well first off let's kick things off

with looks these new drivers look

phenomenal like they really really do

there's three in the lineup GT2 GT3 GT4

and they all for different types of

golfers I'll come on to the technology

in a minute but for tight list they've

always been very classic with their

design and this doesn't change it could

have changed this year and I'll come on

to why that's the case as well in a

second but it's this very Classic this

kind of black dark glossy top finish

this very streamlined sole of the golf

club I love love the styling of this GT

I mean even coming on to the head cover

how nice is that head cover that's one

of the nicest head covers I have ever

ever seen makes me want to use the

driver just for that um but really they

have stuck with tradition when it comes

to looks where things have dramatically

changed this year is the technology

tight List have always been kind of

refiners the they'll go yeah we've got a

good product we're just going to refine

it every two years we'll bring out a new

drive we'll just refine it well they

honestly believe this time bringing this

new GT line out they have completely

stepped ahead in technology in fact it's

the reason why it's called GT

generational technology now GT for most

of us means kind of speed you know Grand

Turismo GT when you see a fast car

typically means speed and this isn't all

just talk from Titus this year there is

actually a big technology story as well

there's three main stories in fact

first off the crown there's this new

seamless therof form Ultra lightweight

material that tit have used that

apparently has never been used in golf

before and what this allows is this kind

of split Mass construction so even

though this does look like all one

material on the driver head it's

actually multile materials but they've

kind of Blended it so it still looks

like a titless driver I think if in the

hands of other companies this driver

would have looked very different like

the Crown would have probably been a

different color um just to almost

showcase that technology but tiers

didn't want that and their Tor Pros who

very much have a say in the design of

the drivers didn't want that either they

wanted it to look like a classic driver

orbe it it is patched full of technology

and then the last thing again it's

internal so you're not really going to

see this but it's a new speed ring vft

face so two technologies coming together

to create GT's apparently amazingly fast

face we'll see if that's the case

they've also really streamlined the head

design so it's more aerodynamic than

ever before and last thing it's not a

massive technology story but it's the

face Graphics again Titus very much used

the feedback from their tour Pros to

inspire the new look of the drivers and

they their feedback is they want this

kind of new graphic on the face where I

actually quite like it the middle

section is a little bit darker it's not

really got any Groove lines on it

ideally that's where you want to hit the

golf ball from and then there just three

kind of I spikes almost graphics on the

toe and on the heel it's nice I really

like the graphics of the face it's not

have any advantage on ball speed or

distance or very little but it's just a

really nice look certainly when you're

addressing it behind the golf ball

price-wise 579 per driver so about $600

roughly it's expensive but a lot of

drivers are going that way now

um I don't personally like to see the

driver price that high I I think drivers

in my opinion should never be over £500

but they are certainly going that way

now where you're not getting a lot of

change out of 600 for a driver so let's

get back to the testing as I mentioned

earlier on there's three different heads

GT2 GT3 GT4 so to start things off I

went down to titless fitting Center wurn

here in the UK and had a really good

fitting actually for these drivers um

I've not always had great fittings from

different particular Brands uh but this

was really good I hit it like I would do

normally some good some bad I wasn't

trying to smash it as high as I could

just get a realistic fitting so I could

obviously give the review and give these

drivers a fair test um actually came out

pretty much standard in most things I've

actually just gone up in a 10 degree

head in each one uh but all of them in

A1 setting all of them in pretty much

the same shaft this 10i xflex 65 G shaft

and basically I wanted to go through

what was different with these three

driver heads and initial hits each Drive

head looked a little bit different

naturally and just did perform a a

little bit different starting off with

the GT2 this driver is for the majority

of golfers it is the most forgiving head

model it's

460cc it's not got the weight super far

forward it's still generating speed

that's the big story but it is the most

forgiving model for handicaps of

anywhere from probably to be honest

fairly low handicappers from maybe five

handicappers all the way up to 28

handicappers and higher um I

in the future not so distant future

there'll probably be a GT1 model coming

out as well which will be the ultra

Ultra forgiving model titless have done

that for the last few years it wouldn't

surprise me if they did again I liked

hitting that drive it was really nice

I'll come on to a bit more testing and

data shortly GT3 this one is probably

the one that's most suited again to a

lot of golfers from lower handicappers

maybe not to much as higher

handicappers um this drive ahead again

460cc slightly different makeup compared

to GT2 a little bit squashed in but

still the same sized head there's also

this adjustable weight chamber at the

front where you can actually take that

chamber off and there's a weight and you

can get other weights that you can slide

into five different settings neutral

heel one heel two toe one toe two so if

you've got a bit more tendency of

drawing it you might stick it in the

heel if you got a bit more of a tendency

of hooking it you might stick it a bit

more in the toe but it's a bit faffy I

didn't like the weight changing setting

on it you have to take that kind of

plastic panel off you then got an

adjustable weight in the middle it's

very very very difficult to fiddle with

even the fitter was let's be honest was

struggling a little bit when I've had a

little mess about with it I didn't enjoy

doing it unlike other brands where it's

really easy you you know I think Taylor

Made always do a good job in their

shifting weight you un clip it you slide

it you clip it back in that's one of the

fafi weight changing methods I've ever

seen however I really like the driver it

felt great it looked fantastic it flew

superb it's not as forgiven as the GT2

from initial testing but it's very very

very good

GT4 the low spin monster now again this

if I'm honest with you is really

designed for Tor Pros for guys with

faster swing speeds um who

maybe increase I have too much spin on

the golf ball want to lower the spin a

little bit more but really you need to

have fast Club head speed fast ball

speeds I enjoyed hitting that driver I

did it feels fantastic it's a smaller

head size at 430 CC so it feels like

will you can shift it a little bit

faster through the air but it's um it's

harder to control and actually I saw

similar results when I got the drivers

back home to Mar at Worley Park and took

them out on the golf course and give

them all a hit um I I really really

enjoyed hitting GT2 I felt like it was

very easy to find Fairways and knew I

wasn't getting ultimate pop off the face

I could tell that even without any data

just yet but it was flying straight it

was easy to hit the ball flight was

solid um just really really enjoyable

driver I think a lot of people majority

of golfers probably watching this video

will probably fit into that kind of GT2

line okay next up titless

GT3 you could tell it had a little bit

more punch in it there a little bit more

speed in that Drive ahead the ball was

coming off hotter I was still hitting it

fairly straight but just losing a couple

every now and again either overturning

it or leaving it out to the right it was

longer I could tell that it just wasn't

quite as forgiving okay last one tight

GT4 it's might where the fun and game

start this is fun driver like I said

this going back to this kind of sports

car analogy with the GT this is the V8

tur turbo injected absolute Beast like

this when this changes gear it pops and

it bounces and it and it grows it does

everything you want from a fast GT car

sometimes you don't always want that in

a driver it was fun I loved hitting out

on the golf course when when you catch

one when you catch one it flew but when

you don't catch one you hit it from the

toe you don't hit it as pure it

definitely definitely struggles with

performance so then I brought it back

into the hit Studio get some data I hit

a load of shots with all the three

drivers and I'll be honest just before I

even show the

data I've tested a lot of drivers over

the years 12 years of creating content

on YouTube testing different golf clubs

and typically when Brands bring out two

or three drivers for me there's always

one that I'm like ah I'm just not the

biggest fan of that one I don't like

that one as much or you know that one

doesn't suit me

personally I really really enjoyed

hitting all three drivers for three very

different reasons I just I just every

time I didn't matter which head cover I

took off if it was the GT2 three or four

it didn't really matter to me I actually

enjoyed hitting them for all different

reasons whether it was to definitely

find the Fairway maybe not get the most

distance whether it was to hit a little

bit faster or whether it was just to

have a bit of fun with the GT4 now just

a quick one before I come on to the data

if you've watched my videos before my

normal swing speed is about 110 mph I

want to get about 160 mph ball speed if

I carry it around about that 280 yards

I'm happy that's a good performance for

me GT2 kicking things off my average

swing speed was 10 19.9 so pretty much

exactly where I'd normally see it

distance-wise it's getting 274 yards of

average carry distance solid not

mind-blowing but very solid total

distance 292 yards spin rate was a

little bit higher 2600 and ball speed

definitely didn't get to that 160

157.6 however

I did not miss a fairway and some of the

shots with the GT2 were so outrageously

straight like really really impressive I

knew I wasn't going to hit a long one I

could you know I can tell by the driver

I've hit it got so many times in this

testing I knew it wasn't going to go

long but I can stand there with a driver

and just feel like it's going to hit

Fairway which is a huge Advantage moving

into GT3 my club at speed increased

slightly to 110.4 mil per hour just

worth noting and this one really for me

almost hit my um Target

driver stats perfectly average carry

distance 280 yards on the nose total

distance 299 yards ball speed 160. 4 mph

light perfect perfect perfect spin rate

2,600 a little bit higher on the spin

than I normally see I think if that if I

get the those kind of slightly lower um

spin numbers when I hit it slightly

higher on the face that's when I did get

this driver popping into the high 280

yards if you catch it a little bit off

the bottom I found that the performance

wasn't that bad I didn't hit as many

Fairways I didn't but again it wasn't

Reckless I really enjoyed hitting that

driver finally the GT4 the fun driver

now I expected to see faster Club head

speed with this driver being a bit small

I just I felt like I was swinging it

faster the actual stats said wasn't 10.8

mph so again average to how I normally

swing my driver 283 yards of average

carry distance solid but that doesn't

really tell the story this driver when I

absolutely crunched it was getting me

into 290 yards of carry distance

comfortably when I misstruck it we saw

some 270 yards 260 yards even um and

also it was Reckless I didn't know where

it was going to go if we look at the

dispersion rings of the three drivers

you can really see the yellow ring there

the GT4 just being wide very wide um but

there will be a there'll be a golfer out

there certainly the best players in the

world will be looking at that GT4 for me

I think the lineup is fantastic this

year like really really really solid I

think there's some I I

think I'd go as far as saying they're

the most exciting titless drivers they

brought out in the last God

15 years the most exciting drivers

they've brought out the last 15 years

and I think if they can build on this

now I think they are going to have a

real I don't know I feel like T this

stock has slipped a little bit in the

driver Market compared to like Taylor

May Callaway even ping I feel like with

this driver it's going to help them kind

of get some market share again and more

importantly help you guys become better
