Q & A
What is the purpose of the video and what disclaimers are provided by the speaker?
-The purpose of the video is to discuss handwriting traits that may indicate various psychological states and conditions without going into graphic detail. The speaker provides a disclaimer to not judge their handwriting due to the use of a graphic tablet and offers a content guide in the description for viewers who may be sensitive to certain topics.
What does a forward slant in handwriting indicate according to the video?
-A forward slant in handwriting indicates that a person does not hold back their emotions from others. An extreme forward slant suggests impulsivity, such as making emotional decisions or not understanding social boundaries.
What does a straight up and down handwriting slant signify?
-A straight up and down handwriting slant signifies a person who is logically thinking and collected, essentially the opposite of impulsive.
What does a back slant in handwriting suggest about a person's past?
-A back slant in handwriting is an indicator of past trauma or being 'damaged goods', suggesting that the person is still being affected by their past experiences.
Can you explain the three zones of a person's handwriting as mentioned in the video?
-The three zones of handwriting are similar to Freudian psychoanalysis components: Zone one is the thinking zone, related to future planning and the super ego; Zone two is the social zone, representing day-to-day communication and the ego; Zone three is the id, representing relationships to money, sex, power, and other 'lusticky' things.
What does the presence of 'felons claw' in handwriting suggest about a person?
-The 'felons claw' in handwriting is a trait that some graphologists associate with manipulation and deception, as it is common in people in prison. However, it can also appear in young women and teenage girls who are exploring their sexuality, and both groups may exhibit self-destructive habits due to deep-rooted guilt.
What does the baseline of handwriting indicate about a person's reliability and emotional state?
-A wavy baseline indicates uncertainty, while a straight baseline suggests responsibility and dependability. However, if the baseline is perfectly straight, it can indicate tension, suppression, and the potential for the person to be a 'ticking time bomb'.
How does the distance between letters and words in handwriting relate to a person's emotional and social relationships?
-The distance between letters represents one's relationship to their emotions, while the distance between words represents one's relationship to others. Small spaces between words can indicate extroversion, while large spaces can indicate introversion or paranoia.
What does the presence of aggression in handwriting, such as spikes and pressure, indicate about a person?
-The presence of aggression in handwriting, indicated by spikes and heavy pressure, suggests that the person may be more confrontational or have a tendency towards aggressive behavior.
How can the openness or closure of 'a's and 'o's in handwriting be interpreted according to the video?
-Open 'a's and 'o's without unnecessary loops indicate honesty and openness. However, extra entanglements in these letters can suggest secrecy, while the degree to which they are open can indicate an inability to stop talking or a preference for oral sex.
What does the use of mixed capital and lowercase letters in handwriting signify in terms of personality traits?
-A consistent mix of capital and lowercase letters in handwriting may indicate psychopathy. However, this trait must be consistent to be noteworthy, and exceptions exist, such as random capital letters indicating an aversion to authority.
How do the margins in handwriting relate to a person's relationship with societal rules and norms?
-Writing that starts before the designated starting line can indicate a person who likes to make their own rules, often seen in criminals. Perfectly aligning with the ending line can indicate a 'ticking time bomb' personality, similar to a perfectly straight baseline.
What does the size of handwriting reveal about a person's personality and potential behaviors?
-Big handwriting indicates extroversion and a desire to make an impression, while small handwriting can indicate introversion. Consistently small handwriting can also be a sign of anorexia in teens, and is associated with bomb-makers.
How can the direction of handwriting strokes indicate a person's optimism or pessimism?
-Upward angles in handwriting strokes, such as in t-bars or baselines, indicate optimism, while downward angles suggest pessimism or depression.
What does the height of the t-bar in handwriting signify about a person's self-esteem?
-The height of the t-bar in handwriting indicates how much a person believes in themselves, how high they set the bar for themselves, or essentially, their self-esteem.
How do signatures differ from regular handwriting in terms of personality representation?
-Signatures do not represent who we are but rather who we want society to see us as. A signature that looks nothing like regular handwriting suggests a performative personality, while one that is similar indicates authenticity.
What can the distance between a person's first and last name in their signature indicate about their relationship with their family?
-The distance between the first and last name in a signature can indicate how close a person feels to their family, specifically their father. A close distance can suggest 'daddy issues', while a crossed-out last name may indicate a desire to cut out the family entirely.
How can you detect lies in handwriting according to the video?
-Lies in handwriting can be detected by an odd space on the page, which occurs because the hand stops writing while the brain is formulating the lie, but the hand continues moving.
Outlines
📝 Introduction to Handwriting Analysis
The script begins with a cautionary note about discussing sensitive topics such as eating disorders, mental illness, and trauma. The speaker assures viewers that no graphic details will be provided and offers a safety guide in the description for those who wish to avoid certain topics. The video then introduces handwriting analysis, focusing on slants as indicators of a person's emotional expression and social boundaries. It explains that a forward slant suggests impulsivity, a straight slant indicates logical thinking, and a back slant may be linked to past trauma.
🔍 Zones and Baselines in Handwriting
This paragraph delves into the three zones of handwriting, which correspond to Freudian psychoanalysis components: the super ego (thinking and future planning), the ego (social interactions), and the id (personal desires and drives). It mentions that large lower zones may indicate strong desires for money, sex, and social connections, while specific traits like 'felons claw' could suggest manipulation or self-destructive habits. The paragraph also covers the significance of handwriting baselines, which can reveal a person's reliability and potential for suppressed emotions leading to explosive outbursts.
🌐 Social Interactions and Emotional Expression
The script discusses the spacing between letters and words in handwriting as indicators of a person's relationship with emotions and others. Close word spacing may suggest extroversion and overbearing tendencies, while spaced-out words could indicate introversion or paranoia. The paragraph also explores aggression in handwriting, which can be seen in the form of spikes and heavy pressure on the paper. In contrast, round and loopy handwriting is associated with creativity and imagination, with specific loop formations suggesting secrecy or dishonesty.
🔤 Letter Formation and Psychological Traits
This section examines the psychological implications of letter formations, such as mixed capital and lowercase letters, which may indicate psychopathy if consistent. It also touches on the significance of 'a's and 'o's being open or closed, which can suggest communication habits and preferences. Additionally, the paragraph explores the meaning behind margins in handwriting, where writing too far from the edge may indicate a desire for independence or distancing from society, while perfectly aligning with the edge could suggest suppressed emotions ready to erupt.
✍️ Signature Analysis and Detecting Lies
The final paragraph shifts focus to signature analysis, explaining that signatures represent how individuals want to be perceived by society rather than their true selves. It discusses how the distance between first and last names in a signature can reflect familial closeness or distance, particularly with the father. The paragraph also mentions the potential for detecting lies through unusual spacing in handwriting and concludes with a personal note from the speaker about the value of graphology and the intention for future videos on the subject.

Transcripts
before beginning this video i just need
to say that i will
occasionally be going over handwriting
traits that are indicators of
eating disorders mental illness past
trauma suicide along with
other sensitive topics but i want to
assure you that i do not go into any
graphic detail
so i don't think this will be an issue
for anyone
but if you would prefer to play it safe
and skip over when i mentioned this
stuff then pause the video
and i have made a guide in the
description that states what times i
will be talking about
certain um sensitive topics so you can
watch the video and enjoy it safely
without being afraid of
getting caught off guard or being
triggered and last disclaimer
is don't judge my handwriting i know it
looks like extra crazy right now but
that's just because i'm writing on a
graphic tablet
that i'm still getting a hang of using
so
uh leave me alone okay let's get into it
i'm gonna start with slants these are
pretty easy to see
even if you remember nothing from this
video and only remember slant you'll
still be able to understand a lot about
a person
just by looking at slants a forward
slant is
a person who doesn't hold their emotions
back from people
a slight forward slant is generally the
norm but if it's a pretty extreme slant
this indicates impulsivity such as
making emotional decisions or not really
understanding social boundaries
a la over sharing or just physical
social boundaries like standing too
close to people when you're having a
conversation
a straight up and down handwriting is a
head over the heart type of person who
is
logically thinking collected essentially
the opposite of
impulsive a back slant is an
indicator of past trauma or what my
favorite graphologist mike mandel
love you mike would call damaged goods
now this doesn't mean that people
without a backsland haven't
experienced trauma or seen some
they were just able to cope with it
better most likely because they either
had good friends or came from a good
household
or had overall better coping methods the
difference
is people who have backslash are still
being affected
by their trauma unlike people without
back slants
who either haven't experienced trauma or
were able to heal oh
next zones there are three zones to a
person's handwriting
and they happen to be very similar to
the
freudian three components of
psychoanalysis if you're familiar with
that
zone one is thinking future planning big
brain stuff the super ego
zone two is the social zone it
represents day-to-day communication
small
stuff you know social things that would
be the ego
interpersonal relationships zone three
is the
id it represents your relationship to
money sex power
clout friends food all the like lusty
things
and if you have handwriting with big
lower zones
you know this means you would have a
huge sex drive you need a lot of money
and friends to be happy and content
if if we want to get more specific into
lower zone
traits if you have some crazy lower
zones happening
like twists and corkscrews and curly
whatnots
this indicates bizarre sexual fetishes
a different specific trait to look at in
the lower zones
is what expert graphologists call the
felons claw
there's what it looks like and different
graphologists will butt heads
on what this trait means some say that
this is a trait of manipulation and
deception
given that around what 80 percent of the
people in prison have this trait
but graphologists also know that this
trait shows up in young women
and teenage girls who are starting to
discover their sexuality and have sex
for the first time
so they also exhibit the felons claw
trait
what is agreed upon for both sides is
that
people with the felons claw trait have a
deep
rooted guilt and they
often engage in self-destructive habits
that basically
punish themselves that's enough for the
lower zones as mentioned the middle zone
represents day-to-day communication and
if your handwriting is mostly in the
middle zone
hi yes your handwriting is mostly in the
middle zone
uh then you're most likely a student um
because that's what being a student is
all
okay talking about the
if you have dominant upper zones then
this means that you
do a lot of thinking not necessarily a
lot of
doing but you do a lot of thinking i've
met a lot of psych majors
that have dominant upper zones people
who really like philosophy
next thing that's easy to notice right
off the bat looking at a person's
handwriting
is their baseline if it's a little wavy
then that's okay that means that this
person doesn't exactly know what they're
doing
but you know that's pretty normal it's
concerning though if it's all over the
place and like super wavy then
this means this person is just a hot
mess um
if it's a pretty straight baseline then
this means that this person is probably
very responsible dependable
reliable however it's very concerning if
it's like
straight as a ruler and it looks like
perfect because it indicates tension
suppression concealment and
it's almost like this person is a
ticking time bomb uh
this person is trying so hard to get
everything right that they suppress all
the bad stuff and then it just
comes lashing out like when they're
drunk or when they're angry or otherwise
next thing the distance between letters
represents one's relationship to their
emotions
while the distance between words
represents one's relationship to others
if the space between words are small
this indicates
extroversion keeping people close but if
it's taken to the extreme then this
person is
most likely overbearing words that are
more spaced out
indicate introversion but if they're
spaced
out to the extreme this indicates
paranoia
and the fear of people next up let's
talk about aggression
um aggression is seen in handwriting
that has a lot of spikes
and you can also notice aggression by
how much pressure
how much pressure the pencil is on the
paper
hi
okay oh so now you're going to leave
handwriting that is more round and loopy
in nature
indicates imagination creativity however
notice
where there are loops where it isn't
needed
um if there are any entanglements in o's
a's or any letters with
a loop if there are these extra
entanglements happening
then this indicates secrecy versus an
open loop which represents
honesty openness etc on the subject of
a's and o's
um and this is kind of a weird one but
look at if they're closed all the way um
and look at to the degree of which
they're open this
indicates an inability to stop talking
and a preference for oral sex
um next trait is note when there's a mix
of
capitals and lowercase letters this
indicates
psychopathy um of course like all traits
it has to be consistent to
even be worth noting
on like for example i was analyzing a
friend's writing
and he gave me his diary to look at and
there were like
one or two pages that had a mix of
lowercase and capitals
but this is no reason to be concerned
because it's not a reoccurring thing
um he was just more likely in a state
a very heightened emotional state when
writing on these pages
which i found out later that he was and
there are a few exceptions to the
capitals
lower case letter mixie trait such as if
there are like random capital k's
in your letter like in like in the
middle of a word
um where there aren't supposed to be
this just indicates an aversion to
authority like bosses teachers etc
next let's look at the margins the norm
is to start at the red line and then
right until the blue line or a little
bit past the blue line
but a person who starts before the red
line
this indicates that a person who likes
to make their own rules
and it's a trait that often appears in
the writing of criminals
i did meet one person who actually
started writing like
well after the red line like practically
in the middle of the
page i don't know what expert
graphologists would say on this
but what i would say given what i know
about graphology the handwriting i've
seen the people i've met my theory would
be that this is a person who
purposefully distances themselves
from society last thing about margins
is if a person perfectly lines up their
writing with the blue line
this is essentially the same trait as
the person who has a
perfectly straight bass line this
indicates they're a ticking time bomb
and you have no idea
when they might lash out next big
writing versus small writing
big writing is a person who is
extroverted and their personality is
very presentational
they want to make an impression this is
the same is also true if they put like
hearts over the eyes or stars
small handwriting indicates introversion
and funny enough people who make bombs
also have consistently small handwriting
this doesn't mean that all people with
small handwriting
make bombs it's like a rectangle is a
square but a square is
not a rectangle or the opposite i don't
you know what i'm saying
most importantly keep an eye out for
handwriting that gets smaller and
smaller over time
especially in teens because this is
actually
the biggest indicator of anorexia in
um graphology on a different note look
at the direction of someone's
handwriting
if the t-bars are angled up or the bass
lines curve upwards
this indicates optimism downward angles
indicate pessimism depression
on the subject of t-bars how high you
put that t-bar indicates
how much you believe in yourself how
high you set the bar for yourself or how
high your self-esteem
is now moving on to signatures they
don't work by the same rules as
what we just covered in this entire
video
uh because signatures actually don't
really represent who we
are they represent who we want society
to see us as
for example if you have a signature that
looks nothing like your
regular handwriting this person is
either performing
figuratively they they have that
performative personality they're not
really showing you who they really are
the exception is that that's just their
job
aka they're an actor they're a comedian
they're
an artist but that's really the only
exception but if you have a signature
that's like the same as your
regular handwriting then what you see is
what you get you might not like it but
authenticity another thing that you can
pick up in signatures
is you can actually tell who has daddy
issues
just by looking at their signature if
you look at how close
or far a person's first name is from
their last name this represents how
close they feel to their family more
specifically
the father because that is the father's
last name right
um however if this is like a married
woman
and and she took her spouse's last name
then this would represent
how close she feels to her partner also
look at if there's any anything that's
crossed out or scribbled out in any way
um so if the last name is crossed out
this
indicates that you know not only do they
feel distant from their family
but they want to cut out their family
entirely
it gets more concerning though when you
see the whole
name being crossed out uh this is a the
trait indicating suicide this trait
happens from when a person who used to
underline their signature which is
a trait that indicates leadership and
responsibility reliability etc
competence
but then it travels up and eventually
crosses out the name entirely
please talk to people if you see people
with this trait in their signature and
it might be socially inappropriate to
bring up like hey are
are you suicidal but i think it's better
to be safe and sorry and personally i
don't really mind making someone
uncomfortable if it
if it means someone gets the help that
they need
right um
oh and last thing about signatures this
is just a theory of mine given what i
know about graphology the people i've
met etc
but if the first and last name is very
close but it's to the point where it
looks like the last name
is almost taking over the first name and
this is just my theory i don't have a
degree in this
but i would say that this is a person
whose family is swallowing them whole
like practically suffocating them um so
that is my little theory
oh and lies lies i almost forgot
about detecting lies in handwriting you
can do that
lies are seen on the page when there's
an odd
space happening this happens because
your hand stops writing because your
brain is coming up with the lie but then
the hand keeps moving anyways
that that present was really uh great
that's that's how lies show up i think
that's everything
that was a lot of talking next time i
make a graphology video it won't be so
fast and dirty
but i really wanted to make the video
that i wish
that i had at my disposal when i was
learning about
graphology just to like get a quick
fast informative video on graphology
stuff
so here it is i realize now that i
really wasn't able to
cover everything nor was i able to go
into depth about anything
but i did my very best leave a like for
more graphology videos
i'm obsessed with this stuff
um thank you for your time
subscribe bye
