Sorry. Hi.
My name is.
Vivadi. Some people know me as Radio Black.
Some people doesn't know about me, of course,
but today I'm here in my favourite place, Bangkok, Thailand.
So I want to stand this beautiful stage with my beautiful Thai name, Revathi.
Thank you.
For some people who doesn't know about me, I recommend you to search my name.
Rey Lee-lo black on internet.
You may find some interesting information about me.
According to the internet, they say that my height is 175 , Clearly not.
I am 152
and they told me that I lost my parents because of Japanese yakuza,
and I learned kung fu for the revenge. That sounds like a cool action movie.
Yes, but
that is not my life story. That is the internet. Want you to believe.
That is the story that internet wants you to believe.
An adult film actress with crazy life story. That's not my story.
Some people must be now wondering,
why is this adult film actress from Japan in Thailand doing here? For this.
Ted x Bangkok. I know that there are some several topics for this Ted x Bangkok,
but the main topic is environment. See the unheard here? The unseen. Yes.
Thinking about the environment. Saving our nature.
Yes, it's very important, But think about it. We human is environment.
We belong to nature. Sometimes we take other things too seriously before we take
care of ourselves, our heart.
So today, let's hear our ignored voices of our heart. Why am I saying this?
Because every single day, from young to old, from all over the world,
asking me how can I be so confident?
I lost my confidence because people talk shit about me on the internet.
because of the internet. Some people have to face those struggles in daily basis.
That's why I'm here to give you guys some tips.
Yes, because of my profession as adult film actress, I get a lot of negativities.
Bad comments, rude emails, judgemental opinion. Yes.
Some people might think that I can ignore. I can ignore this.
But let me tell you something.
The power of the world is so powerful that once you see it, once you hear it,
you cannot forget. You cannot ignore. I cannot ignore. It's impossible.
It's stuck in your head. Can you imagine getting messages saying, oh,
you're ugly. You're fat. You're not beautiful.
Your existence means anything, doesn't mean anything. I don't know this person.
No, I don't know. But seeing people saying that I am meaningless,
it's so hurtful. Then how do I deal with it? How do I deal with it?
Here is my secret. Don't see. Don't listen . Yes, it's against our theme.
See it unheard here. And yes, I know, I remember, but.
But in this world there are some things which doesn't have to be seen or heard.
I have to admit, it gets me sometime. It eats me from inside.
I cried, I got depressed until I cannot move, move out from bed.
I couldn't eat at some point. My weight was 3635 kilo.
Sometimes I couldn't take shower for, like a week. Seven days. No shower.
It was tough. I had no energy to do basic stuff. I had no energy to feel.
I want to live.
But one day I was scrolling down my phone in my bed, no energy, and realized.
I am the one who is touching the phone. Who is touching those negativities.
Yes, I was the one who was making myself sad, miserable, unconfident.
The moment I realized I promised one thing to myself
to try keep making myself happy every single day
and stop expecting others to make me happy.
Is it easy? No, of course not. It's not. But now I know that one person.
This person is trying to make me happy every day.
And that gives me the confidence in what I have done,
what I have overcome and what I have became today as rewarding.
Some people sees me in one dimension as adult film actress. Very little black.
Yes that's true. But
outside of the lenses, I am.
Yes, Raven, a girl with law and politics degree, a company owner,
a professional gamer, a world traveler, food blogger.
And today, thanks to everybody. I became a speaker of TEDx Bangkok.
Thank you so much.
But most importantly, there is one additional statement which is added to my
light. Can you guess what it is? Can you guess? Don't say.
I am now a beginner of Muay Thai fighter.
Yes, I used to be a big gym lover. I was going to gym every single day.
I was lifting weights. I was doing squats. But
how hard I tried, how good I was in shape.
Every single day I get messages saying you're ugly, you're fat.
You don't have to go to gym because you're ugly anyway.
And then eventually I got overwhelmed and then stopped going to the gym.
But the day I first time trained Muay Thai , I felt like a fighter.
Of course it was day one. It was not like this. It was.
But still every single movement gave me the power,
the feeling that I'm strong and that I can fight with anything.
Fight against the world. Now I do exercise
for myself. I was not living life for myself,
but now I do Muay Thai to feel good, to feel strong, to pick up better myself
as a fighter of life. Now the value other people put me doesn't matter to me
anymore because I know that this person can make me happy.
This person is a fighter. This person can fight with anything.
Any people. Everyone can think anything about me
because not everyone can meet me and know. Get to know me.
Get to know my true personality. Get to know my true life story.
Get to know my real identity. But I know that
this person can make me happy. And then I'm a fighter for life.
I'm a strong, beautiful fighter for life, and that matters to me now. So
here's a question. Who are you?
What is your identity that you want people to know?
What is your true life story that you want this world to know about you.
Your power inside is waiting to be unleashed.
So today, let's hear your story. Let's hear your life story.
It was nice meeting you. My name is Rezvani Koepka.
Whoa!
Whoa whoa whoa.
Whoa, whoa.
