today I don't know about you but I
always have this idea in my head of what
new year is going to be like and feel
like and then it comes and I remember oh
yeah it's winter and every year I'm just
a bit like oh how am I supposed to be
like new year new me with weather like
this but Happy New Year welcome to my
life I am filming this video between
Christmas and New Year but I really
wanted to Vlog today because if you
didn't catch my last Vlogs I am taking
some time off vlogging in January and I
feel like I just have a lot to say and
if you follow my main Channel you would
have seen I was on the biggest new year
new me hype last year and I felt so good
for it and I've obviously seen so many
people on the new year's new hype
telling you what to do how to do this
how to have the best 2024 and I I
thought I would tell you from the
perspective of someone that did all of
that last year and followed it what
actually changed my life and what didn't
I'm also going to set up my airdresser
today I had that brought from Storage so
we're going to do that and I just have a
bunch of random things hopefully the
rain stops and we can go on a nice
little Excursion I'm crossing my fingers
for that one so yes throughout today's
Vlog I am going to be filling you in on
the things that I basically set myself
at the start of 2023 and whether they
have helped me or not so hope hopefully
by the end of this Vlog we'll have spent
the day together and hopefully you'll
have quite a nice insight into whether
new year new me things actually made a
difference for me and hopefully that
will help you so if you're being told
right now on all these Tik toks and
YouTube videos that you need to wake up
at 5:00 a.m. every day do 75 hard do
this do that like you don't you really
don't the biggest thing that I learned
in 2023 when it came to my wellness and
my happiness is it's not about the crazy
things it's about the consistent things
so the big one for me every morning I
drink a whole glass of water before I
have my breakfast or drink my coffee
normally I have one of the huge tumblers
but today I have this and I've got a
little electrolyte tablet in there it
just makes it a bit nicer but this has
been so good for me because you know
when you get those days where you get
super busy and some days this is my only
water until the evening and then I'm
like oh my gosh so yeah water first
thing in the morning throughout the day
if you can remember is such a huge thing
that literally changed everything for me
I I I also think this is how my hair
grows not the electrolyte tablet it's
just the water and I guess whilst it's
the morning time we should probably talk
about this one and that is having a
consistent morning routine a consistent
wakeup time I cannot even tell you how
much this changed my whole entire life I
love my 6:00 a.m. morning routine I
genuinely feel like a better human for
it and I carry it on every single day of
the week so even at the weekends I'm
getting up at 6:00 a.m. and I will do my
normal routine and then I just have so
much more time it's amazing obviously I
go to bed stupidly early for that to be
consistent and feel good so if you can't
do an early morning wake up at least
pick the same wakeup time every day like
that for your body is so healthy and as
soon as I slip off that that's when I
start to feel super off balance I got
kiss the hippo beans in my coffee
machine at the moment and they are so
good my face is so puffy this morning if
there's ever a day that I needed to do a
bit of gacha it's today but I'm about to
work out and I am actually going to
gacha my face a little bit before I do
it but working out tends to deep puff my
face anyway but that is another thing
that I think is worth noting for New
Year's goals and that is movement so my
goal at the start of this year I'm
pretty sure was to work out six days a
week I told myself I was happy with five
but we'll set six because you know how
life is it's very rare that you're going
to make every single workout every
single week so I told myself if I tell
myself six and I plan for six that
allows one to be cancelled without you
know me feeling like I haven't achieved
what I want to achieve and when I tell
you being consistently active has
changed my life pre- pandemic I did not
work out like I ever I discovered bar
just before the pandemic we're talking
like 6 weeks before and then post
pandemic really got into it and I'm
going to stick with it next year that my
goal is going to be to workout six times
a week but actually it will usually end
up being five because I just feel so
good for it it's never for particularly
long I do a 40-minute class it's nothing
crazy intense but I just feel so good
for it I take a dedicated rest day each
week and then obviously you have that
other like negotiable rest day and I
just feel like I found the best routine
for me right now obviously when life
gets busy it slips and I never beat
myself up about that it's just one of
those things like when I moved house
where's my
gacha but yeah when I moved in October I
literally didn't work out for the first
month and and it was fine until about 3
and 1/ half weeks in I just started to
feel so groggy and so tired that I was
like okay it's time it's time to uh move
my body again and I just yeah it feels
so good for it so I do bar classes the
bar studio that I go to in person is
called bar cour and they have like an
online portal so I do their classes but
there's so many free ones on YouTube but
I think the key is really just finding
something that you actually enjoy and I
think my goal for next year is going to
be try some different exercises and some
new ones I always tell myself that I
can't do high intensity because my
arthritis but like maybe I can I don't
know I'd love to try a spin class or try
not a barries I'm not brave enough for
that I don't understand how people do
these things I think I will try a spin
clo I mean I would really like to try a
barries but I don't run and I everything
I do is super low intensity I walk and I
do bar and I do Pilates I don't really
do anything like if you ask me to do a
burpee I would politely decline my neck
is so tangled yeah if you have time in
your life to be consistently active even
if it's something as simple as picking
to walk somewhere over getting public
transport or over driving then I would
highly recommend trying it even just for
the month of January and see if it
changes how you feel obviously it takes
up a lot of time and there are times
where I'm walking somewhere and I'm like
I should have just got the tube but I
feel really good for it it's a balance
thing how did I get a massage just
before Christmas my neck's already all
knotted Welcome to My Little Gym I have
my peleton and then I have my treadmill
and then all of my things to work out
with are hidden away in this cupboard
which is great and I actually do put
these away every single day and get them
back out the next time because I just
like the feeling of everything having a
place and being away and there a tripod
in here because for now this is my
ballet barx one of my goals I think
February the gym is going going to be my
focus I am going to have some mirrors
put on the wall I'm going to have a
ballet bar put on the wall someone
actually told me that you can get ballet
bars with wheels on that you can move
and then they kind of lock into place
which I thought was quite a cool
alternative in case I didn't want to you
know put anything on the wall but yeah
this is like my Sanctuary my Cal and I
just love it because I love that I can
take 40 minutes and I am being told what
to do by someone I don't have to think
about anything I'm not like stressing
about my day and it's just a really nice
way to detach and I definitely think for
me that's been so healthy actually this
year I picked up a couple hobbies that I
stopped and that's been so helpful as
well I think it's so healthy to have
things in your life that don't serve you
in any other way besides bringing you
Joy so of course working out makes me
feel amazing but there is also an
outcome you know if I work out
consistently my body is going to change
or I'm going to get stronger or there's
these outcomes that in your head are
goals and I think it's really healthy as
well to have hobbies that don't have
those so I'm going to spend the next 40
minutes with Isabella doing my class
well that was a lovely workout and I
feel amazing I was thinking in the next
break in the rain I might run to Whole
Foods and get some bits to make pizzas I
thought that could be quite fun I am
actually popping out for lunch today
with one of my friends so I I
potentially could go then maybe I don't
know I'll figure it out but I'm also
filming Ms and Bobs today so if my
outfit changes 20 times you know why but
the next thing that I wanted to touch on
in terms of new year new me I need a
different mirror actually I wanted to
touch on getting ready for the day I am
so completely comfortable without makeup
I could Happily Never wear makeup ever
again but you know what wearing makeup
actually makes me feel so good and I
just think in general a really good
point is to make sure you're getting
ready each day and making yourself feel
good even if you know you can roll out
of bed with 5 minutes and make it and be
absolutely fine it's just not setting
you up for a great day so I would
definitely say what helped me in 2023
was ensuring that I was actually leaving
the house making myself feel good even
if it didn't involve makeup even if I
just made sure I was wearing something I
felt comfortable in or that I was doing
my hair in a way that made me feel
really put together it actually changed
my whole attitude towards each day and
don't get me wrong I definitely go
through phases the idea of putting
makeup on in the morning just makes me
want to cry but then I do it and I'm
like oh it takes 5 minutes and I feel
good I've just put my car in charge and
come back to a couple of parcels this
one is very exciting I mean I think it's
exciting it is a new box of minkies I am
on my last one and it's actually a pink
love heart one which is so cute but I
needed a restock so I ordered these I'm
not anywhere near a B&M or anything like
that so Amazon it is and they're so cute
they're also just really practical and
really good say big warm welcome to my
airdresser now I've decided for now is
going to stay here in the guest bedroom
however eventually I am going to have
this built in downstairs next to my
washer dryer and I I really contemplated
for so long where to situate it but I
think that for me makes the most sense I
did consider having this built into my
wardrobe design which I've seen so many
people do but I think for me personally
the way I'm going to use it it makes the
most sense to have it downstairs I just
grabed my tablet because I'm definitely
going to want to watch a YouTube video
on the setup but I also want to add it
to my smartphones app I feel like this
is one of those devices that's like an
if you know you know because I knew that
when I was planning my house and
airdresser was something that I
definitely wanted it was one of those
like nonnegotiable appliances to me and
I've heard they have them in Buckingham
Palace like don't take it 100% from me
but I have heard a rumor that they have
them in the palace which I just think is
really cool so basically this is exactly
what it looks like like a wardrobe style
Appliance and so I'm holding this like
he a clipboard but basically it steam
cleans your clothes it dries your
clothes gently it deodorizes your
clothes and I own so many beautiful
dresses that I really thought this would
be the perfect thing to have in my home
because I can put my gorgeous dresses in
there and they'll be wrinkle free which
is just such a huge thing for me I have
so many silk pieces like delicate pieces
and this is just going to help with the
care of those so much so you get three
of these hangers in there but there is
also an attachment so you can put your
own hangers in there but let me take all
the tape off so this is what it looks
like this is for hanging ties or
anything like that I'm even thinking you
know you have those items of clothing
that have Ties on them that get all kind
of messed up and then you have to iron
them somehow but they're delicate and
then I always end up putting them in
something and hair straightening them oh
my goodness it makes me cringe so now I
can use this and then as you can see
you've got the hanging space and down
here is where you put the water and it
kind of drains into but let's get the
instructions out I love there's mirrored
on the front so it's plugged in first
what I'd like to do is set it up with my
smart things app so I'm going to hold
this down and it says connecting to
Mobile so this is my smart things app I
have my laundry on and then it tells me
what else I have on and don't so I'm
going to add a device this is really
easy I literally just have to scan a QR
code so I'm going to click airdresser
and then this is where I scan and it's
now just waiting to connect this is the
accessory I was talking about so you pop
this in and then you can hang your own
hangers in there as well which is
incredibly handy so as you can see
there's all the different settings on
here we've got normal delicate quick
sanitized dry and special so you just
make sure the machines all prepped and
ready you pick your cycle I guess and
then you pop your items in and click
Start so what I think we'll do is I'm
going to finish setting it up and then
we'll pick an item to put in there I
think it makes the most sense to try
something for the first time that we can
actually see a difference with I have
this gorgeous white dress that's linen
so you can see the creases and I think
that's probably what's going to work
best but yeah for now I've got it in the
corner of the room I think it fits here
absolutely fine but as I said I am going
to actually have it put into the space I
love it I think it's so cool and it also
acts as a dehumidifier so if you know
for those times when you've been out on
a walk and maybe your coat is a little
damp you can pop it in here and put it
on to dry so it's not going to cause any
damage to your house or make like your
your living room damp or your hallway
that was a huge thing for me because
when I don't have like a boot room or
anything like that so if I come in from
doing the dog walk and my coat's a
little damp I'm like uh what do I do
with this and then I also want to see
this is a bit random how tea towels work
in there because I really hate having
creased roughly tea towels I think this
could be the answer I decided what I
think we're going to try first I thought
this would be a great test it's this
lovely pair of trousers from Reformation
I've worn them once they need a little
bit of of a refresh they're as you can
see pretty creased and crinkled I
thought these would be a great test
because obviously we can see the creases
this is one of those pieces that I would
really struggle to know not how to wash
but I would be concerned about washing I
would either dry clean them which is
just a bit inconvenient or I would end
up putting them on cold and then I'd
feel like they weren't washed properly
or you know that kind of thing and then
it would come to drying them and I would
be like um so I've hung them on and made
sure they're tight which is feels like
something I should do SLI it in so I'm
going to hit on and I think I'm going to
do normal oh there's a special setting
for suits school uniform winter coat
Walnut outdoor down jackets oh my
goodness I can put my down jacket in
here okay well I'm going to hit normal
we'll see it says it's going to take 39
minutes it says it's going to steam air
and dry okay it's done I just got the
notification to my phone and I
ran stop it okay right I mean I can just
take them out of the hanger but I feel
like I should uncp you guys can you see
that can you see how effortless that was
the pleating looks perfect can you see
the back I mean I sat down in these in a
car for 3 hours they were crumpled oh my
goodness I am so happy I can't even tell
you I feel like next we definitely need
to try a jacket I would love to try my
down jacket and my trench coats but yeah
I'm just over the moon I hate ironing
and I can't wait to see it built in I
think it's going to be a really cool
piece I love anything that's like kind
of cool and you're probably Gathering by
now whether this is healthy or not I
really want to make my home a place that
I don't have to leave like I love the
fact I don't have to go to the dry
cleaner I love the fact that I don't
have to go to the gym I think it's just
such an efficient way of living and that
was something that I really wanted to
provide for myself so I'm really excited
about it so I'm going to go to lunch and
then we will head to Whole Foods
afterwards I actually need to find a
tote I don't know where all my totes
have gone
I maybe maybe upstairs but I need to
find a tote so I can buy some bits and
then we can make pizzas tonight but I
will catch up with you when I'm

I'm home and it genuinely feels like the
calm after the storm also I forgot to
tell you I washed all of my Lululemon
things earlier and I put them in the air
dryer to dry so when that's done we'll
see how that has turned out but little
Whole Food TS so firstly I got the pizza
dough because we're going to try out the
pizza oven I am having someone over
later to do it with however we will do
one first just you know make sure I
actually know what I'm doing so we have
some semolina I got some barata I got
some truffle salami some brussel sprouts
these are Maple and raisin brussel
sprouts insane a coconut and some
mozzarella and then I ran to M&S and got
some more oh this was from M&S as well
this semolina they didn't have any whole
food so I had to run into m&f and then I
saw that they had this little salami
selection thought that was handy too but
I really want a Brussels sprout right
now they smell insane I feel like these
dipped in that um balsamic and apple you
know like the ch I have would be insane
M you know what I might actually reheat
these I could eat this whole thing I've
just had a notification to my phone that
the air dresser is finished with my Lulu
bits in so let's go and have a look I
hung them upside down it did say that
I've been looking into oh my goodness
they're dry okay wonderful I mean I
would hope so but you know you never
know okay yeah they're dry top to bottom
I even put my Define jacket in oh my
goodness it feels perfect oh I'm so
happy about these These are so hard to
wash and dry properly without them going
all bobbly and I hate the idea that
they're just kind of sat on a radiator
waiting to dry for like 2 days so this
is literally Chang my world wow now this
is exciting this is my sage pizza oven
and I've been waiting for the day I get
to use this and today is that day what
have I just knocked over oh and this is
actually great because it means I can
get rid of the box as well so I decided
to plug it in over here I don't know if
we have to I I I know nothing this is
where I should definitely read the
instructions so we have a pizza pan and
a pizza stone also I love how lovely it
looks on my work toop the last thing I
wanted was a pizza oven I had to go
outside to use which is why I went for
this one ooh is this like a deep dish
pan I have watched YouTube tutorials on
this like it maybe maybe a year ago
though so oh what's this ah it's a
temperature dial that's so clever oh
that's so good so if you prefer prer to
oh it's magnetic if you prefer to work
in temperatures rather than how they've
got it then that is so handy I'm putting
that on okay the pizza pan so the pan is
for the thick crust you can do all
different Pizza Styles oh my goodness oh
so that's manual mode and then what
they've got printed on is I guess using
the uh instructions okay so it says it's
necessary to run empty for 20 minutes to
make sure there's nothing in there that
shouldn't be in there okay so it says
remove Stone deck from its packaging
gently wipe the deck with the D
cloth so turn the sty Dell clockwise
until the indicator reaches 400 F oh and
let it run for 20 minutes okay well
that's where we start now I may have
overaged the amount of cheese that we
need but this is what we have I've got
some garlic oil as well I thought that
would be quite nice and then I mean
should we make one I want like know that
you know I actually know how to do it
now I'd like to think I'll be good at
this but we'll see won't we so I've got
some semolina for spreading on the
actual Pizza I don't know what this is
called thing and I have to bake it
directly on the stone so this will just
help it transfer but whilst I'm actually
stretching out my dough I'm going to use
some flour the dough actually comes
Frozen I just had it laid out on the
side so hopefully it's pour through it
feels absolutely fine okay wonderful oh
it's perfect well this feels like a
great time to talk about one of the
other things that I set myself for 2023
and whether I would recommend you know
what for ease I might just do it on here
now I've stretched it oh that's a lot
okay well it's just going to have to go
on the flour this is the pizza sauce
that I'm using it's one of my favorit so
this this is going to be so yummy I
already know it the only thing that
could go wrong is the Pizza of them but
it's not going to it's going to be fine
it's going to be great so yeah the next
thing I set myself for 2023 was making
sure that I was having more iners social
interaction and not just FaceTiming my
friends or texting them because it's so
easy when you have friends that you've
been friends with for 10 years to just
not see each other and just catch up on
the phone or catch up on text and
because you know each other so well
that's kind of enough but I made a real
effort this year to see friends I
haven't seen in a while especially since
moving and when I tell you they are some
of my favorite days of my year so that
is definitely something that I'm going
to carry on into 2024 just making sure
I'm seeing my friends as frequently as I
can obviously not you know missing out
on work things to see friends but I
definitely think there's been more
balance in my year this year and I've
just felt so good for it perfect I'm
going to do a little drizzle of garlic
oil over the top do we do pepperoni I
feel like on this one no but really the
main thing that I've learned in 2023 is
is it's all about balance like I said
earlier it's the consistent things not
the crazy things and that extends to
everything in my life and that's really
what I've been going with okay I'm going
to lay out the other ingredients that I
have this little salami set from M&S is
so cute I guess it's going to be like a
little Shu tree board can you do
anchovies on a pizza I feel like that
would be so good I'm going to get them
out and just have them there just in
case we have the bar and then this is
the Truffle but I'm going to Che this
out I bet this will smell insane ooh I
also want to get my hot honey out as
well mhm insane gosh this is so extra I
love it I need something here maybe I
put the barata there doesn't look very
pretty does it it's not even verat I
don't think I think I just got
mozzarella in the end I opted not for br
honestly I've outd done myself I'm going
to open
these okay it's
ready I'm nervous hot honey uh I feel
like I need to get something to put
these in look a bit gross do a little
bowl of fry Sprouts I think I could
actually cook these in the pizza oven M
they're just a snack on would move okay
fine I'm scared it says 2 minutes on the
thing okay it's
shut I don't have a
timer oh my goodness I'm so nervous I'm
like do I have time to bring you over
here can you see that it's put hard see
it's almost
done I don't want to burn it you guys
this is so exciting I think it's almost
done I definitely needed to like brush
the crust with something like oil or
something okay it's been 2
minutes oh my goodness I would call that
a raging success the first one well we
should definitely try it and don't want
to cut my plate oh my goodness it smells
insane oh my goodness I am so happy is
if I can make this at home well my
friends I'm going to love you and leave
