marathons cuz I think I'm going to break
any records and I'm by no means an elite

close I'm just a guy who hated running a
couple years ago and now loves
it what I love about the marathon is not
just crossing the finish line and
finishing it but it's the months and
months of training you put in for that
moment I run marathons because running
to me has become my Escape my time to
think my time to push myself my time to
grow the world is noisy but when I run
it's
silent I earned a sub three hour
marathon after 5 months of dedicated and
consistent

training but that was 3 months ago and
the only way to keep growing is to set
new
goals
let me give you the backstory on how I
started running I'm the middle child I
have two brothers and we all grew up
playing socer and we all very
competitive with each other as well to
me growing up running was always a
punishment like something extremely hard
and miserable not something to be
enjoyed even in the slightest running in
the sport of soccer always made sense to
me cuz you run with a purpose to move
the ball down the field and score but I
could never understand like why anyone
would want to go run just to run when I
got to college I struggled hard with an
eating disorder and it had really taken
control of my life and more or less
ended my soccer career after my freshman
year that was a tough pill to swallow
that I wouldn't be able to play the
sport I had always loved anymore at a
high level at least my whole life up
until that point soccer had given me
structure and a clear-cut Avenue to grow
both physically and mentally it's funny
cuz through the process of getting
getting my life back together and taking
control again I started running I don't
know why specifically I started running
longer distances but somehow that filled
the void that soccer left being able to
have something that gave me structure to
keep me physically fit but also mentally
sharp now just so you know I didn't love
running when I first started in fact I
still hated it but I did it just to stay
in shape it was in no way enjoyable for
me that is until I started noticing that
by staying consistent with it it started
to be become easier for me I had
unintentionally become a better Runner
just by staying committed to the process
not by following any structured plan or
anything and I started to gain a deep
desire to see how far I could push
myself in running I remember running
seven miles for the first time and then
I got to 10 which was like a
mindboggling experience I never thought
I would get into the double digits then
before I even knew it I caught the bug I
signed up for my first half marathon
then my first marathon then my second
half marathon then my second Marathon
running has a unique way of very
tangible L simulating life lessons
lessons like perseverance committing to
a goal and following through on it
working hard even when no one's making
you pushing past mental boundaries
weathering the storm Etc I could go on
and on but in short the more I ran the
better my life became and I think that's
what leads me to where I am now training
for my third marathon on April 28th in
Eugene Oregon and it's time to start
building to
250

it is good to be back I am so excited to
start building to 250 I felt like
something was missing in my life ever
since the Chicago series ended but I'm
pumped to be back and I'm pumped to
start a new prep over the past 12 to 14
weeks I think since Chicago I've been
consistent running I've been running 35
to 40 miles every single week and so I
have a a really good base of Fitness
right now and I'm super pumped to see
what next level of Fitness I can get to
throughout this prep I'm going to be
working the next 3 months with Coach
Jeff again to try to go for a 250
marathon in Eugene I'm so excited to
start creating this series and just
showing you guys the process the UPS the
Downs everything you know this is just
my life and I'm documenting it I'm
documenting my training for you all to
see I'm entering a new phase in my life
I just graduated college and for the
first time ever I'm able to just focus
on creating videos inspiring others and
just pushing myself to like new limits
that I never have before and so I'm
really excited just to see where this
next chapter takes me um I'm super
grateful for all your support um and
yeah this is just going to be an epic
ride we got a lot of miles to run
