Outlines
ποΈ Abandoned Mansion Renovation Begins
Matt, the host, introduces the start of a renovation project on an abandoned mansion. After a long night of work, the once 12-foot tall pile of trash has been reduced, with most of it fitting into a dumpster. A second dumpster is expected to arrive to continue the cleanup. Matt welcomes new viewers and subscribers who joined after his previous videos went viral. He reflects on the initial skepticism from his wife about buying the house but is glad that the YouTube community is engaged with the project. Matt also mentions his other channels, Demolition Ranch and the Vet Ranch, and hints at a potential series called 'Renovation Ranch' that will likely dominate his channel for the next year.
π·ββοΈ Teamwork Makes the Renovation Work
Matt collaborates with Andy Rawls and John Malec, who help with the renovation work. They attempt to move debris through a narrow door, consider removing a window to make it easier, and end up kicking out a rotten window for access. The team engages in a playful competition to throw sheetrock from the porch into the dumpster, with John devising an inventive method using makeshift 'chopsticks' made from scaffolding. The video captures the camaraderie and humor as they work together to clear the mansion, with a suggestion from a viewer to open up the boarded-up windows and doors to see the view.
π½οΈ Sponsor Spotlight and Future Collaborations
Matt discusses the renovation project's scale and the importance of sponsors like HelloFresh, which simplifies meal planning and preparation. He mentions the convenience of HelloFresh's meal kits and offers a discount code for viewers to try the service. Matt also talks about potential collaborations with Andy and John, who are both in the maker community, and invites viewers to comment with ideas for future projects. He acknowledges a mistake in the video regarding the discount code and corrects it visually on-screen.

yeah hey guys I must have fallen asleep
after a long night of working at the
vended mansion for those of you who saw
the last video you may remember this
pile was much bigger before like 12 feet
tall and it's much smaller now because
we got a dumpster and most of it fit in
the dumpster but not all of it so we
have another oh hey hey
looking good we have another dumpster
coming today they're gonna haul this one
off bring us a fresh empty one because
we still a lot of trash a lot of trash I
mean like literally there's just trash
all around this house everywhere oh hey
for those who are new to the channel
welcome we've had a huge influx of new
people the first video that we made
where we said we bought this house got
like five point something million views
within like a week or something which is
crazy hello we got a ton of new people
from that video welcome and then the
second video the day 1 video of us
working on his house got a million views
in like I don't know 9 hours it hit
trending up to number 2 on the YouTube
trending page so a lot of new
subscribers from that high welcome I'm
glad to have all of you here because I
told my wife I wanted to buy this house
and she was like you're crazy and I was
like I think YouTube will really like it
she was like you're crazy so thank you
youtube for actually liking it and at
least I haven't been proven to be crazy
just yet so for those who don't know me
very well my name is Matt I am the king
of the des militia which is you guys I
have a few other channels demolition
ranch was my first channel and it kind
of blew up we do pew-pew things and
we're the number one pew-pew channel on
the tubes we've got 7 million
subscribers over that's crazy and then I
started that ranch because I am a
veterinarian so I may not look like it
and then I started this channel off the
ranch where we kind of just do
everything else and we've done some
renovation projects and we call these
series renovation ranch because you
gotta admit it has quite the ring to it
and people are saying Matt you should
start a whole new channel called
renovation ranch to document the
progress at this house and I'm like no
more channels no more it's too much but
we'll have mini series like this one
called renovation ranch which will
actually encompass most of this channel
probably for the next almost a year
hopefully not more than a year so we got
this abandoned mansion for those who
this is your first abandoned mansion
video here it is quite a large castle
like house yeah it's pretty crazy and
quite the view it is up on a big hill
overlooking miles and miles of the Texas
Hill Country it's pretty well it's
pretty ugly but someday it will be
pretty pretty when the new dumpster
comes which should be in the next hour -
I will come up here and start working
and they're gonna get rid of this thing
bring me a new one and then oh I'll see
you guys back so see you in just a
second oh hey check it out we have a new
dumpster here it's totally empty which
means there's a lot of work ahead of me
I just wish I had some friends who could
help me get the work oh hey Andy Rawls
fine Texas wood crafts John Malec you
what's your channel what's builds oh it
just for this and they said they would
help me move some junk today so you boys
ready
good yeah buddy that's the view just
don't don't step off if there's about a
12-foot drop here oh gosh I almost got
sued right there did you guys sign the
waiver
yeah that's true John played a little
NFL football and yeah how many guys
would you get in here John hey hey sorry
with it that was a great idea except
well don't go that way turn the other
way I don't think it's gonna fit still
so close that was a good idea except for
the door not being wide not a big one
you know what we could do yeah we could
kick that window out but it's already
rotten you guys want to kick out a
window
[Applause]
[Music]
garbage
[Music]
we got all of the insulation off the
floor we're also gonna throw away the
sheetrock it actually looks okay but all
the corners are banged up and it's like
ten years old so we decided to make a
game out of it to see who can throw the
sheetrock from the porch
into the dumpster Andy does not he does
not have faith in himself
you got it Andy come on man come on come
on
nailed it all right Sam Oh cheater
he's cheating to win look at this guy
that's smart though okay looks like
we're doing you gotta go higher than
throw it higher than you think
no cow no counts no count look at
getting a running start
[Music]
John found out a clever way to get high
insulation down he made chopsticks out
of some scaffolding pieces you are
pretty good with that can you use real
chopsticks that's the real question yeah
yeah you're doing great with your your
extended your extended chopsticks oh
yeah perfect
I like how you came as soon as we
finished were you watching us with a
telescope just waiting you're on a hill
over there just watching just said you
know since y'all knocked out this window
it sure would be cool to knock out that
one and that one we had we actually used
it to get stuff out so mayor's like it'd
be fun for you guys to do it while I
watch so we're gonna open this place up
see what it looks like we've never
actually looked out here it's been
boarded up every time we've been here
and we have owned this house for a month
and haven't seen out those doors and
windows so yeah John said I think I can
run through that we don't have a hammer
a crowbar today he's like I think I can
get through that we're like okay
bar that you picked up is it your car
yeah oh yeah let's not tell John about
that yeah yeah worst case scenario we'll
tell them about that
it's because it has screws it's not
nailed its got screws should we tell
about the crowbar we have who needs a
crowbar thus is in my eyes terrible
I hate working on houses how do I got
this one
how into me are you right now nice yeah
yeah there you go you got wires on the
other side wow look at this good looks
so huge
good job boys
yeah it's probably deer in here tonight

add long sleeves on but how are you guys
doing

maker world and we're talking about what
they can make to do some collabs in the
future so you guys hit up the comments
below let us know what you would like to
see this guy this guy and this guy do in
the future
the abandoned mansion renovation project
is huge and it would not be possible
without sponsors like hellofresh we've
been using hella fresh in my home for
years and it's made our life so much
simpler it's so nice to be able to take
a break from the meal planning and the
grocery buying shopping process from
step-by-step recipes to pre measured
ingredients you'll have everything you
need to get a while worthy dinner on the
table in just about 30 minutes and
fresh is now from $6.99 per serving
hello fresh has something for everyone

burgers they have more five-star recipes
than any other meal kits so you know
you'll get something delicious you can
easily change your delivery days your
food preferences or even skip a whole

there's a reason hellofresh is America's
number-one meal kit we're gonna get
started cooking Tuscan sausage and
pepper spaghetti
kids start with eight free meals that's
$80 off your first month of hellofresh
by going to hell french comm slash off
the ranch 80 hey just editing this video
and realize I said the wrong thing my
brain didn't connect to my mouth like
normal it's actually go to hello fresh
comm and enter the code off the ranch 80
i fixed it on the screen sorry about the
mistake I'll see you back in the past
goodbye it helps out what we do here
it's a great product that I stand behind
your family is going to love it we are
going to eat this and then I will see
you tomorrow at the abandoned mansion oh
hey good morning new day new bobcat not
really it's it's actually an old Bobcat
we have had this Bobcat for a while this
is the same one that I made my my firm's
first time I've ever really used a
bobcat so now we'll use it for some more
good work
it's so heavy so the trailer is that big
heavy trailer it's all steel it's a
really long trailer double axle super
heavy-duty trailer and then the Bobcats
super a heavy and I'm pulling it with a
raptor which for those who don't know
Raptors are made for like off-roading
they're made for like bumps and mud and
desert racing they work for pulling
trailers they work great for pulling
light loads it has plenty of horsepower
it has a lot of torque but it could use
more torque and it could use a better
suspension designed for pulling heavy
trailers so like I go back and forth
like on my next truck which I'm not
planning to get one anytime soon but my
next truck would I go ahead and just get
like a 3/4 ton or one ton turbo diesel
or do I want to go with another Raptors
like those that 350 s look good you know
it looks so good and it would just make
my life so much easier days like this
but I don't pull a trailer that much
maybe I bet I pull a heavy load 10 times
a year so I do it but I Drive without a
trailer way more
it's 3/4 ton trucks though man they look
good but those Raptors though weigh in
in the comments below
we're here
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
our other motivation was it was a crack
house and we found like syringes and
stuff
[Music]
just found this in the house and I've
seen Breaking Bad that is where we are
ending for the day chipping up tile and
making big piles of tile around here
people who have been emailing us about
helping we've been getting a huge influx
of emails about people wanting to be a
part of this businesses wanting to be a
part of this we're trying to sort
through all the emails right now I'm
gonna try to do Texas guys first because
it just makes more sense but if you are
a big company and you want to send us a
bunch of tile or something maybe then I
wouldn't say no to that
so we'll put email in the description
below but thank you all all the new
people who are here watching our
renovation ranch progress we have a lot
of stuff coming in the future because
there's a lot of stuff that needs to be
done to this place but it's starting to
shape up thanks for watching renovation
slash off the RIP
