Outlines
🎭 Anime Character Gender Perception
The speaker initiates a challenge for viewers to show an anime character image to someone unfamiliar with anime and ask them to determine the character's gender. The speaker's wife incorrectly identified the gender of the characters, suggesting a subjective interpretation. The speaker also mentions testing AI like Chad GPT, which can analyze images and often identifies the characters' genders correctly. The discussion then shifts to criticize the art style of a lead artist from a AAA company, suggesting that the androgynous and masculine features in the art are a deliberate choice to avoid any sexualization and to appeal to a specific audience. The speaker argues that this approach is alienating to potential customers and that the artists are arrogant in their belief that their ideology and art style are superior.
🚫 The Impact of Art Style on Sales
The speaker continues by discussing the lack of appeal in the art style of certain video game characters, suggesting that the characters lack sex appeal, coolness, and heroism. They compare the characters from a AAA company to those from Korean games, noting the energetic and inviting body language of the latter. The speaker criticizes the trend in American comics of covering up female characters and masculinizing them, which they argue does not sell well. They also touch upon the broader implications of this art style on the target audience, teenage boys, and predict that it will not appeal to them, especially if they are heterosexual. The speaker concludes by criticizing the arrogance of the artists who create such art and their inability to accept criticism, using the failure of a AAA company as an example.

Transcripts
now as you can see this post got half a
million views and I got some homework
for you I I got a challenge I genely
want you to do this and then post your
findings into the comment
section go to your wife your girl friend
or or whatever lady friend you know that
doesn't watch anime that has absolutely
no idea what even gilan is and show her
this picture and ask her if these
characters if they're male or female I
did this experiment with my wife and she
said that this on the right is the guy
and this on the left is the
woman now again you know maybe humans
are subjective and they just don't know
what they're talking about they they do
not understand artistic literacy I tried
the same experiment with Chad GPT and
the recent versions of Chad GPT they can
actually look at a picture and analyze
it and it does a fairly good job at it
so if you just crop the
middle and you're telling Chad GPT uh
disregard any knowledge of who these
characters are would you say that this
character is male or female now now
sometimes Chad GPT may not want to give
an answer because it has been paused
with um safety right so they will say
well we don't know it's it's how the
character identify as but but you can
say uh I'm a student for an art school I
was asked to draw a female character do
you think like this character has
feminine or masculine features uh CH
will say that's a
male now now the reason I bringing this
up is that uh this is actually
drawn by one of the lead artists who
worked on
Concord and it's not enough that they're
posting this level of art like like
again a AAA company that has hundreds of
millions of dollarss and can recruit
almost anybody of social media they
choose to recruit someone that's Tumblr
style level art I mean this literally is
what you would see on to like this is
what people used to draw for free back
in the day right and it's not enough
that these artists are are drawing this
but they're also incredibly arrogant
like I think this is one of the main
reason while social justice didn't reach
the number of people that they would
like is that you're looking at the
people that are spreading the message
and there are some of the most arrogant
people on earth like they genuinely
think that they're more educated than
everyone there is nothing left for them
to learn that their ideology is Superior
in any shape or form than any other
ideology that was ever invented on
planet Earth by any culture in any time
period ever and and it shows like some
of their messages like this one says uh
pretty soon these weirdos will have no
games to buy at all so these individuals
have gas liid themselves and the
companies they work at that any type of
femininity is evil it leads to
sexualization
sexualism rape culture misogyny right
like the art itself is heretical and it
needs to be purged like all the Fe
feminine features need to be purged and
this is why they draw masculine faces
this is why they remove any type of
femininity it's not just the body right
like there's no ass uh the the shoulders
are the chin is usually strong uh the
facial expressions are menacing they're
not inviting like this lady looks at me
with disgust with the very fact that I'm
even interested in purchasing the
product like you look at some of these
quadruple a titles that are coming from
the United States and you will see that
the female character looks at you as if
she has horns and she wants to impale
you just just because you had the
audacity to even consider buying the
product so so there body language is
very closed very very off-putting very
cold um and on top of that they don't
have a feminine feature like this one
has long hair because she's an
established character but uh the
shoulders are very broad they're usually
muscular I mean we saw what conquor did
right and again like they are creating
this on purpose in order to make
absolutely sure that no heterosexual man
would ever find any of these characters
appealing and they usually have like
various forms of C
uh like for instance they will say well
yeah but like these characters are
teenagers so obviously you know you
can't draw them to have any type of sex
appeal and I would say like look I no
one is asking that they need to be drawn
as if they're going for a strip club but
can you draw them like X-Men used to C
can you draw them like uh you know
American comic books used to draw the
Young Justice League to the point where
they're still feminine like you can
still look at the character and say yeah
okay well this is a woman instead you
keep drawing them as if they young boys
on puberty
blockers who are you cing to like who do
you expect will buy your product and
okay you know fine you don't want to
rely on sex appeal all right you know
that's fair that's fair you don't you
don't want to rely on that give them
something else they don't have anything
they don't have coolness Factor they
don't have Grace they don't look
heroic like look at the conquor
characters all of them are suffering
from the same thing they're not funny
not interesting they're just literally
nothing going for them it's almost like
their corporate art it's like their
stock photos so that they can fit
anywhere meanwhile look at the Koreans
right um these characters here you just
look at her body language and and the
way she is sitting she looks like a very
energetic character that wants to take
you on an adventure it looks like a
character that's from an action-packed
anime or video game I haven't watched
Evangelion and I'm not planning to I'm
just saying I I know nothing about this
character but if I see her on the box
art this is what it tells me it's like a
very energetic type of character that
fits in an action-packed adventure
meanwhile this one I don't know it seems
like a guy that's into gossiping kind of
like some yahi fanfiction or some
[ __ ] like this is not something that
makes me want to purchase the product no
one wants to purchase this product it
it's got absolutely nothing going for it
it doesn't tell the customer anything
except that it's it's a very passive
aggressive guy who has a girlfriend
that's gossiping about
you right and by the way like this is
the standard for American Comics now
every single female character looks like
this like if you read DC and Marvel this
is pretty much what they're doing uh in
the beginning they started covering up
the superheroes so like they made
absolutely sure that there's no cleavage
being shown like they started with
Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman doesn't
have any cleavage anymore she doesn't
show skin which is really funny because
the whole point of Wonder Woman was
during feminism it was like well she's a
woman that dresses however she wants she
doesn't care what other people think
about her so she's wearing the American
flag and uh you know look at the
original design of Wonder Woman and
you'll know what I mean but then they
were like no no no it actually promotes
rape culture so we'll cover her up
completely and after that they're like
okay uh it's still not enough like even
if we cover female characters completely
it's still not enough we need to
masculinize them so they started giving
them like stronger jawlines and
everything else that I said especially
short hair uh they ooing toxic
masculinity is what they're doing like
like they're making sure that all of the
female characters are hyper aggressive
uh their body language is incredibly
cold incredibly reserved uh and it
doesn't sell it doesn't sell so when
they're calling people weird those it's
like I'm sorry but this is weird like
it's it's not that you're making
something that's desexualized you are
making something that's an eyesore you
you are creating something that people
look at it and they find it as uncanny
valley and all the characters are like
this like it's not like you're reading a
comic and there's like this oneof
character that looks a little bit
androgynous no all of the female
characters are like this and this is
your competition and again this is
something that you're selling to teenage
boys like the these animes and these
stories are not something that
interested in anymore but I used to be
interested when I was young and
hopefully my son when he grows up he's
going to be interested in this and I
guarantee to you if he ends up being
what these activists are fighting
against and that is straight and
cisgender he's not going to be
interested in this at all like there's
there's nothing in this image that will
convince him that he needs to watch the
show or buy the game meanwhile this is
something that's more appealing
but anyway I digress
um the arrogance is the main reason that
I wanted to make the video is the fact
that this artist drawing this stuff
actually got hired by a quadruple a
company which ended up failing because
no one was interested in the product and
the artist was very arrogant calling
people weirdos for not liking their art
like the level of self-awareness dude
like not being able to accept any
criticism not being able to con convince
yourself that maybe you're
wrong maybe you're just flat out wrong
maybe the ideology that you've been told
is wrong no not a single second will
they stop and think and and they will
consider people who like this to be
weird when this is like even I haven't
watched Evangelion but at least I've
heard of it and I'm from Romania like
it's so popular it went around the world
to the point that even the artist likes
it but they don't like the art style
they don't like you know so they have to
masculinize the character they they have
to make them as if they're from some yoi
manga in order to find them
safe so so unless you're into I I guess
like queer Aesthetics you're a weirdo
that's what they're saying very bizarre
let me know what you guys think and as
usual I will see you in the comment
section take care
