Transcripts
I've been recording for 4 minutes
already damn how's it going everybody
welcome back to the show called Joey
answers your questions the show it's
been a hot minute and I have absolutely
no idea what questions I'm going to
answer today but we're going to jump
right into it because why do you want to
listen to an intro yall know what's been
going on in my life or not and also why
do I want to tell you what's been going
on with my life the internet is a scary
place AI is going to take over pretty
soon if it hasn't already and the less
personal information out there the
better so let's just stick to business
let's talk about your problems and how
to solve
them also yes the wall panels behind me
the wood slot panels they are not even
in fact they're not even secured to the
wall they are just sitting
there I'll fix it later
[Music]
chip chap chop said 7 months ago it's
frustrating when you can see exactly
what you want but have no idea how to
get there and how to get past the
obstacles in your way it feels easy to
get caught on all the garbage that is
designed to pacify your desires when you
feel like you're getting nowhere maybe
it's a problem of
perspective yeah I feel like a lot of
things in life are a problem of
perspective like if we had the right
perspective on things the the right way
to look at it we would get things done
in our lives we' live way better but the
problem is it's hard to identify what's
a lie like for
instance one thing that I've been
thinking about a lot recently is I feel
like people get frustrated when they see
really successful people and they think
to themselves damn it just seems like
they are motivated and have fun with
doing ult things like the things that
are healthy the things that are good for
them it just seems like they want to do
those things genuinely and they don't
want to play video games all day and
they they actually don't want to scroll
social media all day it feels like we
really want to be the type of person who
is genuinely motivated to do the
difficult things and to do all these
little steps that we need to do on the
road to getting exactly what we want in
life but
I think that you already are that type
of person right there's just a
miscommunication going on if you really
opened your eyes and were conscious as
you did your Escape behaviors you know
if you were fully conscious and paid
attention to how you feel when you are
doing what you shouldn't be doing you
would realize that you don't enjoy these
things nearly as much as you think you
do you're just doing them compulsively
you know when you've been putting
something something off for a long time
you know you need to clean your room and
it's really messy it's been messy for a
really long time and every single day
that passes maybe weeks go by and the
tension builds you just think to
yourself I really need to clean this
room but I don't want to and you go do
something else that's more fun but the
one day that out of necessity you know
it gets to a boiling point or maybe your
mom yells at you because you still live
in the house you have no skill you're a
loser whatever it is something finally
compels you to clean your entire room in
one Fell Swoop 100 times out of 100 when
you're in the process of finally
cleaning your room and you're like 45
minutes into it and things are starting
to look a lot better order is being
restored the feeling that you feel
during these moments is always holy
smokes this feels really good I'm really
enjoying this why didn't I do this
earlier it feels so great to live in a
reality where my room is getting cleaner
and I'm doing what I finally need to do
there's something very empowering about
living in that reality if you were fully
conscious during these moments you would
realize that cleaning your room is fun
it's something that you actually like to
do you enjoy it you feel good when you
do it it is not this big scary thing it
is in fact an activity that if you were
to do this type of thing more often your
life would be more enjoyable not less
enjoyable so so I feel like a lot of the
time doing what we need to do and doing
all these annoying little steps in the
way of what we need to do when we think
about it that way we're not going to do
them because it feels like we're
operating from this perspective of oh I
should do this thing these are things
that I have to do I don't know what
these steps are to do what I have to do
right it's poor language because it's
not that you should do these things
right who's telling you that you should
do them where is this feeling of should
a lot of the time what we should do is
actually what we want to do so why not
take a step back dive into what you
should do and really pay attention to
how it makes you feel not scrolling on
your phone not playing video games not
watching inappropriate content on the
internet that's not giving anything up
there's nothing about it that you truly
enjoy there's nothing there that you can
take with you into life and you can feel
good about yourself and your existence
being a healthy motivated individual is
about realizing that it's not about
brainwashing yourself into success it's
about un-brainwash yourself so that you
no longer think that you enjoy these
shitty behaviors you don't nobody wants
to do the things that would lead them to
this type of Lifestyle this type of
mindset therefore the activities
involved with getting to this level of
degeneracy would require a type of
brainwashing to do am I making any sense
in a cosmic sort of way yes you just
have to let go of the lie that these
other shitty behaviors actually feel
good you know they don't rise above
reclaim the life that you
want yeah I'll answer another question
what the hell
[Music]
Scott Smith 8861 4 months ago said hey
hey Joey I'm currently in year
11 I'm assuming that's grade 11 and I am
about to start school yet I am extremely
stressed about the year due to the new
teachers that I will
have as in they don't teach in a way
that I understand the work that is being
taught which causes a a lot of stress
and self-doubt any advice going into
this New Year anyway love the videos
they have really been helping me answer
the hard questions in life thanks well
allow me to attempt to help you answer a
not so hard question in life so if
you're about to start the year how do
you already know that they will teach in
a way that you won't understand have you
struggled with this in the past have you
struggled with these teachers in the
past do these teachers suck at teaching
in any case clearly
you've started the year I think cuz this
was four months ago how's it been going
maybe you're doing something way better
maybe your approach is better than the
approach that I'm about to propose don't
be stressed about
anything my goodness what an idea why
didn't I think of that you know don't be
stressed about teachers that you may or
may not understand right you can learn
so much on the internet just basically
learn what they're trying to teach you
and go look it up on the internet go
look it up on YouTube after every single
concept of math or geography
English computer programming roast beef
some chicken a pizza it's all available
online right so it just takes a little
bit of elbow grease don't stress you
know chill enjoy the lecture take some
good notes and if there's anything you
don't get just look it up online chances
are you figured it out already without
my help so it's all right uh how's it
going by the way right in this video in
the comment section how if did you
figure it out or did you not figure it
out let me

months ago says hi Joey I have been
struggling lately I've been doing all
sorts of things all sorts of thing to
get out of the rut revisiting self-help
books watching inspiring movies talking
to a friend and I have been stuck since
April
2022 it's been more than a year I almost
even started to believe that my whole
existence is to be the fuel for other
people's vision and I should learn to be
content with being the rat in the rat
race damn I just remembered this Channel
and decided to stop by perhaps your
message from the staircase is the last
piece of the puzzle I needed thank you
so much okay so it's not a question it's
just saying that I helped them yeah I
mean this goes back to my first point
guys this the last video I made was
called vision and I was just talking
about how if you don't have a vision for
where you want your life to go then the
world is really really good the modern
world is set up in a way that by default
you will be fulfilling somebody else's
Vision right you can't just opt out of
deciding what you want to do with your
life that being said it doesn't have to
be a perfect vision right A lot of
people get stressed out when I say stuff
like this and they sit in an empty room
trying to think of oh what's the perfect
thing I should do with my life I need to
find my purpose and I need I need to
choose right otherwise my life will go
down the deep end go off the deep end
and I will choose the wrong thing don't
worry about that choose something that
motivates you it can be a small goal or
a big goal as long as it's motivating to
you and you're excited about it if you
think to yourself man that would be so
cool to get there and I can get there
that's perfect and then you figure out
bigger Vision stuff through action and
through getting things done right don't
just sit there and try to pick the
perfect thing and the perfect life
Direction Just aim at something
something that is exciting to you
something that would personally get you
up in the morning and charge into it
right and through doing that there is
your life
purpose I think that's about it guys
there's not a lot of questions here on
my last video but what do I expect I
kind of dropped off the face of the
planet uh moving into my new house and
all of this but things are getting set
up and let me know what you guys want to
see do you guys want to see a house tour
do you guys want to see cooking with
Joey do you want to see some more
self-help Tik Tok React videos do you
want me to start some YouTube drama or
do you want me to just solve all of your
life's problems as if I'm not just a
dude sitting in his house and somehow
I'm some self-improvement Guru who has
all the answers just let me know what
you want to see otherwise you're going

subreddit

for
modri oh okay that's
funny Joey hasn't posted in two months
is everything okay I just noticed that
there hasn't been any new videos for a
long long time and I'm starting to worry
does anybody know about anything or is
he just taking his time tesmo 1 says he
did post pictures on the better ideas
Instagram that is true you can't surf
Lake said he's getting lazy
JK hopefully some more videos soon
nefarious D says based on his Instagram
I think he's on vacation somewhere and
verasso
ver what says if I remember correctly he
did say he wanted to rest you know it's
a combination of all these things but
I'm glad you guys are looking out for me
the truth
is you know I I'm in a new build I don't
have a kitchen I don't have a shower uh
I've been making do but those things are
getting finished up my house is shaping
up to be productivity Central film
making and art
making
Valhalla and and I'm really excited
about it and the reason why it's taking
a long time is because I want to do it
right I want to make sure this place is
a monument to counteract degeneracy and
Thrive and just be the best version of
me and I also just want it to be dope
and I want to invite family and friends
over so we can watch Cinema and have a
good time and cook steaks on the

something from here you will get merch
it's kind of like Legacy merch to be
honest with you um so yeah not a scam
but also outdated I would go to better

better idea Style I don't have his
recording or editing skills but I like
the style and want to help people also
when is his next video coming Jeep guy
3199 says I think that's great I got no
idea when his next video is coming out
but if you want to start making your own
videos to help people then start off by
telling a story or what people want to
hear or something entertaining such as
an anecdote story or past experiences
then say the advice then leave with
something powerful like a question
something for the viewer to think about
you know that's that's a better
structure than all of my videos I think
you uh secretly know the answer to the
better ideas formula and how to succeed
on YouTube Jeep guy so that was just
really good advice I have nothing to
add Joey knows what he's talking about
young homeless man shares real truth

scene love it okay guys if you want to
answer a question or if you want a

then head on over to rea.com r/b better
ideas and post something funny like
making fun of how I look like this well
you know what that's mean of me I'm not
by posting this photo and saying that I
look like this guy and for me to say
you're making fun of me
that reflects poorly on this man
here cuz if he was Brad Pit I would say
you're flattering me so by saying you're
making fun of me by looking at this guy
that has a bad
