147,000 miles yeah if you convert that

uh if you convert that from kilm to

miles it come back to what it was yeah

yeah so we're not entirely sure however

I did do a bit of research and

apparently a low battery or

disconnection of the battery causes the

dash to go nuts yeah uh so one of those

odd things oh M because we pulled out

the C and we were getting confused cuz

we were like the C is still showing

90,000 miles yeah yeah just something

something weird happened but yeah

and just abute nightmare I'm glad we got

it sorted was it yourself that was

speaking to Dan this morning

Damen um no he has gone home okay um so

he's

uh obviously I spoke to him yeah um and

I think he's just having an off day um

but I know I know it happens but but

yeah it's just one of those obviously it

wasn't ideal you know that that's

a customer waiting here we can't give a

customer who's bought a car on 90,000 Mi

and give it back to him on 147 you know

so we're just try just trying to find a

solution and we certainly weren't

picking a fight or an argument with him

you can see that no one else does that

and they've added another new feature as

well which is an AI mechanic so you can

ask this thing questions about your car

and it will give you information on what

you should do with it what it's likely

to be you can even input fault codes and

it will tell you what that means based

off loads of information that's been fed

to this AI mechanic I've yet to use it

so I thought we could try it out and we

got a really nice car over here we've

just bought in a Maserati so let's run a

vehicle score on that first off for

completely free we can find out how our

car scores from 1 to

999 and our registration is Romeo Oscar

17 Lima Sierra Victor going to give us a

score

875 amazing gives us loads of

information mot history mileage tracker

values all that good stuff what we're

going to look at is the AI mechanic and

I'm going to have to make up a

fictitious fault with this and say

Maserati oh if I can spell it

gibli Smokey ask the question it's

thinking about it and our answer is a

smokey Maserati gibli could be an

indication of underlying issue that

needs attention here is a possible uh

here's a few possible causes for smoke

coming from the exhaust an oil leak a

coolant leak burning smell if you notice

a burning smell accompanying the smoke

it could be due to an electrical issue

such as a short circuit or faulty sensor

have it inspected by a professional that

was a very generic question but if I had

a fault code you could feed it in it

would tell you exactly what that means

not just a generic code of it could be

this with that model you tell it the

specific car and it will tell you I

think that's a pretty handy feature for

completely free in fact if you went to

view a car you could ask it some

questions about it if there's something

you're unsure about you could say you

know should there be a lip on the discs

or something and it will give you an

answer and then of course if you are

going to hand over your cash make sure

you do a check if you do the insured

Space somewhere so maybe I can move on

the Ving off site get that done

like a satellite prep site I'd love to

do it down the farm but I haven't got

planning for that so I can't do that or

maybe we could have the workshop over

there getting the bulk of the prep stuff

done keep a mechanic back at bar motors

and move the valat into the workshop

with them or with that one mechanic and

then we get our showroom back we

probably get another four or five cars

just from that um but they might tell me

they haven't got any space um I mean if

they do have they do they used to do

double length units so basically they've

got these tin kind of Nissan Hut type

things I don't know what you call them

but tin tunnels basically and they would

put a plaster board stud wall up in

between the middle of them to make two

units you got 960 Square ft and then

some of them they had them full length

so they were like 1900 sare ft the

larger one you probably could get anot

Bay in there but the other question I

need to ask is uh they're building

houses all around this industrial State

I know the guy who owns it and he bought

some other land down by Highbridge and

Burnham um train station that I tried to

bid on he only had bid Me by about 106

Grand a very expensive bit of land that

moving one to the other because he may

be selling that land off as part of

phase three of Housing Development and

they're on phase two so if you can let

them are they only shortterm or what I

if I go out there and there's a two car

there was yesterday before we had a tidy

corner and soul cars in the sale spots

and whatever that be Jordan and Mark's

responsibility so I'm just you know

someone more responsible we don't really

have that everyone kind of has been

doing their own things but I'm not very

admin put well I am actually I put rules

in place and no one just follows them

then I get fed up and I throw them away

I'm going to start again and enforce

them uh with iron law just so we can get

a bit more organized put some on my pent

up energy that we would have been

setting up m center or whatever into

doing this try and get more organized

to buy cars at the moment they are going

for a January it usually is very hard to

buy cars in January and December because

now everyone's caued on to that and they

try and buy them in December as well

that's not the end of the world we've

got plenty of cars coming in from

carsport for more.com in fact more than

we can handle so I'm mucking around with

that as well um probably sending more of

your more expensive valuations to

carbine crew because just can't afford

to buy them all we'll see what next week

if I'm just such a predictable human

being that I'm depressed on Blue January

and the week of or if it's just everyone

I speak to seems to be just having a bit

of a nightmare with it as you saw I

spent £4,000 on getting a new engine for

that thing and I need to do that and

Chap's a nice guy but my God does he

like to phone up every half an hour uh

so that engine will be arriving next

week so there'll be some footage of that

engine going into St next week I expect

yeah just niggling little warranty claim

things can't think what

some of the issues we've been having are

everyone's just been miserable just

nipping at each other and I'm here like

the dad trying to get everyone to play

nice Jordan who I set up with a Ving van

at the expense of about 5,000 you might

have seen that video actually let's

let's let's take it back Jordan I gave

the opportunity to have a business I set

up videos up here spent about £5,000 on

setting up a

van watered thing in it brand new jet

wash all that sort of stuff he was going

to try and it's like a joint venture

type thing get him out to do some Ving

which is his thing to try and make some

money he he tried for like a week and

then just gave up on it basically and

just drove this van around full of water

so rather than making me any money or us

any money it cost me money because he

was cting around about a ton Worth Water

and he just kind of gave up on that so

in the end I've stripped all the parts

out hopefully we can reuse the jet wash

and stuff for other Ving things but that

was that and yeah he keeps turning up

late spends an awful lot of time on his

phone um he came he came back turns out

a year he's told me it's a year since he

started working back here because he was

working here then he left and went to

Kazoo cuz he thought it' be better there

realized that he actually has to work

for his money at kazoo and it was you

know not a friendly environment well was

fine but not as nice as it is here

obviously and he came back when didn't

really need anyone I said I'll take you

on part time and then he kind of weeded

his way back into fulltime now he's

doing fulltime I provide him very

heavily

subsidized uh living accommodation

currently and pay him not cash in hand

but he's working as self-employed so

that he can I guess try and pay as

little tax as possible well that's and

yeah his performance probably hasn't

been great but he came and asked me for

a pay rise

yesterday

and if I wasn't depressed already I was

after that cuz I

just where

where do these thoughts come

from

unbelievable but uh there we are it's

played very well as it

is but yeah

so sounds depressing wasn't

it basically I'm I'm stressed I'm tired

I can't seem to this weather was meant

to be getting better it's still cold

today it's getting warmer next week but

wetter and

windier

I

can't I yeah just need some warmth it

not to be like depressingly horrible to

go outside not to just sap the energy

out of you because it's so

cold and yeah it would be nice won't it

looking forward to that this winter has

hit me like a ton of bricks was that a

laugh or a cry you're just

laughing just me then that's crying um

yeah that's it that's all good really

um yeah I'm doing a few podcasts next

week as well actually I'm going to do

one more my M dive so that'll be he I

know he's been having a rough time he

put a video up actually I wonder if we

can put a link to his video here where

he's talking about he he was just

getting rid of some crap cars like I

know about getting rid of crap cars and

he's losing about eight grand on getting

rid of

them uh which is a Savage feeling but

sometimes you have to do it because

otherwise the money's yeah we'll get

into that in the podcast look out for

think uh I honestly don't know lots

going on next week probably need to get

some good rest in but in fact I'm going

to be driving tomorrow with the Navara

and the horse box somewhere an hour and

a half away to collect a cult it's horse

with its knackers still intact for

Sophie so that we she can bring it's a

cheap unbroken horse that she thinks she

can break and then she'll whip its

knackers off poor thing and yeah I mean

one of the horses like literally threw

her through the arena the other day

smashed it all open we to have it

repaired you understand why I'm stressed

whatever and I think I probably paid for

sat there and then people like me have

crashing and prices of EVS have crashed

so the the value was coming down and

down and down I was like just get rid of

it just sell it get it gone before the

value drops even more and he has sold it

for probably about 1,500 quid less than

we originally advertised it for but it's

good that it's gone that's that there's

still some profit in it so that's good

so that is best car bought and best car
