Transcripts
this is Apple's Flagship iPhone lineup
and this is the iPhone 15 plus and next
year Apple will be killing it here's
why first let's backtrack these are the
new iPhones the iPhone 6 and the iPhone
6 Plus Apple introduced the first plus
iPhone in 2014 with the iPhone 6 the
first iPhone to come in multiple sizes
and this generation of iPhone became the
best selling iPhones of all time selling
over 222 million units why to put that
into perspective if you take 100 people
at that time three of them would have
had an iPhone 6 now that might not sound
like a lot but the only phones that sold
better than the six are Nokia phones
that look like this anyway Apple
realized that making more iPhones and
bigger iPhones was a success so for
every year after that they released two
Flagship iPhones in different sizes
until they sold three iPhones at a time
then four in 2020 Apple did something
different they had already rebranded the
plus mod into the pro Max but then they
went back to the drawing board and
released this the iPhone 12 mini the
dream phone of many going small instead
of big Size Doesn't Matter Apple may
have thought but really it does although
many praised its Flagship specs in a
tiny design it didn't sell well after a
2-year run Apple killed the mini and
replaced it with the iPhone 14 plus now
Apple's selling two big phones one for
the entry level Flagship and one for the
Pro level the plus brought the best
battery life ever in an iPhone which the
mini just didn't have and they continued
selling it with the iPhone 15 plus and
rumor has it the next iPhone 16 will
also keep the plus model but not next
year this is the iPhone 17 the iPhone 16
isn't even out yet and we already know
pretty good chunck of info about the
2025 iPhone and one major change is that
the plus iPhone is gone now this could
be because of a while variety of reasons
number one the iPhone 14 and 15 plus
have been the worst selling iPhone in
their respective lineups the same
problem the Min had which is the same
reason why they killed it number two the
pro Max the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the
most expensive iPhone Apple sells today
yet it's still the bestselling iPhone
Apple makes right now and that may be
because Apple users tend to care about
what other people think and want others
to think they're Superior or they just
want the best of the best and number
three which you could be thinking Apple
realized is that it sells too many
iPhones just look at the lineup today
Apple sells seven different iPhone
models so even though there's an iPhone
for every price point it's still really
confusing for the consumer what to
choose but the reason why reason number
three isn't right is this the iPhone 17
slim according to the information this
is why apple is killing the plus model
iPhone to replace it with an allnew
model which as you can infer from the
name Will employ a much thinner design
than any other iPhone yet the new iPhone
will also feature a smaller 6.6 in
display and a Light chassis Allowed by
the use of aluminum it's a part of
Apple's new initiative to make all their
products thinner again not just the
iPhone but also the watch and the
MacBook but if you look at the iPad Pro
thin means premium so with that logic
this slim iPhone should be placed at the
top of the iPhone lineup and that's
exactly what the rumors say the most
expensive iPhone ever even more so than
the pro Max what shall we call it well
the iPhone 17 slim could actually be the
iPhone 17 Ultra the ultra iPhone that
we've been waiting for for years and it
will join this even more confusing
lineup of Flagship iPhone the iPhone 17
the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro
Max now why would Apple have its most
expensive iPhone not be the biggest well
they've done it before the iPhone 10 was
released in 2017 and it wasn't the
biggest iPhone at the time that title
went to the 8 plus but but the 10 still
offered the most advanced Tech Apple
could offer now I have a theory on why
apple is making this move when they
replaced the iPhone Mini with the plus
model in 2022 it effectively placed it
just $100 under the pro which although
had a smaller screen and worse battery
offered so much more features like a
faster chip an extra camera promotion
and so much more for just $100 more and
the pro Max which offered a bigger
screen and way better battery life was
just 100 more after that so Apple may
have just been upselling customers this
whole time which could have been the
entire point of the plus lineup with the
introduction of this new slim or Ultra
model at the top of the line it's more
than likely that Apple will place it in
their lineup just a little bit over the
pro Max say
$1,299 just to push you to get the more
expensive model I mean that's the goal
right Apple wants you to spend all your
money on their products and this new
iPhone is really just another way to get
you to do that and best believe I will
fall for it will you
