Transcripts
okay so welcome to day seven man patting
yourself on the back because you have
done several activities already that
most of your competition isn't even
thinking about doing nor do they even
know what they should be doing and so
pat yourself on the back because going
live or even doing video is just not an
easy thing and so I wanted to share my
special daily checklist when I am
building that brand awareness because
remember I am rebuilding a brand and
making that transition so I am doing
these exercises as I am recording these
videos so you guys get an inside look of
everything that I'm doing to personally
build my brand and so today I want to
share my daily checklist I've just been
working on this for the past half hour
and seriously guys if I didn't create
this daily checklist for myself I would
waste so much time on social media
because as you guys know you could go
down a rabbit hole and so task number
one that I've created for myself is
going into 10 Facebook groups where my
ideal clients are hanging out now
remember I'm not picking these low
quality people groups with filled with
people who are looking for handouts
right I'm not in the online marketing
I'm not in the make money online groups
or anything like that I am in the groups
where people have possibly already spent
money like you know inside the kajabi
group inside the car truck group inside
the MailChimp group inside all of these
tools that people would be would might
be looking for support right they've
probably possibly already invested and
so if you're a fitness coach think about
all of the guru groups that people might
have already spent money on like p90x
and all of these other you know fad
programs that I mean it cost some money
to to actually invest and so those are
the things that I want you guys to think
about and this is not easy so I'm not
gonna sit here and tell you all this is
easy it's gonna take some thought it's
gonna take some research ok
and so you're going to have to really
get to know your ideal client one of the
first things that I did when I was
learning my client avatar was I just got
on the phone with people like my mentor
whenever I first started back it like a
year and a half ago my very first mentor
was like Laurel I want you to get on 70
calls with people now these weren't
hour-long cause we're like 15 20 minute
just kind of jam sessions right and so
was one of the best ways that I got to
know my ideal audience and ask them
questions like what have you already
bought why are you hanging out and and
those types of things and so we have to
if we're gonna take our business
seriously we have to know where our
ideal clients are hanging out and most
importantly like where are they spending
their money okay so that's task number
one and what we want to do is we want to
go and we want to engage with people and
not only engage with people but we want
to add the people as friends who are
engaging with that content because I
like to add the people who are actively
engaging because that means that hey
these are active engages okay so I want
people that are gonna engage with my
post and possibly find value now we're
not just gonna go add friends what we're
also going to do is we're going to add
value okay so we're gonna find posts
where we are going to be able to add
value I don't know how many times
someone has told me Laurel you commented
on my posts in such-and-such group I
came to your profile and man I was just
blown away by all of that content that
you're giving away for free I just
couldn't believe it and so that's what
we want to create for you and that's why
it's important for you guys to follow
this 90 day plan to a tee because I want
that to happen to you I want people to
once they visit your profile they're
gonna be like oh my gosh this person has
such a plethora of valuable content
they're gonna be happy that you actually
added them as a friend okay don't be
afraid like if we are business owners
trying to build our business we have to
break that mindset of being shy break
that mindset of being timid we want to
put ourselves out there okay this is
this is how we're gonna do this now task
number two is I'm gonna outline a
Facebook live video for me to do
tomorrow now I'm going to show you guys
over the next three days how to turn the
15 pieces of content actually into over
70 pieces of content we're gonna learn
that over the next three days but I'm
not gonna get ahead of myself but just
know that what I want you to do is make
sure that you have your 15 pieces of
content exercise done because over it
like I said over the next three days
we're gonna turn these same 15 pieces of
content into over 70 that's a little
teaser for you guys but you want
have that done for tomorrow but I always
always plan my facebook lives one day in
advance and a little hack that I used is
I literally write down as soon as I do
this exercise I write them down I write
my headline and my promise of value and
my three little bullet points on post-it
notes and they stick them to the wall my
my wife hated that idea at first but
every single morning I would get up I
would pull a post-it note off the wall
drink my coffee contemplate over like
what I was looking at in this post a
note and then I would go live and I
would stick that post-it note on the
camera of my laptop just in four just in
case I had a brain fart and just so that
we are clear you want to reevaluate your
headline promise the value and don't
forget this value proposition guys we
want to bake this value proposition into
every single video because again this is
gonna do two things one it's going to
make you madly referral to your friends
because if people really have clarity on
what you do they're going to know how to
recommend you and this is the this is a
big problem with a lot of online coaches
is that their friends or their
colleagues don't know exactly what
they're doing so this is going to help
them build clarity because this is gonna
be burned into their brain right you
guys had it burned into my brain that I
was your favorite social media
strategist right for a long time and so
now I got to burn this next thing into
your brain okay
so it's super super important and right
here don't forget this second part of
your value proposition what can they
expect if they watch every single one of
your videos we want to have it take away
like for instance I promise that in
every single video that you guys are
gonna get one thing that you can
implement into your marketing that's
going to give us over your competition
that tells people hey if I miss one of
laurels videos I'm probably missing
something super important it's gonna
give them FOMO and so this keeps people
looking for my content because they
don't want to miss out on that little
nugget or that little strategy that I'm
gonna give them to implement okay and
then of course we're gonna have our
bullet points okay so what we want to do
is make sure that you have your head
promise of value on a little post-it
note and that's gonna make it so much
easier for you to just grab one every
single day now again a little teaser I'm
going to show you guys how to turn that
15 pieces of content into over 70 over
the next 30 days so you want to make
sure that you have this exercise done
okay we want to make sure like I'm I'm
holding it I'm holding you to it now
you've had seven days to get this
worksheet filled out if you don't have
it filled out definitely go back to the
lesson from day one okay and so task
number three now this is super important
this is going to activate the algorithm
and so what you want to do is you want
to spend some time in your newsfeed
before you go live you're gonna go and
comment on posts from potential clients
who are in your niche for ten minutes
what this is gonna do is this is
literally going to put them in your
plain sight so basically what you're
gonna do is you're gonna go live and
these people who you just engaged with
those are the people that Facebook is
most likely going to show the content to
okay so we want to make sure that all of
the people who are ideal audience that
we're engaging for about ten minutes
before we go live that way more people
will see your live video that is a
tactic that I teach my students is like
before you go live spend ten minutes go
comment go like some posts go engage
with the people who are more likely to
become customers later and then they'll
see when you go live okay and then task
number four obviously go live with the
video that you plan from yesterday
remember
I plan my videos a day in advance okay
so what I'm gonna do is I'm actually
going to drop this in the button below
so I'm gonna go make sure that you guys
get access to it and then what you're
gonna do is you're not gonna want to
request access to this document I will
not give you access to this document but
what you're gonna want to do is you're
gonna want to click on on it and then
you're gonna go file make a copy and
you're gonna want to save this document
in yours okay again I'm not gonna give
you a I'm not gonna give you a table
access to this because obviously it's
gonna mess up my checklist and so what
you want to do again is go to file and
then make a copy and make sure that
you're saving this okay so this is your
first checklist this is going to be the
first checklist of many that you
gonna get inside this program because I
truly believe that if I give you exact
checklist and roadmaps it's going to
help you stay on track okay so I'm gonna
give you guys the assignment to go ahead
and finish up your 15 pieces of content
because like I said over the next three
days I'm going to show you how to turn
that 15 pieces of content into over 70
pieces but from today going forward I
want you guys to start doing this daily
checklist and don't worry throughout
this program we are going to add more to
it
I'll see you guys in tomorrow's video
hope you guys are ready make sure again
cannot stress enough have this exercise
done okay you've had seven days to get
it done make sure it is done by tomorrow
