Transcripts
hey friends okay so today's video I'm
gonna be talking about the five first
Saturdays this is a really important
devotion to do and it's actually super
easy it's not very hard and it is
wonderful to do as your family my family
has been doing it we started doing it
before Kovan so Kovach kind of messed
everything up but we are it's something
that we're going to do every single
Saturday tell our kids move out of the
house and we'll probably eight me and my
husband will still probably do it but
what it is is Mary appeared to the three
children of Fatima and asked them on the
third apparition if they would do this
devotion so pretty much there are four
things that Mary asked that you do to do
this devotion and they're really simple
so the first one is to go to confession
which mother Mary actually said to go to
confession at least once a month that is
what she recommended to the children of
Fatima and to everybody to share with
everybody so that's something that we
should be doing so that's really simple
I can do a whole video I'm going to
confession if you'd like me to
definitely comment down below if you
want me to do a video on confession but
it is not scary I promise you I know it
might seem like it's gonna be scary but
the priests are so beautiful and so
wonderful you don't even have to go to
like see their face or anything but it's
really important to ask God for
forgiveness so that is the first thing
that she asks us to do for this devotion
on the same day she says that we should
receive the Holy Eucharist so she
doesn't necessarily say to go to Mass
but that's pretty much how you receive
the Eucharist is to go to Mass so so me
and my family we would go to Mass every
first Saturday and receive the Eucharist
which is even better if you have just
gone to confession because then you are
clean and pure so receive the Eucharist
and then the third one is to pray five
decades of the Rosary so pretty much if
you pray a whole rosary that is five
decades so that's the other the third
thing that you should be doing and then
the fourth thing is
to meditate on the mysteries of the
rosary for 15 minutes so those are the
four things that she says to do this
devotion and she says that the promises
are so awesome so she promises that if
you do this devotion that she will be
with you at the hour of your death so
when you're about to die the hour before
your death she will be with you and she
is so awesome because they say that that
is the time that Satan really tries to
tell you that you are not worth heaven
you are not good enough you know he
tries to kind of mess with our heads at
that time and so Mary promises to be
with us and to defend us and to have
give us that grace that we need to get
to heaven so I think that's awesome
that's why I take my entire family
because I really want them to do this
devotion to I think it's really
important for us parents to teach our
children these devotions because they
are so important Our Lady has asked us
to do them and the reason why so I guess
Jesus appeared to st. Lucia and
explained why the first five Saturdays
what's the significance of the first
five Saturdays so pretty much is the
five different offenses of the
Immaculate Heart of Mary and the first
one is if you're curious to know is
people who are against the Immaculate
Conception who don't believe in the
Immaculate Conception so that is the
first thing so the second thing that
offends Mary is the people who don't
believe that she was a virgin that is
something that pains her heart dearly
she was a virgin her entire life and
that is something that the Catholic
Church believes mother Mary said in
Fatima so that's the second thing that
really offends and hurts mother Mary the
third one is that people are against her
divine maternity so people who don't
believe that Mary is the mother of all
mankind that hurts her heart greatly and
so that's the third thing and this is
Jesus explaining why the first
Saturdays are so important so this is
through Jesus Jesus said this to the
three children of Fatima to st. Lucia
and so keep that in mind this is through
Jesus okay okay so the fourth thing that
really offends Mary are people who in
doctrine into children into the children
of God that you know indifference
towards Mary a disrespect towards Mary
and even hatred towards Mary so that is
the fourth thing that hurts the Heart of
Mary and why we do this devotion and I
think the fifth one is so present for
today's time if you at all watch the
news or anything
the revile Minh of her the holy images
of Mary so that is going on right now
especially in our country in America
which is so sad
where they are defacing that the face of
Mary and doing inappropriate things to
them spray-painting them and all of that
and so those are the five things that
hurt the Heart of Mary and so in
reparation for those two to kind of like
help ease the pain to mother Mary we do
the first Saturday's that is one way
that we can kind of bring Mary peace
it's like bringing her a bouquet of
flowers giving her a hug telling her she
is loved and wanted and so that is why
we do the first Saturdays because it is
reparation for all of these these things
that are hurting mother Mary and Mother
Mary has such a high place in the
Catholic faith she should be in the
whole world because she is amazing it
was her yes to God that changed the face
of the earth and it is so amazing we
have we should have so much love and
respect and for her she is my best
friend I love her dearly I will love her
til the day I die because she is so
awesome I love having a woman figure of
what does a woman look like that loves
God to the depth of her core and that is
Mother Mary she said yes to God to
having Jesus before she was married like
lay
she didn't think twice she just said thy
will be done and that is what we should
be doing in our lives so saying God thy
will be done
what do you ask of me okay that is hard
I don't want to do it but thy will be
done not my will but your well she is
the prime example of that that we should
be praising God and giving him
everything because he deserves
everything and mother Mary knew that she
knew how little she was and how amazing
God was like said me and my husband
actually do this devotion with our
children so so it's pretty much so the
fourth one is it talks about how people
don't talk about mother Mary anymore to
their children they don't talk about
like her yes and all of those great
things that mother Mary has to offer and
that is one of the things that really
hurts her heart specifically to children
and so if your mom or dad watching this
this is something that we should be
teaching our children about the gift of
mother Mary because she truly is a gift
to us from God like that is you know
that is our mother that is so amazing
that he is sharing that gift with us
okay so what like I said we do this
devotion with our children so we do
we're gonna we haven't done five in a
row yet we hopefully will but every
first Saturday you you go and go with
your family we have little children but
this devotion is so good even for little
children it can be a little hard it can
be a little long sometimes but even if
the kids can't go to confession yet it's
something that I think me and my husband
decided it was really important to do
that this is just a part of our family
tradition that every first Saturday we
go to Mass we go to confession we do the
first Saturdays you know we pray the
rosary as a family we meditate all of
these things because they're so good for
them even if it wasn't a devotion those
are so good for our children to learn
and to do and so so that's what we do
the first
the day in the morning we do that it's
like hardcore let's pray let's do this
devotion and then the second part of the
day we'll go out for lunch after that or
we'll get donuts we'll do something
really fun with the children that kind
of makes it a good family day so we're
really big on like having good family
days and if we set apart the first
Saturday of the month then we know that
will at least have one good family day a
month you know cuz life gets carried
away yard work and you know all these
things but we hold back to that one
Saturday where we do something really
cool as a family if that's really good
so what we'll do is like I said we'll go
out for lunch or well maybe get ice
cream or doughnuts
something that's really that the kids
love and then we'll do something really
fun so we'll go to a museum we'll go to
a movie we'll go to bowling you know
there's different things that we've done
that we can do that are really fun we'll
go to a really cool park we'll go to the
pool you know I could go on and on
there's a lot of really fun things that
you can hold some things you can do as a
family and so those are just some ideas
to make it really special so we really
wanted to make first Saturday is really
special by starting off with prayer and
that devotion and then going and doing
something really fun and you know
bonding as a family and stuff so that
way I think that this devotion will
hopefully carry on like it says it's
only five Saturday that they say to do
this but we do it every single Saturday
so we haven't done five in a row
but eventually we should write because
we started this devotion as a family
right around I think it was New Year's
like this was kind of our New Year's
family resolution was to to do this but
we will pick up this month so so anyway
I just wanted to share that with you
guys I hope that this encourages you
because this is such an easy amazing
wonderful devotion that will bring so
much glory to God and mother Mary's
heart will be so happy
so anyway
I hope that you enjoy and I will see you
all next time god bless bye
