hi guys this is ranjit and in this video
i'm going to talk about my favorite twss
that i have used
in the last one here and these are the
tws's that i have liked and these are
the ones that i have been using on and
off but none of them are actually
perfect so in this video let me break
down what do i like about them what do i
do not like about them and the four are
the sony uh xm4s are the airpods pro the
this is the oldest that i have almost
about one and a half years old uh the
jbl elite seven pro and the pixel bats a
uh only one in this one that i wished i
had also tested were the uh sennheiser
momentum sadly i haven't tested them so
i can't talk about them and guys these
are my long-term impressions these are
not just one week usage or something
i've used all of them for several months
on and off so in this video we'll divide
it what do i feel about them i will
divide it between the comfort the
microphone quality the sound quality uh
if there is any app and what are the
features how customizable the sound
signature is active noise cancellation
how good it is and stability also
and again these are the pricing of these
ones as of now on second june uh i've
taken it from amazon these three were on
amazon and this was on flipkart so let's
dive down and first let's talk about
comfort and guys i'll also start rating
them and the maximum rating will be 10
and the lowest of of course would be one
so let's talk about the first the sony
xm force in terms of comfort and guys if
you know you have seen my full in-depth
review again i have done the review for
all of these i'll leave the links in the
description
in comfort as i've told in even my
initial review these are simply not that
comfortable now i have changed the ear
tips uh i had extra pair of ear tips
from jabra these are slightly more
comfortable
but still i would say after about 30-35
minutes these get uncomfortable to me so
much uncomfortable that i just remove
them
so in terms of comfort i would say the
sony are the poorest to me and i have
tried everything with this
next coming to the airports pro oh my
god i have to say these are fabulous in
terms of comfort you can just wear them
for hours and hours and you don't even
realize
so these are sort of the one of the most
comfortables i would say in this and in
this uh
all out of this this is this just gets a
10 antenna on for in terms of comfort
now talking about the jbl light pro
these are the jbl lights and these are
also actually very very comfortable and
very very light
uh these are excellent and that is the
thing that i liked about them the
comfort factor that we have on this one
so these are also super super
comfortable and if i have to rate this
one i would rate them in terms of
comfort about nine out of 10.
now coming to the pixel buds uh which
are the most affordable in this range
and i have to say in terms of comfort
google got this one also very very right
and
these are also super super comfortable
in fact i would say this i would rate it
9.5 out of 10 in terms of comfort so
that is regarding the comfort and guys
trust me comfort is important factor if
you wear the tda dws for a long time
continuously for more than 45 or 15
minutes they have to be comfortable okay
now let's talk about the microphone
quality i guess we'll come back to the
sound that's very that's very important
but let's talk about the microphone
quality because these days uh uh most of
our what do you say smartphones sir
don't have uh what do you say 3.5 mm
headphone jack so we're using this and
we take calls with this one even video
calls etc zoom calls office work also
we're doing so microphone quality is
very important here i would say let's
again start with the sony xm4s
here the xm4s have definitely improved
compared to the xm3s
but if i have to rate this one in terms
of microphone quality i would give it a
6.5 out of 10.
now coming to the airports pro in terms
of microphone quality pickup and
everything again apple has done a
fabulous job airpods are known for that
and no exception in this one this again
gets a 10 on 10 in terms of the
microphone quality that we are getting
uh the jbl's also are very good in terms
of microphone i would say uh these also
perform much much much better than what
i expected and these uh actually get a
rating of
again
8.75 out of ten almost nine okay you can
give it nine let's give it a nine and
again uh the pixel buds also do not
disappoint in terms of microphone though
don't have any fancy stuff like anc but
the call quality that you get on this
one is excellent and in fact i gave it
to my daughter and she takes some very
very long call these teenagers order rs
and ours and she never complains about
the microphone quality so the microphone
quality on this one is again nine out of
ten now coming to the sound quality
which is again a very very important
thing personally to me if you're buying
these expensive twss how is the sound
quality is super funny let's start with
the sony xm4 and i have to say man
this blew me away in terms of sound
quality this is the best ews in terms of
sound quality period this for me gets a
10 or 10 in terms of sound quality the
sound quality is so good though that
these are uncomfortable in my ears after
30 minutes i pick them to listen to
music it's that good yes they get
uncomfortable after 30 minutes but the
sound quality is so good that i love it
for the sound quality it's just next
level i thought prior to getting to this
one the jbl's and the earpods were
amazing in terms of sound quality but
after hearing this one sound quality
this is the benchmark for me now so this
gets a 10 on 10. okay now moving to the
airpods pro
the airpods pro are also actually pretty
good they sound
actually very nice but again in terms of
sound quality
i would say uh this i would give it a 8
on
10. yeah some of you will be surprised
but yes this i would give it 8. 8 out of
10 but again airports pro are almost two
and a half years old now
okay coming to the jabra uh the uh
in terms of music listening experience i
was actually pretty happy with the
chakra this sound very good in fact you
can customize the sound signature as you
like very comfortable even navigation
and stuff is very very easy so in terms
of the sound quality jabra would get 8.5
out of 10. and now coming to the pixel
uh buds a
brilliant these also sound brilliant and
for the price
they are of just about eight thousand
almost less than half compared to all of
these
this also gets a solid
9 out of 10 for me now let's move to the
apps and customization that is offered
uh with each one of them how how can you
tweak the sound signature or
various parameters like customizing the
buttons etc what you can do
i would say here again
the sony and the jbl are the best i
would give the sony 10 on 10 on this one
airports i would say very very limited
amount of what do you say customization
that you can do
if you have a iphone yes you can do a
little bit of that but just not that
much in fact you don't have too many
sound profiles or whatever eq
and all these things very little
customization so airpods gets a 4 out of
10 for me
again jabra light uh these also have a
fabulous app very easy to use and you
can customize everything the eq you can
as customize you can customize what the
buttons do and everything so this also
is a 10 on 10 on me and pixel pads again
the app is there it is a very very basic
kind of an app a bass boost you can
switch on and off and just basic stuff
so this also just gets about 4 out of 10
to me
now coming to active noise cancellation
here again i was surprised
because uh my benchmark for tws was the
airports pro the
uh
active noise cancellation is just next
level on that one but
after listening to these sonys
wf
1000xm4 now this is my benchmark for
active noise cancellation
you switch on the active noise
cancellation you can adjust also how
much level you want when you keep it on
max it's like a vacuum
it's it's so good
so this is my new benchmark for active
noise cancellation it gets a 10 on 10
for me
next is the airpods
and these i would say active noise
cancellation is still excellent on this
one this i would rate it 9 out of 10.
and coming to the jbl uh 7 pro yes it
does have anc but the active noise
cancellation is strictly average on this
one compared to others so i would rate
this one for the price six out of ten
and pixel of course it does not have any
active noise cancellation but the seal
is actually pretty good so this is not
applicable so this does not have active
noise cancellation okay now coming to
the stability how was the bluetooth
connection was it disconnecting and all
those things here in sony i've tested it
with about six or seven devices some
tablets also yeah so about eight devices
i've tested this one and i did not have
any bluetooth issues or let's say one uh
sound is only coming from one earbud or
something like that so again here no
issues again an airpods that was the
same case no issues in terms of
connectivity or whatever i tried it with
android phones also iphones also android
tablets also connectivity once you
connect it's stable no issues
here with the jbl i have a problem in
some time and this does not happen every
time i use the jbl quite a bit but these
are very small and uh these are what you
say are sweat resistant so for morning
walks and i was using this
and it doesn't and perhaps decent
connectivity for the most of the part
but sometimes every week for some random
reason for the same device that it
connected let's say in morning without
any issue when you pull on both the buds
only one but the sound will come from
the other it will not come
and
it will get fixed automatically you have
to put it back two three times i'm just
kidding so i think stability is a
problem on this one sometimes it's not
always and i feel jbl also pushes out
update very fast every 20 25 days i was
getting the update and sometimes the
connectivity became better sometimes it
went sourced updates i think so instead
of releasing so many updates they should
release one good update so stability
here i would get with a seven out of 10.
coming to the pixel buds
these are given to my daughter i was
using it and she says this is very very
good but recently now she has actually
used it for quite some time
she says that sometimes one of the buds
does not sound it just started happening
now but she has used it and daily she
uses for six seven hours uh so here
again i would say nine i didn't
experience it i tested it again for one
and a half hours just prior to making
this video i did not have an issue but
see told sometimes now it just started
happening
uh and how did they age okay this is my
airpods pro are the oldest one and a
half years sadly now the case is
becoming slightly yellowish i would say
uh the these pixel buds
they did not change the color uh again
these are pretty new just about two and
a half months so can't completely tell
you but
they have done well and this also
i am not noticing any degradation
overall surprisingly with the airpods
pro
the white is becoming slightly yellowish
so guys these were my ratings for this
one and price as i've told you uh the
sonys are for about 20 000
surprisingly the airpods pro the price
has increased when i had purchased it
about one and a half years ago it i
purchased it for 22 000 on amazon today
i would check it's 25 000. i don't know
what's wrong with apple
uh
the uh the jbl light 7 pro is for 17 000
and the pixel buds a uh when it launched
i think it was 9 500 now it's about 8
000. so if you're on a very tight budget
and you don't care about the anc still i
would say the pixel buds a just rock
they sound amazing for the price and
very good but here are the other ones
and again it depends on
what is the highest criteria to you
still i would say
uh i love the x04 it's a love and hate
relationship that i have with the xm4s i
love the sound on this one in fact when
i traveled to go up i traveled for about
five days i had taken this one
and i was using it on the airline with a
and c but after 45 minutes
it started to pain so much in my ear
that i had to remove it so i love this
for the sound quality that i get on it's
unmatched it just pumps me up when i'm
listening to music too it it it takes
you to a new level that good it is but i
simply can't wear it for more than 40-45
minutes and this is after changing all
the tips and everything i've done
so
that way i would say my biggest
compromise for this one is the comfort
and microphone quality is not as good as
the airpods pro
so when i went to dubai just about a
month ago
instead of carrying this xm4s i carried
this one because i knew the dubai flight
will be for about four hours and this
will get uncomfortable though this has
better anc after 45 minutes so sadly i
went with this one but i did miss the
music quality that i was getting on the
xm4 so it's sort of a love and hate
relationship that i have with the xm4 uh
as as you can see it gets a 10 in a lot
of areas but my biggest problem is i
don't even care about the microphone
quality it's acceptable it's not like
it's not acceptable my biggest problem
is the comfort of this one
ah so guys uh this was my what do you
say analysis of these four twss that i
have used quite a bit do let me know if
you like this kind of a video this is a
different kind of a video based on my
personal user experience which product i
liked and what so there is no clear
winner to me i would say in all of them
all of them have a pro and a con so it's
up to you to decide which one is better
for you anyways guys i was recording
this video with my new sony a74 i still
need to tweak of the video a little bit
and guys if you're using the sony uh a7
and using final cut do let me know i'm
having a problem i'm just recording in
the normal not this is not s log or
whatever normal picture profile and
problem what i'm having with the final
cut is that when i edit the video in
final cut the brightness and everything
is fine it looks great the colors but
when i upload it to the
youtube uh the colors become slightly
darker and the video brightness also
falls down a little bit so i'm slightly
over exposing this is a weird thing that
i've noticed and in the same video i'm
not having a problem this top shot that
you see is from the gh5 and here the
colors are not changing in the same
video so i'm also a little bit perplexed
so if you're using a sony a74 and a
final cut pro if you're facing this
color issue when you upload the final
file to youtube do let me know but do
let me know what do you feel about these
different kinds of videos do you like it
i can also do it for other stuff for
example some of the high-end tvs that
i've owned now for several years what do
i feel about them etc anyways guys
that's it for now thanks for watching
this is ranjit and i hope to see you in
my next video take care guys
