I'm not able to leave tube because I'm scared.

Hello and welcome to Phuket!
We are finally on the beachy side
on the southern side of Thailand and
I'm quite excited for this part as well
actually I'm excited for the whole country
it's going to be a long 14 days trip.
and we reached here around 8.30-9am
from Bangkok to Phuket by bus.
and it was sunny in the morning but
now it has poured so much
and right now it's drizzling
but it poured like heavily.
And now since it is drizzling so we are heading towards
the touristy place
uh first would be The Big Buddha
I'm quite excited to look at that
because it's a big statue.
And we have rented a scooty here for 200 baht
and it is for 24 hours
meaning that if I have rented today, I have to return tomorrow.
so let's get started.
[Music]
the architecture of the temple is so beautiful
even Bangkok one was beautiful
but uh this is like amazing
and uh also there is no entry fees here
but to enter inside the temple you have to wear appropriate clothes
like you cannot wear shorts or you should be properly covered
so I'm wearing a dress right now so I'm not going inside
and this one is open, Bangkok one was closed.
And from outside what I can see is there are small Buddha statues inside.
that is what I can see and here I don't know why
they were bursting crackers and yeah it is
different to see such things
I mean we see Buddha in India
and they are in monasteries majorly and
here it is different and they are praying in front of Buddha only.
And one more thing, elephant is their national animal
and I think they pray also to the elephant
it is amazing.
[Music]
We finally going to The Big Buddha and
it is all green the view is amazing and it seems like
it is on a mountain, so we are going upwards.
[Music]
we are finally here and
while coming up the view was beautiful you
and you even get to see the beach
[Music]
Within 5 minutes the whole weather changed
it is all cloudy if you can see behind me
the other side also where there is sea
it is all cloudy now
but here there is 7 minutes of meditation
so I'm going to do that now.
[Music]
Cape Phrom Thep
I hope I'm pronouncing it right
is the beach for Sunset
but today since it was raining, there was no sunset
but we still came here
and it is beautiful
let me show you.
[Music]
Good morning from another beautiful day
we are here at a place
where we will board our boat
to go to few Islands nearby to Phuket
in this package we took
there are few islands which I will disclose when we are on the tour.
and uh pickup, drop, breakfast, lunch, everything was included
and we got this package in like 1700 baht each
so I'm quite excited to do this island hopping tour
and yesterday was really tiring so I was not able to close it
but we went to a night market
which was outside a mall
so I would not recommend going there
it was called G Lard Market.
[Music]
we are finally going to the boat.
[Music]
So we are at Maiton Island
and we have stopped here for swimming and snorkelling
and since I don't know how to swim so
they said just get comfortable with the life jacket first
and if you are then comfortable
then we will give you the snorkelling kit
so that you can do it in another.
[Music]
[I'm so scared.]
[how to get into the water?]
[I can't do this. I will hold on to the boat.]
[still here]
[I'm trying to be calm while leaving the boat.]
a few moments later
I'm not able to leave this tube because I'm scared.
[Music]
I'm still taking support of this tube/ring.
I'm not able to do it without support.
and we are at Pi Leh Lagoon
and the highlight of this place is those Mountains
almost sticking together.
And we are hoping to get our turn in kayaking
so we are waiting for that as well.
But I'm really enjoying in water although I'm scared too.
[Music]
finally...
But I'm keeping the tube/ring near me
so I lean on it if needed.
The water is flat here
at the other island it was high tides.
it was very scary.
here it is flat so it's fine.
[so happy to be comfortable in water]
finally kayaking...
where to go ?
[Music]
hi I'm finally able to do this
I am so glad and inside it is so beautiful
it's so clear, so green.
I mean 🤌🏼
In Zindagi na milegi dobara they said na
it is like meditation to be underwater
it is true.
[Music]
that's the beach
[Music]
oh my God we are at the beach right now
and it is so beautiful
so clean so green.
This is lovely.
So that was the backside of the Maya Bay
where they dropped us and then we walked up till here
drawback of booking a tour is that
you don't get time to enjoy things properly
but the snorkelling was so fun
like I did it for the first time in my life
and it was like I really want to explore more of
the sea life the marine life.
it is 👌🏼
it was very nice actually.
So, right now we'll go and have fun at Maya Beach
we have like 5 10 minutes only and then we will head back
for lunch at another Island.
[Music]
so we are at the Monkey Beach and I'm able to see only 1 monkey
I don't know where are others.
Here we cannot get down because of high tides
and it is going to rain
so we are heading to the next Island
which is Phi Phi Don and
we are going to get down there and go and have our lunch.
I'm very hungry.
[Music]
Look at behind me it is so beautiful.
Here, there is nothing much to see
a lot of restaurants are there and I think 4-5 resorts are there
a lot of icecream shops and...
one small Mini Mart.
That is it.
And everyday a lot of boats come here
and I think there is only 1 restaurant for everyone to have buffet lunch
like a package deal.
And nothing else.
[music]
and since this Koh Phi Phi island is made for tourists only
so everything closes by uh....
so these boats will leave and everything will close
because we can already see everything closing
restaurants got closed,
these stalls are also closed and are leaving for home
so 3:30-4:00pm is like going home time.
[Music]
It started raining as you can see on my specs.
And now we are heading to our last and final destination
and I yeah I don't remember the island name
so let's go inside the boat now.
[Music]
so the weather got really bad
and the sea got very wild
and speedboat ride to next Island was quite painful initially
but then it turned into an adventure ride
[passengers on the boat making the event memorable]
scary but fun
Seems like we have come to adventure island (Amusement Park)
[passengers on the boat making the event memorable]
so we are at Khai Nai Island after 1 hour of adventurous ride
in the boat, it was raining and tides were really high
and the ride was full of jerks,
and we are all wet because the water was coming inside.
This is a very small island, there are 2-3 bars here
and a lot of beach chairs are there.
and according to the google map
there are only 5-6 building structures here
so it is that small.
Otherwise it is beautiful
and it is still rainy clouds
and it is drizzling a little
and the tides are actually really high
while parking the boat, it was becoming problematic
and right now also it is moving so badly, not getting stable.
so that is that.
[Music]
I'm at the other side of the island and it is so clean
and I mean....
everything is misty now but
if I was able to see the view, it would have been so beautiful.
[Music]
so we've completed our island hopping tour
and now we are heading home in this minivan
which will drop us.
And it was a very well curated package I would say
The team which was leading the tour was too good.
I would give the details in the description below
Now, let's see what we do as the night is still young
We might go to the night market
Here, night markets are countless
It is like you can miss it but you feel FOMO
that why to miss it, something might be good in this one.
So it's kind of that.
Look at my seashells
collected at Khao Nai, I don't remember uh... Khai Nai.. yes.
[music]
we are finally trying pad thai noodles in South Thailand
let's see if they are similar to north or not
or if they are similar to India or not.
The taste is different from north
they were a little bland and this is sweet and spicy
which is actually equivalent to what we have in India
Now I'm trying this Tom Yum fried rice
which is famous for this shop at least
let's try it.
okayish for my taste...not that yum. It is little sweet.
[Music]
So, we went to Indy night market
and when we went there it was almost closed
because it was raining today and it usually gets closed by 10 p.m.
so it was almost going to be 10 p.m.
but we still got the vibe of the market
there was live music,
there was food which was non-thai
it had spaghetti, pancakes and stuff like that
and the cloth/fashion shops were almost closed,
sorry they were completely closed.
And apart from that we are now walking back to our hostel
and we are living in Old Town
so it is very lit up place
and it is a touristy place
like everything is very commercial.
one thing I found that there are no dogs here on the streets
which is unusual.
But apart from that, it is a small town,
quite lit up here because ofcourse its touristy
and it is very happening like
everybody is smoking up, drinking
and there is live music at every bar like
we were walking through the old town and
every bar had soft music / live music getting played
[Music]
so that's about it from Phuket
