I said I was going to drop the video on
Monday and here we are the commentary
Channel
now don't even know what this channel is
going to be I just kind of wanted to
make a channel where like it was more
than just beats and instrumentals and
stuff like that where I just talk about
stuff in my mind and people like to like
hear people talk at least on YouTube I
like to hear people talk I mean I just
feel like it would be a good idea to
just make a channel where I just talk
about stuff I wasn't making videos
really just because it sounds cringe
like talking to myself it's just kind of
weird I'm not used to talking to myself
I'm talking to like the people that's
watching the video but like not really
but anyways
um something that's been on my mind
lately I guess that's gonna be this is
gonna be the topic of the video is uh
just not caring if you ever met me you
just kind of like got to know me as a
person for like a little more than a
week you know that I like care a lot
about things that probably don't matter
too much it's hard for me to think of
examples right now but like it'd be like
small things that I'd just be very
particular about and if they're not done
that way or if it's not the exact way or
if it's not like perfect
um I just kind of get like down about it
or I just refrain from doing it at all
so like with this channel like I was
really supposed to have multiple videos
out before this but kind of over thought
it was like okay well I need to get the
right the perfect microphone the um I
need to get my editing editing down I
need to learn how to edit this and that
um I need to make it like coherent and
like professional and this and that I
mean I just wanted to be watchable you
know that's really all it is I just know
that I'm gonna have to build up to that
point just like how it was with making
beats like my first beat wasn't the best
beat probably wasn't even listenable you
know I got to a point where like I
started actually enjoying listening to
my Beats on my own here we are today you
know people can actually use my Beats
and people actually buy them now like I
just feel like this year is just the
last year I want to care for real
because it's just unneeded stress bro
you just gotta like at some point just
do the things you want to do in life
that's where I'm at with this video and
this channel is just checking off
something I wanted to do in my life like
that I was just putting up for a long
time whether it be like I was waiting
for this thing to happen or this thing
that happened in order for me to make
the YouTube channel or I was waiting
until I was in the right mindset or
whatever like like even like making this
video now I just like feel like redoing
and retaking it or whatever but I just
know that uh I'm gonna get better as I
keep going I just have to put out the
first video that's all it is man whether
it gets zero views or a hundred thousand
views I gotta like just keep pushing
same thing with music bro like sometimes
I feel this way about music like
whenever there's slow months or I don't
get as many sales or I you know I'm not
like going crazy or whatever like oh
everybody's not using my Beats I just
start to think okay like am I bad or you
know the intrusive thoughts start to
come in but like something you learn is
that if you just keep going things just
pan out for you like because you're just
around you just give yourself the best
probability for things to happen when
you're just around that's that's what
you got to keep in mind so with this
YouTube channel I'm gonna apply that
same principle I'm gonna just keep doing
it no matter who it who's watching or
how big it gets or how well it does or
whatever at the end of the day I did it
because it was something I was genuinely
interested in doing and it's something
that helps me helps me express my my
thoughts in a way that might be
beneficial I don't know like people
might take something from this but all
in all I'm really just doing it for
myself because
um I just wanted to make a channel for
so long and there's other things I want
to do too but like I got to take it one
step at a time another part of the video
I want to separate this into his uh
just organization and just time like my
whole career up until this point has
been very spontaneous and random that's
the best way I could put it like yes I
put in the time to get better at things
and this and that but overall like I
couldn't have predicted the outcome of
certain things you know it just happened
that way due to me just like you know
putting things out there into the world
whatever that'd be like beats tutorials
or whatever
um shoot one of the biggest connections
I ever got recently he found me through
me dropping a drum kit that drum kit
only got maybe like a thousand likes or
something it was very low key bro it's
not even on my page anymore and then he
reached out to me because he heard a
beat off the drum kit uh previews us a
beat I made with the with the kid it was
like a serum bank I dropped like a year
or two ago but uh it's just very random
wasn't planned or nothing all in all I
just want to reiterate a lot of this
stuff is random and all you can really
do is just prepare for things like that
to happen you're never gonna know when
it's gonna happen but you don't want to
be a Sitting Duck you want to make sure
that you have things in place to
continue the success once it comes
around the first time in my personal
experience I feel like the biggest skill
Gap with like running my own business
per se is separating the business from
the art and to be real it's just way
easier said than done like a lot of
people would just say oh just separate
the business from the yard but what the
business does is it makes you get into
things that you're not really passionate
about and from that it could really just
eat easily turn into something that you
do for yourself to something that you
have to do for others to survive and
like I feel like that throws a lot of
creatives and entrepreneurs all there's
a lot of aspects to doing the thing that
you want to do every day and I even want
to argue like if you're a musician
watching this I feel like now we live in
a time where like content kind of
triumphs over accomplishments like if
you're somebody that posts a lot and has
built a strong brand over the years I
think that you're gonna find that you're
gonna grow a lot faster and that's just
how it goes you're just using the apps
the right way at the end of the day
these platforms might be where we talk
to friends and send memes to each other
but they're really tools so like grow
your brand and that's something I'm
starting to realize too just like four
years deep into music which is kind of
not what I signed up for but I'm just
playing my situation I realize that I
have to put myself out there more to
reach more people whether that be with
my content with my Beats or whatever I
personally want my Brands to be bigger
than just beats and instrumentals so so
I have to put in the work in other areas
to make sure that you know people don't
just see me has a profile picture on the
screen or just like a beat maker or even
an artist I don't I just don't want to
be put in a box because I feel like
there's a lot of things I want to do but
in order to do those things I've
realized that I've had to do things that
I've never done before this being one of
them and this brings me to my point of
organization and time management I don't
know about y'all but I'm pretty lazy if
I had to guess it took me about two
weeks to make this video it really is
because I was just putting it off for
other things like just making more beats
throughout the day or just playing video
games or just relaxing or taking naps
anything but making the video and a big
part of that for real is just because I
feel overwhelmed like as a creative I
have to work on so many different things
not even just this video but as I said I
make a bunch of beat packs for people uh
loot packs for people in the process of
getting artwork done for this kit and
I'm still working on the kit which will
probably eventually get leaked at some
point but you know I'm just doing all
these things to build my brand and and I
don't really have a schedule so I feel
like some good things have come out of
me just being spontaneous but I feel
like a lot of good things will happen
more consistently if I was more
organized with my schedule and actually
had a formulas way of doing things not a
robotic way of course but just okay at
this time I'm going to do this and at
this time I'm gonna do that no matter
how I do it it's just about getting it
done and actually doing it so what's
helped me a lot and my biggest advice to
anybody watching this video that
probably has the same issue is to slowly
chip away at things like with this
podcast or whatever you want to call it
commentary Channel thing I've been
planning it for about a month now
chipping away little by little at the
voice lines chopping the voice lines up
trying to perfect them obviously they're
not going to be perfect on my first
video but it is what it is and you can
only get better so when you're trying
new things don't be so hard on yourself
because it does take time to get good at
them that's just how it is so to wrap up
my point I feel like the main two
solutions to being lazy and having
better time management is to slowly chip
away at things and be patient you may
feel overwhelmed but as long as you're
doing at least one thing a day something
small that contributes to your main goal
the closest you get to it and the more
you practice the more efficient you get
at it which ultimately means you could
take more steps every day not just one
but it all starts with just taking the
first step so yes I'm on my YouTuber
stuff if y'all like the video like
comment and subscribe sorry if the audio
quality was changing throughout the
video like I said I was chipping away at
this video and I was just in the process
of moving while recording this uh
commentary video so I really wanted to
just get it done I'm like settled now at
my new place and uh yeah I'm just ready
to get consistent with this I really
enjoy these types of videos
um I will have a upload schedule
somewhere soon I don't know uh be on the
lookout for Max von and Oz one shot kid
I don't know when that's dropping but
we're dating they're done with that
um probably by the time this video is
uploaded we're gonna have the artwork
done for it so be on the lookout I will
be hyping that up and um I hope you guys
enjoy your days man I hope you guys took
away something from this video I feel
like this video is mostly me sharing my
personal experiences but I'll try to
keep it more General unless you guys
like those uh stories that I tell but
other than that um yeah hopefully this
video was good I don't want to make it
too long and you know I'm on my YouTuber
timing so just like comment and
subscribe if you rock with the video you
feel me I don't know
