hello
my beautiful people welcome back to my
channel it's melon mushy
i have done i have found the cheat code
to life guys
like so i've just done these cute um
shoulder length twists looks
super natural guys how many packs of
hair did i use
one one pack of hair one pack of hair
i have found the cheat code to life
they're very light they're really soft
the hair is super super soft compared to
like your
traditional marley hair um and i'm just
in love honestly this length
is giving me something
if you guys want to know how i choose
this lick then
keep on watching so we're starting off
with freshly washed
and tensioned blow-dried hair don't mind
my nails guys
we are in the middle of a pandemic i did
the rest of my hair the night before
and when i was blow drying my hair out i
used a heat protector and luscious super
milk conditioner which is really really
moisturizing guys
you're going to need a rat tail comb so
you can start making pots throughout
your hair as well
my scalp says myself
don't even judge me but i haven't been
able to go to the hair shop for a very
long time
obviously because we've been in lockdown
pretty much um
even before christmas in the uk
so i'm just using my ordinary
my ordinary rosehip oil i wouldn't
recommend using this because it's
for what it is expensive for your hair
but i have nothing else so desperate
times call for desperate measures guys
i'm actually just gonna do a couple
drops on my scalp
which is nice and clean so nobody come
for me
and i like super crispy parts so
i'm going to take my time like i think i
literally spent an hour
apart across here yesterday my boyfriend
helped me in the end because i literally
bro it was a mess anyway and this is
another lush product that i'm using just
to seal in all the moisture
this stuff is so moisturizing like
honestly so i'm going to use the coming
back now
this is the right color this one i'm
just going to put on the root
to keep it really nice and slick i'm
gonna do the
crochet method this is the first time
i've done it but i've heard with this
style
um rather than doing the invisible twist
method
um it lasts a bit longer so that's what
i'm gonna do
so what you need to do for the crochet
method is
start a little braid
like so it looks like a lot of product
but it's not
it's just yeah yeah it's not okay
[Music]
it's quite scary guys like um as i was
parting my hair i realized that there's
patches in the crown of my hair where
i've got like quite a few
gray hairs which is
really weird because my mom i mean she's
like how old is my mom
how old is my mom 1967. quick master
michelle come on
53 um and
she she does have a couple of gray hairs
but like
not that many i'm just wondering is
there a reason why
i've got more grays 20 20 was a very
very stressful year um as i'm sure it
was for many of you guys but
i'm not gonna dye them i'm gonna embrace
them honestly one day my goal is to be a
silver fox
so that's that that's one period
i don't know if you guys can see here
but
let me see can you see the grays
[Music]
now you just gotta tie back all the um
parts i would recommend tying back
everything so you've only got one row
out
um just so the hair doesn't get mixed in
with each other essentially so
you need your crochet needle um
i don't even have my hand okay
take two this is the hair i'm using guys
i hope you can see this
wait let me move over here so you can
kind of see it better there we go
so this is the hair i'm using i'm not
gonna lie guys
i actually think it's very important to
use that specific
type of hair when you open it it comes
with three
like bundles i guess this is one bundle
it looks quite well i mean it's quite
fluffy obviously but
it looks quite small but this is
actually a lot of hair like i think i'm
only going to be using one
pack of hair for my entire head guys
like
come on i don't remember how much i
bought this hair for i think about seven
pounds per pack
maybe it's pre-fluffed
it's so soft and
really really light which is why i would
definitely recommend this
you could probably use a different kind
of hair but the style might just come
out looking a little bit
different so what i'm doing is just
splitting the hair like that
for this length of hair i've been
cutting it
in half just make sure it's nice and
even at the bottom
and then snip it now we've got this
piece of hair
now you're going to split this in half
again
if you want chunkier twists obviously
you could do
the whole half piece but for these size
twists
um which i think they're like they're
like a medium size they're not small
split it in half cut it in half split it
in half and then you'll be good to go
depending on where you are on your head
you need to kind of gauge how much to
stretch the hair
just like taper it i'm not going to
stretch this one too much but i am going
to stretch it a little bit
um because it's here whereas if i was
the back of my head i basically didn't
stretch it at all just to keep the
length
and then when i get to the top of my
head um i will stretch out quite a lot
and then i might actually add a bit of
hair
um on the ends as well which i'll show
you guys to my natural hair i'm gonna
add
just the curls blueberry bliss um carl
control jelly
um use any kind of i guess lightweight
jelly
that is not going to give you build up
so i'm using about that much i really
recommend just tucking
tuck away the other pieces of hair
so here's my little braid i'm gonna get
my gel
this is gonna help the hair blend really
nicely um
with the expression now okay i've got my
half crochet ready
i'm gonna stretch it tiny bit but not
too much
and then i've got my crochet needle
right
open needle
put it through the middle of the hair
like so and just let it chill
i'm gonna twist it just so it's easier
to hook onto the crochet needle
like so only at this point do you close
the needle
speaking from my own mistakes please
guys pull it through
unhook the needle and then you're gonna
just pull
one of the sides of the hair through so
then you've got crochet hair on
both sides
okay not too difficult right now i'm
going to split my natural hair
now i'm splitting my natural hair to the
crochet hair
okay i'm gonna twist it
on itself to blend in with the crochet
hair
turn it around once
[Music]
okay and now i'm going to start twisting
sometimes you need to kind of adjust
where the crochet
where the root of the braid is of the
twist is but
you get the chest and as i'm twisting
down
i don't know if you guys can see
sometimes i'm literally going to that
sometimes i'm actually stopping
to twist it because sometimes when it's
a bit thicker it's a bit difficult to
twist
the hair on itself um but just make sure
you're twisting
twisting each strand as well as twisting
the strands on each other
um because it will just help keep the
twist
[Music]
together
don't worry if it's like super scraggly
and stuff at the end because we can cut
that off
just kind of see where it's at because
it obviously springs up on itself you
don't want to come too short
i've just got my pro scissors
and i'm just going to cut it like that
there we go
cute cool so i'm just going to work
through my head
the longest part is making i to speak
english today the longest part
is making the parts um especially if you
like
nice and crispy like more self
but once you've got the parts down it's
quite and you've got the technique down
it's actually quite an easy style to do
so it's 11
41 now let me see how long does it take
me to do this
this whole section and i'll let you guys
[Music]
the reason why i'm doing the crochet
method instead of the
invisible root method is i actually
found when i did the invisible root
method for my marley braids in the past
i would redo the front quite a lot
um and just the constant twisting and
wanting it to look really nice and fresh
it would cause quite a bit of tension
around the front
and i found that my hairline was getting
thinner around the front so i was like
nope not doing this anymore
um it looks cute but and it looks very
natural but if it's still going to cause
tension
and cause your hairline to be snared
then
what is the point you know
[Music]
if the extension hair is not long enough
to meet the length that you want it to
be for the twist
i'm going to show you how you can like
overcome that the half so the half half
piece i'm going to cut this bit in half
again
okay this piece of hair i'm going to
stretch it and then i'm going to twist
it in the middle
like that so my twist is here i'm going
to
open my twist like that okay then i'm
going to get this piece of hair
i'm going to put it right in the middle
like that you've got the
extra hair on the twist that you're
already doing
and before you even start twisting down
you need to twist these pieces of hair
together
okay turn once and then you're going to
twist the other piece together
and then what you'll see is that will be
really nice and tight you'll literally
not even be able to
tell where you've added the hair and
you're gonna continue to twist down
this is so cute what oh what's the time
guys
i say i use one pack of hair guys i
still have this much hair i still have
two pieces
and a half left anyway i'm gonna put
some mousse in my hair just to make it
really nice and slick so this is the um
olive oil ors one this is really
moisturizing so
um i like it i'm gonna come back when
i'm looking real cute
so what just just hold up okay bye bye
hello just in my makeup for another
video um so hopefully that will be out
i'm hoping next week will be the week
after we'll see honestly i'm so happy
with the way these came out
this is so cute i love it anyway thank
you so much guys for watching
this video don't forget to show me love
on the channel subscribe
