Q & A
What is considered a popular investment instrument historically?
-Gold has been a popular investment instrument historically, often held by previous generations.
Why do some people advise against investing in stocks according to the script?
-Some people advise against investing in stocks due to the high risk of loss, citing personal experiences of friends and family who have gone bankrupt due to stock investments.
What is the historical price increase of gold in Indonesia from the perspective of the script?
-The script mentions that the price of gold in Indonesia has been consistently rising, with a 70.45% increase from 10 years ago when it was 572,000 rupiah per gram to 975,000 rupiah per gram as of August 18, 2022.
How does the ease of buying gold contribute to its popularity as an investment?
-The ease of buying gold, both in physical markets and online, contributes to its popularity as an investment. It is readily available in gold shops and can be easily stored and liquidated if needed.
What is the main argument presented in the script about the long-term benefits of investing in stocks versus gold?
-The script argues that stocks are more profitable in the long term compared to gold, despite generally having higher risks. Stocks from well-performing companies can offer significant returns over time, while gold is considered a low-risk investment with steady value appreciation.
How does the script differentiate between the risks of investing in gold and stocks over different time horizons?
-The script differentiates by stating that while both gold and stocks can be high-risk investments in the short term, stocks become a low-risk investment in the long term, especially if they are from well-performing companies. Why does the script suggest that gold is not an investment but rather a value preservation tool?
-The script suggests that gold is not an investment because it does not produce any returns or dividends like stocks do. Instead, it preserves value by maintaining its purchasing power over time, which is especially important in the face of inflation.
What are the two ways in which stocks can generate profits according to the script?
-The script mentions that stocks can generate profits through capital gains, which is the difference between the buying and selling price, and dividends, which are a portion of the company's net profits distributed to shareholders.
How does the script illustrate the potential long-term gains from investing in Bank BCA's stock compared to gold?
-The script illustrates this by providing an example where an investment of 13 million rupiah in Bank BCA's stock 10 years ago would have grown to 60 million rupiah, including both capital gains and dividends, compared to a 9.1 million rupiah gain from investing in gold.
What advice does the script give regarding the purchase of gold and stocks?
-The script advises that while there is nothing wrong with buying gold as a value preservation tool, it is also important to educate oneself about other investment instruments like stocks, especially those from well-performing companies, for potentially higher long-term returns.

This section compares the risks associated with investing in gold and stocks over different time horizons. It points out that while gold is considered a low-risk investment, its short-term price can still fluctuate significantly. Conversely, stocks, despite being seen as high-risk in the short term, can become a low-risk investment over the long term, especially if they are from well-performing companies. Transcripts
“Janganlah main main saham, rugi, temen mama temen papa
banyak yang bangkrut gara-gara saham!"
Yaaaa pernyataan mereka nggak salah sih,
untuk beli emas kalau punya uang lebih.
Kenapa nggak salah? Karena memang nggak ada ruginya beli emas.
Harga emas di Indonesia itu naik terus.
Seandainya lo 10 tahun lalu beli emas
harganya itu cuman 572ribu per satu gram,
sekarang berapa per satu gram nya?
Udah bukan 572 ribu lagi, tapi udah jadi 975 ribu per gram
di 18 Agustus 2022.
Alias udah naik 70,45%.
Nah gue jadi inget nih,
Pertama kali gue mulai melek tentang investasi,
Dimana mana diajarinnya pasti begitu.
Tapi dua-duanya dalam jangka pendek risikonya jadi tinggi,
bahkan sangat tinggi.
Nih, misalnya saham Bank BCA.
Di video terakhir gue,
udah gue jabarin kenapa perusahaan Bank BCA
kinerja perusahaannya bagus banget,
“Katanya Bank BCA kinerjanya bagus"
"sahamnya pasti oke."
"Buktinya apa?"
"Nih gue rugi doang kerjaannya"
"udah hold 4 bulan masih mines, bagus darimana??”
misalnya 5 tahun deh.
Risikonya berubah dari risiko sangat tinggi, menjadi risiko rendah,
bahkan sangat rendah.
Nah, kalau emas gimana?
Bukannya kata orang-orang rendah ya risikonya?
Betul rendah, tapi kalau lo beli emas dengan tujuan jangka pendek
risikonya akan jadi tinggi.
Kenapa begitu?
bukan 1 juta rupiah lagi.
Sayang banget aja gitu,
ngapain beli berlebihan.
udah bukan 13 juta lagi.
Melainkan udah jadi 22.13 juta rupiah.
Gitu…
Beli emas, disimpan selama 10 tahun dapet untung bersih 70.45%
Lumayan kan,
kalau dirata-ratakan keuntungan setiap tahunnya adalah 5.48%,
masih lumayan! Masih diatas inflasi!
Nah sekarang skenario ke-3,
kalau dibelikan saham. Jadi gimana nih?
Artinya apa?
Setiap kali terjadi krisis ekonomi,
misalnya kayak kemarin nih pas awal pandemi covid,
semua saham itu turun,
gak terkecuali saham Bank.
Gak butuh waktu lama, kira kira cuma butuh setahun,
harga sahamnya udah kembali ke posisinya lagi
seperti saat sebelum pandemi.
Nah! Krisis ekonomi tahun 2008 juga gitu,
Bank BCA sempet turun 34%,
tapi sekarang gimana?
Udah naik >1500% alias
naik 15-16x lipat
Makanya gue bikin video kemarin tuh,
disana gue jelasin
“Kenapa nabung saham bank BCA cocok untuk pemula”
Kalau udah yakin, baru beli.
Kalau nggak yakin, ya ngapain dibeli.
Lo harus bijak! Uang lo adalah tanggung jawab masing-masing!
Oke?
Lanjut!
Seandainya 13 juta rupiah tadi dibelikan saham Bank BCA
lo akan dapet 7500 lembar saham Bank BCA!
Ngomong-ngomong,
1 lot nya masih 500 lembar.
jadi enam puluh juta rupiah.
Iya, lo nggak salah denger.
60 juta rupiah!
Kenapa bisa jadi 60 juta?
Karena 1 lembar saham Bank BCA,
saat ini harganya bukan lagi Rp1,610 per lembarnya.
Melainkan udah jadi Rp8,000 per lembar.
Nah! 7500 lembar dikali Rp8,000
yaa hasilnya adalah 60 juta rupiah.
Dari 12 juta 75 ribu, jadi 60 juta,
berarti kalau lo jual 7500 lembar saham Bank BCA itu,
maka lo akan dapet selisih keuntungan bersih
47,9 juta rupiah
Lumayan banget kan? Hehe
alias sebagian laba bersih
Membeli saham artinya kita membeli kepemilikan dari perusahaan.
Ya kan?
Ketika kita adalah pemilik dari perusahaan,
kita berhak dong atas sebagian laba bersih
yang diperoleh perusahaan.
Yang dinamakan sebagai dividen.
Bank BCA, selama 2012-2022 sekarang,
kan setiap tahunnya BCA ini menghasilkan keuntungan bersih
alias laba bersih.
Gede lagi labanya.
Berarti 1 lembar saham Bank BCA berhak atas
dividen 23 rupiah.
Naaah
karena lo punya 7500 lembar, berarti lo berhak atas keuntungan
171.750 rupiah yang dibagikan di tahun 2013.
Adilkaan?
Oke.. langsung aja nih gue tampilkan besaran dividen
tiap 1 lembarnya dari tahun 2012-2022.
Tahun 2013 lo berhak atas dividen 171 ribu rupiah
Tahun 2014 180 ribu rupiah
2015 222 ribu rupiah
Teruuuuus bisa lo liat sendiri nih ya
sampai ke tahun 2022 lo berhak atas dividen 1 juta 87 ribu rupiah.
Dan setelah ditotal-total dari tahun 2012-2022, lo udah
mendapatkan dividen 4,4 juta rupiah.
meningkat jadi 60 juta rupiah.
Sepuluh tahun kemudian nilainya jadi 22 juta rupiah.
Emasnya sama-sama 22.7 gram.
Tapi nilainya berbeda.
Yang tadinya 13 juta, sekarang nilainya 22 juta.
Nah..
Sedangkan emas cenderung nilainya naik mengikuti infasi.
Gitu..
Jadi walaupun emas bukanlah investasi, tapi menurut gue pribadi,
nggak ada salahnya untuk beli emas.
Sambil sekalian kita belajar tentang instrumen investasi
sesederhana, laba bersih Astra memang
Belum tentu, harga sahamnya memang turun banyak, tapi dividen
Alasan kenapa sahamnya turun mungkin sesederhana laba bersihnya
orang orang jadi sadar tentang pentingnya kesehatan hehehe.
Terutama kesehatan paru-paru ya.
Sampoerna, diharga sekarang menurut gue sangat menarik.
setelah melakukan investasi pertama kali.
