Outlines
🎬 Original Concept and Transformation of 'Open Season'
The first paragraph delves into the development of the animated film 'Open Season'. Initially, the movie was intended to be a raw and intense portrayal of hunting and animal mistreatment, with minimal humor and 2D animation. However, due to the potential profitability concerns and the prevailing success of 3D animation by studios like Pixar and Dreamworks, the director, Roger Allers, was persuaded to adopt a more comedic tone and 3D animation style. The story revolves around a young woman, Beth, who rescues a bear cub, Boog, and raises him to be a domesticated bear. The narrative shifts to Beth's life as a forest ranger and her efforts to protect Boog from hunters, leading to a series of events where Boog and an injured deer named Elliot form an unlikely friendship.
🐾 The Harsh Reality and Friendship in the Wild
In the second paragraph, the story unfolds with Boog and Elliot's journey into the wilderness, where they encounter various aggressive animals due to their survival struggles against hunters. Elliot's backstory is revealed, including his expulsion from his herd and the truth behind his broken horn. The narrative intensifies as Boog and Elliot's friendship strengthens, leading to a confrontation with the brutal leader of the elk herd, Ian. The story takes a dramatic turn with a dam break causing a flood, which results in the accidental death of several animals and the realization that they have strayed into the hunting zone. This leads to a conflict between Boog and Elliot, but they reconcile and prepare to face the hunters.
🔫 A Brutal Confrontation and the End of Hunting in Timberline
The final paragraph describes a violent confrontation between the animals and the hunters, contrasting with the original film's narrative. The animals, led by Boog and Elliot, retaliate against the hunters with a merciless attack, reflecting the hunters' previous cruelty. The fight culminates in the death of Elliot, which unleashes Boog's wild side, leading to a tragic end for the antagonist, Shaw. The story concludes with Beth witnessing the aftermath and the decision to end hunting in Timberline, ensuring the forest's safety for the animals. The film ends with a poignant scene of Beth mourning Boog's death and leaving a childhood memento at his burial site, symbolizing the end of a painful chapter.

Highlights
The original concept for 'Open Season' was a darker, more brutal portrayal of hunting and animal mistreatment, contrasting with the final comedic version.
Roger Allers, director of 'The Lion King', was initially brought in to direct 'Open Season' with a more serious tone, but was later convinced to adopt a lighter, 3D animation style due to market trends.
In the initial version, the story began with Beth, a forest ranger, who rescues a young bear named Boog after witnessing a grizzly bear's death caused by hunters.
Boog was raised to be a domesticated bear, a stark contrast to the powerful grizzly bear seen in the final film.
The early version depicted a confrontation between Beth and Shaw, a hunter, over the upcoming hunting season, with Shaw being portrayed as a drunk and abusive character.
The story included a dramatic scene where Shaw, in a drunken rage, attempts to kill Boog and Elliot, but is stopped by Beth who tranquilizes them.
In the original plot, Boog and Elliot form a friendship after Elliot saves Boog from Shaw's hunting dogs, leading to a bond that drives the rest of the story.
The early version had a more intense depiction of the animals' struggle for survival against hunters, showing a harsher reality of life in the wild.
Ian, a character in the original version, was portrayed as a brutal and strict leader, who ousted Elliot from the herd and broke his horn in a fight.
The story had a tragic turn where Elliot sacrifices himself to save Boog from Shaw, leading to Boog unleashing his wild side and avenging Elliot's death.
The hunters in the original version were shown to be ruthless, torturing and killing animals without mercy, which was a stark contrast to the final film's portrayal.
The climax of the story involved a brutal fight between the animals and hunters, with the animals attacking back mercilessly, a far cry from the comedic action in the final film.
The original ending was much darker, with Boog and the other animals killing Shaw and leaving the hunters in a state of terror.
The story concluded with Beth returning to the forest, finding the burial site of Boog, and leaving a symbolic blue teddy bear and horn, signifying the end of hunting in Timberline.
The original script was ultimately discarded in favor of a lighter, more comedic version, which has since been somewhat forgotten, leaving this darker version to remain in obscurity.

alcalde quien había visto a sho borracho
llevarían a ambos y bug despierta
sepan Cómo llegar a timberlin aunque no
sabían eliot vería a Gisel y después Ian
solos y pensando a y bug y lot
fortalecen su vínculo de amistad al
punto en que ambos comienzan a charlar
esa noche a la mañana siguiente ambos
despiertan y ocurre todo lo que había
pasado en la película final Book se
enteraría que eliot no tenía idea de
cómo llegar a timberlin ocasiona
acostumbrados a maltratar y asesinar a
oso doméstico no pudo hacerle frente y
tener atención médica a tiempo
olvido
