hypnotherapist and this hypnotherapy
session will help you to be free from
social anxiety so take a moment to make
sure that you are comfortable sitting or
laying back comfortably turn all
distractions off and remember to never
listen to this while driving or
operating any kind of machinery your
eyes will be closed and you will be
going within so as you already now take
a nice big deep breath in filling right
up and as you exhale let your eyelids
close down take another nice big deep
breath in and as you exhale let your
whole body go
one more nice big deep breath and
breathing in and as you exhale imagine
all of the muscles in your body letting
go like elastic bands being released and
now as we begin today you allow it to be
a pleasure to just turn the whole
outside world off and to go within you
will be aware to whatever is important
undisturbed by the unimportant so let's
take a moment now to become grounded and
centered to help bring our awareness and
work so I want you to imagine that
you're standing in the middle of an
empty room a pleasant room and begin now
to think about your energy flowing all
the way up to that wall in front of you
and now you bring it back guide your
energy back to the center of your body
to the wall on the right now all the way
to the wall on the right and again you
bring it back back to the center of your
body behind you now let the energy just
flow back behind you and again you bring
it back to the center of your body to
the left of you now let the energy flow
all the way to the wall in left and
again you bring it back back to the
center of your body down now to the
ground beneath your feet
just pull the energy back up to the
center of your body
let it flow all the way up to the
ceiling above you know you bring it back
down down down to the center of your
body
and you just bring your awareness back
to your breathing now just observing
your body breathing slow deep and
rhythmic all on its own as you begin to
let go in your body bring your awareness
to the muscles throughout your face let
them become soft and smooth wonderfully
relaxed feel your forehead smooth but
your eyelids become so relaxed they feel
like they are glued shut locked shot let
that feeling flow right down through
your cheeks into your jaw release any
tension being held within your jaw your
neck your shoulders just think about all
of those muscles letting go like elastic
bands being released
think about your arm so wonderfully
relaxed now every muscle every fiber
even the cells and your arms are
relaxing and you just let go as you
begin to allow your body to enter into a
nice deep state of body sleep your body
does this every night when you go to bed
it falls asleep before your mind so you
just let go in your body but all of the
muscles throughout your back and your
chest and your abdominal area oh really
feel your upper body getting heavier and
heavier or lighter and lighter whatever
you feel is perfect for you you're
breathing remained slow deep and
rhythmic a tingling feeling they come
and go most often in the hands you just
observe any feelings any sensations as
they come upon you think now about this
feeling flowing down through the legs
right down past the knees through the
ankles of the soles of the feet
what would it feel like if even the
bones and your legs were relaxing you
just let go deep I'm deeper into this
deep state of relaxation
you stay focused on the sound of my
voice listening only to the sound my
voice as a guide you deeper and deeper
into a wonderful deep state now I want
you to use your imagination even more
powerfully and I want you to imagine
that you are standing at the top of a
small set of stairs on a beautiful beach
just be there in your mind if you can't
fully visualize it
don't try harder just think about it the
images usually will come so just imagine
this beautiful beach and you're standing
at the top of a small set of stairs that
lead down to this beach you have it all
to yourself
and you have all the time in the world
and I want you to imagine that there are
five stairs that take you down to the
speech and in a moment you're going to
begin to make your way down those stairs
one step at a time
and with each step you take you sink
deep or in deep or into the peas into
the column into this image
so looking down those stairs to really
get that looking down feeling in your
mind noticing what your stairs look like
what they're made of looking down at
your feet now putting your hands on the
railings if there is one and stepping
down and just step number five now feel
your feet on that step as you let go
more and more
nobody's wanting or needing anything
from you right now and you just let go
you just let go into this wonderful
feeling stepping down and to step number
four now sinking deeper and deeper into
the piece into the car stepping down and
to step number three you just that go
even more now deep arm deeper down
floating and drifting
maybe
maybe you begin to feel as though you
are getting heavier and heavier
you just observe as you let go stepping
down add a step number to feel your feet
on that step see your feet on that step
as you let go even more stepping down
and just up number one now the last stop
in a moment you're going to step down
onto the ground finding yourself
standing on this beautiful beach and you
do that now stepping down now feel your
feet on the ground and the sand
walk over towards the water to the
water's edge you look out at the horizon
the sky in the water meet
and you just like go into the scene it's
a beautiful day just as you like it and
you have all the time in the world to
just enjoy this place
and I want you to notice there in the
sand just off in the distance a trunk an
old trunk kind of like a pirate's chest
feeling curious you walk over to it and
as you get closer you can tell that it's
old and worn but it's been there for a
long time
I'm standing right in front of it now I
want you to prop the lid of that trunk
open
and now as you do I want you to think
about the feelings that you get when you
think about being in a social setting
when you think about being around other
people I want you to think about the
feeling that comes up for you so many
different reasons why people feel
anxious when they are in social settings
fears or worries about what other people
think what other people say or do other
people's perceptions fears and worries
about being elect or how they will be
perceived so many things in our mind
that we hold on to that prevent us from
just being able to just relax and be
free and be ourselves and as you are
thinking about these feelings these
feelings that get this fear that becomes
created inside of you I want you to
think about all of the reasons that you
feel this feeling things like I just
mentioned like worrying about what other
people think about you what they will
say or do how other people perceive you
fears about making a fool out of
yourself or being embarrassed worries
about being able to hold a conversation
or what you will say but I want you to
take all of those fears and those self
doubts your perceptions of how you think
other people view you other people's
opinions and judgments and expectations
I want you to take all of these things
all of these things that create this
uncomfortable feeling inside of you and
I want you to put them all into that
trunk now you can do this you can do it
as thoughts as feelings as objects you
can imagine pulling it out of your body
off of your body maybe you even imagine
that you're carrying it around in a bag
in a backpack on your back it doesn't
matter how you do it all that matters is
right now right here in this moment
you free yourself from these things you
free yourself from what other people
think other people's perceptions and
judgments and expectations remove that
from your body from your mind and you
put it in the trunk your perceptions of
how you think people see you you put
that in the trunk your fears and worries
about things going wrong you put that in
the trunk anything that you know you're
holding on to anything that you know you
fear or worry about that creates this
feeling of anxiousness that's an anxiety
you put it all in the trunk put the
social anxiety in the trunk you can do
this and you do it now
so by now you should have it all in the
trunk and I want you to close the lid of
that trunk just close it and you'll see
there down on the ground there's a lock
it's an unusual lock it doesn't have a
combination or a keyhole you're going to
use that to lock up the trunk lock it up
now and lock everything up that's inside
it and you can even get rid of this
trunk if you want you can push it into
the ocean burry it in the sand you can
even use it to create a beautiful beach
bonfire whatever feels right for you but
take this moment to really let these
things go to make this to commitment to
yourself that you are no longer holding
on to these things any longer you are
choosing to be free
because you understand that you cannot
control what happens outside of you but
the one thing that you can control is
your mind what you think about what you
focus on you can change your perception
you get to be the one who decides what
you hold on to and what you let go of
and in this moment you feel so good so
proud of your commitment to let go of
these things and now you just walk away
just walk away just walk back to that
beautiful beach the feeling lighter
feeling freer feeling even more at peace
you
can you look out at the horizon again
and as you do you see they're flying
soaring in the sky a beautiful bird the
most beautiful bird you have ever seen
just flying and soaring effortlessly
through the sky so free and alive and
because your imagination is limitless
you give yourself wings and you fly with
it you fly with it to enjoy this feeling
of being free free to fully accept
yourself you just fly and as you do you
relax even more deeply completely in
every way you just let yourself sink
deeper in deep becoming more relaxed and
you've ever felt before so that all the
suggestions I give you take complete and
thorough effect upon the deepest part of
your mind you experience a feeling of
letting go completely and all of the
suggestions seal themselves into the
deepest part of your subconscious mind
never to be removed because from this
moment on you find yourself more relaxed
whenever you are in the presence of
other people whether it is a small group
of people or a large group of people
whether they are friends or strangers
whether it is at work or social
gathering at home or outside of your
home's from this moment on you're
fearless when speaking in front of other
people you are always able to express
yourself easily and confidently you are
able to speak with confidence with
intelligence and humor when appropriate
you find that your conversations they
flow easily and you enjoy talking to
people about any subject that arises
from this moment on you are able to meet
people on equal terms without the
slightest feeling of inferiority or fear
you are so deeply interested so absorbed
in what you are saying that you become
completely focused on the conversation
to the complete exclusion of everything
else and you always remain perfectly
calm self confident and self-assured
when you are with other people whether
it has to do with business or pleasure
whether it is one-on-one or in a group
when you are with other people you
become much less conscious of yourself
of your own feelings and you find that
you are able to talk freely and
naturally feeling safe and secure and if
you should begin to think of yourself
you immediately shift your attention
back to the conversation remaining calm
confident self-assured at all times and
you find that you get on better with
people you gain their respect easily
because you are a good listener and
because you are such a good listener
this allows you to speak with
intelligence and confidence you love to
laugh with people you know that humor is
a wonderful way to communicate humor
allows us to feel happy and content
knowing that you can communicate easily
with all people from all walks of life
as you draw upon your experiences of
your life to make the conversations

feeling light or feeling free or feeling
better or feeling happy or more
