Simple social science project working model। India states & capitals name। Sst working model project
Summary
TLDRThis video tutorial guides viewers to create an interactive science project showcasing Indian states and capitals. Using a paper box, a map of India is affixed and holes are made for each state. Capital names are written on paper pieces and attached. Screws are used to connect state and capital holes with wires, creating a circuit. A 9V battery powers an LED and buzzer, activated by touching state and capital terminals with a pen. The result is an educational tool that lights up and beeps when the correct state and capital are connected.
Takeaways
- 📦 Used a paper box as the base for the science project.

- 🔩 Placed screws through the holes for each state and its capital.
- 🔌 Connected wires to the screws under the box for electrical connectivity.
- 🔋 Used a 9V battery to power an LED and a buzzer.
- 🔌 Connected the LED and buzzer in series with the battery.
- ✏️ Used empty pens to complete the circuit when touching state and capital.
- 💡 LED lights up and buzzer beeps when the correct state and capital are touched.
Q & A
What is the main purpose of the science project described in the transcript?
-The main purpose of the science project is to create an interactive learning tool that helps users identify the states and capitals of India.
What materials are used to make the base of the project?
-A paper box is used as the base of the project.
How is the map of India incorporated into the project?
-A map of India with all state names is cut and stuck onto the paper box.
What is the purpose of making holes on every state?
-Holes are made on every state to insert screws which will be used to connect wires for the electrical circuit.
How are the names of the capitals presented in the project?
-The names of the capitals are written on small pieces of paper and stuck on the box next to the corresponding state.
What is the function of the screw placed on J&K and Srinagar?
-The screws placed on J&K and its capital Srinagar are used to complete the electrical circuit, activating the LED and buzzer when connected.
What is the role of the wire connected between the screws under the backside of the box?
-The wire connected between the screws completes the electrical circuit, allowing the LED and buzzer to function when the corresponding state and capital are connected.
How many volts is the battery that powers the LED and buzzer?
-A 9V battery is used to power the LED and buzzer.
What happens when the terminals of the empty pen are touched?
-When the terminals of the empty pen are touched, it completes the circuit, causing the LED to light up and the buzzer to beep.
How does the user interact with the project to check the states and capitals?
-The user uses one pen to touch the state (like Gujarat) and another pen to touch the corresponding capital (like Gandhinagar), which triggers the LED and buzzer.
What is the final appearance of the project after all states and capitals are connected?
-After all states and capitals are connected, the project looks like a completed interactive map with an electrical circuit that activates when the correct state and capital are touched.
Outlines
🔬 Building a States and Capitals of India Interactive Project
The paragraph describes the process of creating a science project that visually represents the states and capitals of India. It involves using a paper box, a map of India with state names, cutting and sticking the map onto the box, making holes for each state, and writing the capitals on small pieces of paper which are then stuck next to the respective states. Additionally, screws are used to represent Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and its capital, Srinagar, with wires connecting them under the box. The same process is repeated for the remaining states and capitals. The project is completed by connecting a 9V battery, an LED, and a buzzer with wires, and using two empty pens to complete the circuit, allowing the LED and buzzer to activate when the pen terminals touch the corresponding state and capital.
💡 Demonstrating the Interactive Learning Tool
This paragraph explains how the completed project functions as an interactive learning tool. When the user touches the terminals of the pens to a state and its capital, the LED lights up and the buzzer beeps, indicating a correct connection. The process is demonstrated by touching the pen to Gujarat and its capital Gandhinagar, which triggers the LED and buzzer. The tool allows for checking any state and its capital, making it an engaging way to learn about Indian geography.

Transcripts
Today I will make an amazing science project
which is based on states amd capital of india
for this i have used a paper box like that
here i have used a map of india which has all states name on it
now cut the map properly
stick the cutting map properly on the box
now make a hole on every state like this
write all capitals name on a small piece of paper and stick on the box one by one
again make a hole on the side of the capitals name
take a screw like this and put it properly on J&K
again take a screw and put it on the capital of J&K , Srinagar
now tke a wire and connect it between the two terminal of the screw under backside of the box
we will do the same process of the remaining states and capitals
after that it will look like this
now take a 9v battery and a led
connect the positive terminal of the led to battery's positive terminal and also connect the buzzer's positive wire to the battery
connect the negative wire of the buzzer to led's negative pin
now take a wire and connect it to led negative pin
again take a wire and connect it to battery negative wire
now take two empty pen like this and pass the wires through it and connect it to a screw individually like this
now you can see when i touch the terminals of the pen the led and buzzer turn on and beeping
now settel it properly under the box like this
now i touch the pen on Gujrat and checking capitals by using another pen which is its capital and when i touch on Gandhinagar the led and buzzer turn on .. now you can check on any state and capital
Thank you !
