Q & A
What is the main mechanic of the Fantasmic Scorpion boss in the raid?
-The main mechanic of the Fantasmic Scorpion boss is 'Illusory Teleportation,' where the boss starts with nine stacks of damage reduction and teleports players to random illusion realms. Players need to escape these realms to reduce the boss's damage reduction stacks and deal bonus damage.
How many players are needed to trigger the Illusory Teleportation mechanic?
-At least four players are required to trigger the Illusory Teleportation mechanic. If there are fewer than four players alive, it's recommended to quit and reset the raid.
What happens if players fail to escape the illusion realm in time?
-If players fail to escape the illusion realm in time, the boss will heal and gain an additional stack of damage reduction, making the fight last longer.
What is the strategy to escape the 'Guiding Light' illusion realm?
-In the 'Guiding Light' illusion realm, players need to follow a trail of light balls through thick fog. Touching three light balls will lead them to the exit. Movement weapons like Nola's bike can help speed up the escape.
How do players escape the 'Shadow Flowers' illusion realm?
-In the 'Shadow Flowers' illusion realm, players must identify and attack the real flower among many fakes. Teammates outside the illusion can clear flowers around the boss to help identify the real one. Alternatively, players inside can use ranged weapons or AoE discharges to attack the flowers directly.
What is the 'Thunder Strike Zone' illusion and how do players escape it?
-In the 'Thunder Strike Zone' illusion, two players are marked and must work together to defeat three shielded enemies within a time limit. What strategies are recommended for speedrunning this raid?
-For speedrunning, players should use benediction abilities like 8% initial chunk and Fiona's executes, along with a tank player to aggro the boss and healers to keep everyone alive. DPS players, especially whales, can help chase leaderboard positions.

Outlines
🦂 Introduction to the New Raid and Mechanics
The video introduces a new mechanics-based limited-time raid, featuring the Fantasmic Scorpion World Boss from patch 4.1. The speaker stresses the importance of sharing the video with teammates to ensure everyone knows the mechanics. With proper coordination, this raid is one of the easiest, even for free-to-play teams. The main boss mechanic revolves around 'Illusory Teleportation,' where players are teleported to illusion realms and must escape to reduce the boss's damage reduction stacks. Each failure results in the boss healing and gaining a stack of damage reduction. Success in escaping the illusions leads to bonus damage, the primary method for defeating the boss.
🌟 Illusion Realms and Their Challenges
The speaker explains the three possible illusion realms players are teleported to during the raid: The Guiding Light, Shadow Flowers, and Thunder Strike Zone. In The Guiding Light, players must follow light balls through thick fog to find the exit. Nola's bike or other movement tech can help speed up this task. In Shadow Flowers, players must identify the real flower among fakes, while their teammates outside clear flowers. A ranged weapon can simplify this mechanic. In Thunder Strike Zone, two players are marked with different mechanics and must work together to defeat three shielded enemies while parrying Thunder Strikes. Zeke’s execute skill is recommended for clearing this mechanic quickly.

Highlights
The raid features a mechanics-based challenge centered around the Phantasmic Scorpion World boss from update 4.1.
This is one of the easiest raids to clear, provided everyone understands the mechanics, and can even be completed with a full team of free-to-play players.
The boss starts with nine stacks of damage reduction, making it difficult for even strong players to deal significant damage at first.
The main mechanic, illusory teleportation, teleports players to random illusion realms. At least four players are required to activate this mechanic.
If players fail to escape the illusion in time, the boss gains a stack of damage reduction, making the fight significantly harder.
The Guiding Light illusion requires players to follow a light trail through thick fog to escape. Sticking to the light trail is essential for a quick escape.
The Shadow Flowers illusion involves identifying and attacking a single real flower among many fake ones. Attacking fake flowers results in massive health loss.
Team coordination can speed up the Shadow Flowers illusion, as players outside the illusion can clear the fake flowers to help those inside.
Players can also brute force the Shadow Flowers illusion by using ranged weapons to shoot flowers and surviving the explosions.
The Thunder Strike Zone is the hardest illusion, requiring two players to work together to parry thunder strikes and trigger AOE explosions to defeat enemies.
Global players struggled to figure out the Thunder Strike Zone mechanics, but some teams bypassed it by using Zeke's execute skill to clear the enemies instantly.
Using Zeke's totems and subskill can simplify the Thunder Strike Zone, eliminating the need to perform the challenging mechanics.
Players are encouraged to share alternative strategies and speedrun times in the comments, fostering a collaborative community approach to tackling the raid.
Benediction builds, tanks to aggro the boss away from teammates, and healers keeping the team alive are key strategies for success in this raid.
The video encourages viewers to like, subscribe, and share the guide with their teammates to help them clear the raid efficiently.
Transcripts
it's that time of the patch cycle again
where we get another limited time
mechanics based raid this time featuring
The Fantasmic scorpion World boss from
4.1 as usual for these types of mechanic
based raids to prevent yourself and your
team from Ming too hard please do
yourself a favor and send this video to
everyone on your team before attempting
this raid as long as everyone knows what
they're doing this is one of the easiest
raids ever and can be cleared with a
full team of freed to plays so without
further Ado let's get started
immediately and jump straight into the
raid mechanics first up we've got
illusory teleportation the one and only
main mechanic of this boss the boss
starts with nine stacks of damage
reduction where even whales will barely
do any damage every so often the boss
will teleport players to a random
illusion realm note that multiple
players can be teleported out to do
different illusions at the same time
you'll need at least four players to
trigger this mechanic so if you have
less than four still alive you should
all quit and just reset after being
teleported if you don't escape the
Illusion in time the boss will heal and
gain one stack of damage reduction per
fail the Escape so make sure everyone on
the team is familiar with every mechanic
otherwise you'll be here forever but if
you succeed in getting out you'll remove
a stack of his damage reduction and deal
a big chunk of bonus damage which is the
main method of defeating this boss so
what exactly are these illusion Realms
and how do you escape them let's start
off with the first one called The
Guiding Light inside this illusion your
vision will be blocked by a thick fog
with the light ball ahead of you all you
have to do is touch the light bul and
follow the light trail to the the next
light bul do this three times and you'll
end up at the exit Port basically just
trust and stick to the light Trails even
if you don't immediately see the next
ball and you'll be able to escape easily
Nola's bike comes in real Handy for this
illusion but other movement weapons or
movement Tech can also help you speedrun
through this the second possible
illusion is called Shadow Flowers inside
this illusion you'll see a bunch of
flowers but only one of them is real
Attack the fake ones and you'll be
penalized with a massive chunk of your
health gone from its explosion but if
you manage to attack the real one you'll
escape the illusion immediately to
figure out which one is real without
taking damage your teammates outside of
the illusion will need to hit and clear
all the flowers that spawned around the
boss with fast multi-hitting weapons for
each one cleared outside their
corresponding fake inside the illusion
will be dispelled once all the flowers
are cleared by your teammates you'll be
left with a single real flower
coordinated teams on voice call can
probably just call out which flower is
which by their position but there is a
much easier way to deal with this
illusion without the help of your
teammates you can simply grab a ranged
weapon and shoot all the flowers and
hide within your alternate Destiny Relic
and face tank all the explosions you can
also do large AOE discharges like Nola
or Fiona and if frame away the explosion
Dam worst comes the worst if your
teammates are real slow outside as long
as you can survive at least one
explosion you can heal up enough and try
another flower the third last and also
the hardest illusion is called Thunder
strike zone two players will get marked
with either Thunder judgment or thunder
Vortex and will be put into the same
illusion against three enemies shielded
with a blue bubble and your goal is to
survive and defeat the three enemies
within a set amount of time to escape
the illusion when you break a blue
bubble a green vortex looking thing will
Converge on your player and a thunder
strike will hit you for a massive damage
if at the last moment you do a basic
attack and Parry the falling Thunder you
will either trigger an AOE explosion or
buff the other players's AOE explosion
with more damage and a bigger AOE range
the two players need to work together to
trigger AOE exposion iions to kill all
three enemies in time all the while
trying to survive the mob's attacks this
mechanic we tried to do legitimately on
CN for hours but we were unable to
figure it out so if you Global players
do manage to do the mechanics properly
please let me know how in the comments
below the way we ended up clearing this
illusion is to just simply have everyone
bring Zeke into the raid every time
someone gets this mechanic one of the
two players will just Zeke execute the
three mobs and that's it you don't have
to deal with his [ __ ] for a quick
refresher on how to do Z executes first
skill to summon his totems then spam the
subskill to whack his black balls back
to the totems when at least one totem
lights up you do a directionless Dodge
and hold left click your screen turns
white music plays and you basically
attack each of the mobs once for those
without Zeke pray that you don't ever
get selected by this illusion if you do
get selected pray that the other person
that got inside with you has Zeke or
just try and figure out the mechanic I
guess and there you have it that's it to
all the Scorpions mechanics just
continuously escape from his illusions
and eventually he dies simple as that
for those wanting to speedrun the usual
benediction acis 8% initial chunk and
benediction Fiona executes will help a
tank player AGG gring the boss away from
teammates and a few healers keeping
everyone else alive outside of the
Illusions is also nice to have oh and
whales on DPS if you're chasing
leaderboard positions obviously if you
found any alternative strategies against
this boss make sure to share them in the
comments below and also for the
speedrunners do leave your fastest times
and region in the comments for everyone
to see as always always don't forget to
share this video with your teammates and
make sure to like And subscribe for more

good luck on your raid and see you two
