Revelation and so I have a little story

to tell you before I pop off I do want

anyways okay so here's the deal we have

200 Tu y'all know this sleep in this

household has not been the greatest

lately okay and so we just had a couple

of nights where both of our children

were just not not doing great and so of

course I'm texting Chad in the morning

he was already up with Micah and I told

him I'm literally I'm you know I'm just

going to read y'all the text message so

I texted him at like 5:15 in the morning

I said by the way I'm feeding Noah I'm

hoping he's going to go back down so he

can sleep a little bit longer he has a

lot of gas and so like towards the end

of the night he's just been getting

super Wiggly I've shared this before and

I just have not been able to sleep cuz I

have not been able to transfer him when

he's in that state and so then he just

sleeps on me which means I'm not

sleeping I just told him we're going to

like try to sleep a little bit longer

prayers up kind of thing well then Chad

responded and keep in mind he didn't

have a good night of sleep either and

this is just the reality of situation so

he text me back because he's already

downstairs with Micah and he goes yay

another great day in coming I don't say

that about you just about how hard

things have been lately and in this

moment this was no anger towards Chad

towards the situation it was pure fire

anger towards the enemy that just like

rose up in me like a lioness mama and I

just literally was like no more we are

so done with this and so this was my

response I said I might just get up

shower and rally I'm tired of my joy

being stolen sleep deprived hard moments

whining toddler screaming baby all the

things I'm with you it's been super

super difficult lately but joy is a

choice and I'm tired of the enemy

stealing it from our family I refuse to

wish this season away and not experience

what God has for us and the here and now

if Noah goes back to sleep great I'll

get a few more minutes if not great I'll

get a cup of coffee and I just got so

fired up because I think that this is

happening to so many people in so many

different seasons where the enemy comes

in and he wants to steal your joy and it

it is a purifier attack on your joy for

a specific reason and that's because

scripture says that the joy of the Lord

is your strength and so we talk about so

often that the the enemy comes when your

defenses are down and when you are at

your weakest so of course I feel like so

many postpartum moms are dealing with

this because you're not sleeping right

like the sleep is being deprived you

feel weakened you're not fully yourself

and so the enemy comes and he wants to

steal your joy because your joy in the

Lord is your strength we have to choose

joy we have to choose what we partner

with and so these thoughts that come in

like if I partner with I'm overwhelmed

if I partner with gosh I'm so tired if I

partner with I just want to get through

this baby stage of not sleeping great

Etc I'm going to find

reasons behind this statement to make it

feel more true more valid and the thing

is is it's not that it's not true that

I'm not sleeping right like it's a true

statement but the way in which I look at

it the way in which I allow the enemy to

spin it I'm going to partner with either

I am walking in a blessing like

literally two nights later I was having

a hard time getting Noah to sleep and he

sorry for the TMI but he like literally

only wanted to sleep like while nursing

like attached to me right like every

time he detached he would wake up and I

was like what is going on again it was

like that reminder I'm like you know

what Lord thank you that my body is

nourishing my child soothing my child

calming my child and helping him fall

asleep and like it goes from this

frustration standpoint to this thankful

standpoint and it will strengthen you I

think that's the big part here is

focusing your frustration in the right

direction and so if you're recognizing

okay this is actually not good no enemy

you cannot have this territory you

cannot have my family you cannot have my

children you cannot have my husband you

cannot have my home and then you start

speaking truth to that everything

changes your perspective changes your

level of Joy changes your family life

changes literally Everything Changes in

revisit all of these same Temptations to

rivalry and revenge and we will revisit

reconciliation of seeing one's brother

blessing and I think what's so beautiful

is that you and I we don't have to

compete for God's blessing we don't have

to do things in order to achieve his

Blessing He blesses us because he is

good he is righteous he is Holy and he

loves us and so you and I don't need to

live lives like just take Jacob for

example what I learned in this course so

far is that obviously Jacob the name

means deceiver it can be translated that

way and he lived a life where deception

is all around him in terms of how he got

his father's blessing and even to the

point of how he was deceived by laan in

terms of marrying and sleeping with with

Leah versus Rebecca and you just see all

around him but as he's wrestling with

that angel and he says I won't let go

until you bless me and I feel like so

many of us are just wanting the blessing

of our heavenly father and after they're

done

wrestling he says what is your name and

he says my name is Jacob and he said no

henceforth your name will be Israel

which means prevailing and he gave him a

new identity and you and I have new

identities and I just think that you

guys will be so encouraged by these

fores how well they're done they're

it's like okay I'm going through this

and I can like have this human reasoning

well of course I'm overwhelmed well of

course like this is happening it's just

this season and I just got to get

through the season and when this happens

then I'll find Joy when I'm sleeping

more then I'll find Joy when we finish

this Renault project then we'll feel

peace right and it's always like once we

get to the next thing then the result

but the issue with that is the Lord

promises us peace in the now because

because he is our Prince of Peace and I

just recognize man I'm not leaning on my

prince of peace I'm not

experiencing the fruits of his spirit in

this season because I'm wanting to get

to the next season thinking that just oh

that the next season it all those things

will just like come but no like we're in

a season of pressing right and it's like

man when I'm pressed what's coming out I

want the fruit of the spirit to come out

of me in the season of pressing and I

don't want to miss out on what God has

for me and for my family and for my

children and for my husband and for our

community in the here and the now I want

to have eyes to see what he's doing I

want to have ears that are in tune to

hear his voice I want to have a spirit

that is sensitive to his leading and if

I'm allowing the enemy to take my

thoughts and run rampant or I'm just

literally relying on my flesh instead of

my spirit which in a reminder they're

always at this constant War right we

have to choose to live obedient to the

spirit so the verse goes on and it says

and to destroy false arguments we

destroy every proud obstacle that keeps

people from knowing god we capture their

rebellious thoughts and teach them to

obey Christ and so I want you to

remember that this is a process like as

we're teach te in our thoughts to become

obedient to Christ there might be a

slight learning curve but the result

that we're looking for is that Gap to

shorten right that we we that thought

comes in and we're like oh no like I

know where that's headed and it's

nowhere good because the reality is what

we think we end up speaking and what we

speak we end up becoming and the power

of life and death is in our tongue there

is no in between we're either speaking

life or we're speaking

death over the situation over oursel

over our family over our

home literally everything we speak we

have to remember that it carries weight

and it's powerful right and so we

actually have authority in Christ and we

get to Speak Life over our children over

our families and I'm just tired of how

do I say this like I don't want my words

to be empty I don't want to say a lot of

nothing like I want my words to be full

of life I want my words to be full of

truth I want my words to be encouraging

I want my words to uplift other

believers I want my words to pull and

draw people closer to Christ like I

don't want them not to matter in light

of Eternity like I want to have the

right perspective and I want to have

those shifts of perspective very quickly

before they impact not only me and my

relationship with God but also my

relationship with my family my

relationship with my friends and my

relationship with you like I genuinely

feel like I've been kind of in the

season of

lacking

inspiration right like just like Lord I

want the spirit of Revelation and I

don't

want secondhand Revelation from other

people cuz I think it's really really

easy even for me to get sucked into that

in my quiet time to like watch a sermon

or watch a video or listen to a podcast

instead of going to the actual source

which is the word of God the living

breathing active word of God that is

going to speak to me differently in

every single season every single day I

want that Spirit of Revelation and

wisdom directly from him for my life for

that day he says that he gives us new

mercies every morning which means the

level of Grace I need to get through

today's trouble is given to me that day

and I think so often we get so caught up

in the past or so caught up in the

future that we are robbed of the joy and

the Revelation and the presence of the

father and the he and in the now and

it's going to take us

being

alert aware and prayerful about having

the eyes to see the ears to hear and the

spirit that is sensitive to him and so

that's what made me really mad I got

really mad at the enemy but sometimes I

feel like that righteous anger is a good

thing when it's directed in the right

direction and then it leads to a

revelation that draws you near to the

father and so I also want to remind you

like I had to repent for some of the

thoughts that I was having I had to

repent for some of the ways in which I

was responding right but just feeling in

that conviction it has to lead to

repentance and when repentance happens

then Heart Change happens and a pivot

has to happen we can't just like feel

bad about something and then like keep

doing it right so for me my like next

step is like okay Lord change my heart

help me be more receptive to the spirit

so that I can truly pivot and not keep

going through the same trial over and

over and over again would you grow me

would you mature me and would you

continually show me the importance of

this again not only for me it's it's

never all about us right it's we want to

do this to bring him more Glory like I

want to be the wife and mom that

recognizes that when I wake up I have

the authority to set the temperature of

my home through my words and through my

responses and how I interact with my

family and also how I cover my family in

prayer and so I just want to encourage

you whatever season you may be in do not

let the enemy rob you of your joy it is

your strength take your thoughts captive

turn the overwhelming thoughts into

overwhelming gratefulness and

thankfulness because what you focus on

you will magnify and so for me right now

I am focused on the fact that I am

living in so many answered prayers y all

know this because you prayed these

prayers with us for our family and so I

don't ever want to just focus on the

negative right I want to focus on the

goodness of God for I have seen it in

the living in the here and now I have

experienced the goodness of God and so

that's what I want to share that's the

place in which I want to live from and I

just want everyone to like wake up to

this Revelation that of course the enemy

is going to try to steal your joy

because it's going to weaken you when

you are not walking in joy and so let's

choose Joy today let's take our thoughts

captive let's get in the word of God

let's speak light life let's speak

truth and let's Fully live in the

abundance of Revelation and wisdom of

the father because why wouldn't we want

that right like why wouldn't we want

that it's the goodness of God right that

we get to live in honestly dark times

but we get to be set apart we always

always okay and close

again so this says it's Ezekiel 192 it

says what a lioness was your mother

among Lions a lioness do you remember

that first experience with postpartum

rage yes that first explosion of

emotions where you thought where did

that come

from yes well look we have forgotten who

we are we have forgotten who we can be

no we are not sitting back idly anymore

no I feel the Revival happening among

women we aren't content with passivity

we want our hands in the fight we want

in on the action maybe your rage wasn't

an accident because of postpartum

hormones maybe in an instant

transformational moment you became a

mother and a lioness maybe you have to

learn to harness this new Strength that

you have maybe you just have to learn

where to direct it not at our husbands

not at our parents not at our in-laws

not at our children but at the enemy

energy at your husband the enemy is

job of taking like one chapter of the

Bible and bringing about that revelation

of what that scripture is trying to show

us and also just the importance of what

we're speaking what words we're

partnering with how the Lord gives us a

new identity how he gives us authority

to fight the spiritual battles with the

weapons that he gives us right like the

word of God is our offensive weapon we

get to fight the enemy with with his

truth with his word and it works like

y'all we already read the end of the

book he wins he's coming back and so

stand on that we can find comfort in

that we can find joy in if this
