play00:05

the artificial intelligence wave is

play00:07

getting bigger by the day and every

play00:09

software company wants to tap into this

play00:12

big opportunity in fact one of India's

play00:15

leading Business Management Solutions

play00:17

major tally wants to write this wave too

play00:21

tally Solutions is not an unfamiliar

play00:23

name to many a legacy firm started off

play00:26

in 1986 Still Remains relevant and comp

play00:29

competitive in the ever evolving

play00:31

technological landscape but the firm has

play00:34

been busy working on a lot of new things

play00:36

and products we have with us Mr Tas

play00:39

goenka managing director of tally

play00:42

Solutions which is one of India's

play00:44

leading business management software

play00:46

Solutions hi thees thanks a lot for

play00:48

speaking to us thank you so much thank

play00:49

you for having me yes thees let's dive

play00:52

right into the questions Tally's journey

play00:55

is very interesting right you started

play00:57

off in 1986 and and you've managed to

play01:01

keep up you know with the latest

play01:03

technology that's coming in why don't

play01:05

you talk to us a little bit about your

play01:07

journey so far now that you're sitting

play01:09

here a bird's eye view of whatever

play01:12

happened and also your growth Journey a

play01:14

little bit sure sure so tally was born

play01:16

before I was uh my granddad and dad

play01:18

started it and before tally actually

play01:20

they used to run a uh textile

play01:23

manufacturing sort of a textile

play01:24

manufacturing uh company out of

play01:27

Bangalore and the the story of how we

play01:29

started off was it's almost legendary in

play01:31

that sense uh my granddad d g had asked

play01:34

my dad to make something useful and my

play01:37

dad was getting into computers liking it

play01:40

um and one day the factory unfortunately

play01:42

burned down and the only thing that was

play01:44

left was this computer and my family is

play01:46

very spiritual in a sense so you know

play01:49

you kind of see these as signs of the

play01:51

Universe um and I think since then the

play01:54

basic foundations have really been to

play01:57

create products create and ultimately

play01:59

using great technology for Indian

play02:03

businesses uh small and medium

play02:05

businesses uh really speaking business

play02:07

owners to be able to run their

play02:08

businesses um much more delightfully I

play02:11

think through that Journey uh we've had

play02:14

nice quots that have come out uh for

play02:17

example my granddad used to tell my dad

play02:19

that uh you know who are you making the

play02:21

software for when I'm buying a car I'm

play02:24

not a mechanic I'm buying it to drive my

play02:26

car similarly when I'm buying a software

play02:28

I'm buying it to run my business not to

play02:30

run your software um and I think that

play02:33

drove a lot of core culture and um

play02:36

ability to innovate on technology I

play02:39

think over the last 37 years now that's

play02:43

really what we've done um times have

play02:45

changed the landscape keeps changing but

play02:48

in this industry it's you have to be

play02:51

able to innovate on um core experiences

play02:55

that customers will really value so

play02:56

we've done that we've also had the love

play02:58

very honestly as and support of so many

play03:01

people um that's played a big role

play03:04

definitely definitely yeah so the other

play03:07

interesting thing about tally is that

play03:09

you're a very big player among msmas

play03:11

right um of course you have Enterprise

play03:13

customers as well but MSM play a very

play03:16

big part what was that game-changing

play03:19

strategy for you to go about because

play03:21

you've got so many competitors also

play03:23

coming in after you know you were

play03:25

launched so what is the gamechanging

play03:27

strategy that's helping you maintain

play03:29

your Mar Market leadership that's a

play03:31

great question um honestly on the

play03:34

competition side we've had competition

play03:35

since the start we were not the first um

play03:39

in anything that we' have done we've

play03:40

just approached it with a particular

play03:42

mindset and the mindset that we've had

play03:44

is what can we do to help businesses run

play03:48

their business better I'm not saying

play03:50

that everything that we've done has

play03:51

worked out really well uh but that's

play03:53

really the fundamental and what we're

play03:55

willing to do for those experiences to

play03:56

give an example uh in the early days we

play03:59

had created our own database done our

play04:01

own memory manager done our own math

play04:04

routines till date that culture exists

play04:07

where we have our own core technology

play04:09

that makes a really big difference to

play04:12

how you can deliver a headache-free

play04:15

stress-free experience for customers um

play04:19

there used to be an ad I'm forgetting a

play04:20

mo motorcycle ad fill it shut it forget

play04:22

it okay tally is almost like that uh

play04:25

once you start using it you don't need

play04:28

any servicing there's no complic ation

play04:30

um that's how we approach it I think

play04:32

that's been a big pillar the second one

play04:34

has been since the early days the big

play04:36

challenge that we've had is around

play04:38

people using the software but not having

play04:40

paid for it okay um and I think we took

play04:43

a very nice approach that uh my dad had

play04:46

really pushed for which is that you're

play04:49

an Indian I'm an Indian and um piracy

play04:53

does not imply that you're a thief right

play04:56

why should I'm not a thief so why should

play04:58

I believe that you're a thief and and he

play04:59

really pushed for this view that Indians

play05:03

don't know where to go and buy the

play05:05

product so we've got a very large

play05:07

ecosystem of Partners you can name a

play05:09

city name a town we've got someone there

play05:11

who will sell and service on the product

play05:13

I think that's made a large difference

play05:14

to the Comfort that customers have on on

play05:18

um having someone there you know so

play05:20

that's been I would probably say got

play05:22

like you said what your granddad told I

play05:25

think that set the tone to throughout

play05:27

even now I think 100% yeah yeah got it

play05:31

um so can we talk a little numbers here

play05:34

you know uh pandemic during pandemic

play05:37

post pandemic there are a lot of changes

play05:40

especially for software companies right

play05:42

and again you deal with smaller

play05:43

companies msmas so uh how has it been I

play05:47

mean uh has 2023 given you the uh the

play05:51

highest levels of growth that you saw

play05:54

pre pandemic or what has changed

play05:56

permanently for

play05:57

you lots of things um I think the way

play06:01

the business has run in general is uh

play06:04

going back to the same two pillars uh

play06:07

building great things that customers

play06:09

want and like and the second is getting

play06:11

them access to that product has been the

play06:13

two driving factors of our growth uh

play06:16

pandemic was a very very difficult

play06:18

period I would say um the

play06:21

organization touchwood adopted very

play06:23

quickly and adapted very quickly I think

play06:26

our partners I was worried about the

play06:28

most people who and service on the

play06:30

product a lot of their work is physical

play06:32

they go to customers meet with customers

play06:35

and I think for them transitioning had

play06:37

to be done quickly so they had to adapt

play06:39

but I was most worried about them and

play06:42

then

play06:43

customers um had a huge problem in

play06:46

managing their business remotely so we

play06:48

had put together several solutions that

play06:50

allowed us to ride through with them um

play06:54

but the attitude very honestly bavya was

play06:56

that how do you as a community survive

play07:00

together rather than trying to um milk

play07:03

the opportunity uh I think that's that's

play07:06

an attitude it's nothing right or wrong

play07:08

in anything else uh I think post

play07:11

pandemic this has been our second full

play07:14

full year of business and we've seen uh

play07:17

a great response from customers we've

play07:20

got two releases out recently a few

play07:22

months ago we took out tally Prime

play07:23

release 3.0 uh two days three days ago

play07:26

we launched tally Prime release 4.0

play07:29

uh and all of these are oriented towards

play07:31

making life simpler more delightful

play07:33

easier to run and it's with that

play07:35

flexibility that you expect from us so

play07:38

overall things have been very very good

play07:41

by the end of this year we should cross

play07:42

two and a half million businesses using

play07:44

the product many of them have many

play07:47

people inside so we don't count users uh

play07:50

but that's a very large number and very

play07:51

proud of that got it got it but can you

play07:54

tell us some more numbers in terms of

play07:56

you know your revenues how was 2020 3 B

play08:00

sure sure so this year I think we'll end

play08:02

up growing maybe around 30 odd per 25

play08:06

30% by the end of the year um and it's

play08:10

good I mean it's not a bad place to be

play08:12

at uh I would say the more important

play08:15

Focus for us continuously though is just

play08:17

two things uh can we bring out products

play08:20

that customers like and can we get it to

play08:22

enough of our existing customers so

play08:24

those are the two big areas of focus and

play08:26

the whole company is driven around

play08:27

around that so um tus you briefly

play08:31

touched about this you know um tally

play08:33

Prime 4.0 I think tally Prime 3.0 did

play08:37

have received a very good you know um it

play08:40

was welcomed across msmas and

play08:43

Enterprises so uh can you give us um

play08:46

some you know uh sneak peek of what

play08:48

Tally 4.0 is and you know what's the

play08:51

difference I mean why should a user

play08:53

switch to that of course uh so in 3.0

play08:56

Bava what we did was uh after 6 years of

play08:59

of GST we felt the need to redo the

play09:02

entire experience make it simpler make

play09:04

it faster make it a lot more flexible um

play09:07

that became the fastest adopted release

play09:09

in our history uh with 4.0 what we've

play09:11

done is uh

play09:13

introduced uh the ability to visualize

play09:15

data but completely customized to you so

play09:18

you can create your own visual data

play09:21

dashboard uh the second thing that we've

play09:23

done is uh integrated with uh WhatsApp

play09:25

for business and it's made

play09:27

Communications professionalizing that

play09:29

communication for small businesses um

play09:32

much much better and I think the third

play09:34

thing is many businesses today sell

play09:36

online um many of our Casas and and uh

play09:40

gsps a lot of them work with clients who

play09:43

maintain data on Excel and they wanted a

play09:45

simple way to import any data uh on

play09:48

their own inside tally so these are the

play09:50

three things that we've done and the

play09:52

response that we've received till now I

play09:53

think by the end of the day we should

play09:55

hit about one lakh people one lakh

play09:57

businesses that have adopted this again

play09:59

very very quick uh to get to that place

play10:01

it's not easy for businesses to upgrade

play10:04

um but they they adopt very quickly so

play10:07

tou one definitely I mean hope it really

play10:10

works as well as 3.0 as well but what is

play10:13

the pricing like I mean would they need

play10:14

to pay anything more I mean if they are

play10:17

your subscribers yeah yeah actually the

play10:20

way the licensing model works is

play10:22

slightly different from the rest of the

play10:24

industry so we sell a permanent license

play10:27

and actually speaking once you buy that

play10:29

you don't need to pay us a single rupee

play10:31

um but what we do is because we give

play10:34

updates regularly we keep adding more

play10:36

value for that we charge a subscription

play10:39

and if you're an active subscriber the

play10:41

release is completely free if you're not

play10:43

yet a subscriber the release comes to

play10:45

you at the cost of a subscription even

play10:46

if you haven't renewed it two years ago

play10:48

or three years ago um so it's just that

play10:51

cost um so yeah those are the

play10:53

commercials yeah yeah the just let's

play10:56

jump on to the hottest topic of of let's

play10:59

say this year later last year as well um

play11:03

AI right uh what What's exciting for you

play11:07

uh in the whole Ai and software

play11:10

convergence I mean what do you see

play11:11

that's you know going to change what's

play11:14

going to come in the coming years that's

play11:17

a great question I don't want to be

play11:19

suser so I don't know what's going to

play11:20

change and what's going to come I can

play11:22

share what perspective we have got sure

play11:24

sure uh so I think over the last few

play11:27

months we've got a A Team that that's

play11:29

been working around figuring out what

play11:32

kind of new experiences we can bring for

play11:35

customers uh but as usual we go down to

play11:38

some very basic

play11:40

fundamentals um and I think the two

play11:42

things that we are most excited about is

play11:45

at the moment AI is quite expensive it's

play11:47

resource hungry and it's it's uh not so

play11:51

accessible to everybody in its best

play11:53

form uh we think that in our domain uh

play11:57

it's possible to create something that's

play11:59

very very low cost uh it's going to

play12:02

happen over a period of time but the

play12:03

other angle of it is that a general

play12:07

philosophy we've got is we don't want to

play12:10

be the

play12:11

company um that doesn't treat a customer

play12:14

like a friend what I mean by that is

play12:17

that uh we don't want to be creepy we

play12:20

don't want to look at your data ever we

play12:23

don't want anyone in the company to ever

play12:25

be able to look at your data this has

play12:27

been a day one Philosophy for plus it

play12:29

doesn't matter if it's a cloud world not

play12:31

Cloud World mobile world every

play12:33

engineering effort is to bring in

play12:35

complete privacy and security for you um

play12:40

and from the early days we had a product

play12:42

uh feature called tally Vault okay if a

play12:45

customer forgot a tally Vault password

play12:47

we would not be able to open that data

play12:50

for them right that same philosophy is

play12:52

continue till now and I think that in

play12:54

the AI World it'll be even more

play12:57

imperative that how do does a system

play12:59

learn but

play13:01

keeping um bavia Secrets her own uh and

play13:05

I think that in the financial world that

play13:07

we are in with the trust that we have of

play13:09

our customers that's something that that

play13:11

we will really hold and there's a lot of

play13:13

scope for nice Innovation there so I

play13:15

think that what the kind of experiences

play13:17

we're building are based on these two

play13:19

basic premises can we get it out at an

play13:21

incredibly low cost uh for our customers

play13:23

to be able to access and can we do it in

play13:25

a manner that's making sure that your

play13:28

privacy and security are protected got

play13:30

it got it I mean the way you speak about

play13:32

it shows the enthusiasm you have towards

play13:36

you know artificial intelligence but uh

play13:38

why don't we go specific to tally I mean

play13:40

is there any Investments that's already

play13:42

been planned like you said AI is not

play13:44

cheap so what are some Investments

play13:47

investment plan maybe uh yeah so it's

play13:50

honestly hard to share numbers what we

play13:52

do is the way we work from an R&D

play13:54

perspective is that we have teams that

play13:57

are dedicated on uh um building out

play14:01

understanding core Technologies building

play14:03

out Innovation on top of those core

play14:05

Technologies and creating technology

play14:07

even um so we've got a small team that's

play14:09

dedicated you don't need many many

play14:11

people uh on the task uh but you've got

play14:13

a team that's dedicated on this and

play14:15

we're continuing to hire and build out

play14:17

that uh build out that effort so that's

play14:18

the way we perceive it and if we need to

play14:20

do experiments we have enough

play14:22

experimental budgeting that we kind of

play14:24

take care of okay okay so this R&D part

play14:26

I mean how important is it I think

play14:28

you've set up a huge office for R&D so

play14:32

why don't you talk about that R&D is

play14:33

like 50% nearly of our total expense

play14:36

right 40 50% of our total expense it's a

play14:39

really really big deal um if you need to

play14:42

make databases that Talent isn't

play14:44

available and the kind of problems that

play14:46

we want to

play14:47

solve doesn't really get picked up by

play14:49

many people uh so we have to spend a lot

play14:52

of time effort not just uh building and

play14:55

training folks but giving the freedom

play14:58

and space space to be able to learn

play15:00

experiment and I think the culture that

play15:03

we want to drive is that if we are a the

play15:07

ambition that we've got is to be able to

play15:09

build an Indian technology company

play15:11

that's Global uh I think everyone in

play15:14

India wants to see not Indian folks

play15:18

running uh companies outside but Indian

play15:20

folks running Indian companies and

play15:22

building them into globally respected

play15:24

firms uh that's something that we aspire

play15:26

to do as well and we have the core

play15:29

fundamentals I feel in place uh so a lot

play15:32

of our effort goes into building out

play15:34

things that that help us lead into those

play15:37

places got it got it definitely yeah um

play15:40

Tes I mean this is not much touched upon

play15:43

right uh tally uh tally is of course for

play15:46

msmes but what about AI uh I see a lot

play15:49

of new age startups coming up uh serving

play15:52

particularly for smaller companies and

play15:55

uh using AI but what is your view in it

play15:58

how can uh AI change the way msmes

play16:03

work many many ways I think uh business

play16:07

owners can get access to Predictive

play16:09

Technologies that were only accessible

play16:10

to large organizations um I think they

play16:13

can get it at a low cost if done right I

play16:16

think businesses can be able

play16:18

to um change the way they operate their

play16:22

accounting experiences CRM experiences

play16:25

Inventory management experiences the

play16:26

core processes can become a lot more

play16:28

Loosely structured and yet uh give you

play16:31

incredible Insight today if you're a

play16:34

very small business many of these

play16:36

processes are done by the owner itself

play16:38

and they're not processed in the way we

play16:40

would at a large company think you know

play16:42

that this has to come first then this

play16:44

then this then this it happens in order

play16:46

to manage cash flow um and I think that

play16:50

despite that your system has to work and

play16:53

uh there's there's quite a bit of

play16:54

opportunity there uh the third area is

play16:56

getting Insight from data that's not

play16:59

necessarily um yours itself we've seen

play17:02

how you can ask a question to any of the

play17:04

Bots or AI tools that are available and

play17:07

it throws up an

play17:08

answer and very very good answers I

play17:12

think there's a lot that you can do

play17:13

around data uh when it comes to

play17:15

experiences like that so like this there

play17:16

are many uh but these are a few that

play17:18

that come mind definitely defin I mean

play17:21

that's a biggest space we are also

play17:22

looking forward to you know in the

play17:24

coming days how can AI transform the

play17:27

msma industry in itself

play17:29

um and um T I mean this is a new

play17:31

development that I want to know more

play17:34

about you've recently got RBI no for

play17:37

your U tally Edge platform so um account

play17:41

aggregator again digital public goods so

play17:43

what is uh what is tally Edge tell us a

play17:46

little bit more about it what are your

play17:48

plans uh of course India is a credit

play17:50

staed market and there's a lot of scope

play17:52

there why don't you tell us more about

play17:54

that product perfect so I think first

play17:56

off when the government came out with

play17:58

the account aggregator philosophy um

play18:00

saying that the citizen is empowered

play18:02

with access and providing access on

play18:05

their own data uh that was a really big

play18:09

philosophy aligned view uh that we have

play18:12

we do believe that you have your right

play18:14

to your data um and what we were

play18:16

exploring was trying to figure out what

play18:18

are the possible use cases we think

play18:20

there are many um and its early days

play18:23

still very honestly in the account

play18:24

aggregator space but for us tally Edge

play18:26

was crafted with a specific intent we

play18:29

felt like a lot of the use cases that

play18:31

were shared earlier were all business

play18:33

oriented how can a business find it easy

play18:36

to borrow money by providing

play18:38

documentation uh banking data GST data

play18:42

all in a single click but everyone who

play18:45

was focused on the lending sector was

play18:47

focused on the consumer side true yeah

play18:49

so what we've done and we get businesses

play18:52

we understand them we work with them

play18:53

every day so tally Edge was really

play18:55

crafted for business owners to both

play18:57

manage person accounts as well as the

play18:59

business accounts and the business

play19:00

accounts have some nuances so that's the

play19:03

intent of tally Edge it is completely

play19:06

data blind like any other aggregator uh

play19:09

but the specialty is that the

play19:10

experiences are business owner oriented

play19:12

okay okay I mean is there any timeline

play19:14

that you want to share when it'll kick

play19:16

off you can actually download it now um

play19:19

on your Play Store iOS store app store

play19:22

you can download it now I'd love to get

play19:24

some feedback um from you from anyone

play19:27

who's uh who's listening

play19:29

uh yeah sure thing yeah yeah um theis I

play19:32

think U as we come to an end I also want

play19:35

to talk a little bit about data security

play19:37

and privacy right you have time and

play19:39

again mentioned about it uh you know a

play19:42

unique statement that you shared about

play19:44

not being a creep and not looking into

play19:46

the data right uh but now with AI it

play19:50

comes under a lot of questions right

play19:52

there's a lot of gray area out there so

play19:54

how do I mean how does tally play a role

play19:57

here in terms of ensuring data security

play20:00

production for businesses yeah it's a

play20:03

great question um so I think first off

play20:06

for us it's really a core philosophy if

play20:09

um you talk to anyone in our team and

play20:11

they hear me speak uh I make the same

play20:14

point that I made a few minutes ago I

play20:16

make the same point to them that we're a

play20:18

friend we're not you know weird um and

play20:21

we want to keep that philosophy it

play20:22

really even though it sounds like a lay

play20:24

man statement it really is a is a uh bed

play20:28

rock on which our security technology is

play20:30

built a Bedrock on which our AI in

play20:33

Innovation is happening how do you

play20:34

collect data um how do you process data

play20:38

how do you provide feedback all of this

play20:40

can be done anonymously but it has to be

play20:42

really thought through it's not inherent

play20:44

it's not built out and therefore for us

play20:47

if we need to provide this additional

play20:49

value it will require some work um

play20:52

grounds up and we've been doing that now

play20:55

for a long time so we're very confident

play20:57

that we can get it out

play20:58

uh but our core philosophy is that I do

play21:01

think that in the race to bring out

play21:04

value many times a lot of us do

play21:08

compromise uh what could be right for

play21:10

the world yeah and for us a a

play21:13

fundamental belief uh at the company is

play21:15

that privacy and security is a right

play21:18

it's not a compromisable right um and so

play21:21

for us a lot of the Innovation kind of

play21:23

happens there I don't know if the rest

play21:26

of the world is thinking in that light

play21:28

maybe perceiving me as naive in calling

play21:31

that out uh but there's a lot of space

play21:33

for in my opinion Innovation around that

play21:37

okay okay got it got it have you been in

play21:39

touch with any government um officials

play21:42

Ministries for AI regulation uh within

play21:44

India

play21:46

uh not really not really I I I would say

play21:49

that the way we uh uh I don't have a

play21:52

very strong view on regulation very

play21:54

honestly um I do know that the

play21:57

government's job is to be able to

play21:58

protect its citizens and yet Empower its

play22:00

citizens um I don't have a framework

play22:03

that could potentially work out uh but

play22:05

as the dialogue starts which it has and

play22:08

and Europe has has gotten a view on it

play22:10

um you will see other countries rallying

play22:12

around of view very quickly including

play22:14

India I feel uh but when dialogue does

play22:17

happen I think it gives us a lot of

play22:18

space for both being Cutting Edge as

play22:20

well as laying down citizen protecting

play22:23

um views got it got it uh the just uh

play22:26

why don't you share a little bit of your

play22:28

road map for 2024 we are I mean almost

play22:31

the end of 2023 um some of the

play22:34

Milestones or road map that you've set

play22:36

that you know will set the tone for the

play22:39

next year maybe a three points three

play22:41

points if you can sh yeah perfect so uh

play22:44

we work with a road map in context of

play22:46

what we believe the future is so I'll

play22:48

share a little bit about that and then

play22:49

come down to what the next year has for

play22:51

us uh our core over the next few years

play22:55

is to really build a technology platform

play22:57

and a set of products that connect

play22:59

businesses to their ecosystems and do it

play23:01

smartly and do it intelligently um

play23:04

that's the the premise in which we're

play23:06

building what it means is that your core

play23:08

business management software should be

play23:09

able to connect your customers your

play23:12

suppliers uh Banks the government and do

play23:15

it in a way that makes it comfortable

play23:16

for you to run your

play23:18

business in light of that next year

play23:20

we're hoping to bring out two big

play23:22

releases maybe more uh that connect the

play23:25

our customers to some of that immed iate

play23:28

uh uh um ecosystem players and we feel

play23:32

that that can be tremendously valuable

play23:34

so that's on the product side on the

play23:36

company side we're continuing to look at

play23:38

the

play23:39

similar highish growth uh 30 35 40% we

play23:45

should be able to get to that place as

play23:47

well um so both on the company side

play23:49

we're quite happy I think we're very

play23:51

very excited on the product front and

play23:53

the Innovations the AI stuff all of

play23:55

those will keep kind of feeding in into

play23:57

the road map yeah yeah what about

play23:59

International expansion I mean are you

play24:01

super question moving to newer

play24:03

geographies or if you can just share

play24:05

about that absolutely so going back to

play24:07

the dream of building an India first but

play24:09

India for the world type of company we

play24:11

are kicked about the international

play24:13

markets we've been in the Middle East

play24:14

for now several years largest player by

play24:16

far in the Middle East uh excited about

play24:18

Africa excited about southeast Asia

play24:20

these are markets that kind of get us uh

play24:23

uh keep us awake at night many many

play24:25

times and we're hoping that a um company

play24:29

like us can do a a good job for

play24:30

businesses there got it got it um T just

play24:33

I mean last two questions from my end I

play24:35

am sure it will help a lot of our

play24:37

viewers as well um one is what is your

play24:40

advice for new age entrepreneurs who are

play24:43

coming on board especially for software

play24:45

Services right there's also a lot of

play24:47

foro that I see uh in terms of AI in

play24:50

terms of Innovations but uh what would

play24:52

be your top advice for them yeah I I I

play24:56

think uh given the experience that I've

play24:58

had and what I've seen um a few

play25:02

fundamentals always work well uh the

play25:05

first is that rushing to do something in

play25:07

the software space uh being first to

play25:10

Market is not something that we've ever

play25:12

seen work out in our 37 years we weren't

play25:15

the first accounting software weren't

play25:17

the first inventory software um but you

play25:21

ended up being the last uh and that's a

play25:23

great thing and that

play25:26

requires both

play25:28

uh patience uh but it also requires a

play25:31

little bit of courage in going in

play25:33

creating things which may not have been

play25:34

done and on day one you think it takes

play25:36

time to make it's not about how much

play25:39

time it takes once you address a problem

play25:41

most people are smart enough to pick it

play25:43

up uh so we really feel like if you

play25:46

really want to create something of value

play25:48

in software don't rush to be first uh

play25:51

but rush to be best um that's probably

play25:54

the big um headline advice that I would

play25:58

yeah yeah great thanks a lot Tes uh

play26:01

thanks a lot for joining us on that note

play26:03

we've come to an end of this very

play26:05

insightful conversation with Tas kenka

play26:08

the managing director of tally Solutions

play26:10

thanks a lot thank you thank you so much

play26:11

Baba thank

play26:17

you
