here buddy Mark with think insurance and
today we're going to talk about the five
best home insurance companies for claims
and for satisfaction let's dive in in
the fifth spot is actually a tie it's
between chub and State Farm they are
ranked as far as claims go number five
if we were to pick a winner it's going
to be State Farm because chub as far as
the satisfaction survey is ranked 14
where State Farm is also ranked number
five for the overall satisfaction as far
as claims go and as far as happiness
which which is a little bit weird
because if you look online all you see
is about how State Farm did this wrong
they didn't check my roof correctly so
we're starting to see a little bit of a
trend shift I'm curious to see next year
how this plays out if these numbers
actually stay true number four is
Hartford that's for claims the rank
number four but for satisfaction they're
rank 13 take that with a grain of salt
because Hartford has been a great
company they're just not as well known
or as large as a lot of companies part
of the reason is cu they work with
independent agents and when you're
working with independent agent the agent
is in the Forefront of your company and
they're the ones that speak on your
behalf at least as far as talking to the
customer and if that agent doesn't take
care of the customer correctly and just
throw you on to Hartford because it's
cheap and easy to go with Hartford is
going to take care of you as far as the
claim goes but as far as the customer
service a lot of the times that's going
to be handled through the agency so I
think part of the ranked 14 is because
of the agents not so much the company
itself I'll put them up a couple extra
spots just to give them a little kick
number three is Nationwide and we're
coming across the same scenario
Nationwide is also working with
independent agents so they are ranked
number three as far as claims go I've
had a ton of good experiences with their
claims I've also pulled my hair out
because of their technology as far as
the agent goes some of the things is I
can see where the frustrations are where
the agent messes up or something
glitches out and it just hurts the
satisfaction now the company nine times
out of 10 takes care of it and is clean
and fixes all of the issues it's just
the process right so that c customer
satisfaction is going to be a little bit
lower with Nationwide they're ranked eth
as far as customer satisfaction now
we've already mentioned two of the main
companies that work with independent
agents if you are shopping around for
home or auto insurance I'll put a link
in the description below where you can
check multiple companies with one agent
so you can talk to them and work with
them so that they can help you find
which are good and great for your
situation and price point number two
which fell out of the slot from number
one which is Amica or Amika however you
want to say it I honestly don't know how
to say I've only seen written words from
them instead of hearing it but they have
been a great company they're a little
bit selective so they don't do every
state and they've actually Fallen quite
a bit I've done a couple videos on them
myself as far as their customer
satisfaction but they are ranked second
for the claims and for customer
satisfaction which was a little bit
surprising because their satisfaction
surveys have dropped the year before a
lot more than that the number one
company currently is Eerie Insurance
surprising to me to be honest with you I
haven't heard much if anything of them
but their home insurance is at the top
of the rankings this is from JD Power so
this is ranked over 5,000 Plus Homes on
a survey that they've done for home
insurance but if you're trying to decide
the best fit am I going Erie am I going
to Amica or MAA am I going State Farm am
I going Nationwide that's where you
probably want to find out what are my
options if you're wanting to understand
the insurance coverages for home
insurance I'll link my home insurance
101 video here if you want to see the
worst five companies in this list I'll
link that video here as well I'm Mark
with think Insurance I'll see you in the
next one
