsaw it makes the speed a little bit

slower it doesn't increase like the

downtime uh like it takes before it

starts dissipating like this would be

the type of add-on that would be nice to

use if you're playing on an indoor map

because that way you can try to save

overdrive instead of like having to just

hold the hold your L stick forward or

like holding W to catch up to anybody

but I can't lie for it being an add-on

that slows down the uh overdrive

dissipation which still is somewhat good

it's a pretty useless add-on though for

real like I don't think I don't think

this add-on does any value or like any

impact I mean it's not detrimental

though but I don't think this add-on

really does much at all but I mean

honestly considering like all of those

factors I would probably put this add-on

literally in the back of D tier I mean

like hey it's it's better than crack

Primal bulb or counterweight because

like it's not detrimental but this

add-on is just straight useless and now

we're going to deal with Spike boots

what got changed before is the bump

penalty is not in the add-on now Spike

boots by itself is a really really great

add-on I think this add-on would be

awesome to use if you are new to playing

building if you want to just try to get

like cross map I will say spike boots

this add-on is a very great add-on for

beginners and for experts as well with

Billy usually these add-ons like Spike

boots and Dad's boots this helps for

after the the curve window where you can

just start like uh chainsawing

throughout the entire map like you could

you could literally use this add-on with

counterweight and your turning will be

pretty high after the counterweight

timing cuz yeah this add-on does not

affect curving in any way possible or

even the turn rate in the curving window

I would put this add on at C tier cuz

it's it's pretty impactful it's a it's a

very good add-on I think this add-on

definitely has a better opportunity to

do more work in games so the next one

we're going to deal with is offbrand

mortar oil in the past in my last tier

list video uh this add-on all it did was

make the chainsaw quieter this add-on

doesn't do that anymore now this add-on

increases your overdrive generation it's

surprisingly the same amount as crack

primer bul but it doesn't give the

penalty of making your chainsaw not

instant down so like this add-on is a

pretty pretty great add-on especially if

you want to like push overdrive more I

mean to be fair this add-on I I will say

has a bigger impact than thermal casing

though because I mean overdrive

generation can be nice if you try to

push overdrive more often instead of

having like the overdrive dissipation uh

help you just catch up with it offbrand

water oil speeds up the overdrive

generation but the truth is in spite of

this you know increasing the overdrive

generation more normally if you if you

want to keep the overdrive generation to

like nearly 90% And to time it proper

early we normally would have to feather

it to prevent it from going like past

100 or too early so like in a way this

this add-on I wouldn't really say it's

like incredibly useless I'd say this

add-on is a little good it's it's still

a little good at the end of the day I'll

definitely put this add-on in CS here

but mostly in the back because as much

as much as it does a bit more of an

impact there's probably a lot of other

add-ons that do more work than um then

offer Mort oil anyways now we're going

to deal with grease throttle decreases

recovery time after using the Chainsaw

by 8% this is a nice add-on I will say I

mean if you combine this with Thompson

mix this add-on is pretty decent like I

think you could also probably use this

add-on with like most of the other

add-ons uh however like You know despite

it being like 8% I don't know if it's

like too much of like a huge impact so

it may seem like you don't see the value

as much despite using re throttle but

this is this is a nice add-on though

nonetheless you try to compare it with

like all the other seats here add-ons I

know grease Dorado is definitely better

than offering mua oil but for it to be

better than Spike boots this I'm kind of

unsure cuz like I mean by itself it's

you know like I don't I don't think it's

like too good but maybe with um maybe

with Thomson mix if we're doing like

double cool down I think this could

literally just be better than these two

instantaneously I will put this in seats

here probably in the middle I like it's

better than this uh but probably not

better than this by itself the next

add-on we're dealing with is clogged

intake so this add-on literally

increases your overdrive by only 3

seconds I wish we had more add-ons uh

like this as well or like maybe increase

the overdrive to like probably a maximum

of at least 5 seconds or 10 seconds but

like I always say Beggars can't be

choosers you know clogged intake I could

tell you this add-on has some really

great Synergy with most of these other

add-ons surprisingly I would say clogged

intake I would put it in CS here

definitely better than all these add-ons

as well so like I think I would totally

Bouch for this though for real and now

this is another one of everyone's

favorite add-ons or as I like to say for

anybody who's played dbd in 2016 this is

a classic add-on called Thomson mix so

in the past this add-on actually made

your chainsaw cool down uh 20% and made

your charge time a little slightly

quicker now this add-on makes your

chainsaw cool down 12% but it doesn't

stack with overdrive with its current

numbers and it's current current state

this add-on is basically greased

throttle but like a little bit better

and I will say if you use Thompson mix

with greased throttle like I mean both

of those two add-ons combined together

would totally make it at least like you

know B tier maybe even a tier as well

actually having some really great

Synergy with most the other add-ons at

first I thought I wanted to make it like

C tier but I can't lie this this add-on

is still pretty good to use I would

definitely running a lot um this is

going to be kind of surprising I'll

actually put it in beats here like I

genuinely think when you use this add-on

with other add-ons I feel like this

add-on can do a good amount of work the

work is not like super heavy but it's

some good work at the end of the day

it's a nice one now ragged engine

decreases the speed at which the

overdrive meter dissipates when not

using the Chainsaw by

30% so this add-on I don't think this

add-on needs an explanation this add-on

is the same thing as thermal casing

except I think it's like 10% more

overdrive uh dissipation so it makes it

a little bit more slower I mean since

since that kind of makes it a little

better in a way at least by the 10% it

doesn't really have an impact against

like most of these other add-ons so I

mean raged engine honestly let's just

put it in DET tier like definitely

definitely better than thermal casing

but at the end of the day these two are

like the same thing now we got low

Kickback chains so low Kickback chains I

mean this add-on is totally better than

dad's boots it's a very it's a very nice

add-on I can't lie it's a really really

nice add-on and like you know when I

think about low Kickback chains versus

Thompson mix there's like a difference

between whipping your chainsaw and then

bumping your chainsaw so if you bump

your chainsaw keep in mind you can't use

wsad whereas if you wh your chainsaw

with a Thompson mix you can still move

with wsad your movements like pretty

minimal so I mean like that being said

that kind of makes Thompson mix

definitely a lot more Superior than uh

low Kickback chains honestly if you use

this add-on with dad's boots like double

bump could be a really really really

great add-on combination too so I mean

honestly for a low Kickback chains I

would actually put this in C tier but I

will say it's definitely better than

offer M Oil definitely better than

grease throttle I'd also say it's better

than Spike boots too but I'll probably

leave it next to spike boots like

probably after this cuz like if we're

comparing this between um The increased

overdrive duration despite it being like

three seconds I'll definitely say low

Kickback chains can still do work but

like without that movement after bumping

sometimes a Survivor can be pretty

intelligent and just hold W to the

opposite direction therefore making the

add-on like not super impactful but you

know a bit of a nice add-on discarded

air filter increases the time it takes

before the overdrive meter starts

dissipating by 20% so here's the

surprising thing about this add-on so

this add-on it's somewhat similar to

like thermal casing and ragged engine

but the catch is the downtime when you

stop chainsawing then you wait till the

the overdrive dissipation begins that

downtime gets increased a whole lot more

and genuinely that that makes it a

little bit better than um these two

add-ons combined that I can't lie if

you're using this add-on in an indoor

map it'll it'll help out because you

realize you're not going to be

chainsawing as much and sometimes you

need that down time and a little bit of

Feathering to figure it out but if

you're doing this on an outdoor map this

add-on might literally just become

incredibly useless the down time before

overdrive dissipation begins it's really

really long and I'm and I doubt any

Billy player is going to hold W and not

chainsaw as much when they're in an

outdoor map whereas in an indoor map

usually you'd have to start chainsawing

a lot maybe feather a couple times so

like this add-on can help out yeah in

spite of that discarded air filter

definitely goes in D tier so like the

impact is not like pretty heavy but at

the end of the day it's still better

than than having the the speed of the

overdrive dissipation becoming a lot

slower cuz like I mean increasing the

downtime makes it better like it's it's

almost similar to like these two add-ons

but I mean if you had to choose between

like any of these two I would definitely

go with this one instead definitely now

here comes another add-on that used to

be a 2016 add-on for Billy which was big

rhyme chains survivors hit with a

chainsaw suffer from the mangled and

Hemorrhage status effects until fully

healed it's like running sloppy Butcher

on Billy except the sloppy affects your

chainsaw I genuinely don't believe this

add-on is good if you're playing M2 only

by the way the problem is like this

add-on won't really have much of an

impact if you only just do chainsaws CU

otherwise everyone's going to just keep

healing and then you might have to

sometimes force yourself to M1 and if

you M1 uh B Grime chains doesn't really

do anything at all cuz you know it

doesn't affect his power since it's like

just a single swing this add-on's good

if you're playing hit and run Billy but

you never know cuz folks won't heal for

dead hard and keep in mind you're an

insta down killer so not everyone is

going to like try to heal against you B

Grime chains I would definitely

recommend using this add-on while also M

oneing injured survivors that way to

slow things down and trying to chainsaw

maybe honestly I would say running this

add-on with Nurse's calling could be

nice preventing people from like fully

healing quickly in a way I might

actually put this somewhere in C tier

honestly I will say bigr chains

definitely is is not as better than uh

low Kickback chains but we're comparing

it to spike boots even though Spike

boots has like a pretty good turn rate

in grease throttle probably going to put

a big rhy chains like right in the

middle just like right here see I'd say

like it's better than these two I

wouldn't say it's better than like you

know the these other add-ons because I

feel like with these other add-ons you

might see like a bit more of an impact

now you guys know my favorite one low

proo chains so if you guys want know

what this add-on is this add-on pretty

much makes you keep your chainsaw spring

going if you break a pallet or a wall

but it'll only injure the Survivor if

you hit them within 5 Seconds of after

breaking the specific pallet or wall

this add-on requires a bit more of a

different play style with Billy at least

you know probably try to respect a lot

often cuz if if you try to like chainsaw

Sprint and someone throws a pallet like

right in your face water chainsaw

sprinting uh sometimes you'll literally

get stunned so like low proo chains

might not help out with that but the

thing with low Pro chains is this

counters a lot of pre- dropping this

this add-on is like legit one of Billy's

Best add-ons in the game and I think in

the past I did put this like somewhere

around like a tier to like s tier I

think if you actually know how to use

Low Pro chains efficiently and know how

to play your curves after breaking like

a pallet or wall with the Low Pro and

keep in mind combining that with

overdrive I would say low proo chains is

an stier add-on like this add-on is so

good this on is incredibly great on

Billy and I promise you if you use this

on Billy and you try to like learn it

you will become one of the most

strongest building players out there now

we got highspeed idler screw it

increases the time it takes before the

overdrive meter starts dissipating by

30% I I mean this add-on doesn't really

need too much of an explanation this

add-on is kind of similar to discarded

air filter it just makes it like a

little bit longer although a bit of a

fun fact if you use discarded air filter

with highspeed I SC it makes the

overdrive dissipation like the beginning

of it take like a while so like it's

almost like literally playing Billy

except overdrive dissipation doesn't

even exist at all because it's involved

to that mostly I'm putting this in DTR

as well he next add-on we're doing is

filthy slippers after maintaining a

chainsaw Sprint for 2 seconds Grant's

undetectable until the chainsaw Sprint

ends this add-on is basically a brick so

if your chainsaw Sprint lasts more than

two seconds then you become undetectable

so you won't even have a teror radius

but you'll still hear the chainsaw from

like really far although like this this

add-on I will say again it's a bit more

map Reliant because your ter radius kind

of goes away and you have to hope that

you don't bump a lot like this addon

could be nice if you're trying to do it

with like a silent or a stealth Billy

build but I mean thanks to uh most of

the recent Billy changes I think this

add-on is a little bit better however

like you know the map reliancy can be a

bit of a pain because sometimes you

never know if Collision could be bad and

if you want to get like a hit or if you

if you're like a little slightly close

but you never really make it at all I

know in the past I actually put um a

brick on D tier but I think for filthy

slippers I may slightly raise it cuz I

know it's like it's definitely better

than any of these add-ons and with new

Billy you can have easier opportunities

to get cross maps and Snipes without

anybody noticing so I would honestly put

filthy slippers at like the back of

seats here I mean I wouldn't say it's

better than like the overdrive

generation but I'll say like with the

right with the right perks maybe even

the right add-ons especially the right

Maps this add-on can make like you know

pretty slight to like moderate impact

all right now we're dealing with Apex

Muffler I mean you guys know what Apex

Muffler is this is the add-on that

pretty much makes room for silen Billy

although the thing that I don't like

about this add-on so like keep in mind

Billy's Base Kit has zero stealth on it

like it comes with the ter radius it

comes with the overdrive sound it comes

with the chainsaw like the problem with

this add-on is if you use this add-on

with no other add-on and no other perk

or if you use this add-on with um a

tracking build if you use this add-on

with a tracking build this add-on will

do absolutely nothing literally nothing

in the entire game like this add-on is

genuinely add-on Reliant per and perk

Reliant I wouldn't say it's map Reliant

cuz sometimes for a silent Billy game

game you can sneak up to people without

them noticing you would need

undetectable perks and maybe like you

know with filthy slippers it could be

nice also I mean even with Spike boots

this could help out even more like I

think this add-on has some good Synergy

with Spike boots or even filthy slippers

or maybe some of these other add-ons

like you got to probably try to try

something but on the braid side you

don't have to run an engraving on it

because like overdrive exists so you can

still try to play curve Billy while

having uh no chainsaw sound for like

everyone in the game as well despite all

of this I'm going to put this add-on

back to the same tier as it was uh last

year although it's definitely better

than filthy slippers when you're using

it with the right perks and

add-ons I will literally just put it

right here now we're dealing with tuned

carburetor this add-on is very very

interesting it makes your charge time

kind of quick but it also makes your

movement speed uh 4.4 and I'm not going

to lie I think this add-on is really

really good if you're chainsawing a lot

if you're not chain swing as much trying

to chase people with as like a 4.4

killer most of you guys know that that

literally sucks that sucks entirely like

you you do not want to chase anybody as

like a 4.4 I think like when you're

using a tomb carburetor without

overdrive this add-on can be like a bit

of a huge struggle unless you're trying

to like play for back ribs it could

probably help out or like maybe you know

running it with like other iridescent

engraving add-on which I will explain

later this this add-on this add-on can

kind of help out uh to like Dodge most

of like the cool downs and the penalties

like thisle could also have some pretty

good Synergy if you run it with like

let's say Low Pro chains or even Thomson

mix as well but honestly I will say this

add-on does so much work when you have

overdrive on like this if you use T

carburetor and you have overdrive on top

of it you move really fast but you also

have a very very quick charge time I

think this add is great if you're just

chainsawing a lot I mean like with a lot

of practice if you can figure that out

with uh tune carburetor honestly I think

this add-on can have a pretty great

opportunity but despite like the 4.4 and

you know sometimes not having overdrive

on I'm going to put this add-on in B

tier I mean definitely better than Thon

miix for sure but at least with a pretty

good efficiency it has like it has a

nice opportunity to be like one of

Billy's Best add-ons and lastly we are

going to do iridescent Engravings so I

mean think of this as like Doom

Engravings but the catch is when you

don't have OverDrive

you literally move at like almost double

engraving speed like just without

overdrive but with overdrive you move so

incredibly fast that if you see a

Survivor like almost like kind of close

to you and you're trying to get like one

single one single chainsaw Sprint from

like point A to point B the moment you

start chainsawing I don't think that

Survivor can actually Dodge whatsoever

also I mean like this add-on definitely

takes so much practice because keep in

mind you're moving super fast so

sometimes you may forget how to curve or

other times you may just go kind of wide

with most of your belly curves although

there's like one small concern I have

about this add-on and that concern is

like the longer charge time however like

if you're using this add-on like

regularly and you just keep learning the

uh the engraving charge time I don't

think this add-on can be that bad and

plus Feathering efficiently can help you

time your Billy curves right when you're

using the iridescent engraving I mean

with that being said I would definitely

say area Engravings is an a tier

add-on yep and that is the official tier

list like I said it's weakest stuff on

the left strongest stuff on the right on

F tier we have counterweight and crack

primer bulb on D tier we have thermal

casing we have raged engine followed by

steel toe boots then we have Dad's boots

then we got discarded air filter

followed by the high speeed Idol screw

then we go to CER where we have filthy

SL slippers Apex Muffler off- red motor

oil re throttle B Grime chains Spike

boots low Kickback chains clogged intake

then going to B tier we get a Thompson

mix and T carburetor then we go to a

tier which is just the iridescent

engraving and then we go to S tier which

is Low Pro chains so I mean like in

spite of all this I kind of think most

of Billy's add-ons they're not like

super great but I could tell why cuz

like they made Billy's like Base Kit

incredibly good anyways if you try to

play Billy without any add-ons I think

you can still like manage to hit a 4K

pretty well especially if you get the

the learning of it properly but yeah um

with that being said this is the

official Billy add-on tier list of 2024
