Transcripts
all right so do you find yourself being
too self-conscious of yourself and your
business and your leadership when you
want to share a message or when you want
to just give and pour into other people
in the world this is especially true
with leaders and entrepreneurs or folks
that want to get messages out there
about their company about their clients
or about how they do their services
right because if you're in a business or
you're working in a company and you're
like gosh I really want to connect with
folks on social media whether it's
LinkedIn or another platform or a
YouTube channel and share some
incredible content so they get to know
my business but what holds us back many
times is we're worried about how we look
how we sound what judgments people might
have around us do we do it perfectly
what if we make a mistake when we're
talking right all of that stuff holds us
back and is almost like us being too
worried about how we look versus getting
the message out there versus helping
serving pouring into other people so I
want to challenge you this week if
there's been something that you've been
thinking about writing a Blog doing a
video putting a message out there
sharing some content but you've noticed
yourself feel worried about what are
people going to say are they going to
disagree which is great cuz then you can
get great dialogue going are they going
to judge me get out of our own way like
let's set that aside so we can actually
serve and kind of tell ourselves okay
that's normal however it's holding us
back and I can just tell you I was just
talking to someone the other day who
said you know once I got out of my own
way I was able to really feel connected
to my calling and my true purpose CU I
wasn't worried about what people were
thinking so as a business leader as a
business owner as an entrepreneur as a
business professional if you have
something you want to share with the
world speak authentically in it it's
okay to worry a little bit about you
know how am I going to land the message
are they going to like it but that's
very normal we're all thinking that and
when we get out of our own way and we
don't worry about that we can actually
serve and we can actually deliver and
pour into others and give that great
message so as you go into your week
think about one way you can do this one
way you can really pay forward the
knowledge the information the service
you have so you can invite more people
into your business share about your
company or share about your leadership
and you'll be amazed at how much that
will help you move out of your own
conversation of self-worth and into
service for others
