Q & A
What are the key takeaways from the FA Cup fifth round draw?
-The main takeaways are that gameweek 29 is likely to have a lot of blank fixtures, making Free Hit in GW29 a popular strategy. Chelsea vs Aston Villa fourth round replay will give more info on potential blanks. Overall, start thinking about chip strategy but no need to commit yet.
Has Egypt being knocked out of AFCON changed plans to transfer out Salah?
-Not necessarily. Unless Klopp indicates Salah could be back sooner, the plan to transfer him out likely still stands, as he is expected to miss GW24 and potentially GW25.
Who are the top players being considered from Man City, Liverpool and Brentford for DGW25?
-For Man City - Haaland, De Bruyne, Foden, Walker, Ederson, Bernardo Silva. For Liverpool - Darwin, Jota, Salah, Diaz, TAA, Van Dijk. For Brentford - Toney, Raya.
What are the top captaincy choices being considered for GW22?
-The main captaincy options are Man City (De Bruyne/Alvarez), Liverpool (Darwin/Jota), Spurs (Kane/Son) and Arsenal (Saka). Richarlison may also be a popular pick.
Is Free Hit likely to be used in DGW25?
-Using a chip in GW25 could be helpful, but Free Hit in GW25 specifically may not be optimal. Bench Boost could work for some teams based on their setup.
How valuable are goalkeepers for chips like Free Hit?
-Goalkeepers like Ederson and Alisson should not be ruled out as they don't use up outfield spots. Can be useful for blanks as you can just bench them.
When is the best time to commit to Salah or Haaland?
-Once both are fully fit, assess which one to commit to based on form, fixtures etc. No need to prematurely commit to one now.
Is doubling up on both Liverpool and Arsenal defense viable?
-It can be, depending on what other spots you have free in your team. Liverpool likely need TAA, Arsenal could do Gabriel + White/Tierney.
How do the potential blank and double gameweeks affect transfer planning?
-Be cautious bringing in players like Toney early just for a blank. Prioritize getting Man City players first. Can wait until GW23 for Liverpool.
What is the outlook for using chips like Wildcard and Free Hit?
-Lots of options on when to use them. Key is saving Free Hit for a big blank like GW29, and using Wildcard to set up doubles without compromising non-double weeks.

Highlights
FA Cup fifth round draw points to potential blank gameweeks and chip strategies for FPL
Free hit in GW29 likely to be popular due to number of blank fixtures
No definite chip strategy yet - depends on team structure and future information
Salah's return doesn't change decision to transfer him out unless Klopp gives positive injury update
Harland or Salah - decide if willing to commit to just one premium asset
Key double GW25 targets: City - Haaland, De Bruyne, Foden, Liverpool - Darwin, Jota, Trent
GW22 captaincy open - no obvious standout, but Richarlison or Man City player look good
Saka a good captaincy differential despite lack of returns - underlying numbers still strong
Darwin/Jota not bad captains but low scoring Liverpool-Chelsea game possible
De Bruyne best Man City captain if confident on minutes, else prefer Richarlison security
Roll transfer to keep options open if possible, make GW25 and GW26 priority
Start planning chip strategy but no need to commit yet, be flexible
Monitor Salah injury status but likely to still transfer out unless positive Klopp update
Can reassess Salah vs Haaland decision each GW as injury news develops
Roll transfer again if one FT and happy with bench, no urgent moves needed

what is going on everyone my name is
Andy welcome back to another FPL video
and this one it's the gameweek 22
preview so I'm going to go through a few
different topics in this one the FA Cup
fifth round draw what that means for
blank game weeks and Chip strategy later
on this season Egypt going out of
African Cup of Nations does that change
my thoughts on Salah double gameweek 25
players to Target as well as gameweek 22
captaincy and any other questions you
got left over I'll try and cover in the
final thoughts video tomorrow so you
enjoyed this one make sure to give it a
like hit that subscribe button let's get
into it so I'm going to start with the
FA Cup fifth round draw that was made
yesterday and talk about the knock on
effects for FPL in terms of blank game
weeks and potential chip strategies and
stuff like that just some early thoughts
quick reminder the fifth round games
themselves don't cause any postponed
fixtures for FPL but any Premier League
teams that get through this round to the
quarterfinals would then blank in
gameweek 29 and so were their opponents
and the general outlook for gameweek 29
is there could be a lot of postponing
fixtures because a lot of Premier League
teams have been drawn against non-
Premier League teams in the FA Cup and
therefore there'll be odds on favorite
to get through to the next round now we
say this every year and every single
year there's some kind of upset some
kind of shock a Prem team gets knocked
out when you weren't expecting it and
obviously that match is then on in 29
but I think generally I would be
preparing that a lot of fixtures are
going to be off and even where Premier
League teams have been drawn against
each other it might not make a huge
amount of difference because it only
takes one of the teams who are playing
against each other in 29 to advance for
that fixture to be called off so for
example wolves are playing against
Brighton an all Premier League tie if
wolves were to win that and Brighton
were to go out they would be able to
play in 29 apart from their fixtur is
against Man City so if Man City beat
Luton in the FA Cup and Brighton go out
Brighton will still blank in 29 so this
is what the draw looks like uh Blackburn
or rexon versus Newcastle Chelsea or
Aston Villa which is a key fourth round
Replay that is going to help us I would
say prepare for 29 one way or another
because if Chelsea go out their match
against Arsenal will definitely be on a
lot of people got players from both of
those teams and if Chelsea win Villa go
out and they will play against West Ham
and whichever one of those two sides
wins their fourth round replay will play
Leeds or Plymouth uh Bournemouth have
got Leicester obviously Leicester a very
good side in the championship could they
win that game of course but Bournemouth
will be the favorite especially at home
Liverpool have got Watford or
Southampton this is probably one of the
more interesting tires I guess is
Bristol City or not and Forest who have
got a fourth round replay will play Man
United because they beat Newport
yesterday now if Forest win the fourth
round replay man united will still be
favorites for that game but man united
can be very hit and miss as I'm sure
you've seen this season so could not and
Forest win at home absolutely and if man
united go out their match in 29 is
against Sheffield United which is
already sorry which is a team that's
already eliminated from the FA Cup and
therefore Man United versus Sheffield
United would be on but the odds will be
the man united are favorites for that
tie wolves versus Brighton already spoke
about then you've got a non- premier
league tie which is shefford Wednesday
or centry City versus mainstone that
doesn't matter for FPL and then Luton
versus Man City now if all the favorites
go through which as I've already said
probably won't happen but if it does
there would only be four matches on in
gameweek
29 which would be berley versus brenford
and Fulham versus Spurs we know those
two matches will be on because all four
of those teams were out of the FA Cup
and then Luton versus Forest because man
united beat Forest Man City beat Luton
at least on paper and then Arsenal
versus Chelsea or West Ham versus Villa
depending on whether Chelsea or Villa
win the fourth round Replay that would
be it and as soon as I saw that and the
FA Cup draw my first thoughts were free
hit 29 is going to be very popular now
you get two kinds of people with free
hit in blank game weeks those that are
happy to do it because of what it means
outside of the blank game we can to talk
about that in a second and you get those
that hate it because you're only really
backing kind of you know as you can see
here you're only really backing like
eight teams and you tend not to want a
huge amount of players from those teams
I the reason I like free hit in a blank
like that is because it means you don't
have to hold those players before or
after the blank you can just get them in
for one week only and yes you'll score
less points than a double game week but
overall you should score or hopefully
the plan would be to score extra points
outside of the blank game week if that
makes sense right so just as an
example let's say you know you want
triple brenford versus Burnley that's
probably fine on a free hit but you
don't want to carry three brenford
players outside of that you want to have
Liverpool and Arsenal and Man City
whoever it might be Spurs as although
Spurs are playing right so forget that
but you kind of get the idea I hope that
you free hit in a blank to make sure you
can keep good players outside of that
that you don't have to sell because
they're not playing in 29 now I'm not
saying that free hit 29 is the go-to
strategy lots of people are talking
about not doing that but it is going to
be quite popular I think a lot will rest
on who wins out of Chelsea or Villa
because if Villa in and Chelsea go out
lots of people have got double or triple
Arsenal maybe one or two chelse as well
and suddenly when you couple that with
richardon porro maybe Tony from brenford
you're starting to get kind of six to
eight players without even without even
having to free hit so it's definitely
going to be possible and some of you by
the way might have three Aston Villa
players so if Chelsea win and Villa go
out you might have an additional three
players that are playing in 29 so it's
not that free hit 29 is now the go-to
strategy but it's definitely going to be
very popular um the V versus Chelsea
replay we'll know the result of that
before gameweek 24 so I know we kept
saying between 21 and 22 to wait for
more info but we are continuing to wait
for additional info and this is going to
happen over the next few weeks um but
that will happened before 24 that Villa
versus Chelsea replay we'll know the
gameweek 29 blanks before gameweek 27
that's when the fifth round games will
have been played like I said free hit 29
will be popular especially if Chelsea
win but it will all be dependent on your
team is set up and obviously if you
don't have free hit then you've just got
to manage it a different way and what I
mean by that is try and get as many
players as possible for the doubles and
the blanks without compromising too much
it might mean that you have a couple of
less plays and a blank or a couple of
less players and a double but it will be
manageable even without a free hit but
if you've got it then obviously that is
one route you could take um like I said
yeah if Villa win potential to get
through game we 29 with no free hit
various chip strategies going to be
viable I don't think there's one it's
not like a one siiz fits-all approach
where if you've got all your chips this
is the strategy that you go for but I
don't think that free hit in 25 or 26 is
going to work that well I just think
there'll be too much to manage
afterwards to Warrant using it in either
of those weeks like 25 could be nice
because you get Triple Liverpool and
triple Man City without having to hold
on to them long term but the fact that
man city have got Bernie this week
double in 25 and they don't blank in 26
it just doesn't seem great to use a free
hit to get them in when you can just
hold them longer term anyway especially
when one of them is going to be Harlem
when he's fit as well so all you're
really adding with a free hit is two
other Man City players and it could be a
similar conversation with Liverpool I
just don't think free hitting
25 is good enough basically it's not
going to be better than saving it later
on and you could use it in blank
gameweek 26 but I think that's going to
be easier for most people to manage than
it will be in 29 purely because there's
more fixtures on in gameweek 26 so you
could do that I just think I just think
that fifth round draw is kind of killed
free hit 25 or 26 in terms of wild card
right I've seen people talking about
using it in 26 27 30 31 34 right there's
l or sorry
35 there's lots of times you can use it
there's
no there's no specific wheat I can tell
you right now which is the best wheat
it's going to come down to when you want
to use your free hit essentially and I
think with gameweek 29 which is going to
be a key part of your chip strategy you
either free hit that week and then save
your wild card until a bit later on or
you dead end into that week and that
just means that you sell any players
that aren't playing to buy players that
are in 29 and then you still Wild Card
afterwards you could wild card before in
26 or 27 then free hit 29 just hope you
can manage the rest of the season but I
think that would
I think for me I would only do that if
I'm struggling to manage 25 or 26 and a
bunch of injuries crop up and stuff like
that and it's also worth saying right
and I'm kind of know I'm kind of going
back and forth on this but with 29 the
idea of not free hitting because you've
got so many players that are going to
play that week I do think it could be
viable but it relies on a couple of
things one you wanted to carry those
Chelsea Arsenal um Spurs players the
whole way through and also that none of
them get injured right because let's say
for my team I've got Palmer richardos
and parro saaka Gabrielle and CBA great
I've already got six players that if
Villa win in the FA Cup will play in 29
but if sacka gets injured am I
definitely going to want want to go to
another Arsenal midfielder maybe not if
Palmer gets injured do I want to go to a
different Chelsea midfielder probably
not at least not long term and so
therefore free hit 29 would become a lot
better so I can just get those players
in when I need them and then not worry
about having to hold them longterm so
unfortunately we're not going into game
week 2 thinking right this is all set in
stone now this is exactly what I need to
do where possible you want to keep your
options open I definitely want to roll
this week if I can couple of
other um points just to end on this
little section I think using an using a
chip in gameweek 25 could be really
handy because the way that the rest of
the season's probably going to look is
double in 25 small blank in 26 big blank
in 29 and then some bigger double game
weeks in 34 and 37 so you are going to
run out of game weeks to use your chips
if you don't use one in 25 obviously if
Salah or Harland is fully fit by 25
there's an easy triple Captain there but
if not bench boost for some teams might
work as well I've looked at it for mine
I just think the number of transfers to
get a good bench boost in 25 and to
manage 26 is probably not going to be
possible but for your team it might be a
bit different and the other thing to
mention about double game 34 and 37 is
that the teams doubling in both of those
weeks are probably going to be different
now last year I think it was teams like
Man City Brighton and man united they
all doubled in both of those game so it
was easy just to get their players in
and carry them the whole way through
this year it's not necessarily going to
work like that and the teams that you
want for 34 could be different to 37 so
that is why some people are going to
want to hold on to their free hit past
29 so that they can set up for one of
the double game weeks with a wild card
and then free hit the different players
in for the other double game week so
that is
why on the surface I think free hit 29
looks good but it's definitely not not
locked in by any means the final point
I'll make I don't think most people's
transfers has changed this week based on
this news it's interesting to start
thinking about it's good to start
looking at potential chip strategies and
stuff like that but the transfer you're
making for gameweek 22 is not going to
be vastly different with this
information and I do try to put off as
many decisions for FPL as long as I can
so my move will almost certainly still
be Salah to foden and I'll make a move
next week and then once we've got that
Villa versus Chelsea confirmation then
I'll start trying to lock in my own chip
strategy for now you make your TRS to
this week double gameweek 25 and blank
gameweek 26 are the priority but just
start thinking about gameweek 29 longer
term so I'm sure that most of you have
seen by now that Egypt were knocked out
of African Cup of Nations last night
which means that Salah is available for
Liverpool again at least outside of
injury and lots of people ask me has
this changed my thinking about
transferring Salah out and my initial
thoughts are unless klopp says something
interesting in tomorrow's press
conference I don't think too much has
changed here and what I mean by
interesting is if he indicates that
Salah could be back by game weeks 23 or
24 then maybe he's worth holding on to
because Burnie at home in 24 is a good
fixture you then have the in 25 but I
just don't think he's going to give us
that information right there's a lot
going on here in terms of Salah leaving
Egypt to come back to Liverpool for
rehabilitation I don't think klopp's
going to give us too much information
either way and from what we've got to go
on like the most recent news is that a
few days ago Salah was going to be out
for three to four weeks which would mean
he would miss 24 and potentially be a
doubt for 25 and if that's still the
case he's probably still worth selling
it's also worth saying that
if he was a down for 25 then you've got
two games in quick succession and then
you've got the carabal Cup Final so it's
not even a guarantee that he would play
both games in that double anyway so in
Les klopp tomorrow because he should
have held his should hold his press
conference ahead of the Liverpool game
on Wednesday unless he comes out and
says yeah he's actually doing really
well he might be back sooner than
expected I'm probably still going to
sell him I also think it's worth
considering whether you want both Salah
and Harland because if you don't if
you're willing to commit to just having
one of those then if you sell Salah for
most people Harland or Salah is just one
transfer back in So for me if I sell har
sorry if I sell Salah to foden this week
and let's just say that harland's not an
option for gameweek 22 in 23 I can
reassess and if harland's back and he's
got minutes and Salah still out I could
just buy Harland and if they're both DS
for 23 then I just ignore both of them
and I make that decision again in
gameweek 24 so once you sell salary it's
not that you can't buy him back but I
guess it all depends on as always what
your team looks like if you've got
another transfer to make instead or
you've only got one free transfer and
you're more than happy to roll it then
just roll it and put that decision off
until next week with the way that the
prices are this year and the fact that
harland's not fit at the moment there's
not a massive need for that money anyway
and like last week I got a green arrow
of Sal on my bench if I only had one
free tra this week I'd probably
seriously consider
just rolling again because without with
Salah third on my bench my team still
looks perfectly okay is foden better
than some of those midfielders I've got
of course but it's not the end of the
world if I don't have him this week so
yeah I don't think it's changed a huge
amount but let's see what klopp says
tomorrow so another topic that I wanted
to cover is potential players to bring
in for double gameweek 25 a few people
asked me to cover that now as it stands
we only know for sure that two teams are
doubling that week and that is Man City
and brenford but we can be confident
that because of the carabal cup final
Liverpool versus Luton will also go into
double gameweek 25 and hopefully that'll
be announced this week not necessarily
before the gameweek 22 deadline but
hopefully by the gameweek 23 deadline at
the latest so if you want to play it
super safe right you don't necessarily
want to bring in Liverpool players
unless they're doublin you could wait
until gameweek 23 to make that decision
now I've put on screen the main players
that I would be looking at from all of
these teams for Man City I've got
Harland of course course if he's fit um
or when he's fit I should say de bruyne
foden Walker Edison and Bernardo Silva
um so I've left out the likes of doku
and grides I just think there's a little
bit too much rotation there I haven't
gone for any other Defenders outside of
Kyle Walker because he seems to be the
most nailed and as much as City have got
some good fixtures before and they don't
blank in 26 I just don't think the other
Defenders are really worth worrying
about right because if they don't play
they're just no good to you and car
Walker is the only one that started
every single game so that's why there's
no other Defenders there I've put Edison
down just because I would never
completely rule the goalkeepers out for
a couple of reasons one is they don't
take out another sorry they don't take
up another Outfield spot so for example
for my team I've got Trent parro and
double Arsenal defense I don't
necessarily have a great spot to put
walker in so if I wanted that Third Man
City player and it wasn't going to be
another attacker I could just put Edison
in instead and if it goes wrong like it
has done many times before I can just
eventually Wild Card him out with
Allison just to quickly go on to
Liverpool is actually a slightly
different thought process in that yes he
takes up a non- outfield spot but also
in gameweek 26 it's very easy to kind of
hide a goalkeeper when they blank
because you can just play your other
goalkeeper instead whereas with the
Outfield players if you've got Spurs and
Chelsea and Liverpool all blanking it
might be difficult to bench all three of
your Liverpool players you might have to
transfer them out whereas with Allison
you wouldn't necessarily need to do that
so as much as the goalkeepers aren't
exciting don't completely rule them out
just to go back to Man City obviously
Haren if he's fit is definitely an
option I think for a lot of people as
I've kind of already mentioned in this
video you need
to start deciding whether you're willing
to commit to just having one of those
premiums because if you want both harand
and Salah when they're fit and if that
happens for 25 how are you going to fit
them both in and if not which one of
them are you going to go for if they
were both fit as it stands I'm probably
going to bring Harlem back because I
think he's going to be back sooner than
Salah but that could change week to week
with de bruyne I'm not going to go
through him again in massive detail
because I've spoken about him a lot if
you think his minutes are good and you
can afford him and still make all your
other moves then bring him in he's a
fantastic player I don't want people to
think I think he's terrible but if like
me you're just not sure about his
minutes you don't even know if he's
going to start against Burnley then I
would probably just ignore him a lot of
people ask me about why I'm so happy to
bring foden in like if I'm worried about
de br's minutes why am I not worried
about foden and the answer is I am
worried about them I'm not happy about
bring them in I just think he's the best
of a bad bunch and if the Brer and foden
are both going to miss minutes I'd
rather spend less money and go for the
player that's fit and hasn't been out
for most of this season through injury
that's about it there's not really more
to it with foden I'm just bringing him
in and then hoping that he continues to
play the majority of games but I am not
bringing him in thinking that he's
guaranteed to start the next six matches
because ultimately he's a man City
player but I think foden's okay to bring
in this week and I've put Bernardo Silva
down just because he always starts and
I'd rather have that over a dock or Gish
but it is worth saying the conversation
right now with Man City players is going
to be different to what it will be just
before gameweek 25 at that point you
might look at it and say well hang on a
minute greish hasn't been great Do's
been playing well he's probably going to
start both of these matches I might take
a punt perfectly reasonable I'm not sure
I would make that decision right now
with
Liverpool I've put Darwin jotter Salah
Diaz Trent van djk and Allison I'm not
completely sure about Diaz because I
don't think I'm not sure he's first
choice left wing right now that's the
problem I think it might be Darwin yunes
so I'd be a little bit unsure about that
pick I haven't put anyone like soas or
mallister in because ultimately
Liverpool blank in 26 and I just don't
think those players are good enough to
bring in to then have to get rid rid of
again but obviously darmond and jot are
playing a lot right now playing really
well too you could definitely look at
them long term will their minutes
continue to be great especially when
Salah back not necessarily but if you're
looking for go looking at going for one
of those or sorry if you want to bring
in a Liverpool attacker right now they
are the two you're looking at I think in
defense the key one has to be Trent and
he did play against Norwich yesterday he
came off the bench so he should be you
hopefully fully fit moving forward I'm
sure he's going to start against Chelsea
we know he's the key Defender to get
from Liverpool but don't completely roll
out van djk if you need someone cheaper
but also again coming to back to that
conversation about which spots have you
got free it might be that you don't have
a Midfield slot for jot or a forward
slot for Darwin but you still want a
triple up on Liverpool outside of
Allison so who knows maybe Trent and Van
Dyk could be a viable option obviously
Robertson is someone you could consider
as well he also got minutes in the FA
Cup yesterday I just think think that
his injury was a little bit different to
Trent and I do wonder if they might
manage him a little bit more over the
next few weeks especially with how well
Gomez has been playing obviously when
Robertson's fully fit he is the first
choice left back we all know that but I
just don't think the klopp has to
necessarily take a risk with him right
now and Gomez could continue to see
minutes so I think if you're making a
defended decision right now you buy
Trent or even van djk closer to gameweek
25 maybe Robertson but I'm not sure I
would do that right now brenford Luton
the main two players I'd probably look
at are Tony or Dy again if you wanted a
goalkeeper with a double game you could
go for either the two goalkeepers from
those teams remember that lot and will
blank in 26 so if you bring in Dy as a
cheap enabler but you've also got triple
Liverpool you know maybe one or two from
Spurs one or two from Chelsea that's a
lot to deal with in 26 especially if
you're not free hitting so keep that in
mind Tony is going to be super popular
he's going to be really popular before
25 more so than he is right now it's
especially if you've already used your
free hit because brenford doubl in 25
and it's not the greatest double game
week they've got uh it'll be who is it
Liverpool at home man city away but
after that they got West Ham away
Chelsea at home Arsenal way which again
doesn't sound particularly great not
awful but not particularly great but
they play in 29 guaranteed so if you've
not got your free hit you've already
used it you get an extra fixture in 25 a
guaranteed fixture in 29 and not the
worst fixtures outside of that for a guy
that's absolutely nailed on for 90
minutes and on penalties as well so I
think a lot of people will consider Tony
and I already know right
now if if Villa beat Chelsea in the FA
Cup were coming back to that again then
I think a lot of people might look at
Watkins to Tony in gameweek 25 now to be
fair Villa's fixtures straight after 25
are pretty good right they got um well
in 25 they got full and then they got
Forest at home and Len away and Spurs at
home before they would potentially blank
in 29 but I think the extra fixture plus
the guaranteed game in in 29 for
brenford will mean a lot of people look
at what GS to Tony not necessarily right
now but that is something to consider
later on so they're the main players
that I would look at I think this week I
would prioritize Man City players over
Liverpool because they got the better
fixture and guaranteed double but
there's nothing wrong if you want to
bring in the liks of jot and Darwin this
week all right let's bring it back to
gameweek 22 and talk about captaincy and
I think this is a pretty good game week
to almost go wherever you want to with
the captain's armb within reason of
course I'm not saying just pick a player
at random and go with them but I think
if you want to do things a little bit
different this is a pretty decent game
week to do that for a few reasons right
one there's a full set of games on so
it's not like you've got a blank game
week where your choices are narrowed
down a little bit similarly you've got
double game weeks coming up where you're
probably going to want to pick a player
that doubles and that means everyone
else is thinking the same thing you
don't have that um in gameweek 22 you've
got lots of pretty good players with
pretty good fixures but I would say no
standout so even if you look at Man City
with Bernie at home which looks great on
paper you've got to be really confident
of their minutes and also Haren and
Salah are probably not going to be
options for gameweek 22 but soon enough
they could be and we know that when
those two players are fit that is where
most people will put the captain's
armband outside of blank and double game
weeks so your choices in the future are
probably not going to be as open as they
are the week so just to go through some
of the options like I've just said Man
City potential to go big this week
Bernie at home is a fixture where Man
City could easily score like three to
five goals and you almost won a piece of
that action it's just about choosing the
correct player which is the difficult
part and I think a lot of it comes down
to how much you trust those players
minutes so if you think de bruyne is
going to go and play 70 minutes or more
then I think he's probably the best
choice this week I wouldn't be so
confident in that and I think similarly
when I mentioned on team selection
yesterday about potentially captaining
Alvarez some people said well if you're
bringing foden in would uh foden in
would he not be an option as well and I
guess he would be but I don't really
trust his minutes either the difference
is that Alvarez without Harlem would
have penalties similarly so with
richardis presumably anyway against
brenford and where possible I would
always prefer to Captain a penalty taker
over someone that isn't basically
obviously if you know foden had berley
at home and all my other penalty takers
had super tough fixures that might be
different but I don't think that's
really the case this week so I like
foden and he's certainly not a bad
option but I think I just about prefer
Alvarez instead because I don't think
harland's going to start I think Alvarez
on penalties kind of swings it for me
with Liverpool I don't hate Darwin or J
I'm just never quite sure what Chelsea
team are going to turn up like I think
on their day Chelsea are actually quite
difficult to break down on a pretty
decent defensive team but also also
Liverpool are very good especially at
home so I don't think that Chelsea going
to keep a clean sheet or anything like
that I just think they've got the
ability to keep the score down I just
don't know what kind of returns Darwin
and jot are going to get this week if
that makes sense also if the game's
going well and one of those two players
hasn't returned early substitutions are
definitely a thing for Liverpool as well
so it's not like their minutes are fully
secure either I don't know I I like I
like d and J's transfers in I'm just not
sure I go the whole way and Captain them
as well but I definitely don't think
they're they're bad options I was
actually looking at the Chelsea stats
cuz early on in the season defensively
they were very good now they sit about
eighth right and that's very similar to
brentford's defensive numbers and so I'm
saying that Richard's good with a good
fixture but I'm saying Chelsea's a bit
more difficult is that just bias from
kind of recent Seasons when Chelsea were
much better possibly but I still think
on their day Chelsea can make that game
hard for Liverpool if Liverpool score
early on who knows maybe that will be
floodgates open I'm just not sure it's a
fixure that I would necessarily want to
go for but given how good Liverpool
Darwin and jot can be Etc definitely not
a bad option like I said richardis I
think is pretty good this week great
minutes right the longer or sorry the
more weeks that pass and you know more
Spurs players get to Fitness return from
International tournaments and stuff like
that Richard's minutes could go down but
this week they should be pretty great he
should be on penalties he's also a
midfielder which is better I would say
than Alvarez who's listed as a forward
and his fixtur is pretty good right
brenford aren't in brenford aren't
necessarily A team that I would look at
and be worried about scoring against
especially when you're you're playing at
home so I think for a lot of people
richardon is going to end up being the
one that they go for I may switch from
Alvarez for the same reason because I
just think if pep says that harland's
going to be in the squad how many
minutes is Alvarez going to get and I
know I've talked a lot about minutes but
that is a big consideration this week
because it could be that Alvarez plays
number nine on penalties for 60 minutes
but then gets brought off is that better
than richardis I'm not sure it is so
they're probably the
main three kind of players SL teams that
I'm looking at but you can really take
your pick sacka against not a forest
away not a bad option had that assist
been given for the goal that Gabrielle
scored would we be thinking about sackur
a little bit differently potentially I
know he hasn't been great this um not
not even this season but I know he
hasn't been great recently in terms of
returns but the numbers are still
excellent and he's putting up better
expected goal and expected assist
numbers than he did last year right so
he is a really good FP asset I've got no
interest in selling him whatsoever and
at some point the returns are going to
come like he's put up he's got sorry one
goal on paper at least in the last what
was that six weeks I think it is but
he's put up at least
.48 expected go Plus in each of those
games apart from against Liverpool but
that's going to be
a tough game on paper anyway so I
wouldn't completely rule sack out Xiao
Pedro's Got looten Away Watkins has got
Newcastle at home I think they're all
pretty good picks but I'm probably going
to go for rich charison or a man City
player I don't own a Liverpool attacker
so maybe it' be a little bit different
if I did I just I just look at Chelsea
on paper and I wouldn't be surprised if
that's a low scoring game like a 2-1 or
something like that which could be
enough for Darwin orj I think I just
prefer to go for a charlon or a man City
player let me know if you there's anyone
I've missed from the captaincy
conversation and if you've enjoyed that
video make sure to give it a like and
hit that subscribe button I know on the
you know the chip strategy and you know
the FA Cup fifth round draw there's just
a lot of talk about what could happen we
will start to narrow down different
Roots you can go for with your chips
over the next few weeks but I do think
that Villa Game could be quite key in
most people's decisions especially mine
like I'm not sure if I want a free hit
in 29 or just leave it a little bit
later but hopefully in the next couple
of game weeks I'll start to narrow those
decisions down and any new information
that comes up I'll of course cover it as
well and finally I'll be doing final
thoughts tomorrow where I'll answer some
of your questions so I put a tweet up on
Twitter if you haven't yet seen that you
can still go and reply and I'll try and
cover as many questions as possible in
tomorrow's video thanks for watching and
I'll catch you then
