I am on my way to Melbourne to go and

see my 14-year-old son in Australia

tomorrow I haven't seen him since he was

3 months old this is going to be a very

crazy Journey for me uh I mean it has

been a very crazy journey and can't

believe that this day is actually

happening it doesn't actually feel like

it's happening it feels like it's

happening more while I'm speaking to you

guys about it because I can finally

think and talk about how I feel and just

go relive the moments again so it's been

a very crazy Journey guys nobody here on

YouTube will obviously know that I have

a son and probably most of my new

friends don't know that I have a son um

why am I filming this and putting it on

YouTube I have a YouTube channel my

14-year-old son as well has a YouTube

channel we wanted to make this little

video together and he's just as excited

as I am for us to meet each other and

the craziest thing is that after all

this time I honestly had no idea how it

was going to go on I had no idea how he

was going to be because after so many

years you can imagine he has no idea

what happen so a little bit of a back

story when he was born we were living in

New Zealand he was 3 months old um for

the first 3 months we were in New

Zealand we were super young guys I'm 31

now so I had him on my I was about 16

yeah we were both quite quite young

parents but she has family in Australia

she went to her family in Australia and

then they stayed there so the next

couple of years guys of my life then was

like going to court and trying to work

out how we can see him what we can do

but there were so many emotions evoled

when we were that age and I feel like

when you're that age you don't even know

how to deal with your emotions it's just

I don't know it was kind of chaos so so

when it first happened and when he first

left I was quite upset and but I was

always proud of him you know I I was

always proud of being a dad and I

remember I moved to England because I

was thinking nothing is happening here

I'm back in New Zealand anymore so I

moved to England and I remember being so

proud and telling everybody over there

and the response that the people in

England gave me majority of them was

like oh you're out here on your big OE

and you don't and you have a son not

knowing that I went to court for a year

of my life as a teenager like I don't

know what other teenagers are doing but

that was my reality as a teenager so

that would happen a lot and I would tell

so many people that I have a son and I'm

excited to see him again and um like

tell them the process what's happening

and they would be like you're such an

irresponsible dad you're here so I

stopped talking about him it's not even

about being judged I don't even I

couldn't care less what anybody thinks

because at the end of the day this is my

life this is what I went through after

all of this the one thing I thought when

I was around 25 I said okay all I want

to do is just build a build an Empire

build a huge life and whenever Blaze is

ready I'm going to be ready for him no

matter what questions he has no matter

what he wants to ask me and everything

and I will be there for him when he is

ready I'm going to have this whole life

that he can be a part of and that's what

I said I said I'm like that was that was

my final decision so now I'm in Spain

building this huge life up I haven't

heard from him guys since he was a kid

I'm going to read the the first message

that I got from him so now my 30th

birthday is approaching I'm in a very

good space with my business everything

is just good I'm happy with myself I'm

just life is good we are going to relive

probably one of the happiest moments in

my life and I forget how happy this made

me come to my 30th birthday I'm sitting

around this table with a group of people

that I just love so much I had such a

good night I had such a good weekend and

I get this message on Facebook hello I'm

blae your son I think and I found your

profile uh in Facebook you may in the

may know section I'm sorry if this is

the wrong person I was sitting in the

restaurant that day guys and I couldn't

believe it I was like

how like how could life even just be

this good to

me it's my 30th birthday my business is

booming I have a whole bunch of people

around me that I love and life is just

really starting to get good and then I

received this message at my actual

birthday dinner like it's crazy like

thinking about it now going back to this

you guys because there was such a huge

buildup so I waited for the whole

weekend to be over because I had people

staying with me for the full weekend of

my birthday and I was like I'm going to

wait until the party is over and

everything stopped and then I'm going to

message bla and just tell him exactly

how I feel and and everything so this is

what I wrote blae I've waited so long

for you to be old enough to talk to you

directly we can talk anytime um my mom

your grandmother also said you can speak

to her anytime and she would love to

hear from you I speak about you often

damn sorry guys I didn't think I was

going to be like

this but it's more happiness like how

happy I felt uh I speak about you often

you also contacted me on my birthday

which was one of the best presents I

could have asked for I know you don't

know me but I love you son and I hope to

hear from you soon the same morning I

get a message back from him maybe about

20 minutes later like Dad with

exclamation mark I didn't know uh you

would get back to me happy birthday for

the other day it took me years to build

up the courage to message you I'm

turning 13 soon and I'm going into high

school probably strange because you

never saw me go to school uh because you

weren't around for long I also saw your

YouTube video pop up un recommended a

long time ago and I had no idea it was

you until Facebook which is the craziest

thing that he had seen videos on YouTube

because we're into similar things so he

already saw me on YouTube guys can you

believe that like like can you believe

that on my 30th birthday it's like I

said I said I want to build this like

super dope amazing life

and the world was just like here you go

you guys are going to come for me in the

comments and you guys are going to be

conversation we started video calling

all the time we just for the last 2

years we've just been in such good Conta

he is seriously like my he's my little

I can actually have him in my life we

get a hang out together but yeah that's

basically how the story has unfolded

guys in a nutshell I honestly didn't

think that blae was going to come to me

the way he did because I just know even

from my personal situation my dad was

around in certain situations like even

though certain situations were not good

so for me now here for Blaze I just want

to do the best that I can for him and be

the best that I can and just let him

build and just enjoy this super dope

life and be someone that he can come to

no matter what he wants to talk about or

I don't know life is cool guys I life is

hard at the time and then when and then

it's cool and he's just so cool like I

know you're going to be watching this

seriously I'm lost for words at how

everything in the end just worked out so

almost like the day that we reconnected

literally going to Melbourne to go and

see him and spend time with him I

the back of my mind I tried letting go

but it always just crept back to me it

was really really hard not to think

about it or just go damn where is my

father you know on some days in 2020 I

started to consider reaching out I just

didn't know how he'd feel about me or if

things would like work out between us

well I didn't message him full stop the

next year in

2021 I considered it more but I still

didn't make my mind up so I left it I

put it aside once again but then 2022

came around and specifically September

came around I remember I was at my Pop's

house um there was like a barbecue and a

party going on up the stairs and then it

struck me like geez man should I just

like bite the bullet and do it like

what's the worst thing that can happen

will he like me will he get back to me

like will he even care about me what

will he think about me and my heart was

baiting rapidly but I sent it and then

few days later specifically 3 days later

on the 19th of September he messaged me

back which I wasn't even expecting and I

was expecting if he did message me back

it would just be like something like go

away you know like I don't want you in

my life something because I didn't know

the story and like what happened in the

past but anyway I got a message back and

then like the message was positive and

after the message we just started

talking every
