Transcripts
can the Behringer Euphoria UMC 22 audio
interface power set of 250 ohm
headphones we put this video together to
help you answer that question we tested
this audio interface three different
ways with the buyer dynamic dt990 Pro
250 ohm headphones to find you the
answer that you're looking for first of
all if you are looking for pricing or
spec for anything that you see in this
video we have links to everything down
in the description below where you can
find current up-to-date pricing from a
variety of online retailers to make sure
that you are getting the best price
possible so the first way that we tested
this was by listening to can music we
are listening to finished compressed
normalized Music on Apple music and
Spotify when we did that we found that
we needed the headphone output of the
Behringer UMC 22 to be at about 50
percent if we really wanted that full
immersive sound inside the headphones
turning it up to 60 to 65 percent gave
us a volume in the headphones that you
would not want to listen to for a
prolonged period of time but if you did
want to listen to detail of a song or
something like that you could achieve
that with the headphone output on the
UMC 22. now the second way that we
tested this audio interface was by
working on video editing and audio
production since you're not typically
working on normalized or finished
sources yet the levels aren't quite
brought up we found that somewhere
around 65 to 70 percent gave us a pretty
good level inside the headphones so we
could hear what we're looking for if we
did need more detail we found that we
turned it up to a hundred percent we can
get that high sensitivity that higher
amount of detail if we're working on
something that needs some final touches
the last way that we tested this was by
doing exactly what we're doing right now
live vocal monitoring on a talking head
video I find for me just over 75 percent
so somewhere around 80 percent gives me
a really comfortable listening level to
the blue Sona microphone that I'm
listening to right now so this is very
comfortable for me to listen to and I
still have about 20 of Headroom now the
other thing I do want to point out is
that it's not very hissy it's actually
better in my opinion than something like
the focusrite Scarlet 2i2 or a lot of
other audio interfaces that are actually
just a little bit more expensive so that
is a really nice thing
I would say no problem whatsoever for
most people to get 250 ohm headphones
with the Behringer Euphoria UMC 22 audio
interface this will power them and I
think you will be happy with this mix if
you are looking for pricing or specs for
anything that you've seen in this video
again we do have links down in the
description below and if you want to see
