WAIT, Timer Res DOES WORK on Windows 10?
Summary
TLDRIn this video, the creator introduces a unique program designed to reduce kernel timer latency on Windows 10, a common issue that Windows 11 users can mitigate with the Timer Resolution tool. The program, when activated, significantly lowers latency, potentially even more than Timer Resolution does for Windows 11. To demonstrate its effectiveness, the video compares sleep measurements before and after the program's activation, showing a marked improvement. The creator also provides a direct download link in the description to ensure viewers can access the program safely, concluding with a call for likes as a show of support.
Takeaways
- 😀 The video discusses an old program that provides time or rest to Windows 10 users.
- 👍 The presenter encourages viewers to like the video before starting the tutorial.

Q & A
What is the main topic of the video?
-The main topic of the video is about an old program that reduces kernel timer latency on Windows 10, providing a solution similar to the Timer Resolution program for Windows 11.
Why does the video creator recommend leaving a like on the video?
-The video creator asks for a like as it is the easiest and biggest way to show support for their content.
What is the issue with the kernel timer latency on Windows 10?
-The kernel timer latency on Windows 10 is described as 'insanely high' without the use of the discussed program, which can affect system performance.
How does the program mentioned in the video affect kernel latency?
-When the program is turned on, it significantly reduces the kernel latency, making it lower than what Windows 11 users experience with the Timer Resolution program.
What is the name of the program used for comparison in the video?
-The program used for comparison is 'Measure Sleep' from Omit, which shows high sleep and Delta values before the main program is activated.
What is the 'Measure Sleep' program?
-The 'Measure Sleep' program is a tool used to measure sleep and Delta values, indicating the efficiency of the system's timer and rest periods.
Why is this the last video on Timer Resolution according to the video creator?
-The video creator states this will be the last video on Timer Resolution because it does not work on Windows 10, and they have found an alternative solution for Windows 10 users.
What does the video creator offer in the video description for viewers?
-The video creator offers a direct download link to the program discussed in the video in the description to avoid viewers having to search for it on potentially unreliable websites.
Is there additional information available for those interested in learning more about timer issues?
-Yes, the video creator mentions a guide to 'Amit Timerz' for those who want to learn more about the topic.
What is the video creator's closing statement to the audience?
-The video creator expresses love for their audience and promises to see them in the next video, emphasizing the importance of likes as a form of support.
Outlines
🕒 Windows 10 Latency Reduction Program
The video introduces an ancient yet effective program designed to reduce kernel timer latency on Windows 10 systems, providing users with a performance boost akin to the timer resolution feature in Windows 11. The presenter emphasizes the high kernel latency without the program and demonstrates a significant drop in latency upon its activation. The video also compares the program's effectiveness to the 'measure sleep' tool, showing a marked improvement in sleep and Delta values. Transcripts
hey everyone hope you're doing well
today in this video I'm covering a
really cool and really old program that
basically gives time or rest to people
on Windows 10 make sure you leave a like
on the video before we get started now
let's move into it this is a very stock
Windows 10 I just downloaded and without
the program we average an insanely High
kernel timer latency that Windows 11
users get to remove with the timer
resolution program and I've mentioned in
the past two videos that timer res does
not work on Windows 10 and yes this will
be my very last video on timer res but I
didn't want to leave Windows 10 users
and the dust in regards to the topic and
now when I turn this program on if we
watch our currently measured kernel
latency it will drop basically all the
way instantly and this latency I'm
pretty sure is actually much lower than
what timer resolution gives Windows 11
users which is quite crazy to think
about and just to prove it even further
I have the measure sleep program from
omit and we can see that the sleep and
Deltas are both very high here and when
we go to turn on the program once again
they drop significantly which if you do
want to learn more more about this stuff
you can visit my guide to Amit timerz
but to keep it short and sweet here I'll
leave a direct download to the program
in the description so you guys don't
have to go through sketchy sites and
that's going to end it for this video
here make sure you guys leave a like as
it is the easiest way and biggest way to
show support for me love you guys as
always and I'll see you in the next one
