six new gig apps no one's really talking
about for some reason in 2024 maybe it's
non-traditional work or maybe a little
more effort but for the pay it's 100%
worth it or maybe it's just an app or
platform people don't know about yet so
this is a good list for you so you can
take advantage of it number one is a
platform called Jitsu formerly axle hire
Jitsu combines Innovative technology and
Superior Logistics to deliver cost
effective reliable same and next day
delivery services to Industry leaders in
the meal kits perishables and e-commerce
space in that somewhat lengthy
description there I just want you to pay
attention to meal kits like food or
catering delivery services that can be a
fantastic option because I've seen great
pay in meal kit or catering deliveries
and get this unlike some of these other
food delivery or even catering side
hustles this one has overnight deliver
options available as well if that's your
thing downloading the driver app you're
going to book rout and you're going to
see the expected pay ahead of time now
if we click on the map icon right here
it'll show us a general zone of where
we're delivering it's not the exact
starting and ending destination I should
say the entire route but that's not the
worst thing cuz think of this Amazon
Flex you don't even know where you're
going to deliver until you get to that
warehouse and you scan the QR code for
your racket packages and envelopes so at
at least here you can say well it's $30
and the route's going to be in this
general area is that close enough for me
another good thing about this Jitsu is
you don't have to be at that pickup at
their proposed time you propose a pickup
window which is good for your
flexibility bookings for these routes
are available one to 2 days prior to the
delivery so that's nice you can plan
your schedule and most of these routes
are going to be what's called co-mingled
routes all that means is one route with
different customers that like most any
career like longer route delivery
service don't worry about that so if you
want predictability and guaranteed
earnings and I don't want to have to
worry about like oh when's my next offer
going to come in for the next like 2
hours this might be a good option for
you and by the way you can get tips but
let's talk about that I saw this on
their support page from Jitsu yeah you
can get tips you'll get a notification
in the app letting you know that you
have received a tip and then it says
Jitsu will process the tip minus a
processing fee of
2.9% plus
30 and you keep the
rest I'm not really aware of any other
gig app that has a processing fee for
tips now I know there's pull tipping on
some deliver that catering runs but a
flat percents on your tips maybe you can
help me out with that down below
platform number two that I just signed
up for here in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
is Skip cart available in 37 states with
150,000 active drivers which is nice cuz
some of these platforms are a little
more established and available than
others this is another last mile
delivery service and with this one you
can also do catering runs as well they
do have bonus pay they have guaranteed
pay sometimes like do 10 deliveries
you'll get x amount of dollars if you
earn less than that then we'll pay the
difference other apps do that then of
course you can get tips as well and then
here's the skip card pay structure skip
card has created a pay model that is
designed to make earnings Fair
convenient and transparent for every
delivery for each delivery you will earn
at least $1 Plus customer tip but skip
carts will ensure that your total
earnings including tips are never less
than the amount you're guaranteed when
you're offered a delivery below is more
detailed information I mean kind of the
lowest paying gig app per delivery that
at least I've seen is on gopuff where
here in Pittsburgh they pay like 325 or
something before customer tip on each
drop off so what is this a dollar a
delivery that sounds weird but it
doesn't really tell the whole story it's
kind of confusing take a look so they
could offer you a guaranteed pay on this
offer of $9 other apps do that they say
hey here's the minimum pay like what you
see on the order card screen okay fair
enough and then there's their base pay
okay $1 and if we call it base pay
that's not a big deal cuz door Dash is
minimum is $2 so okay $1 but what else
do I get here so if this offer had a $4
tip then I'm still not at
$9 so skip card adds what's called I
guess additional pay of $4 equaling the
total pay guaranteed of $9 so why aren't
we just saying the base pay from skip
card is $5 but here's the thing they can
call it whatever they want this is
another option for you if you do food
delivery I would sign up anyway this
stuff is free and each Marketplace while
it varies you're going to have it as an
option you can even say well it's not
super busy in my market like I had with
Point pickup here in Pittsburgh but when
I got offers every now and then it was a
great offer so I used in that case Point
pickup as what we call a filler app so
sign up for this if especially if you're
doing food delivery or catering as
another option number three are you
looking for work and or you don't have
reliable access to vehicle to use like
let's say all day for 4 hours on food
delivery 8 hours whatever it is then you
might want to look at steady steady
matches you with temporary work
assignments in your Marketplace so kind
of think temp work and that's what I did
years and years ago with a deco a temp
work agency this is very similar but
it's app based and you can see right
there without having to wait for staff
to get back to and all of that you can
start working faster now I went on the
website and it says hey we're currently
working on our app so wonderful look for
updates with steady but don't worry I
got you here's some Alternatives wolo
I've downloaded that I've had it active
on my phone for probably 2 and 1/2 years
or so the shifts that I saw the actual
work seemed easy enough it was like hey
we need someone to help at the Food
Festival this weekend helping distribute
our samples of food whatever it is or we
need help at this convention passing out
t-shirts it seems like pretty simple
work you know shifts you can pick up you
can start making some money and then
again you don't have to rely on a
vehicle or food delivery ride sh all
that other stuff there's also shifts by
snag a job and then additionally upshift
now that one's interesting because on
their own website for upshift they said
they had an in-person
onboarding and that they only accepted
12% of applicants but don't let that
scare you away because upshift might
have better higher paying opportunities
there and then another kind of temp work
opportunity is blue crew now I found
blue crew really interesting because
basically every single app in the gig
economy you're a 1099 independent
contractor and you don't get any
benefits by the way don't get any sick
paid off time vacation health insurance
any of that but blue crew you have W2
status and some worker benefits before
we move in number four if you're getting
value can you drop a like on this video
consider subscribing all I do here is
help you make money in different side
hustles and check out my website your
drim my.com I got free resources on
there I got got a brand new side hustle
starter kit the best place to start
really any side hustle that's coming
soon and I also have even more resources
coming soon to that website number four
is Angie now this is a great opportunity
if you're looking to make more
consistent money number one and then
money that you control number two number
three something that is actually finally
scalable you can't really scale food
delivery or ran or package of delivery
like it's great to start working quickly
make money and then take some
assignments but like you can't scale it
with clients with Angie you can cleaning
interior painting exterior remodeling
Landscaping handyman electric all these
service jobs or Contracting Etc you can
list yourself on Angie something
interesting on this platform though is
you have to have prior paid experience
for the service that you're offering now
that's good cuz it vets out someone with
no experience so you kind of rise to the
Top If you have more experience in that
industry but if you're in that boat with
no experience you're going to have to
start elsewhere but that's okay you
could try thumb Tac what's nice about
thumb Tac is they limit the competition
of what they call Pros that's you know
you like the listing person they limit
competition against Pros on different
offers and you know what I do is I talk
about multi-app like driving usually on
different apps at the same time so you
can select the best offer for you I
would multi-app this as well I would
sign up for Angie I would sign up for
whatever other contractor site I would
sign up for Thumbtack and list yourself
in your services in your business have
your own website as well for this on all
of these sites so maybe you get an offer
on Angie maybe I get an offer on
Thumbtack do read the terms of service
but if you're an independent contractor
you're allowed to do that number five
available in 28 States is bellhop now
this is a gig specifically focusing on
being a mover and we actually have some
direct earnings here from bellhop they
say make great money
make up to $21 an hour including tips
and bonuses set your availability arrive
and then level up interesting maintain
great reviews to increase your rank
earnings and sense of Pride and they do
have this about mileage compensation you
earn 25 cents per mile after the first
30 miles and then they give some kind of
somewhat confusing example just so you
know at least at the time of filming
this business miles in 2024 67 per
business mile deduction that's on the
optional standard mileage deduction from
the IRS okay but later on their site
they say make up to $20 an hour so it
was
2120 at least it's another option for
you but here's the thing speaking of
other options if you're looking at being
a mover why wouldn't you just do Bungie
they say the ultimate sign hustle it's
yeah it's kind of moving but it's just
in essence larger stuff like think I
don't know like a lawn statue couches
fridges something that you need a truck
or a larger vehicle for because Bungie
says earn over
$45 an hour driving with Bungie so if
you have the vehicle whatever it is if
you have the capacity bung is another
good option but then there's also Dolly
which emphasizes moving larger items
right because here it's $50 an hour or
you can literally not even have the
vehicle you can just join a team and
help for $3 $5 $35 an hour to just help
like lift the couch or help move the
stuff look it's labor intensive it's
going to be more effort but that pays a
good amount more I'd say than other apps
in the gig economy and then lastly bunny
Studio bunny Studio or backstage if you
have the voice Fort you could be a
voiceover artist but then you could also
like cross list your work on Fiverr or
upwork so if you want a good atomes side
Hustle or a remote side hustle that
basically you can do anywhere that could
be a good option but do you have the
voice
