Transcripts
so hi all my name is Rosie and I'm going
to share my testimony um about the Lord
Jesus Christ and how he saved me
so I'm 47 now and I was saved about 2
and a half years ago around about May
2020 um when everything was going a
little bit crazy with Co
um and my husband and I started
to basically research everything that
was happening because we didn't
fully believe what was going on um what
I was seeing with my eyes and what was
actually happening were seemed to be two
very different things and so we started
to research and joined in with what was
called the truth movement at the
time um but now being saved and coming
to the full knowledge of who the truth
is and that is our Lord Jesus Christ um
I can see that the truth of movement was
just another rabbit hole and another way
of feeding into our pride and our egos
with regards to what we know the truth
and nobody else does whereas the truth
of our Lord Jesus Christ is for
everybody um and he's just waiting for
everyone to come to him for he is love
and he loves us and he died for us he
died while we were
Sinners so the history is for me I was
brought up in an atheist home had
nothing to do with Christianity the only
times um ever came near to anything like
um was in the schools where we used to
back then still say the Lord's Prayer in
school assembly
so I knew of a God and of Jesus but
nothing was ever in my
awareness um never spoke about it at
home never really spoke about it in
school um religious studies that we used
to do um never seemed to touch on
Christianity an awful lot it was every
other
religion um and if it did touch on
Christianity then it was one of those
lessons that people just never paid
attention and I'm ashamed to say I was
definitely one of them too never paid
attention um not
interested at all and when you're a kid
you know you um you follow your lead and
if your parents are atheists then then
that was good enough for me at the
time so going into the adult Arena then
leaving school um joining the Navy and
getting into a lifestyle of Deery
basically lots of
drinking um lots of sexual
encounters
um no drugs at the time none of that
that came later um but at the time
alcohol was really the drug of choice
and for many people and what's
unfortunate is it's culturally accepted
as well so
with all that going on
um and with everything at the time being
bombarded to us through either the media
I can look back at even the songs the
celebrities everything was in my
generation pointing to girl power and
all that rubbish that comes with it um
so it gives you a false identity and it
really does take away true Womanhood
from you um but again not realizing any
of this at the time just being led by
what we were being
fed um so from one indoctrination to
another many many years down the line
many failed
relationships um I was rejected by my
parents which is why I joined the Navy
in the first place
so um I didn't have Roots I didn't have
grounding um I didn't have family to
turn to um during Royal Navy holiday
time I was probably one of the only ones
and there was a few others that just
used to stay on the base because there
was nowhere to go
so you know you continue with that
lifestyle because you don't have any
Roots you don't have any
grounding um I'm also a recluse very
much so very much a
Hermit um so I and I struggle with um
people I I always have done I I was not
brought up
nurtured um I wasn't taught really how
to socialize properly um I did have
friends at school but I used to usually
have just the one
friend um I was bullied um very badly
and because my father was in the RF we
moved around a lot and so we just went
from one place to another so no roots no
long-term friends um rejected at home
and then bullied at school so I entered
into my adult life and you know there's
people that do condemn me and still
condemn me to this day
um of my lifestyle but the drinking and
I did start to binge
drink it was the only time that I felt
that I F F in with people or Society
because when I was sober um yes I did my
work I could get up every day and go to
work I wasn't um what I considered an
alcoholic um although I probably was but
I could easily give up you know I didn't
have withdrawal symptoms or anything
like that if I stopped drinking alcohol
um but I could go out and drink and I
could get up every day and go to work
and so people never saw a problem I
never saw a problem with that but it was
a problem um and it was a big problem
and the biggest one was it was
masking it was masking
really me and I couldn't be me in in
front of people even even up to today um
I still
struggle um I've joined a a couple of
churches just to just to see but I found
that the auditor
church is overwhelming there's a lot of
people lots of
personalities um lots of lovely
people um I don't fully agree with a lot
of the church's doctrines uh these days
um but I will get into that a little bit
later with what's called the Lan Church
um but that's um a story for another
time but if you're anything like me and
maybe you're a Believer or an unbeliever
and you're a lost sheep
and the thought of walking into a huge
Auditorium with lots of people um puts
fear into you then then you're not alone
um I'm definitely one of them and I
still struggle now and I always find if
I try and reach out to people that um
they they never answer me so and I'm
kind of used to that because I'm I'm
someone that
um people don't tend to like and I don't
know why that is but
um I I really don't know I I I could
question that all day
so again my testimony um with the
drinking kind of as I got older and
older and
older you know your body can't take it
much anymore and you let the demons in
that that's exactly what you do you just
let the demons in and because drinking
was the only time I ever fit in it's
just something that has always just been
a crutch to me I have now stopped
drinking um I didn't straight away
coming to being a Christian I did have a
couple of binge drinking
episodes um but I just took it to the
Lord straight away the next day and now
i' I don't touch the stuff at all now
but that's for me I'm not saying you
can't drink as a Christian but if you've
had problems with drinking then it's
probably best to give up is what I'm
saying so with that lifestyle um I was
also getting involved in the ult now I
had a friend who was heavily into the
cult is a solitary witch and so I went
down that path as a solitary witch
and doing anything occult will let more
demons in they are just open doors to
let these demons in I'm getting tattoos
I've got four tattoos one of them is
horrendous you know when I look at it
now well I can't look at it it's it's
like a big dragon with with a rose on it
and I just think wow I was so Led Led to
get that
tattoo um not to mention the fornication
you know that sex outside of marriage I
have been married once um but that that
failed um we were just too young um and
I think we both had issues that we were
dealing with as well so we were not good
for each
other
um so with failed relationships um
opening up doors with the occult and I
talk also as well about the new age now
that came a little bit later and the new
age is everywhere now if no one's heard
that before then it's all about the
Awakening um The Age of Aquarius um yoga
meditation raiki uh crystals all of that
there's so much more to say about that
too but I'll just say that I was into
all of it um even the um like the star
seeds with regards to thinking that
you're a pladi and star seed um that's
aliens that you're an alien Spirit
that's come here to help the Earth get
into the fifth dim menion and that's all
about Awakening as well all of these are
huge huge
deceptions
that it's basically being like a kid in
a sweetie
shop you can pick what you want to suit
yourself and in essence you are becoming
a little God because it's all about you
it's all about your own truth it's all
about what you
want um and so many times now it's all
about your truth oh it's my truth it's
your truth and not mine and all
this when there's really only one
truth and that truth is our Lord Jesus
Christ now he saved
me and what happened was on a particular
night I went drinking with friends and
we started smoking marijuana as well and
we went from beer onto wine onto run you
name it um the party was flowing and
again just didn't see anything wrong
with this at
all and something took over my
body and bearing in mind at this point I
hadn't done any drugs until I
was into my 40s I can't remember the
exact time but I was in my 40s and I
even went to Vietnam partied
hedonistically
partied um you know you start going to
festivals I didn't start going to
festivals until I was in my 40s either
everything that came with a new age you
know vegetarianism and I'm not against
people that a vegetarian but all of that
seemed to come with it it was like you
know vegetarian and then you had to go
one step further and become a
vegan um and then all of that um you
know saving the
planet um Eco Warriors all of that it's
just all part of this new age and then
the festivals um and it's such false
love it really is you know I met so many
people at that place who when you're
deep in MDMA LSD or what or whatever
your choice of drug was
you know everyone was best friends on
that night but the next day or the next
day after most wouldn't even speak to
you you know it was everyone just went
back to being an individual again and
that's what I noticed about that
scene um even in Vietnam you know it was
like a surface Paradise but everyone was
um like big egos huge Pride going on and
um you know I'm not against that stuff
either either that that area you know
but that just seemed to me the way that
people were it was you were an
individual you were not a group or a
community even though you thought you
were you very much it was just you were
your own God you did your own thing and
do what thou
Wilt is the whole of the law with
regards to that and a lot of people
didn't care about others that you know
you could use people and throw people
away it was that sort of thing
and it's really not good for the soul
it's not good for the spirit it really
isn't and it's false love and you you
think you're having the best time of
your life but you're really not you're
really not having it a great time
because your spirit is dying you are
spiritually dead you know so you go from
one shortterm pleasure to another and
never ever have your spirit fulfilled
and you never will the only person that
can fill your spirit is the Lord Jesus
Christ and so I go back to the
night it was nearing the end of the
night for me
anyway and we started arguing again you
know the truth of movement stuff and
what's right what's wrong um which again
was just another deception it was just
another way of dividing people and
um you know the enem is very good at
instilling fear in people and dividing
people and the enemy is very good at
making you turn away from God and you
know distracting you putting your focus
completely on something else and so
that's what we found as well um with the
churches coming to the churches at that
time which I'll I'll discuss later so
this particular night night
um I then lost control of my body and a
demon possessed my body it overtook me I
stood in the middle of the room and I
sort of opened it it open my mouth like
this so I was stood straight arms
straight up
and mouth just open and out of that
[Music]
came a scream from hell is the only way
I can describe
it it was a it was awful
and then it took me around the room
sniffing people like I was a
dog sniffing people and then when I got
to my
friend he just looked me in the eyes
straight in the eyes um and I just
walked out the room then I staggered
back to my van and we were staying in
camper vans
and these two loud male voices were
shouting shouting shouting at me um you
know Drive get in your van go home
you've got to drive now drive drive
drive you know really loud male
voices and with that um I Heard a soft
voice say to me eat something and go to
bed and that was that was all the boys
said I know now that it that this voice
was an
angel so the next day I woke up knowing
something bad had happened that night
before and so that night I got home
and I was in bed and I was about to drop
off to sleep and in the spirit the two
demons came back and tried to drag my
spirit and soul out of my
body now I'd already seen a testimony on
YouTube
about the Lord Jesus Christ and who he
really is because he's the son of God
and I'd already in my
heart believed and even said out loud no
no Jesus is the son of God so I had
Jesus in my mind when this was happening
to me and I called out to him to save
me and he
did and it was the most amazing amazing
experience and I know not everyone is
going to have this and I listened to so
many testimonies and everybody's
testimony is different and it's amazing
every every single testimony is perfect
for that person and for me this is what
I needed I really needed
a well it was it was like
um an amazing
powerful Rush of wind that came through
my spirit and through my soul and he
filled my heart with love filled it with
love and the demon demons were gone they
had no chance they've got no chance with
the power of God the power of Jesus once
he comes into
you and then everything
changed I changed my life changed I was
with um my now husband at the time um we
got married after he was saved as well
so it took a few months after my
experience for my now husband to be
saved
um but initially he thought I was nuts
when I told him my testimony and I told
him about Jesus he did think I was nuts
but the change in me was so
drastic um that he thought there's got
to be something to what I'm
saying and we've already come to think
there's got to be a god there's got to
be something bigger than we are and so
he was on that path already and we'd
already started to read the Bible and
and
what an amazing
book that is and book doesn't
even you know it's not a good enough
word for what it is because it's living
it's a word it's a Living Word the Lord
is in that word and he changes you
through the word and so another um bit
of advice I would give is to anyone who
believer or
unbeliever get your mind get your head
in the Bible and read it because it will
change you and you need to read it every
day it's got to be your daily bread read
it every day it will change you over
time and if you fall the Lord Jesus
Christ is there to pick you up you know
he specializes in the broken and I am
still broken but he's putting the pieces
back together and you know every now and
then it'll bring something to my
remembrance and I will either cry or I
need to repent
or just have to work through something
you know he's an emotional healer he'll
heal everything he heals physically
emotionally
spiritually the Lord Jesus Christ will
save you because he saved me and I was
deep deep in sin deep in sin I have so
much more to say of sort of things I did
but you know the bottom line is I was a
heathen for many many years and I was 45
46 when I got saved I forget how old I
was in 2020 but um you know so it's
never too late either for people and so
I will just
then say that
if if you like me and a lost sheep and
then you feel like you can't go into the
churches hon honestly a lot of the
churches now are the loudest in church
and I wouldn't
recommend you know most of them there
are some good ones out there so just
look around and ask the
Lord to
discern which is a good church for you
but otherwise you know I know that there
are networks out there house churches
are getting
together um but for me at the moment I'm
still working through my
woundings and the Lord Jesus Christ is
helping me to slowly slowly start to
Fellowship um although I'm I'm still not
fully fully committed to a church just
chat
um I I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ
and what he's doing in my life um but in
these end times I would just be careful
um with with who you go to the church
and see and listen
to um because there are so many
deceptions out there and coming from
witchcraft I can see that in a lot of
the churches they absolutely practice
Witchcraft and they don't even know it
and that is a whole whole different
subject altogether um I'm not against
the church at all because it's the Lord
Jesus Christ and our father will work
through
whatever um structure that we we put in
place the father and the Lord Jesus
Christ is more powerful than anything
and so you know they they will work
through whatever
structure men men puts in place um but
for the new Believers out there just and
the Believers like me that are like lost
sheep you know struggling with mental
health um depression and especially
social anxiety um I've suffered all that
and I still suffer and I still struggle
I know the Lord Jesus Christ is with me
and I always put it to him the burden um
but
auditoriums they they can be
overwhelming but you're not alone you
are not alone there's people people like
you like me out there and the Lord Jesus
Christ we belong to him thank you for
listening to my
testimony
