if you have ADHD your brain has secret
superpowers you likely aren't aware of
and they are just waiting to be unlocked
you may be using them unintentionally
every day every now and then you find
yourself completely hyperfocused for
hours on end or incredibly consistent
for a period of time and you don't know
why well what if I told you that this
was because you were utilizing one of
your ADHD superpowers and the crazy part
is that if you are aware of your ADHD
superpowers you can learn to access them
almost on demand and leverage them to
build an insanely successful and
fulfilled life there's a reason why so
many hyper successful people refer to
ADHD as their secret superpower and
label it as a huge reason for their
success and in this video I will walk
you through the five most gamechanging
adhc superpowers and show you exactly
how to access them almost on demand
trust me the last one will change your
life so make sure to watch till the very
end let's Dive Right In welcome back to
ADHD Vision where we help you thrive
instead of just survive so if you have
ADHD why don't you consider subscribing
superpower number one we adhders have
what's called a spiky profile meaning
while we can be really bad at things
like remembering to water our plants we
can also be insanely good at things but
probably one of the worst things is that
one of our superpowers often gets called
a weakness because contrary to Common
belief we do not actually have a deficit
in attention but an abundance of
attention we are able to take in way
more external information information at
once which yes makes us more
distractable but also gives your brain
the ability to make lightning fast
connections all of a sudden a super
complex issue deconstructs itself in
front of you in seconds this is because
your focus and attention is more broad
rather than narrow you usually think
conceptually in big picture and so
through calculated estimations and big
picture connections you are able to
subconsciously shortcut what other
people usually have to think through for
a long time leading you to get to these
aha moments that you usually can't
explain but just know are right we often
perceive connections that are not
appreciated by others and often take the
bird's eye view of things this is why
when you're around people for example
you usually know who's bullshitting and
who's being real almost instantly
without needing to ask any further
questions the way to access the
superpower is to just put yourself in
environments that you're interested in
where your brain has previous knowledge
and you will be very successful some
call it having a six sense others call
it ADHD intuition let's move on to
superpower number two if you have ADHD
you're often a lot more open to
challenging your comfort zone because
the thrill of doing something where you
don't know the outcome like approaching
strangers moving to a third world
country or starting a business provides
your brain with the chemicals and
Novelty it needs to get motivated and
focused to do these things which often
makes Outsiders wonder how you can not
only be so Fearless in the face of
uncertainty but also th dve in it you
know what I'm talking about once you
engage in that new thing you have all
the energy in the world for it it's like
you're a new person and while it's
important to still make calculated
decisions starting new things without
overthinking what could happen if you
fail is for sure better than being stuck
and not doing anything at all because it
leads to learning which leads to growth
you learn a lot more about life and the
opportunities it presents if you take
risks you learn more about yourself
become more open and more resilient to
Life's challenges Forbes estimates that
people with ADHD are five times more
likely to start a business and it's easy
to see why some call it stimulation
seeking others call it ADHD risk-taking
moving on to superpower number three if
you have ADHD instead of following a
straight path or following a set of
instructions for the one tested and
tried solution your brain is really good
at coming up with lots of new original
solutions to problems very spontaneously
and seemingly in an instant I remember
whenever I had to solve math problems
back in school I never followed the
steps we learned because I couldn't
remember them but still often managed to
arrive at the right answer because my
brain ended up creating its own way of
solving the problem which was crazy my
brain basically created a new way of
solving a math problem out of thin air
no wonder Albert Einstein was suspected
to have ADHD and no I'm not comparing
myself to Albert Einstein but instead of
asking why we adhders often like to ask
what if which translates into this
ability to fearlessly treat barriers as
design opportunities and to shoot for
the stars instead of following the crowd
and very often landing on the moon with
a crazy unconventional idea don't
believe me just ask fellow ADHD Richard
Branson he's literally planning on going
into outer space with his company Virgin
Galactic but how can you yes you
watching this video trigger the
superpower well you often get your best
ideas whenever your mind is passively
occupied with something else like a half
interesting conversation or when you
take a shower for example because this
is when your ADHD mind often
subconsciously wanders from one thing to
the next looking for the next
stimulating idea leading you to enter
this free flowing state of innovation
that others have a really hard time
getting into this superpower is also why
you may have gotten yourself reputation
of being that Daydreamer who wants to
start a new business every few days and
since your best ideas usually go against
what people currently think possible
it's incredibly important for you to
find an environment that rewards and can
recognize the power of your
unconventional approaches so you can
Thrive some call it out of the- boox
thinking others call it ADHD creativity
moving on to superpower number four this
one is insane and at the same time just
makes so much sense if you have ADHD
your brain can paradoxically become very
calm in high pressure environments
because things that would make others
nervous or anxious actually give your
brain the chemicals it needs to become
focused and engaged giving you the
reputation of being a great problem
Problem Solver during high stake chaotic
emergencies when others would struggle a
recent study found that the ADHD brain
tends to produce more theta waves than
the average brain which indicates that
we can reach a deep state of relaxation
in these circumstances over the years I
even realized that my brain purposely
creates crisis so it can Thrive for
example it doesn't like preparing for
things because in certain settings it
performs better when I don't I realized
that when the pressure is high and the
stakes are intense my ADHD brain turns
into a Ferrari you need to present in
front of the class haven't prepared but
all of a sudden have the perfect answers
ready you have a meeting with a friend
but can't find the motivation to get out
of the bed until like 5 minutes before
you have to leave where your brain fog
all of a sudden vanishes and your body
jolts into action our brain is doing
this on purpose because it needs
feelings of emergency or urgency to fire
into gear it needs consequences and once
it has them we're incredible at creating
energy and improvising on the spot this
is also why commonly prescribed
medications for ADHD work precisely by
stimulating what would be a fight ORF
flight response in a neurotypical person
in US adhders these neurotransmitters
like dopamine or neur nephrine that are
fired from the medication have precisely
the opposite effect by helping us calm
down and focus this is also why a lot of
emergency responders are believed to
have ADHD but how can you activate the
superpower well by trusting it I barely
prepare for important work meetings
anymore because I know that I'm faster
than normal when I need to think on the
spot I know my brain needs the urgency
and may even perform better with it now
this doesn't mean you should never again
prepare for anything be careful to
trigger your All or Nothing mindset here
but maybe analyze the past and see where
and when you've been especially fast and
then choose to engage in these domains
more we are motivated by interest so
chances are that these areas will have
to be interesting for you and if you've
found what they are some may say You're
really quick on your feet While others
will call it ADHD crisis management
let's move on to the last and probably
most important ADHD superpower if you
have ADHD you tend to have these phases
where you completely lose yourself in a
new interesting topic or Thing Once
you're down your rabbit hole you may
have experienced this phenomenon where
you stop noticing time passing entirely
and enter this Flow State where
seemingly nothing can distract you this
happens because since your brain has AB
normally low levels of dopamine it can
be really difficult for it to shift
gears you can therefore stay hyper
fixated and focused on a task for hours
especially if you're interested in it if
we're doing something we enjoy or find
psychologically rewarding we will also
persist in this behavior for a lot
longer when others would have normally
moved on to other things you may have
noticed it when you play a game you like
or when a deadline for a task or project
you've been putting off for months is
approaching all of a sudden it's like a
switch flips in your brain to turn you
into a productivity machine for hours on
end until the task is complete this is
when we may have asked ourselves why
couldn't I just have completed that 6
weeks ago I wouldn't have had to stress
about it for all those weeks and could
have actually enjoyed myself and so even
though some call it a contradiction
because everyone just always thinks we
can't focus others know it to be ADHD
hyperfocus but what most people don't
know is that you can use something
called curated external triggers to
access this hyperfocus almost on the and
and use it for whatever task you want no
matter if you are interested in it or
not if you want to know how this works
I've recorded a 100% free video showing
you exactly how you can do this for
yourself just click the link in the
video description to watch the training
now using this I've been able to
complete any task without
procrastinating or executive dysfunction
consistently it's easily doable from
home and doesn't require any discipline
or willpower looking back it's been a
huge part of me actually making prod
ress in life and achieving my goals
after years of struggle and zero
progress thank you for watching if you
want to learn how to access hyperfocus
almost on demand make sure to check out
the free training video in the
description stay inspired and see you
very soon
