Deluxe culture is I think really really
helping for all the professionals out
here helping in all the aspects to help
you grow to help you maintain a good
life to help you maintain a good
work-life balance to help you maintain a
good health there was quite some time
back where my mom had to go through a
surgery once I just told that my mom has
has a surgery I need to take care of her
without any further questions as they
asked how they can help me I just said I
need two months time off and they
happily agree they allowed me that time
to spend with my family and they still
asked me if she's doing good or not it
shows you that somebody cares and there
is support
I always uh been putting the subject
matter and have done well uh technically
but I felt that one area I used to lack
was self-confidence when it came to
presenting My Views to clients to
leadership I remember as my first day at
the client and uh the client kept asking
a lot of difficult questions now I
actually knew what I was talking about
but before every response I would go and
talk to my manager and tell him this is
what I think we should say after the
first couple of instances he was like he
told me you probably know this better
than I do I need to go and directly talk
to the client and tell him what is the
right thing to do this really gave me a
lot of self-confidence and provided
you're willing to make that investment
and push yourself the Lord will give you
those opportunities and make sure you
get those uh opportunities to do
yourself
I'm very passionate about the diversity
equity and inclusion
um you know agendas and I have led the
growth and enablement function I've
recently joined the persons with
disability Council we've created a team
that's working on ensuring we're helping
them assimilate integrate into the
organization and also help them manage
their careers here at Deloitte we had a
conversation where we invited a
paralympic athlete from India and just
hearing her story I think it really
changes the way you look at life that's
been a very fulfilling area of work for
me it's definitely a lot of hard work
but when you're working with intelligent
people uh smart people but at the same
time people who care about your
well-being your health and are willing
to support you when you read that
support I think that resonates with me
and you've given me enough reason to
continue to stay here and uh enjoy what
I'm doing
