Q & A
What is UGC content, and why is it popular for freelancers?
-UGC stands for User Generated Content, which refers to videos made by users, often showcasing a product or service. It's popular because it's easy to create using just a phone, and companies pay for this content as it feels authentic and relatable to their audience.
What basic equipment do you need to start creating UGC content?
-All you need is your mobile phone to record yourself talking about a product or service. A teleprompter app can be used to read scripts easily while recording.
How can freelancers maximize their visibility when offering UGC content services on Fiverr?
-Freelancers can create multiple gigs in different UGC categories, such as UGC ads, organic UGC, and UGC videos. This increases their visibility and potential for attracting more clients.
What is product research, and how can a freelancer offer it as a service?
-Product research involves helping clients find trending products, analyzing competition, and suggesting keywords for listing products on platforms like Amazon. Freelancers can offer in-depth analysis, keyword research, and supplier recommendations to help clients succeed in online marketplaces.
What skills are required for product research, and how can beginners start?
-While product research doesn't require advanced skills, it involves identifying trending products and competition levels in specific niches. Beginners can start by learning how to research market trends and competition, offering basic research packages to clients.
Why is voiceover work a good option for freelancers, and what equipment is required?
-Voiceover work is a good option for those who prefer not to be on video and have a good speaking voice. The primary investment is a good quality microphone, and freelancers should set up a space with soundproofing to minimize echoes.
How can freelancers reduce competition in the voiceover market?
-Freelancers can narrow their offerings by providing voiceovers in specific languages, genders, or niches. Marketing themselves in their native language and emphasizing their unique qualities (e.g., male or female voice, specific accent) can help them stand out.
What is copywriting, and what types of services can freelancers offer?
-Copywriting involves creating written content for various needs, such as scripts, website content, ad copy, blog posts, and more. Freelancers can offer a range of services, including writing for specific niches or media, which broadens their client base.
What challenges do freelancers face in copywriting, and how can they overcome them?
-Copywriting can be mentally taxing, requiring creativity and focus. To overcome this, freelancers can break down the writing process into steps, such as structuring content with a clear flow (e.g., hook, problem, solution, call to action).
What is user testing, and why is it a good option for beginners?
-User testing involves evaluating websites or apps to ensure everything works properly and is user-friendly. It’s an easy and accessible service for beginners, as it requires basic internet skills and allows freelancers to provide feedback by creating videos or written reports.

The speaker suggests narrowing down the competition by offering services in one's native language or specifying gender, which can make it easier to attract clients. They also note that while voiceover work requires some initial investment in equipment, it can be very profitable, with examples of gigs charging $65 for 100 words.

The speaker mentions usertesting.com as a platform for this type of work but suggests freelancing on Fiverr for potentially higher earnings. With low competition and simple tasks, user testing is accessible for anyone, including stay-at-home individuals looking to earn extra money. as a Fiverr freelancer this is what my past few days have looked like order after order
ranging anywhere from $150 to $1,500 and right now my daily average income from fiver alone is
probably somewhere between $6 to $900 and that's exactly what gave me the idea for this video to
help any beginner Freelancers out there who right now believe that they have no skills or valuable
service that potential clients would pay for so here are five five gig ideas which any beginner
freelancer can start as of right now to build a five figure a month business with virtually
no skills and very little investment to start with okay the first one I want to talk about
is ugc content now if you have no idea what ugc is it basically stands for user generated
content and these are those videos that you see all over Tik Tok or Instagram of people maybe
talking about a product or talking about some kind of service now these are very simple very
straight forward and really all you'll need is your mobile phone and what you're going to do is
record yourself just talking about that product or service now ugc is huge and many companies
out there are utilizing the use of ugc videos now if we go to Fiverr and we type in ugc you can see
that at the moment the competition is not really that high we're about 8,000 results but there is
oh and there is me right there so and I'm on the first page actually just just pointing that out
so uh let's go have a look at categories and you can see actually fiver offer multiple different
ugc categories so we have ugc ads organic ugc and ugc videos now there's nothing stopping
you from putting three different gigs one in each of these categories that will open
up your Marketplace as well but for now let's go for organic ugc because organic
ugc is what I think a lot of you are going to be capable of doing right from your home
the comfort of your sofa it's very easy because this is the ugc content where all you're asked to
do is film yourself normally speak in somebody's script so let's take a little look um okay we've
got let's let's try this woman right here I'll create ugc testimonials as an adult female okay
so right now we can see she's got fre orders in Q her starting price starts at $70 and this is for
15 seconds so this is the way ugc normally works works most Freelancers charge for 15
seconds 30 seconds and 1 minute so if we look okay 30 seconds $90 and premium $120 for 60
seconds now just to show you how easy this is let's go to one of her videos let's go this one
for example okay great feedback there thank you for your help with my project very quick and had
amazing quality okay just to show you guys what this looks like so all she's doing she set up
her phone maybe on a tripod leaning up against something whatever but she set up her phone and
she is talking directly into her phone now this could be about a product a service anything it
could be literally anything all that's happened is the client has sent her a script then she has
copy and pasted that script into a teleprompter now the teleprompters you can download any kind
of teleprompter application on your phone and it just means that you can paste your script into
your phone screen so as your phone is recording you and filming you the script will be scrolling
so you can literally read straight from the screen and that's it she's sending raw footage like this
starting from $70 so this one is 40 this one's one minute long so somebody has paid $120 for
this simple video of her talking and it's taken her let's say five minutes max to pump out so
it's very easy money so this is a simple version of organic ugc that pretty much anybody can do uh
if we have a little look if we go back now this is more an advanced version of ugc this is maybe
after a while if you want to invest a little bit more money into your setup and production so this
guy does really well um he's got $250 for a 15c video but he also adds editing in with
this as well so if we look at his 60 seconds okay $300 for 60 seconds four orders in q top
rated seller Pro seller people keep coming back he's doing really well if we have a look at his
videos so as you can see he's got the full editing here he's got the microphone he's
got the nice lighting setup he's probably using a professional camera and not his mobile phone
but this is the level which you can get to if you want to and then of course you can charge
a lot more money now this is not typical ugc video content this is more just talking head
but typical ugc is that raw organic look where people are literally just filming with their
mobile phone and that's what so many companies are paying for right now okay the second gig idea
I want to talk about is product research now this doesn't really take too much skill what this is is
basically clients will come to you and ask you for your opinion on different products which could be
trending or the best products which they could start selling on Amazon or Ebay so your job is
just to do product research to see for example maybe how the competition one product would have
or if a product is selling really well so if we just take a quick look okay we've got
7,000 results so it's not a crazy amount and generally these people so let's let's take a
little look at this woman here so already you can see she's five a choice she has a thousand plus
feedback so this is not the best example for any beginner because she's already well established
but just to show you what she's offering okay 19 orders in que that's a lot and obviously she's
starting at $90 or $100 so we're talking almost $2,000 she's making just from the orders in Q
and that's if her clients have purchased her basic package if they've purchased her premium
then we're talking double that amount now she does offer a lot this woman she gives for example let's
say the basic so one product keyword research in-depth analysis budget breakdown and she also
offers suppliers so she actually tells you which supplies to use to Source this product so this
is great for clients who are Drop Shipping or just looking to start selling on Amazon now she kind of
does it to a very high level but if we go back and look at some of these other people let's go for
this guy okay four orders in Q he's only a level one but again he's doing keyword research data
analysis Supply info shipping cost profit margin calculations so this is kind of what product
research is all about now you don't have to go this detailed you don't have to offer suppliers um
the shipping costs and all of that you don't have to go that far but a lot of people happily pay you
to find out what trending products there are right now or what upand cominging products they should
be focused on now clients will probably approach you and tell you kind of what Niche that they are
in whether it's you know Health and Beauty Tech Electronics whatever and then it's your job to do
some research to find which products are selling really well what the level of competition with
that product is and then possibly what key words the client should use if they plan to list that
product on Amazon now anybody can do this this is something that might take a little bit more
research and take a little bit longer when starting just to figure out basically what
you need to be giving the client for them to be satisfied but as you can see a lot of people are
charging around the $100 Mark and there are a lot of people doing very well at this now if I were
to start doing this one thing I would recommend you see how this woman here her thumbnail is very
nice it's very clear it's it's nice it's fairly simple there's quite a bit of writing there but
if you look at all the others they don't look very nice they're a little bit too jam-packed so much
information on it it kind of looks very kind of old school marketing to be honest so that's one
thing I would focus on is your thumbnail how you can make it clear and concise and make it stand
out and one more thing what I would do if I were you and I wanted to start this I would also ask
upload a video of myself so you have the option to so if we for example click back on her you
have the option right here to actually put a video of yourself telling clients what it is that you'll
provide and videos will always sell your gig so much better than just a standard thumbnail would
all right gig number three and this one will take a little bit more investment but not too much and
that is voiceovers you see okay if you don't want to be on video that's fine you don't have
to be on video but you can always do voiceovers and many people are looking for good voiceovers
yes you're probably thinking to yourself yeah but AI has taken this over true it has in some
ways but AI is still not at the same level as a human voice if you have a authentic human voice
or you know you're good at voiceovers this could be a great one now the investment really doesn't
have to go to insane amounts all you really need is a very good micro mhone and then you can set up
somewhere in your house with soundproofing where it's going to drown out any Echoes that's all you
really need and as you can see with voiceovers okay there's 29,000 results here but I will show
you how to kind of bring that competition down so right now we've just searched for voiceover and we
are getting literally everybody and these guys are all charging per 100 words so a client will send
you a script per 100 words words you're looking at $65 maybe $40 $50 but now what we can actually
do is we can narrow this down so if English is not your first language that's no problem offer it in
your own language so let's say for example we've got look 62 different options here let's let's say
Italian okay now we have all Italian people yes first thing I notice is the price are a little
bit lower because maybe there's not such a high demand for Italian but generally these guys are
still killing it so this guy does offer $10 but he's got 772 feedback and it's the same you can
even narrow this down even more so for example people will be searching for genders as well
whether male or female so if you Market yourself with your own native language whether it's English
Italian Spanish whatever and then you can also Market yourself the you are a female voiceover or
a male voiceover so if you mark yourself very very specifically and not just this kind of General
marketing you'll be able to get clients doing voiceover very easily even though there's a lot
of competition it's about the way that you Market yourself so voice over is a great way if you don't
want to be on video but of course it does come with some investment for example you can pick up
one of these microphones for maybe around $2 $300 or something like like that of course you can get
different microphones but generally it will incur some investment from the beginning okay this is a
gig idea that I honestly recommend to pretty much everybody because it requires no investment and
basically everybody can do this because it's so simple and what it is is copyrighting now if we
look here I've just clicked on script writing and the reason I clicked on script writing is because
the fact is with copywriting there are so many different options that you have available to you
so for example you have script writing you have content for websites you have um you could even do
resumés blog posts you have so many if you go here on writing and translation you'll see all of these
options so for example we have ad copy sales copy social media copy cover letters podcast writing uh
proof reading you have so many different options here so if you are a copywriter even if you're
not a copywriter but you're relatively good at writing and to be honest I was never a copywriter
but right now for clients I create all of my own scripts because I've just relying on other people
it just doesn't work for me so I write all of my own scripts and to be completely honest one
thing I find with script writing is you just have to be creative you have to just figure out your
outlay so obviously you start with a hook maybe then you show the problem show the a solution and
maybe a call to action now you can you can change this structure any way you want but generally if
you're just a little bit creative with your writing you can do this it's honestly not a
problem and it's so easy to be a good copywriter or a half decent copywriter anyway so I've just
put in script writing we've got 6,000 results and all these guys are charging anywhere from $25 to
$250 but the Great about copyrighting is that you can put yourself in so many places so you
can create multiple gigs here and allocate each gig to a different service and copywriting I know
people who are making six figures a year easily with copywriting the only downside copywriting I
find is the effort it takes like for me I hate writing scripts and it takes such an effort to
sit there and start writing and be creative but if you're that type of person who enjoys that
and this is perfect like I say there are multiple different categories that you can put yourselves
into so this is going to open up your Marketplace to incredible amounts meaning that there's going
to be so many more client eyeballs on you because you're in all of these different categories so
copywriting content writing is definitely an easy one with zero investment needed all you need to do
is know how to write well and this is something that you can learn very easily after just doing
some research okay gig number five and this one is for literally everyone this one's even for all
like the stay-at-home moms out there who just want to make that extra money so this one is absolutely
great and it's user testing now there's even a website called user testing.com where you can
sign up pretty much as a freelancer and get paid now user testing is basically when people launch
their website or when they make changes to their website they want random people to go on there and
test it to make sure everything works every button clicks and goes to the place that it's meant to go
or for example everything is just working and it's ideal for a normal customer so this is the user
testing website and you can sign up here there's nothing stopping you from signing up and you can
start doing work on here now the money on the user testing.com website it's not great you will make
some money but it's not exactly fantastic you are best off freelancing so on Fiverr we have a whole
cast agree for user testing the competition is very low 1,900 results and generally people don't
charge a hell of a lot because the fact is it's quite an easy job so let's say for example okay
let's let's check her out okay I will test and review your website or app okay she's a top rated
seller she's got uh she's completed 621 orders on this one alone she has 330 feedback so for
$45 she will test one page and present a written summary report or a screen recorded video report
so in that report basically she will probably just say what she found was great about the page what
she thinks could be improved what she what is not working or directing customers to the wrong place
so all she's doing is basically just giving her honest opinion and feedback about the page that
she tests and of course you can charge more per page so five pages is $185 or the whole website
$250 so shy is top rated and the great thing about this is for a lot of these if you actually go
through and look at these um different Freelancers doing this a lot of them what they will actually
do is they will start creating a loom video the moment they log onto the website and basically
they will go through the website creating that loom video and just talking talking as they go
and saying about what is good what is bad so you don't have to actually create any summary report
all you then do is send them the loom video at the end once you've completed testing the website
and that's job done that is job done and you'll be paid for that that is what people are paying
for because the fact is to find somebody who's say reliable in your family or friends to test
your own website sometimes just isn't possible or they're going to be biased because they know you
but in this situation we have actual testers actual people people testing your website and
telling you hey this needs to change this is not good this one is great well done so user testing
is a very easy job to start doing how many orders will you get user testing I honestly don't think
you're going to be making tons of money but you will make some and like I say this is a great
one for people who I believe just want to make some extra cash user testing is very simple very
easy you do it from your computer and that's all there is to it so those are five five a gig ideas
that pretty much any newbie freelancer can start doing from day one and actually make five figures
a month if you want to now getting to five figures a month is not going to be easy don't get me wrong
this is not an easy stepping stone it is going to take effort but generally with all of these
depending on how you Market yourself how you make yourself look in how you stand out from the other
competition you could easily get to five figures a month if you want to so there we have it if you
guys have literally any questions whatsoever let me know in the comments below or you can
actually go ahead and book a call with me if you do want to start freelancing and you just want
some extra advice link is also in the description otherwise I'll see you guys in the next video
