Transcripts
hey guys in this video I'm going to show
you some work from home sites where
basically you get paid very good money
like full-time income as usual to only
work four days a week and have a full
3-day weekend on a weekly basis so one
place where you can do this is a company
called toggle toggle is actually known
for being a Time tracking and
productivity productivity Tool company
that basically builds these uh types of
software that help you improve your
productivity so they actually have these
jobs where you get to work fully
remotely from home they've been doing
that since 2014 you also have a lot of
freedom as well they have something
where they have this policy that allows
you to essentially get paid for your
production and not by the hour so what
you do here you basically have this blog
post that actually proves that it was
actually last updated on August 8th 2024
so very recently that you can actually
have pretty much whatever hours you want
as long as you get your work done the
way they need you to get it done so they
tell you right here they have this thing
called raft which is basically something
that is their policy for how they manage
um their employees time but basically
they tell you that you're free to run
errands on a Monday work a 4-day work
week wrap up undone work on a Sunday
night if this is what helps you get
results we're not going to stand in the
way so that's one really nice thing
about toggle is you can work either four
days a week or or you can you can manage
your time where you work nights you can
work mornings you can work you can sleep
in and work after that if you want
there's a lot of flexibility here and
they also hire worldwide so you have
flexible pay time off company and team
meetups paid parental Leave paid
sabatical a laptop of your choices
included when you basically get hired
here home office setup budget co-working
and internet allowance annual
professional development budget annual
health and well-being budget and regular
pay reviews
so when you get a job here if you click
on one of these and you look at the
application page they usually tell you
upfront how much they pay you now
sometimes the pay doesn't really like
blow your mind or anything it's not like
every job here is six figures but they
usually pay pretty competitively while
also having some of the best benefits
that I've seen out of the thousands of
companies that I've covered so if you
look at the benefits here that's where
they really stand out versus other
companies they have the freedom to
choose when and how how much you work
they only measure results and I wanted
to actually verify that that meant you
could work one less day a week and they
had that literally on their blog post on
their official site like I just showed
you uh 24 days of paytime off a year
plus your local holidays inperson
meetups for team building four to six
weeks paid sabatical laptop budget up to
€2500 and it renews every 3 years €2,000
budget to set up your home office in an
additional 300 every year after 3 years
of tenure $3,000 per year for co-working
space membership and or Internet service
at home a €4,000 per year contribution
to use for training workshops and
conferences €2,000 per year contribution
for any equipment or services to improve
and or maintain your physical and mental
health and also support for buying tools
you need for doing your best work like
eyeglasses or anything else as far as a
company that really takes good care of
you lets you work four day work weeks or
make whatever schedule you want toggle a
great one that you might want to
consider uh they have a 4.6 out of five
star rating literally 99% of people
recommend working here to a friend it's
really hard to beat that it's almost a
perfect score if you look at their
benefits here for toggle they also have
so far a five out of five star rating
but they don't have a lot of ratings yet
and then the interview process 3.2 out
of 5 difficulty and the vast majority of
people had a positive experience
interviewing here next you have a
company called Blackthorn which is an
event management software company they
are another website where basically you
can have 4-day work weeks so if you go
to their jobs here you can just click on
one of their jobs let's say you click on
the QA engineer for instance they'll
tell you your pay right up front what
the base pay is going to be what you'll
do what they're looking for and then
what they offer so this is where you get
to see all the interesting information
about the benefits here so you have an
incredible team a deep feeling of
satisfaction fully remote Global team
working from home so you get to apply
from almost anywhere in the world stock
options 4day work week yes they actually
confirm that they have a 4day work week
in the job description $400 office dipen
maternity and paternity leave student
loan debt assistance pledge 1% time off
during the year for helping nonprofits
health insurance contribution if you're
in the US and children's 529 college
fund assistance if in the US as well so
really good options here they're very
straightforward about your pay as well
and it's it's a company you definitely
want to look into if you're looking to
find a remote job now as far as what's
like to work here they have a for .4 out
of five star rating and 83% recommend
working here to a friend for their
benefits Blackthorne has a five out of
five star rating out of eight ratings
which is obviously perfect so far and
then the interview experience is a 2.8
out of five difficulty rating which is
not bad at all they do have a pretty
even split if you were to combine
positive and neutral versus negative um
a lot of times I would recommend that
you look at how many like what
percentage of them are negative
versus comparing positive and neutral
separately so uh most companies I would
say are pretty evenly split between um
negative and the rest so they're
actually I would say not that far off
from an average company in terms of
interview experiences next you have a
company called Kickstarter which is one
of the biggest sites in the world for
basically crowdfunding different
projects so uh with Kickstarter they
actually have the option for 4-day work
weeks as well if you look at their
benefits and perks here um you have
continuous learning you have different
things for the community of course
social contribution you have stiens for
like remote work and wellness a fully
virtual work environment here so all
full-time employees can live and work
anywhere they are registered as an
employer see below for a list of current
locations they anticipate this list will
continue to expand benefits also include
basically um 3% Safe Harbor 401k
contribution Equity worldclass
HealthCare coverage 16 annual paid
vacation days 25 annual paid volunteer
hours for full-time employees so they
tell you right here they're currently
able to support Poes based in the
following us locations um also UK and
Canada now they don't seem to have any
current openings right now which is
actually kind of surprising but
Kickstarter if you're looking for a job
this is one that's known for having 4day
work weeks at times for their position
so when they have a position available
they should mention that as part of the
benefits here for when they actually
have jobs available as far as WS like to
work at Kickstarter they have a 3.7 out
of five star rating and uh they have 75%
of people recommend working here to a
friend benefit wise they have a 4.6 out
of festar rating which is obviously very
good they also have some people
mentioned that they can be flexible with
their time and again there are supposed
to be some 4day work week uh options
here interview wise they have 32 people
who have left feedback on the interview
process here they have a 2.7 out of five
difficulty rating which isn't too bad
and then a pretty even split between
positive and neutral versus negative
next we have a company called buffer
buffer is actually a place where you can
um basically put all your social media
accounts in one place and manage them
automate things post on different
accounts and basically make everything
much easier for your social media
marketing campaigns so when you go on
their site here if you look at their
benefits they have some really nice
benefits and perks so you have
competitive salaries work remotely they
do hire worldwide as well 4-day work
weeks they tell you right here on their
benefits page that their schedule is
four work days with a flexible meeting
free fifth day for overflow task or
personal time as you see fits so if you
are caught up basically you can take
that as personal time health insurance
you have home office setup and $1,000 to
set it up uh plus a laptop growth
mindset fund you have minimum vacation
of at least 3 weeks per year savings
plan with 3% company match you have
profit sharing family leave Family
Support fund working smarter stip in
unlimited free books they also give you
a free Kindle as well and then sabatical
you take a six- week break fully paid
every five years with buffer so I mean
if you click on one of these it'll
pretty much say the same thing for
benefits although they will also tell
you about how much you can earn in terms
of pay they usually tell you right up
front how much you can expect in like a
range like this one for instance pays up
to 191,000 a year as far as Woods like
to work at buffer they have a 3.9 out of
five star rating and uh 75% of people
actually recommend working here to a
friend benefit wise buffer has a 4.5 out
of five star rating out of six ratings
which is obviously very good and then
the interview process here is a 3.1 out
of five difficulty rating and a pretty
even split between positive and negative
so fairly average ratings for their
interview process here another company
you might consider checking out is ttin
up.com this is a place that that does
hire worldwide and they're a company
that specializes in creating finely
crafted websites and tools for Content
creators so they have an example here of
a job that will tell you a lot of
different details about what they offer
so you get to work remotely from
anywhere around the world for the most
part um when you find a job here and
then they'll have their benefits towards
the bottom of the page so uh usually
they'll tell you like how much they pay
like for instance this one pays 70 to
130,000 a year a benefit here are
multiple paytime off programs including
PTO parental leave bement and all of
that stuff they also have a winter uh
company break from Christmas Eve to New
Year's Health dental and life insurance
programs you have retirement
contribution programs flexible and
Alternate schedule programs like a 4day
work week configuration of Monday
through Thursday so that is an option
there they tell you that right on the
job page uh $1,000 acur annually and
professional development you have global
company Summits end ofe all hands bonus
program program and um directors in your
department that will support your career
growth as well so a company that takes
very good care of you in terms of uh the
types of jobs you can find here most of
these are work from home worldwide but a
lot of them are going to be engineering
related as you can see with a few
exceptions as far as Woods like to work
at 10up they have a 3.9 out of five star
rating 74% recommend working here to a
friend benefit wise they have a 3.9 out
of five star rating out of 22 ratings
and interview wise they have a 2.9 out
of five difficulty rating which is
standard and then uh most people had a
very positive experience interviewing
here we also have a company called close
which is an easy to use CRM and close is
another place where you can find 4-day
work weeks here um they also hire um
remotely for almost every job here so
you see they do have some different
areas that they're hiring in right now
um for instance some of their benefits
that they have are paid time off and
family leave so you have like five weeks
of pay time off that increase with
longevity you have mental dental and
vision coverage where they pay 99% of
all premiums 401K with 6% match that's
still I think the highest that I've ever
seen after your first year of employment
at close you are eligible for a bonus
program you have a paid four-week
sabatical they appreciate and reward all
team members with their longevity um and
every 5 years you can pay you can have a
4-we sabatical and flexible working
hours as well they also have the
possible 4-day work weeks mentioned
right there in this benefit here so they
have really nice benefits that take
really good care of you here if you were
to click on one of their jobs um well if
they're still hiring for it uh it'll
tell you more about it but if you click
on one of these they'll tell you
obviously the details of what it's like
and everything but for the most part
they don't really have a lot of things
extra except they do say if you do
choose to take a 4day work week you are
doing 80% pay so basically you're not
going to get paid exactly the same but
if the if the pay is starting at a
really high number then you might be
willing to take that because sometimes
money isn't everything as far as woulds
like to work at close they have a 4.8
out of five star rating and 91% actually
recommend working here to a friend uh
benefit wise at close they have 30
people who have left reviews uh they
have an average that takes 13 ratings
and has a five out of five star rating
so far interview wise they have 88
people or so that have left feedback
three out of five difficulty is standard
pretty standard experience interviewing
here as well we also have a company
called bolt which is at bolt.com they're
a company that will help you boost
e-commerce revenue and they actually had
an article here about how they embraced
the 4day work week uh permanently so
they talk about this with the CEO of
Bolt as you can see here 4day work week
Bolt CEO on the new policy so you can
watch the interview there and they talk
a little bit about the details of why
they thought it was a successful
experiment so they stuck with it so at
bolt you should be able to have a 4-day
work week option here so if you go to
their jobs page you'll find the perks of
the job here at the top you have
flexible working hours and limited paid
time off 100% paid company uh coverage
of medical dental Envision Insurance
remote first location policy to live
where you want 401k program to help you
invest in your future warning a
development stip in to grow your skills
paid parental weave 11 paid company
holidays per year five additional
floating holidays and your birthday off
as well so you have a decent amount of
jobs available right now and if you were
to click on one you'll see a little bit
about the job of course just as you
usually would and uh not really any
extra details on the benefits here but
um if you go to their careers page
they'll pretty much tell you everything
you need to know and again they do have
a an article here on cnbc.com about how
they embraced the 4day work week
schedule as far as what it's like to
work here they've a 3.4 out of five star
rating and 48% would recommend working
here to a friend as far as benefits go
at bolt they have uh a decent amount of
feedback I mean all the way around
really but for benefits they've had
about 75 people or so uh we have a
review 4.8 out of five stars they also
have the bullet points for the most um
obvious things that they offer here so
very good benefit reviews here uh
interview wise they have a three out of
five difficulty rating 52% positive
compared to 38% negative is pretty good
next we have a company called wildbit
which is at wildbit decom so they're
actually a software company but
apparently there has been an acquisition
so we're not sure exactly what the
future looks like here you might read
through uh some of their updates there
but if you do in fact ever get a chance
to work at Wild bit in the future they
are a company that usually has a few
dozen people working for them they
usually hire worldwide in many different
countries and they're known for offering
uh 4 day work weeks with 32 hours
involved so essentially you're taking
one extra day off every week and having
a 3-day weekend while only working 32
hours a week you also have flexible
hours 20 paid days off or you have
profit sharing quarterly paid family
leave home office allowance professional
development and book healthy habits as
well so if they are hiring in the future
obviously with the acquisition this is
probably going to change some things but
uh you might check in on wild bit in the
future they do have pretty good ratings
from the people who have actually left
reviews a five out of five star rating
so far with all of them pretty much
recommending working here to a friend um
benefit wise they have a five out of
five star rating as well they do say
again best thing 4day work week 4day
work week they all mention that here
interview wise pretty standard
difficulty but 100% positive experience
so far next we have a company that
actually allows you to work 4-day work
weeks during the summer it's not
necessarily year round but if you check
a company called 37 signals uh they
don't seem to have any job openings
right now but uh they're known for a few
different companies that they've uh
created like base camp Hey want and
stuff like that um so if you are able to
find jobs here that are available they
do usually let you have a 4-day work
week option during the summer months so
if you look at their benefits and perks
here you do also get things like health
insurance medical dental vision health
insurance for staff outside the US as
well life insurance short-term
disability retirement plan as well they
say up to 6% of your salary in matches
which is again that ties for about the
most I've seen along with the company I
mentioned earlier called close flexible
spending account paid time off as well
you do have local holidays and also uh
20 days of vacation and personal days on
top of that you do also have sabatical
um which is basically 6 weeks every 3
years which is actually more frequent
and longer periods of time than a lot of
companies will offer you paid sick time
summer hours here they go um they work
four day work weeks from May 1st through
August 31st every year so it's actually
more than typical summer months if you
went by like the school year you would
usually be somewhere around late May or
early June up to around mid August but
now with this they actually give you
about four full months of 4day work
weeks during um May 1st through August
31st every single year along with that
you also have scheduling time off uh
policies Family Leave bereavement leave
pet insurance which is kind of a new
thing that some companies are doing
employee profit sharing employee
liquidity pool you have a laptop policy
where you get a new Macbook for everyone
that gets hired here a home office setup
which is about $3,000 which is more than
a lot of companies will give you
co-working space so lots of just really
nice benefits here if you are you know
if you are lucky enough to get to work
here they do have a five out of and uh
100% of people approve of the CEO here I
assume all of these people who left a
review also recommend working here they
don't have a lot of information on their
benefits as far as reviews yet interview
wise they do have a little bit of
feedback 2.5 out of five difficulty is
pretty easy uh more negative than you
would like to see for the interview
experience but again it's a very small
sample size next you have YNAB which
basically stands for you need a budget
so this is like a finance and budgeting
service that you can use to help improve
your life and they actually have some
really nice benefits here for working
they said you they say you can live
where you want when you work here you
can even do it while traveling as long
as you have a reliable internet
connection they do have um hours that
are never going to be outrageous they do
say they've adopted the 4H hour work
week still 100% paid so you get 100% pay
with a 4-day work week so obviously
that's great as well they tell you that
right up front without you even having
to click on a job and they also have a
vacation that they take very seriously
they have a minimum vacation policy of 3
weeks per year um they say uh it doesn't
look like they seem to have a maximum
either but they say about 5 weeks of
paid vacation uh Health dental Envision
you have retirement savings as well you
have parental leave profit sharing
professional development book allowances
and things like that birthday gifts
purpose all of that stuff so if you
click on one of their jobs here uh
you'll notice that um you know they tend
to take just very good care of you um
they do say for whatever reason some of
