video I've been sick with the flu for a

few days

so I can't really listen to IMS but I

can make it up for you by talking a

little bit about cables and my top 12

favorite IM

IMS

so starting with the key fine

clar here with the really

nice aquamarine blue green Zin

cable I use the duno SNS tips on this

set and this is right now currently the

only planar in my top 12 I quite like

this

set doesn't really sound like a plan

I feel like it's um feel like it's

pretty neutral

tonality and has nice basic base for for

a plan or fast too so I enjoy it with a

lot of different music next up we have

the Heidi

ms3 here I use the tangu Sanai balance

ear

tips uh I like this set even though like

it's really warm extreme v-shaped kind

of but it has the tuning nozzles so I

can adjust the tonality a little

bit another Zin cable this gold and

white I think it goes with it really

well gold with the golden accents on the

on the face

plate and yeah the set is my dance music

set or EDM set or stuff like that like

uh pop music that has a lot of party

the Phoenix call

Kera or

Kera very beautiful I might be doing a

review on this I haven't done it

yet it's actually a tree bre set for

like 130

USD uh really interesting weird kind of

tuning um but I like it there's uh again

tangu Sanji balanced ear tips I like

these ear tips a lot for anything that

uh I feel like can use a bit help with

the vocals or or just sounds better with

enhanced vocals so yeah and yet another

Zin aftermarket cable actually the

Phoenix calls stock cable is pretty cool

pretty cool looking

but I think this one with this sort of a

like a c almost like a sea theme to it

like water green and and blue it fits

the I think it fits the face plates

really

nicely all

right uh next we have the Kiwi ears

quintet this

Really Brave or ambitious uh

configuration it has four types of

different um drivers again with the

tangu Sanji balanced ear tips they work

on so many things and once again a zinch

after market

cable cool looking accessories and

the the style of these connectors and

stuff I buy cables mostly for Aesthetics

uh it's fine as long as they are like

good enough quality when they're put

together I don't really hear much that

much of a difference with cables with

sound as of yet haven't run into any any

any changes with these sets of

mine here's the Kira

holder with a

Z I think this cable was like oil

impregnated it's very

dark and the duno

SNS ear

tips this is a trip Bridge set as

well one DD one BA one uh

EST and

um yeah I I probably need to do a review

on this this set as well

I really like the base this has compared

to like the ms3 as I mentioned in the

the

review um the

ms3 might be a little

muddy they're similarly warm but the the

holder is refined it does the same

similar tonality better I feel but the

hoer costs like 300 USD

so uh I don't know if the difference is

worth the money

but we'll see we'll see how I feel in

the in the review if I do

it uh here's the a performer

8 uh you might be wondering why it's so

low basically on my top list but in a

sense I almost like all these 12 iems as

much well not really of course the top

is the top

but uh my problem with the E performer 8

is that uh it

has slightly fatiguing treble for me not

usually treble averse but I guess it's

hitting the same resonance as my my

natural Resonance of my air Canal

so uh it doesn't at least when measured

it doesn't look look fatiguing or too

much but I found it that that I can't

really listen into this set for too long

so maybe I'll drop it off from the top

list completely I mean it's still a

great set great

technicalities I I like like it a lot

but if I can't listen to a set the whole

day I don't know if there's

a point calling it one of my favorites

know so oh and that's another Zin cable

and that's another one with the tangu

Sanai

balanced

okay here's the Kiwi ears Orchestra

light this one is my first uh reviewed

set really pretty with the blue and

white face plate again sunai balanced

again Zin

cable they are all Zin cables almost

almost I like this set I still really

love this set the relaxed tuning the

surprisingly good base from all ba

configuration yeah and this s cable is

so pretty so pretty

golden accessories have this golden

shine to

them yes yes

yes uh here is the top

five uh binary

Acoustics uh collaboration with giz

audio

and uh yeah with this huge Zin

cable very cool

looking I like the contrasting of the

colors with this cable again duno SNS

pretty much my two favorite ear tips

right now the duno SNS and the tangui

balanced uh wonderful vocal set Japan is

still uh Chapan is still my my among my

favorites for

vocals uh probably only beaten by the

next

one another one wearing a zinch

aftermarket

cable like Royal

golden Zim got EA 1,000

fat Fat's Last

Theorem yeah tanai

balanced there you can see the passive

resonator

vent so it has one DD and one basically

passive DD that's moving along with the

with the main

driver uh amazing vocal set amazing

treble great

technicalities I don't see my view

changing on this set anytime soon soon

I'll be getting the um EA 500 LM soon

but uh let's see let's see I just don't

feel like it can really beat this but

maybe simgot will surprise me you know

simgot has been doing weird things to

their

lineup beating their own more expensive

IMS with their new cheaper IM all all

right top three already a performer 5 I

actually do prefer this over the the

performer eight quite a bit quite a bit

it's really another really pretty one

and yes these two sets are by far the

most comfortable IM IMS of all of

these another very pretty Zin

aftermarket cable one of my favorite

ones again tangu and balanced your tips

yes I like them I put them on

everything because that's the way I

am uh well mostly actually it's about

the the pattern on the on the surface it

relieves pressure this

slowly slowly lets out air when you're

wearing it you know kind of a labyrinth

Labyrinth that uh slowly relieves

pressure uh this set does have vents but

but even with sets that have vents uh I

find it helps with

Comfort yes performer 5 All Around Fun

performer I think it works with all my

music that's why it's in top three

pretty much and that's what um my top

three is all

about next one is the tangu nura and the

nura well this

is one of the most beautiful imem

on the

market no doubt about that

one and it has a really beautiful cable

this is a a boutique custom cable from

uh

Gladiator they have this cool Gladiator

helmets with uh VI bl's um

termination and yeah very pretty the

name of the cable is the Rubino

Harmony uh the Nea really relaxed

smooth I can I can listen to it all day

there's nothing offensive about it

uh the lack of

subbase uh is its only weakness really

otherwise it's it's a great set maybe

slightly overpriced but you can find it

for

$360 or

something uh but I still I really like

it and the only one I put above the

nura a little bit of a spoiler alert but

yes I do

think the tangu shanu gate is the best

imem I have

currently and my favorite the tonality

is very similar to the nura but the gate

has a DD that has a

good base it's not too much it's very

reference level very

neutral and um this isn't the stock

cable this is a

zinch uh a really nice Zin

cable duno SNS and I forgot to mention

but the Nea of course has the tangu

sunshine balanced so I think uh between

all these sets you only see duno SNS and

T sunai but that's that's the kind of

weirdo I am but yeah um review is

incoming for the gate as soon as um I

recover fully and um yeah should be

should be in a in a few days

hopefully but yes this has been Java
