Magnolia but instead Kate and I are in
Dallas Texas today we're doing some
early Christmas buying Believe It or Not
Christmas 2024 is on the list today and
we're just curious if you want to jump
in say hi give us your opinion on some
of the colors we're going to show you
today we're going to do a little quick
walkr see how far we can get with all
the people around us and uh give you
some color updates see show you what
we're seeing here at market and we are
live in it's actually not a market today
it's just some private shopping and
we're doing some Christmas uh overviews
for the next season Kate's behind the
camera helping me out hi I'll give you a
quick pan while there's nobody in this
front corner so uh they are featuring in
this area blue and silver and
white and all
things beautiful and layered they have
lots of beautiful stuff what are we
thinking of blue BL are you doing blue
this year what shades of blue are you
doing so the blue is featured heavily in
this area of the showroom and what are
we looking at 1 2 3 4 5 six different
types of blue trees just curious how
much has blue come into play for your
designs this Christmas or were you
thinking of adding blue and you didn't
do it this year and you might be looking
at doing it next year we're just jumping
on and saying hi from Dallas Market
Center where we're doing some early
buying and our design aesthetic has not
been decided we haven't committed to
everything personally I'm really loving
this beigy tone back here but yep up in
the air on Blues versus beige versus
traditional red I mean it is a plethora
of options and it's a little bit uh
uncertain and unclear what we're going
to need for a whole 12 months from now
right it's hard to imagine we're seeing
The Decorator colors are defitely
warming up
champagne this is a beautiful beige taup
champagne tree then you have a more
casual one over here with Mr Poler
bear beautiful colors these aren't
necessarily what we're doing but fun to
see just some fun ideas so we thought we
jump on say hello give you a little
update on where we're shopping and what
we're doing today's goal is to work
through some of the showrooms and be uh
be aware of the color themes start
committing to different kinds of stems
and looks and then we build our product
mix based on some of the commentary from
you over the course of this Christmas
season when you said hey I'm looking for
this or I didn't find that those are the
things that help guide us so just
thought we jump on say hi give you a
heads up where we're at and you can jump
on and let us know what you're seeing in
the comments yeah and we'd love to know
so we see what you're doing this year do
you have plans on changing what you're
doing next year are you going to add to
what you've done this year do you like
to do something fresh every year henrian
is doing beige Marine said blue silver
and white I bought some seriously lit up
options over here too lots of fun
lighted things if you flip around behind
you that room is glowing glowing glowing
glowing it would be a a little bit of a
stretch to ship some of those things to
our customers but it's fun to look at
isn't it so we are in Dallas we are
buying for
2024 and in the grand excited about some
of the color options that they have for
us this year at Market in the grand
scheme of things you could recap by
saying Blue's making a heavy present
it's heavy presence known as well as
deep jewel tones this kind of color
palette with the black and gold is it's
a pretty ornate look for our area not
normally something I would jump on but
interesting that they featured it at
their front door as well yes this yes
sure lots of beautiful burgundy tones
like this one here in their front
window so curious how you feel about
dark jewel tones today this is the uh
main entrance of the showroom I love the
paint color on the wall actually one of
my faves is this deep turquoisey green
tone and then the largest tree covered
in the most tones pink here I'll find
out what this is this is a beautiful
color so this isn't necessarily what
we're buying
uh we have not decided on our looks yet
this is just what they are showing we do
never really take it right off
the your day going do you want to go in
and say hi hello you got to say here's
our friend Mary she's shopping today too
she getting ready to head I I got it you
got to go to the plane don't you yes I
gots we were oh okay like the one in the
bottom over in the TR it's busy around
here okay so Brenda says it's strong hi
Karen hello hello so yes this is a jewel
tone tree lots of coppery
tones I mean you can take individual
elements from these looks that they're
showing so like this beautiful burgundy
poin Zetta the emerald is really
strong and they're showing a lot of that
and then another one can I show it yeah
this that's Tre is very formal this one
I didn't know somebody was over here I
didn't want to get them on camera this
one is a little more casual I mean the
elements are nice that it has the jewels
peeking out a little bit and mushrooms
you guys mushrooms who loves mushrooms
yeah so this tree is a really
interesting
combination of jewel tones but yeah done
up a little bit more casual I'm fighting
for this one I love that
petta you do it's so pretty lots of fun
colors and things what do we think of
this one number two what do we think of
mushrooms what do we think of mushrooms
this year they're everywhere I feel like
we have to get some mushrooms mushrooms
will make an appearance at Magnolia
because you can't ignore it everybody
mushrooms have taken over the Gnomes so
gnomes are not really a thing PE the
tree room we have we haven't shopped
there
yet lots of that fun they have so many
fun casual
trees and you usual color combos yeah
some of them a little on the risky side
for what we like to do but uh natural
definitely is uh
making making half of the trees in this
showroom I'd say are natural based or
textured and
non-glittery bases to them this is a
completely traditional look but look how
they threw in that mustard gold and
we're loving your input on these trees
before we make commitments we want to
know what you
just a little fun for you today to check
it out so instead of live from Magnolias
we are live in Dallas Texas we're doing
a little holiday pre-shopping and this
is how we make decisions on what we're
going to carry for the 2024 holiday
season and it makes a difference what
you pop in and say you like even if you
watch this in replay we'll be checking
out the comments later we will our
decisions will be guided by you the
people I'm kind of liking this Navy
blueberry the uh opportunity to throw a
little Navy in without heavy commitment
in big flowers yes like maybe this tree
with the gigantic Navy flowers isn't the
direction that I'd like to put forward
with that much Navy but it touch is
good how can you possibly decide Sheila
said oh yeah there's like 900,000 things
in here for
sure yeah lots of burgundies Reds
again definitely is always an option but
we like to do it in new fun combinations
of course course it wouldn't be us if we
did the same thing every year got to mix
it up guys got to mix it up so just a
few fun uh little Peaks here at the
showroom in so let us know what trees
your favorite what things do you like
what colors do you like are you going
formal are you going casual do you want
to update your look in a different new
way next year we love is this fun look
at the mushrooms hanging out on the
branches this is a fun traditional tree
are any of you traditional tree shoppers
beautiful love that plaid ribbon that is
really nany's like a navy and cobalt
blue Carol loves
burgundy hello Janet she likes glitter
well don't worry there's plenty of
glitter there is glitter I tell you what
buy some glitter you won't go wrong with
a glitter in our store but there is so
many fun options lots of green this year
Becky's doing
casual
here is a fun more casual lodgy look
that we're liking I like the it's
vibrant uh but not glitzy mhm has a lot
of color opportunities you could pick
your favorites don't worry we'll have
owls it's kind of a mix of Woodland with
a little modern Green in there and then
you get into the fun and crazy area
Linda's doing more rustic Martha loves
tree number five
okay what do we think do we need hot
pink we have plenty of options so
certainly whatever you're looking for
there's some crazy themed ones here we
can make it happen I'm grin particularly
loving the Grinch tree that's great it's
a good Griner Kim likes
Woodland hey who does nutcrackers I'm
kind of curious about nutcrackers we are
seeing them this size of Nutcracker in
Dallas in general we've got to post a
video we went looking at Christmas
lights and in Dallas in the Highland
Park District I swear everybody either
had nutcrackers at their front door or a
gigantic Santa the size of me waving out
the wind though that was like the two
things we kept spotting in people's
people's residential Christmas like does
anybody do nutcrackers cuz she does Reds
and neutrals Sharon's doing more formal
Linda said I love them all it's it's a
lot we can only pick like four looks
Grinch butt anyone need a grinch butt
this one's unique with the ivory white
and
green little casual
snowy no Grinch Sheila said no grinin
this one this is kind of similar to what
we did in Winter retreat this year I
love this look the chocolate brown
really pops the Kathy has lots of
Nutcrackers Pat loves traditional
traditional and a touch of blue got to
have those owls and
squirrels Jennifer has nutcrackers on
the side of her fireplace face everyone
loves your sweaters oh thank you I was
this is this is cold it's chilly it's
chilly blue
traditional number 43 here's number
51 oh my goodness minty minty it with
champagne mint is definitely green is
everywhere Kathy does small combinations
in different rooms Kathy I thought of
you with these looks so I know you have
these colors but it kind of goes from
minty green so look at this gorgeous
Grandma loves number
43
49 isn't that
nice we do not have any colors decided
we will not release our
colors and when we do decide it'll be
hush yeah we haven't decided fully it's
kind of a celery green cake kept liking
these I kept gravitating towards the
celer green color 43 43 43 owls and deer
and Woodland CR Critters everywhere gosh
Fox C's doing first snow elegant red and
white funny first snow was one of the
names I had written down that is a good
name I love it and we're back to Blue
again looking for frosted red and white
she said Jackie said the green velvet
poinsetta with the mushrooms and accent
color like blueberries or gold would be
gorgeous well we're asking you to help
us choose that's the
thing okay which one was 43 everyone's
obsessed with 4 three okay this one that
one see I liked that one too this bright
green oh interesting I mean 43 absolute
lime and car I like celery green celery
green we maybe we'll bring gingerbread
things in Barbara 49 is a hit this year
in the Netherlands ah let's wander back
through here so if you're just joining
us we are in Dallas we're buying for
2024 Christmas here's tree 50 kind of
reminds reminds me of our midnight ice
look this year a lot heavier on the
green mhm a lot heavier on the GRE you
better go this way someone's working
over here someone's working over there
oh I want to get anyone on camera who
doesn't want to be on camera and this
one
was what number are you
61 so this is different tones of blue
more casual
look yes Carol loves 43 Kim said
champagne and green
I think there's actually over 43 43o
over 80 trees in here in the showroom I
think there's over 80 so lots of blue
and
silver what do we
think okay this is
59 formal silver and blue this one I
really love 57 feel like a play on this
lighter Blues darker Blues lots of white
and silver is
beautiful we didn't walk by the red
silver tree yet no we probably should
you have to go yeah I'm like which way
should we go here here's 58 I think you
have to go back through this holid this
one's got a lot brighter blue with
silver isn't that fun love 61 which one
was 61 I don't even
remember this one is mostly white some
opalescent and a nice
blue this was 61 that's 61 okay here's
some pink so blue is definitely we're
going to have blue somewhere you got to
look at all the blue there is pink
probably won't do that but this is fun
65 64 nice medals
here so tell us which ones you're liking
yep we're we're going to walk to the red
cuz I realized we skipped it you want to
see what we're doing for red I'm sure
red is definitely gonna love this we
won't do this but wow look at that Rosy
mauve that's exceptionally done I love
how elegant that is bright gold is not
really our thing in
Nebraska but it's
there okay we got to walk back this way
we should be able to get over here
everybody's eating yeah there we go
we'll sneak through here traditional
traditional number 11 is
traditional number 12 is also
traditional with a bit more Woodland D
elements this is number
17 pretty traditional and there's people
think we can sneak
through let's
see let's go this way yeah I don't want
to get anyone on camera that doesn't
want to be on camera 23 so they have
lots of red back here cutesy red formal
red all kinds of options 23 is really
fun says puppies and Snowman and birds
24 lots of snowman over here I'm going
to go through your comments later and
match the uh tree to the number there
and see which ones you're loving
crackers the
general I think we're stuck maybe I can
I can do it I can squeeze we'll just
uh go like
[Music]
this this one's cool here is number
30 which is red and
silver red and silver for number 30 if
you have an opinion between red and
silver and red and gold I'd love to hear
it or red and champagne toss red and
white yep just keep dropping the numbers
that you like this is 30 with red and
silver particularly I love that ribbon
it's so cute isn't
it so that one is really fun
red and gold look at that gorgeous
ribbon oh my gosh that's number
27 love that unusual things traditional
red velvet so you got to tell us the
trees that you like I think last year I
literally wrote down the numbers and
then I like tallied up how many votes
look at how much fun this is guys ribb
this is like my candy store right here
my candy store so votes for 30 Barb said
30 with less red Lots of ribbon the
ribbon room the ribbon room cuz we
bought 90 kinds of ribbon this year you
know literally 90 kinds and that's why
here's red and gold I don't think we'll
really do gold Gold's not really for us
in our area so the question is modern
red or casual
red 24 I'm a traditional kind of girl I
like number
30 this is
traditional super traditional right down
to the birds and the puppy and the deer
and the buttons
yep
traditional lots of variations of
traditional red and green different
plaids all kinds of unique here's More
Country Christmas 19 very cheerful over
here and 18 is a cheerful traditional
sorry if I'm moving a little fast cozy
looks I think we're going to have to
wrap it up there's a little bit of a
crowd coming up
lunchtime so really fun this one had
some other greens too number
15 Unique Look there number
[Music]
14 the creams kind of a different take
with the the greens are really just
Pine has lots of creamy
tones they're Big Jewel tone look at
that thing that thing is 12T tall
probably something like that
and then there was number two again so
we've kind of circled through number
two so yeah so thanks everybody for
doing a little quick tour we didn't want
to get in anyone's way there's other
people working here internationally
actually several International groups
and we are enjoying the tour here as
much as you you just got a little tiny
peek of the work we're up for today
tomorrow Wednesday yep so let us know
