Q & A
What is the main theme of the speaker's talk at the first edition of TEDx in Piazza Mario Pagano Antonio?
-The main theme of the speaker's talk is about opportunities and how they are not just a matter of luck, but can be constructed through proactive actions and the intersection of preparation and serendipity.
Why did the speaker feel the need to live in a 'glass bubble' during his adolescence?
-The speaker had to live in a 'glass bubble' during his adolescence due to the complex and challenging reality of his region, where he had to be cautious and watchful, and where friendships needed to be solid for mutual support.
How did the speaker's perspective change when he moved to Potenza?
-The speaker's perspective changed when he moved to Potenza because he found a sense of security and amazement in being able to walk through the historic center at night without fear, a feeling he had never experienced before.
What does the speaker believe is the key to seizing opportunities?
-The speaker believes that seizing opportunities is not just about luck but requires proactiveness and the willingness to be proactive, as well as the intersection of hard work and serendipity.
Why does the speaker argue that Italy represents 70% of the world's cultural heritage despite being only 0.6% of the world's population?
-The speaker argues this point to highlight the unique opportunities and richness that Italy possesses, suggesting that despite its small population size, it has a disproportionately large cultural influence and heritage, which can be leveraged for new opportunities.
What does the speaker think about the generation he belongs to, and what challenges does he see they face?
-The speaker sees his generation as the most educated in Italy's history but also as a 'hinge' generation, caught between the younger and older generations, and facing the challenge of creating opportunities in a country and regions that are often perceived as lacking.
What does the speaker suggest is the role of the younger generation in Italy's future?
-The speaker suggests that the younger generation should be the driving force behind a cultural revolution, demonstrating that it is possible to achieve success and create opportunities, even in places that are not traditionally seen as hubs for youth or innovation.
Why did Potenza decide to apply to become the Italian city of young people, according to the speaker?
-Potenza decided to apply to become the Italian city of young people to challenge the notion that it is not a city for the young and to show that it has the potential to offer a different perspective and opportunities for youth, contrary to the common belief.
What is the significance of the term 'serendipity' in the context of the speaker's talk?
-In the context of the speaker's talk, 'serendipity' refers to the unexpected opportunities that arise when one is actively engaged in their work or life journey. It is not just luck but the result of being open and proactive in one's endeavors.
How does the speaker differentiate between artificial intelligence and collective intelligence?
-The speaker differentiates between artificial intelligence, which is based on statistical algorithms and past data, and collective intelligence, which is centered around community and emotional intelligence, driven by love and the human capacity to connect and innovate together.
What is the speaker's view on the role of technology in creating new opportunities?
-The speaker views technology as a tool that can assist in creating new opportunities, but emphasizes that it is the collective intelligence and emotional engagement of a community that truly drives innovation and change.

[Applauso]
candela buongiorno buongiorno a tutti
vetro E lì ho iniziato a percepire o a
capire che nella vita per avere una
prospettiva
Complesso
dove già in adolescenza Devi guardarti
le spalle devi condividere amicizie
solide Perché ognuno si guarda le
proprie spalle con gli altri quando sono
arrivati qui quando sono arrivato qui la
mia prospettiva è cambiata e da lì ho
iniziato a capire
o a ragionare su cosa significa
opportunità perché molto spesso sento in
quindi ho cominciato a pensare a capire
tutto e allora io ho iniziato a studiare
Bisogna parlare coi numeri e quindi ho
cominciato a studiare e a vedere che
l'altro giorno proprio è uscito qualche
vita no un po' come ci diceva Francesco
costruisci
[Applauso]
più formata in un
luogo strano che è
l'Italia strano perché siamo un popolo
io dico da
prestazione quando c'è
da vincere Matera 2019 quando c'è da
vincere un mondiale quando c'è da
rispondere alla
pandemia siamo in grado di lavorare
insieme di stare insieme di diventare
una comunità
ma perdiamo nella
quotidianità siamo molto individuali e
questo non è perché siamo cattivi e
perché la nostra storia noi siamo la
storia dei 6000
comuni siamo la storia dei welfi bianchi
welfi neri welfi Ghibellini Ognuno ha
cercato di raccontare se stesso e di
emergere rispetto agli altri poi siamo
iniziato a
restare o come me
mica oggi l'emigrazione
giovanile Io guardo in platea e vedo
tocca all mia generazione farla quella
l'opportunità come ho potuto scrivere
serendipità pensate a cristofo Colombo
esperienza professionale io ho
conseguito l'ultimo Master a Roma 3 di
secondo livello proprio in Economia e
Steve Jobs siate curiosi siate folli e
ci sta
dando Pensate un po' ne parlerà qualcuno
io c'ho un'idea
differente Oggi tutti parliamo di
intelligenza artificiale o tutti cercano
cuore oltre l'ostacolo e in amore qual è
straordinaria
è nostro compito essere pronti con un
cuore entusiasta e una mente determinata
e afferrare al volo quando si presenta
un'opportunità Grazie
