Transcripts
I just wanted to ask um you are not
doing the mindful body scan and the
Golden
Light uh when you have a um uh for
example a a single session with someone
I you doing uh both so that there is a
kind of relaxation and calming down and
then talking and at the end um The
Golden Light meditation or is that too
much well it depends how much time you
have yes so that that really depends if
you have a one hour session then if
you're going
to have a talk with your client you
maybe spend 10 minutes you know like
usually when you ask when you meet a
client privately and you know you want
them to and tell you you know how
they're feeling or what is challenging
in their life usually don't give more
than 10 minutes for that you know 10 15
minutes would be Max because in that
time you should already kind of um um
understand what they're going through
maybe it's some sadness they're dealing
with or maybe it's and some pain or some
kind of pain that they're dealing with
or so you should buy the first 10 to 15
minutes understand what they need so
then you would come into the practice
and if you don't have much time you
would start with the body scan but you
would take just five
minutes to a five minute body scan just
five minutes yes it can be as short as
five minutes and then you do the
breathing
practices and again this really depends
maybe you just do Saran Crea or maybe
you have nadish shadana and
bastri and if you have time or if you
want and choose you can finish with the
life force and energy and practice or
maybe you you don't so that's fine as
well or maybe you have more time today
maybe the session is of 90 minutes so
then you you can um have a body scan
which can be longer but maybe if you see
a person that's really struggling with
getting in touch with their body they're
too much in their head say okay I'm
going to today we're going to focus on a
body
scan you can do that and you can give a
a whole practice for like 15 20 minutes
of a body scan meditation and then
finish off for example with the life
force
energy pra meditation and that would be
more of a meditation session
but you can you can really feel into
into the needs of that person so body
scan um can also be even after so let's
say you have a very activating class
which is full of Basta you're opening
the energies you're opening with bastri
kapala and then maybe you want to tone
the nervous system and strengthen the
nervous system with thec practice and
these are all very
energizing and then at the end you want
to ground them with the body
scan that's possible as well you know so
and maybe you want to spend 15 minutes
doing a grounding meditation because
it's very integrative the body scan so
we can use it before or after like this
really depends on you there you can do
it any any way the beginning the end
short
long really okay it will not do any harm
in any way you you give it to others so
I was I was not conscious about the fact
that body scam can be five minutes too
yeah because yeah in a way you know just
think of it like okay we say we're going
to enter meditation now you know so we
close your eyes you come to the breath
and five minutes you know just like
bringing it
attention okay you know let's bring our
attention to the to the
crown
shoulders you can you can easily do a
very short five minute very very and
soft and it will work too it will bring
their Consciousness into the body to a
certain
degree so that is possible to
we actually do it anyways every time
before any practice you know just say
five minutes of silence and then a bit
of guidance into the body we also can
say it's like slowing down it's when we
say let's slow down a bit let's come
into the body can be like that as well
also for kids it's really amazing it's a
really good very simple practice it will
help them get in touch with their body
with their emotions from a very young
age you can do this as well
