knock knock who's there oh my God what
the heck oh no this is not good this is
not
good hey what's up my fellow Twisters
welcome back to another Redstone map
showcase today we are going to be taking
a look at the top 10 redstone traps in
Minecraft so let's go ahead and get
started now this map is in no particular
order But it includes a lot of really
cool traps that will either drop you off
of the worlds or explode you into a
thousand different pieces now this map
was put together by you seal this you
can go check him out on the forms page
down below but let's go ahead and begin
now at number 10 we have the infinite
falling trap this one is really sneaky
and very evil basically Step On His
pressure plate and you fall down into
this bit of cobweb now what's really
really evil about this is that once you
kind of fall down past the cobweb which
could take a couple of minutes you fall
onto that pressure plate which is then
going to push you back up into a circle
and then back into the same exact hole
so you're basically falling for infinite
amount of time all right so I'm just
going to go ahead and speed this up and
then once we get to the bottom I'll show
you exactly how this works so here we
are almost at the bottom and boom check
that out we basically get kind of ping
pong arounds back into the same area
like I mentioned and as you can see I am
still falling obviously if you had a
sword you could possibly escape from
this but if you don't you know know that
this is down here obviously this will
just be a bad day for you so I managed
to get free now let's go ahead and take
a look at the next Redstone creation
this one is going to be a mining trap
that uses a block update in order to
kill us now of course this works best in
a cave because you could place down our
diamond ore and it attracts people to
break the block so let's just go ahead
and grab our diamond pick and just break
that block over there and you guys can
see what will happen and check it out
guys we basically fall down into the
bottom of the world of course you could
add lava down here or just anything that
you want and that will kill your enemies
so yeah that's pretty much the Trap as
you can see the block update is right on
that corner and if you go back into game
mode creative and replace that block you
will see that the system will no longer
be activated so let's just jump up boom
there we go and everything is now reset
so the reset value on this one is pretty
good and I can say that for the next one
one all right so the next trap is going
to be our TNT trap and you guys probably
know what this is going to do all right
so as we step over this trip hook wire
right over here it's going to spawn down
a TNT from the ceiling through the block
and explode this contraption so we only
have one try at this so let's just do it
all right I'm going to walk over and as
you can see the TNT will fall from the
ceiling you can walk past it though so
it's not really that great of a trap but
as you can see it does a lot of damage
and one TNT worth of damage to be exact
so yeah that does work very nice and
basically what happens is that the
Piston you could already see it that it
was still here but basically the Piston
kind of pushes the block out of the way
and then our TNT is dispensed and then
it falls through the ceiling then onto
the ground so it's pretty cool moving on
to number seven we have another block
update trap except this one is a bit
different it involves redstone ore if
you guys don't know when you walk over
redstone ore in Minecraft it has an
activated mode and you can actually use
that activated mode in order to get an
input for anything that you want so in
our case we have a trap and what's cool
about this is that if you step over our
redstone ore even if it has carpet on
top like once this wears off it does you
know update the block either way so you
can basically step over this and
activate the Trap without even knowing
it so let's go ahead and test this out
by simply walking straight forward over
that ore and boom we fell out of the map
and of course we would die now yet again
you could make it go anywhere and you
could also use this trap to activate any
system so it's really cool and I quite
like that one all right so at number six
we have ourselves a drop off trap this
one is a bit more brutal because you
kind of step over these STP hook wires
and you basically get pushed off of the
map as you can see so it's really like
weird and you can put this like on a
ceiling or something or like on a roof
like on a top of a roof not a ceiling
and you could push someone off of a tall
Tower if you're being really mean but
yeah it's really cool because um those
Pistons hide inside the wall so you
can't really see them and to reset it
there's actually a button over here to
do that so check it out that's
definitely pretty cool so normally there
would be like a a roof over here and if
no one's paying attention there'll just
be an opening in the floor or you can
have like lava on either end like to
decorate the sides and they're like oh
I'll never walk into the lava that's a
huge pathway but then you walk over and
then you get pushed in because you're a
dumb all right so let's go ahead and
take a look at the next invention this
one is similar to the TNT trap except it
uses potions which is good if you don't
want to blow up everything so yeah let's
go ahead and step over here as you can
see I'm on creative mode so you can't
really you know see that effect but what
happens is that we get hit with some
instant damage so let's go back around
here and try that one more time boom as
you can see it only does a few damage
which is not ideal for killing you but
it still is a trap and it still does
hurt you all right so next up we have an
arrow chest at number four I'm not
really sure like the use of this because
it's kind of weird but basically
whenever you place down a single item
into that chest you get hit with an
arrow so I guess you get penalized for
adding in only one item I guess you have
to add in the full stack and even even
if you add in like four Redstone it
still shoots you so I have no idea what
this is for I guess it's just for being
mean or whatever but it's a pretty cool
trap it doesn't really kill you but it's
pretty interesting to say the least all
right so at number three we have have my
favorites or one of my favorites which
is the pitfall trap this one's pretty
simple we have a front door over here or
just a door in general we hit that
button and then we fall off of the map
and I am standing on a safe zone so if
you're standing right over here and you
hit the button which makes sense since
the buttons like you know like one block
right after it you will fall down into
The Nether or yet again into lava either
way it's a pretty cool trap and the name
pretty much speaks to itself since it is
a pitfall all right so now let's go down
all the way to the other end and take a
look at the next creation so I'm not
sure what this is going to be but I'm
pretty sure it is very cool all right so
that was our pitfall trap over here we
have a arrow barrage trap which is at
number two now remember how I was
mentioning the redstone ore well here we
have the redstone ore again this time
we're going to use it in a different way
and let's go ahead and set our spawn
point just so we don't die or when we do
die we spawn back in the same position
and now we can test out this contraption
so now when I go ahead and walk forward
over a carpet it activates this Arrow
barrage as contained behind our
paintings and I would basically not die
so that's a bit weird oh my gosh I have
so many arrows stuck to my body but as
you can see it does do a lot of damage
to you and most of the time it should
kill you and you can also add in potions
and whatnot and just like spam you know
whoever walks into this area but it's
really cool and as you can see it's um
is activated just by stepping over these
blocks over there you can reset it and
just you know put your arrows back into
that trap so it didn't work out the way
I wanted it to work but as you can see
that is pretty much that system so at
number one we have the TNT tree trap now
like I said this is in no particular
order so this might not be the best
invention out of all of them but you
guys can tell me which one was the best
in the comment section down below either
way let's go ahead and try to harvest
this tree say for instance uh you trying
to prank your friend or whatever and you
place down one of these trees you could
go ahead and um actually grab a
different pickaxe because uh I'm using
world edit let's see can I punch this
yeah let's just go ahead and punch this
they're trying to mine that tree all of
a sudden they hit it and oh no a bunch
of TNT gets activated and boom the floor
just goes away and you get freaking like
sent down into The Nether for some
reason I took no absolutely no explosion
damage from that which is just really
crazy nothing could kill me today except
for that huge fall but we besides that
I'm pretty Invincible anyways guys I
think that's basically going to wrap up
today's top 10 list I hope you guys
enjoyed it I think this is going to be
the last top 10 that I do for a while if
you guys want to see more top 10
Redstone creations and top 10 command
block and stuff like that tell me in the
comment section down below I would love
