Fushimi Inari Taisha more commonly known
as the Thousand Tor gate Temple Fushimi
Inari Taisha is an essential site to
visit while you're in Kyoto even if it
is one of the more popular tourist
destinations but don't worry because as
you already know with this channel I've
got a great piece of advice to help you
avoid all of those crowds Fushimi andar
TAA is one of Japan's iconic gems
offering Taurus a view that truly
encapsulates an outsider's view of Japan
and that would be none other than the
red Tory Gates what's more this site has
become a popular site amongst tourists
due to the thousands of red Tory Gates
you can get lost in on top of that
Fushimi andad TAA makes a great hiking
spot as trekking the full loop could
take a couple hours to complete and of
course as you walk through this area you
will have plenty of opportunities to C
capture that picture perfect photo for
the memory books however as I mentioned
before this place can get extremely
crowded due to its immense popularity so
here's a piece of advice if you want to
experience all of the magic of this
place without all of the tourists what
many people don't realize is this Shrine
is open 24 hours a day meaning you can
check this spot out at night when there
really aren't many if any tourist around
not only is this the ideal time to visit
due to the low amount of VIs visitors
but I think it's even better than going
during the daytime as the Night Lights
really add to its mysterious and magical
Aura giving you some truly Unforgettable
memories and photos of this area Fushimi
inar TAA is the perfect spot to visit at
night and is something you can't pass up
while you're in Kyoto number six
arashiyama arashiyama is one of Kyoto's
popular destinations as it offers a
bunch of unique places to check out in
one convenient area for starters
arashiyama is home to the iconic bamboo
forest the place where you always see
those iconic photos of kilo being taken
here you can get lost through the
multiple walking paths that offer
astounding views of these massive bamboo
stalks and as a bonus tip if you want to
avoid all the tourists taking videos in
the main bamboo forest area you can go
right off to the side of the entrance
and get a couple nice shots at an area
called Sago Bamboo Grove instead where
you will see hardly any tourists and can
get some great photos of your yourself
aside from arashiyama bamboo forest you
can also head over to iwat yama's Peak
rest house where you can climb to the
top of a mountain and visit a monkey

your latte with a refreshing matcha ice
cream scoop giving you a great way to

number four sanen zaka and ninenzaka
sanen zaka and ninenzaka are some of
Kyoto's most famous streets to visit
offering a perfect blend of a
picturesque and Traditional landscape
that really immerses you into Kyoto's
traditional atmosphere here you can
wander the alleys and explore all the
different stalls and shops that you'll
find at nearly every corner of these
Street streets while this place might
offer a very nice atmosphere of a more
traditional Kyoto it can also get really
crowded during the day so here's my
advice to you if you do plan on coming
to sonen zaka and ninenzaka it would be
best to head here first thing in the
morning well before any tourists will
get there this will allow you to walk
around the streets without any
overcrowded stores and walkways plus it
will make it easier for you to grab that
perfect photo you're looking for number
three m ke Bakery coming in at number
three on this list we have a very unique
and hidden pastry shop known as muky
Bakery the reason this Bakery made it so
high on this list is because of how
hidden and tucked away this shop is
offering you a small sample of what
Kyoto is truly like here you will only
find locals and truly Savvy tourists
that know how to find the true gems of
Kyoto so if you found this video you're
one of the lucky few to know about this
spot going inside you'll see dozens of
delicious pastries to choose from all of
which are a perfect way to restore your
energy after spending the entire day
exploring so if you're in the area and
want a quick way to recharge while
enjoying a delicious snack then head to
Moki Bakery and enjoy some freshly baked
treats number two wagi senon Sai
similarly to the wagu ramen restaurant
wagi senon Sai is the perfect dessert
delicacy shop to visit due to its hidden
location from Taurus and for its
delicious and unique dessert while the
quality and amazing flavor of their
Delicacies are reason enough to visit
wagi senon Saudi alone the fact that
there are little to no tourists that
know of the shop make it all the better
to come visit here when you first enter
you'll be impressed with the modern and
clean layout the restaurant has giving
you the hint that you're in for a very
refined and unique experience and of
course what makes this place so great
are it's delicious and remarkable treats
and if you've been wondering what these
treats exactly are well here here's your
answer this shop specializes in all
different types of chestnut themed
desserts you can order several different
variations of chestnut desserts like the
chestnut Mont Blanc dessert where the
chestnut topping is drizzled on top
right in front of your eyes or you can
order a more standard but equally
picturesque dish of a chestnut delicacy
paired with top quality fresh fruits and
jams no matter what you pick here you
will be very impressed as they perfectly
blend the natural flavors of the
chestnut with all the fresh fruits and
toppings that they put in together wui
senon Saudi is an unforgettable
experience and is a must visit the next
time you're in Kyoto before we head to
number one on this list let's cover some
honorable mentions first like the gon
district and nio Castle gon is one of
the central hubs of kilo where you can
go shopping in the dozens of traditional
stores that line the streets and pick up
some great souvenirs to remember your
trip or you can head to njo Castle where
provides a great view of one of Japan's
iconic Castle grounds here you can get a
glimpse of what royalty life was like by
walking through the inside of the main
Castle grounds and walking inside some
of their most prized rooms the only
downside to this place is you can't
actually film the inside which is
understandable but is also why I
couldn't film anything of the inside all
that means for you is it's just one more
reason to head to this place so you can
see it for yourself when you're in Kyoto
number one guon duck noodles making the
top of this list is a truly unique shop
known as gon duck noodles while the
majority of ramen shops in Japan offer
you a pork or fish-based type of ramen
options gon duck noodles specializes in
well duck a very rare style of ramen
that only a handful of stores offer in
all of Japan and what makes this place
even more special is out of all the duck
ramen shops I've been to this one is
clearly the best one I have visited and
we are about to go over why when you
first arrive you know you're in for a
truly special experience when there is
already a line at the door and it isn't
even open open yet and if the line
didn't already get your attention the
unique menu will definitely Peak your
curiosity as you'll see the menu offers
a unique way of ordering your meal once
you're done ordering off of the unique
menu simply wait for your turn to head
inside and get ready to experience a
unique and delicious bowl of noodles
when our orders came out we were
immediately impressed by the elegant and
artistic presentation each of our Entre
had Matilda who ordered the scaman style
meal had a delicious mix between a
Savory Bowl bow of duck broth and meat
with a great mix of fresh Berry paste
lining the bowl allowing her to mix and
match her taste palette with all the
different flavors available to her as
for me I had the traditional noodle bowl
set which came complete with some
delicious slices of duck a Savory and
salty dashi broth in perfectly cooked
noodles all of which were perfectly
Blended for an unforgettable experience
to top it all off the staff were
extremely friendly and pleased to serve
us from start to finish so the next time
you're in kilo I highly recommend you
check out guong duck noodles for your
unique and Unforgettable experience if
you made it to this part of the video
then here's that invaluable tip that I
mentioned at the beginning as a reward
for watching all the way to the end if
you feel comfortable enough in doing so
get a rental car while you're in Kyoto
as it will save you loads of time as you
might have read online and through
research in Kyoto you'll see that the
train system isn't exactly the most
convenient and efficient for when it
comes to hitting these remote areas in
temples and Kyoto leaving you with the
only other option which is the bus
system which can also become extremely
crowded and just make it an overall
unpleasant experience however with a car
not only can you cut all of the time
that you would spend traveling between
each destination but you also get a much
more private and personalized trip
between each location not even to
mention that if you're traveling during
the winter or summer when the
temperatures are more on the extreme
side of things you will save yourself a
ton of uncomfortable rides in between
each location as the car will offer you
refreshing and r vitalizing air
conditioning during these blisteringly
hot summers or some nice refreshing heat
during those colder winter months so do
your research and see what you need to
get a rental car successfully as it will
save you a ton of headache while you're
in Kyoto email me to ask about my Japan
planning services like this video if you
found it useful subscribe for more
videos about Japan and check out my
affiliate links below for when you plan
your next trip to Japan all right that's
going to do it and until next time I'll
see you then
