🛠️ Key Points in Polystyrene Facade Insulation
The second paragraph focuses on the key points to consider when insulating a facade with polystyrene, both for the contractor and the master craftsman. It points out the common error of not understanding or neglecting the correct method of attaching reinforcing mesh to the polystyrene, which can lead to premature facade failure. The correct way to attach the mesh is by applying a layer of adhesive and immersing the mesh, ensuring a secure bond. The paragraph warns against the shortcut of nailing or partially gluing the mesh, which can result in large areas of the facade detaching within a few years. The narrator advises viewers to pay close attention to this step, even if an experienced master is hired, to ensure the insulation work is done correctly.
