Transcripts
right so 4 days ago I landed my first
ever paying copyrighting client and a
lot of people so I made a video it's my
biggest video so far a lot of people
were asking me please make a follow-up
video on how you actually got your
client so this is the video here I'm
going to talk about exactly what I did
to make my client not to make my client
to get my
client but the thing about this video is
I just want to keep it as simple as
possible I don't want to make it
complicated I don't want to talk about
what I heard other people do or what
this Guru does and what just going to
talk about what I did okay I'm not going
to talk about other meth just this is
what I did okay so and I'm not going to
make a complicated video I thought about
doing like a loom video but I'm just
going to explain why I did cuz it was
very simple I don't need to like have
all the extra stuff in the background so
it's going to be so simple I know a lot
of you really really want to like this
magical answer but this is what I did
step by step okay now okay there's a lot
of other Outreach message you can do I
know you can even do things like cod
calling you can do Cod emailing you can
do you can go on Facebook groups you can
go on upw work you can go on all these
different websites but I did Instagram
code
Outreach Instagram Cod Outreach a lot of
people asking me where did I find my
client where did I reach out to my
client
did I do email did I call call him no
Instagram how did I find him on
Instagram okay so you go on Instagram so
I went on Instagram you go on to the
search search tab whatever Niche you're
looking for and I already know what
people going to say what's the best
Niche to look for I don't really know
I'm I'm I lean towards make money online
Niche more specifically coaches so what
you going to do you're going to go on
Instagram you're going to search for
coaches that help people make money now
that could be a Drop Shipping Co Drop
Shipping coach could be Amazon FBA coach
it could be a real estate wholesale
coach whatever it is you're going to
type these these phrases these keywords
in and then you should get a bunch of
coaches well you will you will get a ton
of coaches what you're going to do is
before you reach out to them and you
don't want to make this mistake go on
their profile you to see how many
followers they have now it doesn't have
to be huge cuz I know people asking me
how big is my not Creator how big is my
client my client has over 15K I think he
has around 16k something like that
followers and then okay you're going to
see like their engagement their videos
and stuff but the main thing that you
want to do is you want to click on the
link on their bio so when you click on
their link on the bio and if they don't
have a link in their bio then I don't
reach out to them cuz they they don't
have a website they're not sell selling
anything so you click on the link me I
am an email copywriter I know that I do
help I can help with vssl and sales
pages but primarily I email right so I
click on the link and I want to see that
they have some type of newsletter or
email list so how do I know this so you
go on the link they're going to take
them to their website now some of these
people it takes it takes you straight
straight over to an email
popup form where you go put your email
and name in some of these some of these
websites that you go on Ling Pages just
scroll all the way to the bottom at the
bottom of the I think it's called the
photo you'll find the emails and then
once I see that I know that they have an
email list okay
so I know they have the email list I see
they have a good following and it's and
their Their audience is engaged now
that's a that's a lead for me to reach
out to so with the DM now I know this is
the biggest part what is the what's the
magical DM that you sent right I want
okay first of all the first DM that I
sent to him was Hey and I made a video
before like roasting people that say Hey
as the first DM so that was actually a
really
trash way of reaching out to him on my
part I said hey he did not respond to to
it of course and I responded to his
story so okay before you even send a DM
okay this is this should be common
knowledge but you're going to follow
them you're going to like at least three
of their pictures you're going to
comment and not just like oh fire Emoji
no watch the video listen to the video
and comment like you actually watch the
video cuz you just did okay something
that they said put in there some you
know like make a genuine comment and
watch their story if they have 10 story
posts like I will spam them like I will
like every single one of them and you
can like fire Emoji to one of them or
like respond to one of them and that's
what I did to this guy I swiped up I
liked all of them and then I'll normally
reply to the last one because the last
one will show up longer so I replied I
said hey terrible DM like 4 days went by
he did not respond to it of course and
then I followed up with him this is
where a lot of you guys and what I was
doing was like I'll send a bunch of DMS
but I will not follow up and that was a
huge mistake on my part make sure you're
following up the only reason why I
managed to sign this guy and get paid is
because I followed up and my first DM
was terrible it was hate so you're going
to ask me what was the followup even
though I put the screenshot on the thing
on my video the one that went not vir
but the the the big video video the
followup was are you looking for a
copyrighter now I know a lot lot of you
will be like gosh that was a terrible DM
how did that work I don't really know I
I that's the that's why I sent him the
reason why I did that is
because as a person that gets a lot of
DMS from video editors thumbnail editors
like all of these different editors I
know a lot of people teach you to like
do like this curiosity like you should
like tease them and be like hey I can
make you an extra some something if you
reply to me like I'm sick and tired of
those like I'm jaded when it comes to
those and for me I'm always like okay
just tell me what it is you're trying to
like sell me or tell me what the service
is straight away okay so that's what
that's what I did with him I just said
hey you're looking for a copyright
straight to the point all you looking
for a copyright now an hour later he
responds to me he's like hey possibly
and then from there we started speaking
he asked
me I didn't put email copyright in there
which was a mistake on my part so he
asked me what type of copy do you do I
sent him a voice note just
saying hey I I do all types of copy
really but I primarily help my clients
with email copy and he was like okay
yeah that's actually what I need I need
email copy and then just a little
gem I like to actually send voice notes
just because I think it helps build the
connection faster and you know more
human like instead of just like texting
so I sent it over to him real quick
super chilled and then he was like okay
yeah I need emails and then yeah we
started talking at then we managed to
set up the call so I've spoke about this
so many times I'm going to speak about
another time because there so many of
you even the ones that were asking me to
make this video I was clicking on your
account and I was like bro please tell
me your outreaching with this account
and they're like yeah this the no
profile picture no no no nothing on
their feed no stories no highlights 25
followers who's going to reply to that
guys please this is the biggest thing
guys make sure your profile is optimized
just make it look like a normal human
being don't have to be super
professional it don't have to have crazy
editing but don't look like a bot how do
you not have a profile picture how do
you not have how do you not have not a
single picture of you on your profile no
one's going to reply to that that's the
biggest thing you can have the best DM
ever they're going to go on it they're
going to be like wait it's a blank
screen let's know who who is this who is
this I see some of you you you try and
do like the faceless account thing where
it's like you have a ton of content on
there but it's like AI or it's like ca
screenshots which okay I'll like I I'll
go through some of your purs and some of
them are valuable but at the same time
it's it's who is this person I'm
speaking to you know what I'm saying I
just think in my opinion if you look at
my account it will be the it will be the
account it'll be in the description RoR
D RC not the the other one's my personal
one but yeah that one I'm giving out
value but I'm like I'm just speaking
it's just me and my Goden speaking so
and now I'm even starting to like post
just normal content like I went for 5K
run yesterday I'm going to put that on
there just so that they know okay this
this Razer guy is a real person okay I
know I can see his face okay I've heard
his voice give value that's another
thing as well guys giv value so a lot of
you don't have clients that you can you
know talk about but like I said if you
if you've learned how to if you've
learned like a new technique with
copyrighting make make a short video
about it make a real post it if you've
learned how to make your CTA B make a
video on it post it if you learned how
to do this post it just so that okay you
don't have no clients but they can see
oh okay he knows how to write the cth he
knows how to go through like he knows
how to structure his emails he knows how
to do this and that okay if I want to
work with him he knows how to do all the
all that stuff I've watched his videos
okay cool yeah let's let's have a call
I'm interested instead of you you just
cuz think about it when you send a DM to
someone and you say hey I want to like
write copy for you or something like
that or even for you even For You video
editors that reach out to me and other
YouTubers I check out your profile and I
want to see what videos have you post
what videos have you edited if you're
copyright I want to go on your profile
and
see like like can you actually do the
thing that you're talking about like and
that's why it's important that I think
think you put the value out there so
that they can see okay he does know what
he's talking about and if you do have
case studies then you can go the extra
step which I did making a onepage
website but my client didn't even look
at that website so that is just extra
stuff I don't even think you really need
it it's just it's just there for you you
know you might get one of those clients
that want to see a pro like want to see
a website or something I just put it
there but honestly I don't think you
need it so
yeah guys those those are all the that's
how I did it Instagram
Outreach make sure your profile it looks
like a normal human being I'll defin put
your face in there give value out make a
short video just just make videos
talking about what you know like now
that I've learned some new things I'm
going to I'm going to make more videos
I'm going to post it on my on my well
post on his channel but then I'll also
post it on Instagram cuz I'm going to be
reaching out to people and you know
they're going to they're going to see it
and they're going to know I'm a real
person and they're going to see that I
know what I'm talking about so yeah real
simple guys don't over complicate it I'd
say try and stick to one thing I've
tried all the different ones I've tried
to reach out to people on LinkedIn I've
tried to do emails I've tried to do I I
I even did one code call one time I've
tried all of them I'd say you know
apparently all of them work but I'd say
just stick to one of them I chose
Instagram cuz I think that's the best
place for me to you know that's the best
place for me to to reach out to someone
and actually get the attention don't
forget about the follow-ups that's
something that I was messing up on I
would just send out a bunch of DMS but
never following up with this with no one
oh and another thing I reached out to
150 to 200 people before I got my
copyright
client now cuz some of you will reach
out to like 10 people and not get a
response and then be like oh it doesn't
work what's
happening it's really is a numbers game
guys it really is a numbers game and it
took me like 150 to 200 it might take
you way more might take you way less it
just carry on going
cuz like there's another like 150 people
I did this with and I didn't get the
client so just remember that as well so
I think I've answered everything on here
yeah this video is about how to get
clients and that's how I got my client
so don't over complicate make sure
you're following up make sure your
profile looks clean
and yeah I did on Instagram I think
Instagram is the best place to get get
get clients so I hope this video has
helped one person if I've missed
anything out okay you put it in the
comments or give me a DM or something
like that but stop over complicating it
cuz some of the questions I'm getting
about this I'm like this don't even like
you don't even have to worry about that
stuff but yeah hope this video has
helped someone out
and yeah that's about it guys good luck
with the Outreach and catch you guys on
the next video peace
