Transcripts
this is a PowerPoint on pirate Demon
Hunter on the 17th I was in theory
crafting so I played a lot of pirate
Demon Hunter I went 4 and0 with this
list and actually felt incredibly strong
you have a lot of very good early game
options now with cards like patches the
pilot sky or Sigil of skydiving
adrenaline fiend hosen Ruff Houser and
coconut caner all of these new cards are
truly amazing for the early game you can
combo treasure distributor and sigal
skydiving if it doesn't die on turn one
or two which is you know not too common
but it does happen and you'll get a
gigantic Board of two ones with charge
and then treasure distributor will gain
plus uh three attack you can combo that
either with your adrenaline fiend to
give your hero a bunch of attack coconut
Canon ear can go in between them to deal
a lot of uh uh damage to your opponent's
face as well and the main combo is hos
and Ruff Houser it curves perfectly into
uh from Central skydiving where you can
then have two twos with charge because
they also gain that before they attack
it is incredibly powerful hosen Ruff
Houser felt really broken I don't know
why people were underrating this card it
genuinely feels so strong and I I had a
lot of fun playing this I do recommend
playing this I uh when it comes out
maybe not this list maybe someone that
makes a better one but I think that this
is pretty close to what a perfect list
should look like so we'll see uh I will
be making a video of course on this
again once it comes out but it was just
incredibly incredibly fun so let's start
with with something that I like to call
the power
turns I get to do it I get to do it
[Music]
chat good hit my
turn the banana it gives it a banana
that's so that's actually really funny
I'm not going to lie as you could see
the combo of uh hos Ruff Hower and sigil
skyly incredibly strong it lets you do
just so much it lets you fight for board
very efficiently if the if my opponent
didn't even have minions I was able to
have
uh while generating such a large board
it's really really good I think sigil
skydiving is incredibly underrated as a
card and I truly believe that it's one
of the best cards of this expansion so
let's look at some more
gameplay these cards allow you to do
some pretty disgusting lethals
adrenaline fiend just adds so much
damage to your hero it adds up a lot
because you have so many Pirates you do
run a few demons but I'm going to be
honest I don't even know if you need
those demons I didn't uh they didn't do
anything too special while I was using
them I think if anything the demons
might be worse than the
Pirates as you can see here I have
treasure distributor into Sigil of
skydiving it's genuinely so much damage
look at this
I summon three two ones that all have
charge I play adrenaline fiend and I
play uh of course I play Dean you know
you gotta play all your cards and then I
just I'm able to kill my opponent's
minion and send so much damage face on
turn three this is turn three and my
opponent's on 15 health absolutely
insane I'm then able on turn four to
transition it into a lethal just because
of cards like you know hosen Ruff Houser
giving stats and adrenaline fiend giving
a lot attack it truly added up to a
significant amount of damage throughout
the game actually just so powerful you
also have of course hosen Ruff Houser
which allows you to have some genuinely
surprising value as you can see I'm
going to coin Ruff Houser right here and
I'm able to trade into my opponent's
minion uh I wouldn't have made a play
like that if I didn't
have play my coconut caner as you can
see my hand I wouldn't have been able to
do that this turn I'm able to use
coconut caner to bump off the divine
shield on my opponent's minion I kind of
misplayed here I don't know why I played
it like this uh I definitely should have
just uh shot the the heart first just in
case but still you can do so much
because of the value of these uh Pirates
they actually let you trade incredibly
efficiently which can't be said for most
other aggro decks being able to trade in
uh positively into your opponent in an
aggro matchup wins you matchups just on
the spot because uh you're both not
really running removal and you both
don't have very much reload so so if you
do have any way to win the board
interactions you just kind of win the
game it happens again here I noticed
that my treasure distributor can
actually value trade into the 36 uh even
though it is a 63 currently because of
hosen Ruff Houser I can make this trade
positively and still be ahead on board
still have my very large attack minion
and still push a lot of damage look at
this it Buffs it before it would have
died and I still get to push a lot of
damage and buff my other
this of course leads to just killing my
opponent on the next turn because I have
such a large
board uh to be fair I will say not
everyone's playing you know perfectly uh
optimized decks this is Theory crafting
so you know there is are some mediocre
Decks that were being played however it
is something to talk about that when if
you're beating a hand buff Paladin with
uh pirate Demon Hunter it's probably
really
good if you're looking for more cards
you could possibly run in this deck you
could run things like through felon
Flames or metamorphosis I think that
these are a little subpar in my opinion
but if you don't own going down swinging
metamorphosis is a core card and of
course the fell in the Flames is just a
rare so it is something worth
experimenting with they give you just
more reach metamorphosis of course is uh
six Mana for 10 damage which does add up
it's probably about as good as uh maybe
a little bit worse than going down swing
uh around this it's of course around the
same power level I would say so it's not
the worst swap out possible and through
the Felon Flames would really help your
cards like uh sorry like your hosen Ruff
Houser or even your adrenaline fiend by
giving things rush so they can attack
the turn that they are played to get
benefits from those effects also your
coconut Canon ear things like that uh of
course a lot of your minions do have
charge so that's why again I would I
didn't put this in my list and it's
something you could run if you do feel
like experimenting with it but I don't
very much recommend it here's what I
expect this to look more like in Wild
you're probably going to put in cards
like patch of the pirate parachute
brigin ships Cannon you'll definitely be
taking out these slower more expensive
cards like going down swinging dangerous
Cliff side but I truly believe that it
will be a very strong deck and of course
it's going to be looking like this
you're obviously going to be running
patches you're going to be running ships
Cannon I think it's going to be looking
more like this some people don't think
you should run like hosen Rouser or uh
coconut Canon ear I think that Demon
Hunter is a little too strapped on
Pirates to not be running them uh this
list probably won't be that great and
wild do not get me wrong probably be
somewhere like a tier three deck if I
had to expect it's just a little bit
missing to be that great and wild now is
this going to be the best possible list
for this probably not but I do think
it's going to be quite decent you're
obviously slotting in your patches the
pirate shifts Cannon and parachute
brigin then you have access to Dead uh
dreed prison glaive which is an
incredible incredible weapon uh so I cut
down on one quick pick for it I still
think Quick Pick might might be good
enough so I want to experiment with it
and then of course you have arguably one
of the best cards ever printed in Mana
bur Mana bur is so so so valuable for
aggro demon Hunters that if you're not
running it you're actively not trying to
win but yeah that's going to be it for
me if you guys enjoyed make sure to like
comment and subscribe tell me you think
down below do you like pirate Demon
Hunter do you like the the wild list do
you like the standard list more uh and
let me think what let me know what you
think down below do you like perils in
Paradise I actually had a real good time
at Theory crafting and honestly I I
having a blast I think I'm going to make
the rest of
the uh the rest of my videos on decks
from Theory crafting similar to this or
just maybe a regular gameplay tell me
what you think down below and I'll let
and I'll see you guys next time
peace
again evil descends from the
skies the world cries out how will we
survive out of the Hall of explorers
