Transcripts
hi I'm Joey and we're both here because
we want to be even if sometimes it feels
like we don't want to sometimes I would
feel that it would be easier if I was
gone sometimes I feel like nobody would
even miss me sometimes I feel that I
don't even feel at all and to some that
may not make sense but for you I feel
like you understood me and I think
you're here looking for some reasons so
let's talk about it your 10 reasons to
stay alive for the same 10 reasons that
you don't want to
live here am
I 10 I don't feel like I'd be missed but
that is because I'm there for my friends
when they need me they don't have a
chance to miss me because I'm supportive
they call I answer they fall I help them
up they don't miss me because I'm
there and that's something to be proud
of nine I made mistakes and it feels
like I can't make up for them
we all make mistakes we all forget who
we are at times and it feels like it's
easier to just give up rather than give
in but the greatest lesson that I've
ever learned is that after a mistake is
made the opportunity to grow presents
itself and if you're here right now then
you've grown for mistakes that you've
made in the past eight I feel like I
don't fit in and the truth is I I don't
I spent years trying to be outgoing to
be likable but the truth is I'm
shy I'm introverted I don't fit in in
school I don't fit in with my friend
group I don't fit in in the job that I
have but I'm here and I'm here because I
don't fit in but I also don't stand out
I almost feel invisible and my entire
life I was taught that that was a bad
thing but to me it's not I just like
being here seven my cheeks get red I was
born with rosacea and I already have red
cheeks and when I get embarrassed my
cheeks get even more red but I have to
remind myself that there are people in
the beauty industry that pay for
blushing
six when I feel embarrassed I'd rather
die it's a bold statement
but it's there I cannot handle
embarrassment in the slightest form my
cheeks get red I start sweating my mind
start racing my hands get clammy and I
just want to close my eyes and get out
but in the back of my mind I'm
fascinated by the way that I am able to
feel this and that is nothing to be
embarrassed about five it seems easier
than being here and that's exactly what
it
is but it doesn't mean it's worth it for
I feel alone but then again you're here
watching this so I can't be I'm here
filming this so you can't be we can't be
alone it's a small thought but it's a
big one three I feel like I'm a burden
to my friends but I'm always there for
them it's not about what I do for them
and what they don't do for me but that's
what I think about in my dark times but
the fact is I don't go to them when I'm
feeling down I don't message them when
I'm feeling lost I don't send a text and
then I end up feeling sorry for myself
afterwards so I am not a burden they are
there I just don't acknowledge them two
I am not who I'm supposed to be but what
am I supposed to be that's not a real
question because there's no truthful
honest answer there's no equation to
problem solve there's no internet search
that would autofill there's nothing but
who I am it is never about who I'm
supposed to be and
one I don't even know and the number one
reason why I didn't want to live even
after all of the reasons
above is I don't even know why I just
felt it and I still feel it at times but
the fact that I'm able to stop and
acknowledge and listen and feel to what
is going on inside my head is the sole
reason why I'm here why I'm still here
is the reason you are still here it's
not your families it's not your loved
ones it's not your job or your guilt it
is everything because even the bad thing
things have another side your top 10
reasons why you don't want to
live are the same top 10 reasons as to
why you want to stay alive I told you
mine now it's time that you understand
yours stay you stay beautiful and I'm
glad you're here bye
