Transcripts
Hi everyone.
I'm Shaurya.
I hope you are all doing well.
I started this YouTube channel majorly to show Japan to
my parents
and my friends.
So for them I used to record, edit and upload the videos.
I've come this far because of your love and support.
This is something I didn't expect.
So,
thank you so much you all.
This video is special for me because
on every video I've uploaded, the most common comments
is about my self introduction video.
I've seen it multiple times.
Here you go, this is my self introduction video.
I'm going to answer common questions
like
what is my native place?
Where do I live?
And..
What is my educational qualification?
What is my major?
The third question is,
why did I prefer Japan to America, England, Australia
and how did I get here?
The fourth is,
what exactly am I doing in Japan?
Am I pursuing higher education
or am I doing a job or
am I just here for travelling?
And the fifth is,
do I know Japanese?
do I understand or talk in Japanese?
Some of you have also asked about camera and mic I use.
So,
these are the questions
most commonly
asked in the comments.
I am going to answer all question in detail.
Also many students ask me on Instagram and
in the comments
that how they can come to Japan
and regarding high studies and job opportunities in Japan.
Not just in Japan,
they asked me about high studies and job opportunities in India as well.
I received many requests to do a video about it.
In this video, there is a special announcement for all students.
I'll announcement is in-between this video.
Now let's get into the video.
Firstly, I'll tell you my full name.
It is Parashuram Shaurya.
My grandfather's name is Parashuramudu.
He was a soldier in World War II.
I was named after him.
So, that's my full name.
Now I'll answer your questions.
The first question is,
what is my native place?
So I was
born, brought up and studied in Hyderabad.
So you can call me Hyderabadi.
But my parents are from Krishna District.
All my relatives are from Krishna District.
My language is a mixture of
Hyderabad and Krishna region dialects.
So that's about my native place.
Before I tell you about myself,
I want to talk about my parents.
I'll start with my mother.
Her name is Nageshwari.
She's a house wife.
House wife sounds simple but
according to me
it is the world's busiest profession one can do.
Starting from morning till evening, house wives are busy with one or the other job.
Words fall short to describe mothers.
We will always be indebted to them.
I thank all the mothers.
That was about my mother.
Now I'll tell you about my father.
I'll take two minutes to talk about him.
The first is, my father played an important role in starting this channel.
The second is,
you might know him already,
especially if you watch TV serials and movies.
His name is Prem Sagar.
He is a stage, TV and film artist.
Recently he played heroine's father role in Middle Class Melodies.
In this June month,
Nee Needala movie got released on all OTT platforms.
He played a lead role in the movie.
If you are interested, do watch it.
Professionally, he is a lawyer.
He's High Court lawyer and Government pleader.
Acting is his passion.
He acted in many social and mythological stage plays.
Especially he's popular for playing Ravana role in mythological plays.
He is also a writer,
director,
and
and tell you what,
he is also a Nandi Award Winner.
He taught me two things in my early childhood.
The first is reading books.
He read hundreds of books.
He inculcated me into reading books from my childhood.
And the second is,
Social Service.
We should be helpful to others.
It can be financial help or moral help.
Everything we do should be helpful to others.
I developed this mindset from him.
My grandmother's name is Sharadamba.
In the name of Sharadamba, he started Mission Sharada.
The main motive of Mission Sharada is
to help physically and mentally handicapped children or elderly.
As a part of the mission,
he started Sharada Classics YouTube Channel.
At present, The Brain web series is uploaded to the channel.
So this Brain web series emphasizes on
how powerful our brain is
and the miracles we can do by controlling our brain
and how to protect our brain.
All these are thoroughly covered in the series.
Many other intriguing subjects with in-depth explanation will be uploaded soon on that channel.
Brain web series is already available.
I recorded my first YouTube video for Sharada Classics.
I did a chess series in that channel,
Telugu Chess Lessons.
So,
if you want to learn Chess or interested in Chess
do watch Telugu Chess Lessons videos.
I hope you'll support my father and Sharada Classics the same way you support me.
The link to Sharada Classics is in the description below.
Coming to my educational qualifications,
I finished my B.Tech graduation
in B V Raju Institute of Technology
in Computer Science and Engineering branch.
So,
I enjoyed a lot in the four years of B.Tech
with my friends.
I finished my B.Tech joyfully.
Third year of B.Tech
is important in every Engineering student's life.
Because it is when
every B.Tech student does brainstorming about the career.
I was also in deep thoughts about the next step in the career.
So, generally
B.Tech students has 3 options.
The first is
getting placed in the campus placements.
The second is
going abroad for MS.
The third is
preparing for CAT to pursue MBA.
So these are the three options.
So I considered these 3 options.
The first option is campus placements.
I was of the opinion that
it would be easy to finish B.Tech and immediately go for MS without going for job.
So I didn't attend campus placements.
The next option is pursuing Masters in abroad.
Initially I did not have the idea of studying abroad.
I wanted to do higher studies in India.
So I stroke of abroad option too.
The third option is,
getting into MBA through CAT.
This is a viable option.
I did consider it
but the problem was
I didn't feel like pursuing MBA.
So I was left with 0 options.
Then I looked for answers within me.
What do I like doing?
What is my passion?
I kept on thinking what exactly I should be doing.
I realized that
something about teaching attracted me during my B.Tech.
I don't know how it happened
but I developed interest for teaching.
It was clear about what I want to do.
I like to teach.
But how can I get into teaching?
What should I pursue to start teaching?
I started researching about it and discussed it with seniors for suggestions.
Seniors suggested me to pursue M.Tech in India.
I never considered M.Tech as my option.
My research continued on M.Tech.
What are the exams I need to give to pursue M.Tech?
What are the best colleges for M.Tech in India?
In research I found out that,
To pursue M.Tech we need to give Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
And best colleges in India for M.Tech are IITs.
It was all clear.
I need to give GATE exam to get into IIT.
Being a kid, I wanted to study in IIT.
So now
I can go to IIT and also get into teaching career.
I started preparing for GATE exam.
I cleared my GATE exam.
I got a seat in IIT Bombay.
I finished M.Tech from IIT Bombay
Geo Informatics was my specialization.
Students who knew about my IIT background had contacted me
to ask preparation strategies for GATE
and
which books are to be referred,
and such other exam-related doubts.
So,
for students who asked and for students in general,
I started a new channel called Towards Infiniti.
Towards Infiniti Channel is designed in such a way that it will have information about GATE, CAT, GRE, IIT JEE, NEET and every other competitive exam in India.
In addition to such information,
the channel will have interviews of the students who made into top colleges and share their experiences with you.
That's how the channel is going to be.
All these exams are conducted on national level,
so,
I have decided to make videos in English so students from all over the country can benefit from those videos.
If you feel it is beneficial for you
do subscribe to Towards Infiniti channel.
The link is in the description below.
It's time for your big question.
How I came to Japan?
Why I came to Japan?
What do I do in Japan?
IITs are top renowned institutes in the world.
So,
many multinational companies come to IITs to recruit students in campus placements.
Companies from US, Singapore, Japan, Netherlands, Taiwan and many other countries come to IITs to recruit students.
In the campus recruitment,
a Japanese company offered me a job.
I accepted their offer.
And that's how
I came to Japan.
I came to Japan for the first time in December, 2020.
Since then I am staying in Japan.
Here in Japan I am working in a IT sector.
I am working in a IT sector right now.
I know bits and pieces of Japanese language.
I'm in the learning process.
I know enough Japanese to go to the store and buy things.
I am trying to get more fluent.
And lastly for those who asked about my camera and gear,
I'll show you my camera and mic.
I use
this Osmo Action.
Dji Osmo Action
This is an action camera.
It is very small.
Fits easily in any hand.
And,
this is a competitor to GoPro.
It has all the features that are in latest GoPro.
I was in a dilemma whether to go for GoPro or its alternatives.
On research I found that
this camera
has all the GoPro features like
4K recording at 60FPS.
In addition to that,
while recording in selfie mode, we can see ourselves in this small screen
so we can confirm if we are in the frame.
Also these lens are detachable.
Suppose if you're vlogging and the camera drops accidentally and breaks the lens,
we can simple replace the broken lens with new lens.
Detachable lens.
and,
4K recording at 60FPS.
It is powerful and handy at the same time.
The best part is that it is available at half the price of GoPro.
This has every feature of GoPro.
So,
I chose it
for vlogging purpose.
When I go out,
I attach the camera to the selfie stick,
and start recording on the go.
This selfie stick can be extended up to one meter.
So,
this can be adjusted according to the usage.
I attach the small camera and mic while vlogging.
That's about camera and selfie stick.
Next is mic.
The mic I'm using is Boya M1.
I have been using this mic since the time I recorded Chess videos when I was in India.
It almost been a year and I have not even changed the battery.
Sound output is excellent from this mic.
And it is cheap too.
It is durable.
The mic's cord length is almost 20 feet.
This is very comfortable mic
and suits best for indoor recording.
The links of mic and camera are in the description below.
If you are interested, check it out.
I am currently recording on Vivo V24.
The camera quality of this phone is excellent.
It is really amazing.
You can comfortably shoot indoor videos with this phone.
You can go for Vivo V24.
The Japanese home tour video was shot entirely on this phone.
This phone can record quality videos.
This is my self introduction.
I hope I answered all your questions.
Many of you commented to do videos on few topics.
I read all your comments and taking note of them.
I am planning accordingly where to go, what to shoot and what to upload.
I'll make videos on all requested topics soon.
So,
will meet again in next video.
