💪 Building Consistency in the Gym with Short-Term Goals
Noah, a fitness enthusiast with three years of experience, introduces his expertise in helping skinny guys achieve their dream physique. He emphasizes the importance of setting short-term goals to maintain consistency in the gym, such as doing one more rep with the same weight or adding weight while keeping the rep count. These goals provide positive feedback and contribute to long-term progress through progressive overload. Noah illustrates this concept by using the example of a bench press goal, suggesting that setting a goal to increase the rep count by one each week can lead to significant strength gains over time. He encourages viewers to treat these small victories seriously, as they are stepping stones to larger achievements.
🔄 Keeping Workouts Fresh by Mixing It Up
Noah shares his personal experience of losing passion for his workout routine after doing the same exercises for over a year. He found that changing up his training style reignited his enthusiasm and made his workouts enjoyable again. He suggests that viewers try new exercises, training methods, or even focus on different aspects like size or cardio to prevent boredom and maintain consistency. Noah's message is that variety in workouts can prevent stagnation and keep the fitness journey exciting and effective.

what's up guys I'm Noah I've been
working out for the past 3 years and now
I teach skinny guys how to get their
dream physique by the end of this video
uh you've learned how to stay consistent
in the gym I quickly want to mention I
have a skinny 2 aesthetic body course
where I'll teach you everything I know
and you'll get oneon-one personal help
for me so let's get into the first thing
you need to stay consistent in the gym
so that first thing is shortterm goals
so everyone has long-term goals right
benching two plates um I don't know
doing 20 pull-ups um getting 18in arms
but not everyone has short-term goals
like for example doing one more rep than
you did last week with the same weight
or maybe even doing the same amount of
reps with 5 kg more than last week these
short-term goals would just give you
more short-term success and positive
feedback and they'll actually help you
towards your your long-term goals for
example if you if you have set a goal to
do one more rep than you did last week
with the same weight uh on bench then
that'll help you towards your goal of
benching two plates for example because
you're literally progressively
overloading you're just breaking your
your old PR um but a little shorter term
like an easier version basically like
the little the little short-term goals
are like side quests and then you have
the 225 bench which is like the main
mission basically that's a way you can
you can see it you need those side
quests to like level up I guess and the
side quests also make it more fun to
like go to the whole like do the whole
journey or whatever so as an actionable
step the next time you're in the gym set
the goal for yourself to do one more rep
with the same amount of weight as you
did last week so if you did for example
60 kg bench last week and he did it for
eight reps then try it for nine reps the
next time you go in the gym and don't
just treat it like some like stupid
little uh fun thing treat it like an
actual like a PR attent because it is a
PR attent it's a it's a rep PR attent
which it's a nine reped PR attent so
take it seriously it will also help you
towards your actual to goal of like
benching played so I me yeah take it
seriously and the second thing to stayc
consistent in the gym is mixing it up I
was doing the same workout routine for
over a year and after a while I just
started to become less passionate and I
genuinely didn't know why like the
workout just became yeah Less Fun and
just a bit repetitive so after weeks of
doing boring workouts I realized maybe
all I had to do was just like mix it up
cuz I've been doing the same workouts
every single week for over a year so I
started doing a completely different
training style and that actually worked
like my my workouts are great again so
at least try to change up your exercises
or I guess I mean I completely change my
training style but I guess you could
like if you don't want to completely mix
it up you could just try some new
exercises here and there or try new
maybe instead of training for strength
you train for size or you train a little
more cardio you like maybe more athletic
athletic movements like ply metric so
now you've learned two tricks to stay
consistent in the gym if you're serious
about the gym I have a dream physique
course where I teaching you guys how to
get that aesthetic attractive dream
physique and the first person to buy it
from the link in the description right
now gets a special discount and as soon
as that person buys it the price
increases and that process just repeats
for every person that buys it so if you
buy it now you'll literally get it
cheaper for the person that buys it
after you so yeah just be quick but yeah
guys that was the video I hope you guys
learned something uh comment down below
like subscribe whatever all that good
stuff uh yeah I'll see you guys later
