considering this their first AI phone

jam-packed with a ton of awesome new

really useful AI features so let's check

it out here it is the Reno 12 Pro 5G I

love this metallic kind of reflection

design with these nice camera bumps the

s24 ultra also looks a awesome I love

that triple camera bump design with the

extra two they both look amazing but

let's jump into the AI features right

away now the first AI feature we're

going to compare is the AI eraser so

let's see how it works on the ople let's

go to edit right here I took a picture

of Max and right here we're going to

turn on AI eraser now they have a couple

of different ways you can do this first

off they have Smart lasso so let's just

do a quick lasso just like that and as

you can see oh look at that it's

actually recognizing a person there oh

that was

cool and just like that it just erased

him even though you usually wouldn't do

this for like a photo of just one person

like this it still did a really really

good job I took another one right here

let's try the paint over feature so so

let's actually just get rid of this

entire window and pretend it's not even

there just like that it's removing

oh look at that jeez that is actually

really really good take a look at this

and finally we have this awesome new

mode which removes people it's going to

detect people and look at that it knew

that Max was in the background it

detected him outlined him now I'm going

to hit remove

all and just like that Max is getting

erased and he is gone wow that is so

cool that it literally just scans it for

you makes it so easy you don't have to

sit there and basically cut out a person

or with your finger whatever it just

scans it and does it we have object

eraser right here so let's see we're

going to draw around Max just like we

did before and it should detect him

definitely not as good and you guys just

saw it for yourself it looks like the

Oppo did a much better job especially

with a really easy scanning feature and

next up we have an exclusive for Oppo

which is their AI clear face feature

when you take group photos which it

actually did text when you have three

faces and turns on group mode so as you

can see you have this button right here

at the top which is the group photo

button so you click on that and it

actually scans as you can see right here

and turns on AI clearface so what I'm

going to do is zoom in on Ben right here

on both phones and you can see that with

clear face on his face looks a little

bit blurry but when you tap it on you

can see that it uses AI to make the

image look more sharp and wow it

actually looks really nice super sharp

detail and the really cool thing about

this feature is that instead of just

sharpening everything and making it look

oversharpened it detects the faces and

sharpens up the faces which is really

cool and that's going to give you a

better photo overall now on top of that

Oppo also has their AI best face feature

which is something that you can find on

the Google pixel but what it does is

that it basically switches out your face

for a different version of that picture

like let's say somebody blinked on

accident it's going to give everybody

their best face which is really cool now

another feature that the Oppo now has is

their AI Studio which can transform

photos and generate portraits and it's

completely free so here I'm going to

the new rounded design and how it feels

in my hand because they have this new

Quad micro curve design really really

smooth all the way around front and back

it feels amazing and this oppa Reno 12

Pro a iPhone also has this really cool

Splash touch feature where you can still

use your phone when it gets wet the s24

ultra also does a pretty good job with

this as well but the cool thing is that

Oppo is using a really strong new

engineered all round armor design with a

high strength alloy frame that feels

really nice it's built so well another

benefit with this Oppo is that it's now

using Corning Flagship High Performance

Glass just like you have on the s24

ultra which is awesome and in terms of

the cameras the ones on the s24 ultra

are amazing it has a four camera system

which is expected for such a nice

flagship phone keep in mind about

€450 for this compared to around 500 but

a cool feature is that this Oppo Reno 12

Pro 5G now gets a really nice 2x

portrait mode that looks very very nice

while the s24 ultra actually doesn't

have that it just skipped straight to 3x

in terms of performance the s24 ultra is

very fast with the Snapdragon 8 gen3 but

this new Oppo now has the dimensity

mediatech

7300 which is really really good for

energy efficiency because it's also

built on a 4 nanm process so you're

going to get really good battery life

with this Oppo as well this phone also

has their new AI link boost feature

which is a Next Generation proprietary

communication technology developed by

Oppo with a 360° surround antenna

solution consisting of nine individual

antennas which is going to basically

boost signal reception and optimize your

network using a system level AI model

they also have their be link feature

which is a self-developed communication

protocol which improves Bluetooth Uplink

capability by 300% enabling device to

device voice calls over Bluetooth at a

distance of up to 200 MERS in a

completely disconnected environment

which is just crazy being able to

communicate with people with no service

so let's say you went on a hike with

some friends and you lost one of them

you have no connection they have no

connection you have to find them turn on

Beacon link and you can use it like

pretty much a radio with no connection

which is really unique so with all of

that said both of these are very capable

phones the s24 ultra is very awesome it

has a lot of AI features but the Oppo

has most of them and it has a couple of

exclusives that the Samsung doesn't have

the samsum of course has its own

exclusive features in some areas like

circal search instant translation

interpretation and image editing tools

such as being able to resize and move

objects around the key Point here is

that Oppo has some awesome new AI

features and for a great price pretty

much a third of the cost so honestly I'm

pretty impressed by all of the AI

features especially that really cool

scanning feature for removing people

from the background as well as

generating AI writing and emails within

the OS itself which is really cool so
