Friends, today we are going to talk about Tata Curve.
What's going to be good and what's not going to be good.
All details so that you are prepared when this car is going

So without wasting time, let's start about it.
See, Tata Curve is trying to make a car that is bigger than
Nexon and smaller than Harrier at the same time.
Because today Nexon's top end goes for 17-18 lakhs on road.
Whereas Harrier's top end goes for 32-33 lakhs.
So there is a huge difference in their price gap and also in size.
So if a buyer wants to buy a car in the middle, they don't
have an option in Tata Motors.
So Tata Motors is trying to fill in that space.
Now I am going to share an interesting fact with you which
will bring clarity to a lot of people.
See, Tata's first plan was that Blackbird will be launched here.
And a lot of people talked a lot about it.
But that product has been scrapped.
And I will explain you how.
Now Tata Motors launched two new platforms.
One was their Alpha which had their Punch and Altroz.
A small sized car.
Whereas their Harrier and Safari was made on Omega R.
Now the car which they have to bring in the middle size, if
they make the big platform smaller, it becomes expensive.
If they make the small platform bigger, they were facing
some engineering issues.
Because of this, they collaborated with China.
From a company called Cherry.
And they were going to bring Blackbird from there.
Their plan was to Indianize it and sell it.
And here the problem started when Galvan happened.
And after Galvan war, they cancelled China.
So that's a very good move. I am happy about it.
But they didn't have the product.
So now what do you do?
Tata Motors worked on their Nexon platform and extended it.
Now I will tell you that their Nexon platform is very old.
Today, Nexon platform is actually the Indica Vista platform.
Which is a platform from 2005-2006.
That was their platform on which they have been modifying,
changing, making updates.
And now they have changed it again and made it for the curvv.
Just a fact for you, the platform of Tiago and Tigor, their
original Indica platform was further modified.
So these are their old platforms of Tata Motors.

It has connected LED headlamps, small size LED lights,
17-inch tires and ground clearance of 200-210 mm.
And this will be the first car in its category to get a
sloping roofline.
Now this sloping roofline makes the car look sporty.
Let's be very fair with you.
Now this may look sporty, like Lamborghini Urus or BMW X6.
And this has been given in the same pattern.
Now will people expect this or not? I am not sure.
It's a bit too early to say that.
Tata Motors believes that this category is more premium.
So because of this, people will be more interested in this
car, just purely from its design point of view.

So because of this, you may not get something extraordinary
in the curve which you may be getting in Nexon.
Even today, Nexon, if you compare it with Venue and Brezza,
offers a lot of features.
So in this category, you may not get as much expectations as in the curve.
So what will you get in this?
You will get a 10 or 12-inch touchscreen system, a digital
instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, blind-view
monitoring, connected car tech, rear AC vents, ventilated
seats, electronic parking brake, auto-hold, all these
things will be available.
ADAS will be level 2.
So you will get front collision warning, adaptive cruise
control, in fact, you will get help for blind-view
monitoring on your mirrors
because we have already seen this in test cars.
Plus, when you reverse the car, you get a rear
cross-traffic alert.
So you will get all these features in the curve.
Now look, these are good, because you don't get some things
in Nexon that you are getting here.
So if you are looking from that angle that I want Tata,
I am not getting this in Nexon,

tall passengers sit at the back, then they may have a

But if I talk about the engines, then there will be a change here.
Look, Tata Motors is going to give three engine options
here. One is 1.2 liter TGDI engine.
Now this current Nexon engine will make a little more power.
It is a three-cylinder engine.
We are expecting close to 125-128 bhp, it can go up to 130 bhp.
And the second engine that is coming is 1.5 liter turbo petrol.
And it is going to be the most powerful in this category.

Creta and Seltos, which gives you 160 bhp.
After that, Kushaq Tigon comes at 150 bhp.
